horrible haircut
Valerie is a middle aged smoker who wears glasses. She did not heed my simple instructions. In fact, she cut it too small under Neath near my bottom of my skull near neck to start. - she stayed it was to start a pattern l.
The so called pattern should just have stated at the Neck!
If one didn't know current styles or lacks skill. They need to take instruction and listen then comprehend. OR not cut of more than you can replace. I was dissatisfied and know my self image is lower since I paid some one to cut likemy hair of like some Barbie doll in kids hands..
Everyone has bad days but she was not knowledge and did not ask questions or cut little at time and discuss with me..
I wish I was in competent hands with here. How can a hair dresser have a licence and be outdated or incompetent in ones skill.
My hair was cut chin length and finally I had to ask Valerie not to cut anymore onmy hair.. you are cutting it to short. I should have been in a long Bob undercut half inch at nape of neck no shorter.
Can we fix this? No glue puts back on hair and now I'm going to California on vacation with hats.. y we ah..

My name is Stacy Mullican. I had an appointment with your stylist Justin today at 1pm (2/3/19). I showed up a couple minutes before one and another stylist Amanda was at the register. I told her I had an appointment with Justin at 1pm. He had someone in his chair and she said ok it'll be just a minute. I stood there and waited until about 1:33pm and then Justin finished with the guy in his chair. There was another guy waiting by the desk for a haircut. By this time another worker JoAnna was at the register and told the guy he was next. She sent him to Justin's chair and looked at me and said you're next. I said I had an appointment with Justin at 1, I have to wait and I'm next even though I had an appointment? She said what time did you get here? I told her before 1. She said well you weren't marked as here, so you'll be next. And here I sit waiting STILL at 1:58pm. I am going to leave this salon and I guarantee I will not come back here again. I have a job and do not have time for this. That is why I made an appointment to begin with. All of my children go to Justin for their hair. He is amazing and has the best personality and attitude but your other staff are completely rude and unprofessional. I will be sure to spread the word as well to my friends and coworkers and on social media about this incident too.
bad bad haircut
I went in to get a haircut I knew the girl she's cut my hair before came home the following day I realized that it was longer on one side than the other and choppy really choppy in the back she parted it in the middle to cut it and I wear it on the side so one side is way off I went back and she cut it shorter in the back a lot shorter than I wanted it because she had to fix it now I can't do anything but put a hat on my head this is ridiculous I have filed a complaint before and got no response please get back with me as soon as possible I have some pictures of my hair and believe me people notice my hair and look at me like I'm crazy

My name is Kaitlyn Augustine, I have been employed at the Catskill, Smart Style Salon for the past couple of months. Unfortunately, I had to leave my position at this salon due to horizontal violence from the store manager & unprofessionalism. On 1/19/19, Smart Style Manager, Emmy Sherman came to work intoxicated, she proceeded to brag about her consumption of alcohol & how exhausted she was. Emmy cut two people's hair that day, then decided she was tired. This presents a liability to the corporation, let alone the customer sitting in the chair having a haircut from someone who is intoxicated. On 1/25/19 during my scheduled shift, Emmy physical pushed me out into the customer area & proceeded to tell me to go get customers. Emmy has been rude, crude, & degrading to me for the past month. I do not believe that this is the mission in which "Smart Style " prides itself upon. I take pride in my career & I believe Smart Style takes pride in their business. I do not believe that Smart Style would allow bullying, horizontal, physical, or unprofessionalism in the workplace. We live in a small community & word travels fast about negative business conduct to staff. I hope that in writing this complaint/concern that others will not have to endure the traumatic negative behavior that I have had to put up with. Thank you for taking the time to address this issue.

I went into the lakeland Wal-Mart location to get a haircut. It's horrible. one side is so uneven than the other and you don't have to be an expert to see it. My hair looks like I chopped it off myslef. For a 1st time experience with smart style it was awful. I would never suggest anyone to go there. I feel so embarrassed to go out like this and especially to high school as a junior.

I got my hair coloured a ombre purple, and it is staining my neck even when dry. I wash it in cold water with color treatment shampoo and conditioner and yet even after leaving it my hair is still staining my neck and I have to wash it off every couple hours. The colouring is already fading massively after 2 washes and I only got it done 10 days ago. I went back and they wouldn't offer to fix it or refund me about it and now I feel like I'm out $200 because I'm living with more purple on my neck than my hair. I would like a refund, but got told that that is not possible. Also got told purple does this and I have to live with it I am extremely unsatisfied. Love the look but it is being ridiculous with the staining.
horrible experience - not letting customers know appointment cancelled
Tara Bumbarger was extremely unprofessional- I had an appointment with her for a haircut 11/16 3:30 pm. I was not called or informed to say that the store was closing due to inclement weather. called shop multiple times at 3pm before starting from home - answering service said they are open. drove in the snow so that I was not keeping her waiting. called/texted Tara multiple times on her cell. finally she texted me to say they were closed- I was already at Walmart by then. I have known Tara for a very long time and did not expect such thoughtlessness on her part! this experience was a selfish horrible one and I will not be returning to this place ever again!

