Eggs & butter
Could you please explain to me why Shoppers in Oliver limits the number of off eggs purchased to two dozen, and butter to four dozen, when no other Shoppers does the same? This always happens on a Thursday. I am a pensioner and eat a lot of eggs because they are cheaper, so if I want more eggs, I have to go back to the store two or three times. John Blay
Web site
If you look at the screen shot below you will see that the Shopper's Drug Mart website indicates that you accept booked appointments and walk ins for Covid boosters. When we walked in this morning we were told by the Pharmacy Assistant that the store does not accept walkins and an appointment must be booked.
Surely a well established company such as Shoppers Drug Mart can do better than this. Why isn't someone held responsible for ensuring that the information found on the website is consistent with the actual practice going on at the store level?
I am a dissatisfied customer.
Desired outcome: Please fix your website and get rid of the misleading information.

I went online to refill a prescription on September 22 2022 for Shoppers Drug Store # 1037 as I have done for years. The prescription in question is a diabetic glucose monitoring device called "Freestyle Libre 2" which is an electronic glucose monitoring system which is worn on the upper arm. The prescription is set up to dispense 4 units at a time. Each...

I’ve used numerous shoppers in my life time spent hundreds of dollars not even probably thousands of dollars in the store over the course of my lifetime and I just had enough. I basically went to go and pick up a Clinique lipstick black like honey which was sold out at the shoppers on 1077 North Service Rd. I come to the shoppers for my prescriptions and my daily shopping on a regular basis and I’m always followed by sketchy people and today I just had enough of this guy. His name is“ basil, and I literally watched him stand there looking like he didn’t know what he was doing in the hair care section, and this is a guy that you wouldn’t typically think would be looking for hair care, but he was on duty. I looked at his shirt his tag as soon as I left the aisle he left the aisle…. as a paying and loyal customer I don’t feel like being harassed. I don’t like to be followed. If you’re going to follow me, at least have the decency to upgrade your [censored]ing security cameras and watch me from a second view because I don’t want to be thinking somebody’s hovering over my back when I’m going shopping Before I left the store he goes up to his buddies which are probably the night manager of today’s date and they start laughing now is this fair for me as a customer that just spent maybe $50 in the store and honestly I didn’t have to spend that money I could’ve just literally screwed shoppers after asking them to order a lipstick for me and just go somewhere else and pay the extra 10 bucks like I normally do at your stores rather than going to let’s just say Walmart or Your next discount store I could do the same thing and just go to the Hudsons bay. I just feel like these employees need to be taught that not everybody comes into a store is the thief and the ones who are thieves typically get away because they spend too much time watching the wrong people you’re LP are unprofessional Judge mental racist. They marginalized people into little categories and they have to stop assuming when I come into shoppers if you ask me if I need help and I say no that’s it don’t ask me unless I come up to you. I have a voice my number is [protected]. You can email me at [protected]@mail.com.
I would like you guys to train your stuff to be more discreet when looking for shoplifters, and not assume that every person who comes into a shoppers whether they may be gay holding a shoppers bag or I don’t know maybe just having a hard time figuring out what to buy thinking that they’re going to steal that makes me want to go do business elsewhere. I don’t know what type of outcome personally you guys kids give me but I feel like if I had to continue Lee go through this harassment and be uncomfortable while shopping at your stores then I think I should be refunded or given a voucher for the amount that I was paid for for today’s process to resolve this issue if not, I would like an apology from the store manager, or the person reading this within the appropriate department at this time the only nice person that was working was the cosmetics girl. She was very nice and helpful and respects me when I want to shop at my own pace everyone else who is a male is making me feel uncomfortable like I am not allowed to be in the store or just because I’m gay . It’s obvious that I am in a [censored]ing cosmetics department excuse the language, but at this point, I am just beyond frustrated again. The guys name is basil like the vegetable, rude and arrogant just like all of the other ones that were on shift tonight September, 18, 2022 9:45 Pm

