Sky Sports review: Tennis coverage

Sky Sports are misleading us on programme headings and providing poor service on tennis!

Sky Sports have advertised their programme as the Linz Open WTA tennis tournament, which is a 500 class, yet as and when they feel like it, they switch to the men’s tournament in Sud de France, an inferior 250 class! Having waited all evening to watch women’s no 1 seed, Ostapenko, they decide not to show that match in preference to the men’s match…..which is not even advertised! This is the service we get from a monopoly as we have no choice. Disgusting Sky! Misleading advertising, indicating preference against women and not even having a suitable platform available until well after you have won the contract from Amazon who did a far better job as did Discovery. Give us our proper tennis coverage back. I see that the new platform is not going to show all the replays either. So we are back to staying up all night to watch a live match in US, Asia and Australia! Unless it’s a final…..
