Singapore Post (SingPost) Item Undelivered

Please know that I have posted this in Social Media. Below is the same content I am going to send to your Customer Service email.

Tracked item: SPXQAS000527453 (Speedpost)

This would be the second time I ordered something from America which was never delivered to me after the item was handed over to Singpost. The first one I did not enquire with Singpost as I decided to accept the fact that the item was lost in local transit, knowing Singpost’s bad reputation. I did not have a choice to choose other courier service because the item was handed over to Singpost from DHL when the item reach Singapore. So, I tried to order the same item again the 2nd time after a few months. Again, item was handed over to Singpost but the item was still not delivered. I had been tracking the item since the start of my order. It was smooth until it was handed over to Singpost on 19 Apr 2022. I checked the item via tracking in the Singpost and Speedpost website and it is still indicated as “Item is with Singpost (Singapore) for processing” dated 19 Apr 2022 at 15:51. Below are chronological events when I started calling Singpost.

28 Apr 2022 – I called Singpost at [protected] (13:53 hrs) to enquire about the item. I gave the tracking number, customer service informed that it was with Speedpost since 19 April under priority delivery and this should not be taking long to be delivered. Customer service informed that this would be escalated to Speedpost team and they would get back to me within 3 days.

No call received from Speedpost.

06 May 2022 – I called customer service at [protected] (1722hrs). Customer service asked for description of item. I informed that it was a portable blender. Again, I was informed that the Speedpost team would call me back within 3 days.

9 May 2022 – I received a call with number displayed as [protected] (1139 hrs). But the caller hung up before I could answer. It did not ring for long. I suspect that the call is just for record to show that your team called me. I called [protected] (1205 hrs) to check and the customer service said someone called me to ask what the item was. Didn’t the previous customer service officer record the item when I informed during the call on 06 May 2022? So, the customer service officer again said that he would refer this to the Speedpost team and someone would call me within 3 days.

10 May 2022 - I received a call from number [protected] (1519hrs). A lady informed that she was from Singpost asking me if I have received my item. I said no. I do not understand why she asked me if I have received my item when the status of the tracking is still the same - “Item is with Singpost (Singapore) for processing” – no change since 19 Apr 2022. She said she would inform “them”. I asked who was “them” that she was referring to, she said Singpost. I am confused as to why she referred Singpost as “them” when she is from Singpost.

12 May 2022 – I received a call from number [protected] (15:40 hrs). Sounded like the same lady who informed me again that she was from Singpost – again asked me if I have received the item. I said no.

Today, I received no more calls from Singpost. From the above, you could see that this is unacceptable service from Singpost. If you have lost my item just tell me the truth. A fair compensation to me of the amount paid to the vendor would be appreciated if you have lost the item, since you did not honour your part of the service.

Please do not make me wait for calls anymore and I am also tired of calling your customer service again as I could see that it is going nowhere. I appreciate if you could just compensate me for the items lost for the equivalent amount paid in USD44.96 (approx.SGD62.70). I am able to provide the official email from the vendor confirming the amount paid. It is good enough that I did not claim from the first parcel lost.

Desired outcome: If item is lost, please compensate or if item is found, send me the item as soon as possible.

Singapore Post (SingPost) services provided towards an elderly

earlier today, 9/5/22, around 1pm, my grandparents visit the outlet at 10 choa chu kang road, s(689379), to help a relative of mine mail out a REGISTERED mail. As it was a registered mail, my grandparents had to write the address on the spot, but they aren’t familiar with any english letters, and requested one of the staff on duty for help, but she did not want to help, attitude towards my grandparents were absolutely bad too. So eventually my grandfather had to write it himself, but the address isn’t readable to me at all, so if the mail is mailed to the wrong address, i would like the staff that was on duty to take up full responsibility. I hope this would change her attitude towards serving her customer in the future and punishments to be made against her actions. I do not condone such attitude and i believe she has all the rights to help out customers who needs help, instead of sitting aside and watch. A female stuff, muslim, not sure of her name as my grandparents can’t read and see english well.

Desired outcome: i hope punishments are taken towards her disrespectful attitude, and for her to take up full responsibility if the item is mailed out to the wrong address.

Singapore Post (SingPost) Mailing service

I am writing to inform you that very often mails that my family are supposed to receive were delivered to other people. On multiple occasions, a nice neighbor upstairs personally handed us the our mail that was wrongly inserted into their letterbox. We also have an important mail that was ripped open, read and returned to SingPost for reposting.

This has caused us so much inconvenience and I hope that this issue can be improved. This happens in Teck Whye Lane where I live.

Thank you.

Desired outcome: Improvements / apology

Singapore Post (SingPost) Package not received — speedpost item cc922854734sg.