We are customers of Shopper's drug Mart pharmacy location 368 Brock Street S, Whitby. Store number : 1517
Last month when I took my medicine pills, I found on the last day that 1 pill was missing from the total count. It was 89 instead of 90. This was discovered on the last day as there were 2 pills to take instead of 3(I take 3 pills a day). I went and complained to the pharmacy and they said that they will make sure to double count next time.
Today September 16 we went to take new medication refill. It was 270 pills in total. I came home and counted them to make sure and as expected there were 2 pills missing. There were 268 pills instead of 270. I counted 5 times to make sure I am not doing it wrong. I went back immediately within 30 mins and complained about 2 missing pills. The pharmacist said they cannot do anything as we already took the medicines. I told this is the 2nd time we are complaining. On that she shouted "You mean we scamming you?".
Whatever I had to say, she was not ready to accept their fault and was indicating that I was the culprit and telling lies to get 2 extra pills. She went to the extent to suggest me to change my pharmacy if we are not happy.
I would definitely change my pharmacy but wanted to get this to your attention as this pharmacy and it's pharmacists are definitely spoiling Shopper's Drugmart name.
I will definitely tell all my friends and family about this incident and defer them from Shoppers. Will also leave reviews so that customers know about the terrible service they provide.
I hope you will take this seriously and do something to improve the pharmacy offering so that people feel good to visit it.
Cheated out of $25.00 due to shoppers error.
On May 31, I handed in my RX Suboxone (270 tablets x 3 months). The total for these should have been $25.00. Instead Shoppers only filled 90 tablets and charged me $25. for each and every fill. This meant that Shoppers overbilled me by $50.00. Just so you know, they have been filling this RX for me for the past 5 years. I finally confronted them on Saturday and asked for a copy of the RX and it clearly states 270 TABLETS FOR 3 MONTHS. I asked the Manager today for a refund of $50 being it was their error and he told me NO. He then offered me $25 and I told him THAT IS NOT RIGHT! You overbilled me, it was your error NOT MINE and he did not care.
If Bonnie Doon Shoppers Drug Mart is going to OVER BILL me on my RX and then NOT fully correct the overage, than that is THE SAME AS STEALING MONEY FROM A SENIOR.

Pharmacy service at 755 danforth evening of sept 10/22
At approximately 8.15 pm on Saturday September 10,2022 my pregnant wife and I went to the pharmacy at the back of Shopper's Drug Mart at 755 Danforth. My wife has had terrible pain in her legs and received a prescription from her obstetrician specialist and she was with me at the time. We wanted to ask the pharmacist some questions as we saw some compression stockings of the same brand prescribed my wife's doctor. There was practically no one in the store and one pharmacist in the pharmacy and we were the only people at the desk. She appeared to be filling a prescription or reviewing something on a screen and acknowledged me and said that she would be with us in a minute. Well more than 10 minutes went by during which time my wife found a breast pump on clearance, did the internet research to see if it was any good, went looking for other items as the standing in one place was killing her and still no movement to service from the pharmacist. We were in full view of the pharmacist the entire time and yet she remained buried in the screen and did not acknowledge us again, even after stating we were going to leave and then leaving. She just continued working on whatever it was she was doing and ignored us for almost 15 minutes after her first acknowledgement. We eventually walked away in full view of her and still she made no attempt to help us. This was abhorrent customer service, especially considering my wife is quite visibly pregnant and were in full view of the pharmacist the entire time. We will be filling out prescriptions and purchasing our goods at other locations in the future.
Needless to say we do not recommend frequenting pharmacy at 755 Danforth over the weekend as they plainly have the low level backup crew in there during this time.
Regards
Ian van de Wall ([protected]@gmail.com)
Desired outcome: We are accustomed to good service from this pharmacy but this pharmacist was horrible and we would like a response as to what actions were taken to prevent such an incident from occurring in the future.
Shoppers drug mart - text re promise of points on sept 6, 2022
I went to the Shoppers Drug Mart, Cole Harbour NS at approx. 8:11am on Tuesday, 09.06.22. I purchased items totalling $117.30. Subsequently, I received a text at 11:29am indicating I would be able to obtain $20,000 pts if I spent over $60. The text must be shown to avail oneself of the additional points. How can this be done when it is only received at 11:29am, almost noon hour of the day in question?
This email was received in Nova Scotia at 11:29am. This is totally unacceptable and it happens almost every time. This should be received at the start of business (or the day prior) to the start of the bonus event, NOT half way through the day.
This is totally false advertising. My receipt now says total points earned today at 1,530, NOT the 20,000 which was advised to me at 11:29am, and due to me on Tuesday, Sept 6th as advertised/texted.
Desired outcome: (1) My points as promised and (2) receipt of the text earlier than half way through the day in question.
Racial profiling at 388 king street west toronto
DATE - SEP 4 2022
TIME- 3PM/3:42 PM
Hi. I walked into Shoppers today with my boyfriend and we were racially profiled RIGHT OFF THE BAT. Right when we walked in, a security guard immediately rushed/ran to his post which was the entrance. We both felt that was unusual but didn't make a big deal out of it. I then proceeded to walk into the makeup section because I wanted to get a mascara. A male which you can see attached in the video immediately came to stand right beside me with a small amount of items in his grocery basket. I felt awkward but STILL didn't make a big deal out of it. The female in the beauty section named NAHAL asked me if I wanted to checkout even though I wasn't looking for her or at her and I said I was still shopping. I proceeded into the another aisle and was still followed by the same random male and the security guard. I then felt EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTBALE because I don't know who this male is and why I'm being followed. I called my boyfriend who was in another aisle to come to my aisle. Once he came, the racial profiler was still in my aisle. Another lady, not ... African, was in the same aisle but I guess she's not an "alert problem" for shoppers. I told my boyfriend to leave the aisle with me to go into an aisle far away from where we were to see if he follows me/us because I wanted to be sure. I felt unsafe. To no surprise, HE DID. I approached and politely asked if I was being followed and he said no. Told him I felt uncomfortable anyway with his behavior and we decided to go checkout. Right when we got almost got to self checkout NAHAL walked into the middle of the hallway with no lineup at self checkout and asked to check us out. I agreed but felt like she did that to make sure we don't "steal" anything. I guess the melanin in my skin depicts I'm a thief to people that work for shoppers and the staff. By the way, I have a recording of this interaction on my recording which I can send. My email doesn't allow me to send it here. Anyway, I decided to tell her how we felt and she basically dismissed it and said there's nothing she can do. However when I did tell her, she smirked and took it for a joke. I still kept my composure and decided not to act out of character. I have no problem sending the recording. We paid for our item and walked out. We later came back to get water and obviously saw the male who was racial profiling us sitting down and not following anybody that wasn't BLACK. As you can see in the video, he later admitted to following me and that was disgusting hearing it. I do have more videos to prove my point. As a human being with the same right as you reading this, this is the most unpleasant, un-bearing, scared, surprised and furious I've ever been. Why? Because I was minding my business. The reason this hurts is because, shoppers was busy when we got there and for some reason, I/we were the only person/people he needed to "watch". From the security guy, to the male follower and to NAHAL from the beauty section. It started with them and ended with them. I wanted to file a complaint to you directly before speaking my mind else where because this is UNACCEPTABLE. Its a shameful behavior. I felt extremely unsafe, gave me a lot of anxiety and I definitely DO NOT APPRECIATE that behavior in any way shape and form. I am still in disbelief with how I was treated. Again, I am directly bringing this to you before social media in hopes something is done about this and also with their behavior. I attached my receipt for you to see who checked us out. As you can see, her name is on it.
Beauty counter
I was in the store at Avenue Rd & Lawrence today around 1:00pm. I went to the beauty counter to ask for help in choosing some make up for a wedding but did not want to spend a lot of money explaining that it was a one use purchase. The sales woman actually said to me that there are only 2 people working and she has no time to go to the “other side” to help me. I am sure she saw the shock on my face and she then said that she could give me 2 minutes of her time! What kind of customer service is this? Just because I wasn’t going to be purchasing the expensive brands I was not deserving of her help? I held my tongue and walked out. I then went to the Shoppers at Lawrence & Bathurst and was helped by the most lovely saleswoman who gave me her full attention for 15 minutes. You can be sure that I will never enter the store at Avenue Rd & Lawrence again.

Returns
I recently tried to return make up items to shoppers drug Mart. When purchasing these items I confirmed with the staff at a couple of different shoppers drug Marts that I may be returning them due to allergies and that I would be returning them at a different store if I were to return them, assuming I didn’t break out in an allergic reaction like I had prior. The cosmetologist at these locations confirmed that a) I am able to try them and return them and b) I could return them at any location. When I went into my local location the cosmetologist at the counter was ready to return the items and the manager rudely interrupted and refused to return them claiming that I was not allowed to return items that were a) used b) from a different store and c) online orders. I have read on various sites that this is not the case and tried to explain this to him. He then raised his voice and rudely refused again and told me to go to the original stores so they can “deal” with me. Not acceptable!
Desired outcome: I went to another location and he (another manager) refused to return most of the items as well. I then proceeded to return the online orders through the mail but this is going to cost me eight dollars. I still have more to return
Customer service
Very disappointed in the customer service I received today at the Bay Roberts Pharmacy, the clerk was very rude, she has no customer service skills at all. No greeting skills, the only greeting I got was after I mentioned to her that this is the worst customer service ever, then she said have a good day when I was half way down the isle. I will not return to this pharmacy ever again. I am bringing my business else where.