Dear Mr Mayank Singh,

I'm very disappointed with your service. I want to raise this concern and complain regarding this matter to your administration.

I am home last 24 February 2022 at 12:41 pm. I was home all day and nobody rang the bell.

I did not receive any call, message, email or information from your office regarding the delivery date.

I did not receive any call, message, email or information as your claim for the unsuccessful delivery.

I did not receive any information about where can I get the package from your office here in Belgium.

You have decided to dispatch and return the package without my knowledge. You did not even make a second attempt of delivery from 24 February 2022 until 9 March 2022. You did not even inform me of the whereabouts of my package since you are claiming that it was unsuccessful delivery.

I could even go to your office here in Belgium. But there were no instructions or information given to me in order to get my package before you returned and dispatched the package back to Singapore.

According to the Terms and Conditions from SingPost 3.4

ii. Speedpost Standard and Singpost Economy SingPost will make door-step delivery of the parcel up to maximum of two re-attempts, afterwhich the Parcel will be returned to the sender.

I have been following up and kept on tracking my package all the time. I even wonder why the delivery service was so slow and delayed. Based on the tracking states that it was sent to the Post Office at Macpherson Road, office last 6 October 2021 and departed from Singapore Hub for Transit to Overseas Destination by 21 October 2021 by Speedpost Service Centre. I have emailed you and other staff from customer services last 19 January 2022 for follow up and I have even received an email from you stating that it was only dispatched from Singapore to Belgium, last 30 December 2021 and I have to wait, which I did. I don't even question you about the inaccurate tracking status and why the package was dispatched and delayed from October and moved to December.

I have waited for this package for 5 months and this is what I get from you. The sender, Ms Janice Jill Francisco, my friend is not residing in Singapore anymore. Please do something to deliver my package for it was not my fault and it was yours.

I am looking forward to receiving my package even it will take a longer time.

Best Regards,

Marnie Managuit

Desired outcome: Please deliver my package back to Belgium

Singapore Post (SingPost) LP037608783HK - Undelivered parcel

I’m writing this letter to express my disappointment when SingPost. I am very distressed with the service rendered by SingPost.

Not a single form of contact was made by SingPost to highlight to me that my address was incomplete & that the package couldn’t reach to its destination.

I tracked my parcel online and at that point of time, it merely said pending deliver status. I had to place calls to only find out that parcels is with SingPost Center due to incomplete address (1/03/22). At first I was very pleased with customer service staff who handled the case. She’s been very professional throughout and assist me with the issue.

It took SingPost 3 days (03/03/22) to literally do nothing about my parcel. Nothings been done for the past 3 days. SingPost called, mainly just to inform me of the delivery issue (which I have already known and spoken to) and that they’ll do something about it and keep me in the loop the next couple of days.

There’s no follow up calls ever since. I had to check online again to only find out that the items are already on the way back to Hong Kong.

Now it’s going to take another month for it to be delivered back to SG. On top of that, despite all the lack of updates and communication from SingPost; I had to front additional shipping cost.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement of the additional shipping cost & please contact me if there are issues with the delivery. There’s a reason why you gather customers contact information.

Singapore Post (SingPost) SpeedPost Delivery - XZDAMZ0369593

My Amazon Package was supposed to deliver on 21 Feb to office address, and without calling me, from the tracking record, it showed a failed delivery attempt as office is closed at 6:31pm. Parcel out for delivery again, this time I waited at office reception area till 7:40pm, then saw the tracking record, failed delivery attempt at 7:27pm as office is closed. They did not even come to the office, I have also checked with building security, no courier / Singpost came at that time. I filed a complaint through SingPost website on 22 Feb night but only received an automated email. On 23 Feb morning, since nobody from SingPost return my call, I called SingPost customer care and told them to arrange for delivery by 23 Feb 5:30pm. I called at 3:30pm, customer care said courier never respond. I called again at 4:30pm, then customer care said that courier is unable to deliver till to overwhelming delivery (well! SingPost, if you cannot handle the bulk delivery, please employ more staffs). We customers who ordered online are at SingPost mercy, praying hard my item will arrive tomorrow before 11am.

Desired outcome: I want my parcel to be delivered by 24 Feb 11am. Amazon sellers - please find other logistics / courier company to do the delivery in Singapore.

Singapore Post (SingPost) ePac Delivery Tracking Number LB274679356SG

Delivery attempt was made, without any advance notice, during office hours (Mon to Fri) when no one is at home. When I contacted SingPost via chat, I was told to wait for the next delivery or self-collect as there is no way I can arrange receipt or leave instructions for the parcel to be left somewhere.

Why is so much time and resources wasted when all it takes is a simple advance notification or provision that can be made to arrange receipt? There will definitely be another 2 failed delivery attempts and parcel will get sent back to e-commerce entity sending it.

I understand that arrangement for receipt can be made with SpeedPost but not ePac. Why?

Desired outcome: Please have same arrangements for ePac as with SpeedPost. Am not free to collect parcel nor see the need as I am paying for delivery.

Singapore Post (SingPost) SINGPOST COURIER - CR926505663SG / CAS-6110908-R5X3D1

Hi Team,

We sent some old books to the Philippines on 23 Nov 2021 and declared the value and also included a contact number for the recipient.

The parcel never arrived at the immigration Destination hub till 14 Jan 2022.
Till then I have called up several times to check on the status of the books but each time I was advised that there will be an agent contacting me, but non did.

It is very tiring and troublesome to keep calling and then be left in the dark with no clues, or follow up action.

The books were for a simple 9 year old boy, with very little and he was looking forward to his Christmas gift, but till now never received it. He is very disappointed and sad that the books never arrived at his destination.

This is very very disappointing . Hope Singpost can look into this matter with importance. Thanks.

Mag

Singapore Post (SingPost) Very Poor and Unprofessional services from the Customer Services

I had arranged a parcel to be airfreighted to the USA. The Parcel was collected on the 4 Jan, 2021. SpeedPost had estimated the delivery will be between 5-7 days to reached its destination. I did the payment for the shipment.

On the 11 Jan, we called up their customer service, and shocked to find out that they did not uplift my parcel due to some issue. The parcel was still in their Hub. So, I asked her why didn't anyone informed us on this issue? She cannot reply and did not give any definite answer. Her name is Ika. That was the first CS I spoken to. She said she will update us soon. There was no update at all. Next day, we called and another CS took the call and repeated the same to us. They even said that the parcel will be returned back to us. When I asked when, she said she do not know. Her name was Sasha. In the afternoon, we called to check on our parcel to be returned, but this time another CS took the call. She did not informed that the previous CS did not do any actions on her part and this CS, Ida had to escalate and check the returned delivery. She also mentioned that she will update us again. I called again in the late afternoon since the CS did not call, this time was another CS, Parvean. Now, this lady told me that she had arranged a Manager to call us before 8pm that evening. There was no call from that Manager at all.

I had gone thru 4 Customer service agents and none can resolve the issue of my 6kg parcel. All of them said the same sentences as their been asked to say. Ï'm sorry". It was stranded in the HUB and until today was not returned to us as yet. Being Singapore Post, where is the efficiency of the standards they so called being the best. Their service totally unacceptable and not professional at all.

The sad truth is being unprofessional, the Manager did not keep his promise to call us back which lack in the integrity of the so called Manager of the Singapore Post.

Desired outcome: I need my parcel and my refund back.

Singapore Post (SingPost) Claim process for lost parcel - pingpong between different departments

Hi Sir, I ordered an SingPost Shop philatelic order #[protected] worth SGD69.20 include postage to Malaysia. The parcel tracking ID was RA649230822SG. Sadly the parcel was lost in Malaysia after custom inspection. Since then I contacted and follow up with Singpost Shop, Singpost Customer Services for registered mail and finally Singpost Claim. Many tickets were opened and all enquiries were replied with professional messages but it took months for me to receive the message that I can not claim for the lost parcel but only the Sender (SingPost Shop) can do it.
I attached the some of the information in attachment.

Desired outcome: Please re-send a NEW parcel with the ordered philatelic order or just refund me back to my credit card.

Singapore Post (SingPost) P.O.Box

On 8/11/2021 I went to the Sing Post at Bukit Batok Central Post Office to apply for P.O.Box to have my mail redirected into this box.
I was told to pay $96.30 for the rental of the box and also to pay another $89.10 for 3 mths redirecting service. The service will start only on 11/11/21.
Everything seems well but unfortunately on 10/11/21 when I approach my bank, insurance company, credit card service and was told that we are not allowed to send to P.O.Box. Now my question is, why was I not told, I would expect the staff to tell me these companies do not allow us to use this service. As you are well aware that I am a senior citizen, surely we are not updated and it is your front line people who should advise us what to do, instead they kept quiet about it and all they want me to do is to make the payment that's all.
Today on 11/11/21 I went to the Post Office again to inform them to redirect my mail to another address instead of P.O.Box and I was again to make another payment of the same amount again.
I have not even use the box yet and my hard earned money is forfeited. I think this is not fair to me, it is not my fault as your staff did not inform me and I paid it innocently. I wish to request for a refund as this not fair to a senior citizen and this only happen 2 days ago.
Please review and refund me some money as I am a retiree and the money is very important to me. Thanks