I don’t usually complain I have used shoppers for over 30 yrs but I will not be using your services anymore on the last 2 occasions your staff have been extremely rude I even tried a different location but no the same rudeness. Surprisingly it’s not from your younger staff who are really polite and helpful. It’s your older employees 50-60 yrs who are so rude and act like they couldn’t careless the way they talk to you is very abrupt and unpleasant. I do not allow that from anyone maybe you should retrain your older personal on customer service. I am 63 myself and I will not tolerate being spoken to like a piece of dirt on the bottom of there shoe. If they don’t want to work there are plenty of people out there that do. So for this reason I will be using a different drugstore one that treats me with respect.
Desired outcome: I would like a response.
Covid-19 booster
I am very disappointed with the staff at this location. Upon arrival, I was presented with a form to fill out. They didn't ask my name or for my appointment time. I told them that I didn't bring my glass and could not read the form. I started to fill it out, However in the end I simply couldn't read the form. When I indicated to the staff that I needed to cancel the appointment, only then was an offer made to assist me with the form. Unfortunately by this point my patience had run out. and I left. There was no area provided to sit and kill out the form, so trying to do this while holding a clipboard was extremely difficult.
Desired outcome: Too late to fix my situation, the store management should be made aware of the staff behavior as it isn't good for business.
Pharmacy never available
Hello my name is Bonnie Curtis and I have been a customer of Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy for over a decade now. however I have always had the same issue all the time. Not being able to get them on the phone to refill my script. I have had to call numerous times as I just keep looping through or as I just had happen I get hung up on. Today this is my 7th time calling I have waited over 5 minutes each time and have been hung up on once. When I do finally get through and place my refill for the next morning. I still end up calling in the next morning only to find out nothing was put through. I get told to come in an hour it will be ready, guess what... it is never ready. This has happened for years now. I get a blister pack and three times my pack was missing the same medication. thank goodness it was not a heart pill. heavens for bid they miss a heart pill and us customers trust it is right and someone end up having a heart attack.
Desired outcome: I would like be able to call and get a resolution in one call and not have to have such a hard time. i want my script right. I just want them to do their job correct and be less of a hassle. Thank you
staff behavior
About 9 months ago i moved into Abbotsford, I have used Shoppers for over a decade, never had an issue. The closest Shoppers is the one on Clearbrook and Trethewey, so i had my file moved there. Within two visits I knew things had radically changed. The Mission branch were professional polite & helpful, the exact opposite of my experience in Abbotsford (with the exception of Abella who is a bright light in the darkness of this place). I've had multiple bad experiences but have held off because I figured maybe I just had some bad luck but it keeps on happening, surly and unhelpful staff, ludicrous wait times for simple issues and staff that seem perpetually simultaneously overwhelmed in one of the least busy Pharmacies ive ever seen while somehow also managing to look in no hurry whatsoever. Sikh staff who speak with honey on their lips to other Sikh customers but are surly, short and often plain rude to customers who do not speak Hindi. The biggest consternation has been the multiple times when I will call in or drop off a modest prescription early in the morning, to be told to pick it up after 11 pm, only to be told when i arrive that its STILL not ready and "can you come back tomorrow morning?", im on disability, also recently injured (4 months) with a snapped humorous arm bone and no vehicle, its no easy task to get there as it is. This has happened many times! I get zero help from staff to resolve any issues. Ive seen others, including seniors, go through this as well. All of this might be ok IF I was able to get through on the phone to ask if its ready or to ask a simple question but even that is nearly impossible. Iam right this moment on hold, it took me five tries of getting hung up on to br told, rudely, that it will be at least 25 mins more...but ive already been on 30 mins, still NOTHING!
Desired outcome: Just to have the staff behave in a commensurate manner to any other Shoppers, of which ive never had any complaints.
Frozen entree
I picked up two butter chicken frozen entree packs from the freezer in the front aisle with a large sign claiming Sale $3.49 for frozen entrees. As the butter chicken and kung pow chicken are the only two items in that freezer it was not hard to figure out. When the price scanned at self check for $5.49 I asked the cashier to help. I told her they were from that freezer. She then walked off to the back of the store only to return and advise me these are $5.49. I said not according to the signage on the freezer. She then wanted to take me someplace else to show me that they were not on sale. I can read so did not require training by a disinterested cashier. If you are unable to figure out that items placed in a freezer with a sale price on it are on sale that is your problem. When your problems become my problems I say so long. That needless exchange resulted in one less family shopping at your store but based on the lack of enthusiasm in trying to keep them your staff will probably rejoice as the work load lightens.

Seeking follow up for investigation #[protected]. Someone named Shelley was the person assigned to this investigation. I have been informed by voicemail that this issue has been resolved but I have no information as to how it has been resolved. Do I still have a functioning doctor or do I have to seek another? This is an important concern both for Shoppers credibility as a provider of physicians within the health system and for me personally. Please follow up.