Okay its been a while since i had it done and it took me until a week ago to do anything about it. I lost my mother a few days after the horrible color and im raising my sisters 3 kids that lost their mother, father, and grandmother (that was raising them before she passed). Im sorry it took me so long but i didnt know i had a time limit to turn it in. I sure didnt expect to get my hair completely opposite of what i ask for. I say my hair was orange, black and the whitest blonde ive ever seen. I didnt ask for my hair to look horrible and i guess my horrible and your horrible are completely opposite but you have no right to say my hair looked fine. I didnt pay 104.00 dollars to look like that. I deserve my money back at the least.

My daughters haircut is HORRIBLE! Beside being WAY shorter than asked it is completely uneven and after pointing it it was told I was making the stylist nervous and she proceeded to cut it shorter still leaving it uneven. I was charged 15 and still tipped 5 and have to pay again to have it fixed else where. I am being bullied by the manger and district manger of salon 331 They have cut my hours trying to force me to quit this has been going on for about 5months now. But I won't leave because I enjoy working in the salon. They have wrote me up about things that wasn't true. Trying to scare me into quitting. My numbers will speak for it self. The manger hates me and use her position the intimated me and other stylist. But me personally she doesn't care for. Will someone please help me. I had an unbelievable bad experience. The stylist Jenny was so aggressive and verbally abusive. She roughed up my kids during the hair cut and couldn't stop swearing in front of the kids.
I arrived at 7:15 to their shop which closes at 8 pm. She agreed to take both my boys in. Then after 30 min and while cutting my first son's hair she start becoming visibly frustrated and angry for unclear reasons to me. She became increasingly impatient and rude when she started cutting my second son's hair. She flatly refused to use scissors as I requested and she used the trimmer against my wishes. She was roughing up my little kid and aggressively adjusting his head position. It was obvious that she was taking out her unjustified frustration on my son who I thought was terrified at this point. She said that I should be thankful that she is wasting her time cutting my son's hair. She told me that I should have come earlier. At the cashier she started arguing with me about the price of my oldest son's haircut. She accused me of lying about his true age in order to save a few dollars. She said and I quote " I am not doing this s*** for free and it is not a charity". I insisted that she take a look at my son's health card to confirm that he was 10 years old but she repeatedly refused to look at the health card. She threatened to call the police if I do not pay At this point my kids started to cry. She then called a woman who she claimed was her manager. This manager in turn told me to stop talking and that she did not want to hear the story. She said that she will charge me the price of a kid's haircut this time. So the manger herself was apparently no better than her worker. It was a surreal experience to say the least. Totally unacceptable and unbelievable. I have never seen or heard anything like this in my life.

I went in today to get blonde and brunette. They went all over brown and barely had any blonde, then went over again and took every little piece of blonde out. Then charged me $131 for this when I can get it somewhere else $90 max. This is ridiculous. They didn't even advise me about how much it would possibly cost either, especially being that much!

The girls at "Smartstyle" salon in Jasper need to be fired. When I went there for my cut and highlights they overcharged me by nearly 40 bucks but the real problem was when I went to pick up my refund, the way the manager screamed and yelled. Today I went in there to ask an elderly man if could borrow his cart for my grandfather on the condition that I return it directly to him. They started mouthing, the one who cut my hair says "yeah that's her there's nothing wrong with that [censored]es' hair" I simply laughed and said "yes there is" and walked out. Upon returning the cart to the man, another lady asked if the man was my dad. She then started screaming and yelling saying I wasn't allowed in there anymore. I told her she couldn't stop me because I didn't do nothing wrong, I just requested a refund of the overcharge. Then she asks "I thought you said you worked for Wal-Mart?" I answered "uh no, I told that girl over there that I used to work at Wal-Mart years ago and I even gave her a business card because she said she was wanting to relocate ". So then she starts screaming some more saying I was banned from their salon. Lol. So I told her I had talked to corporate, sent them pictures of my hair and the corporate office agreed that I was due a refund". So she got real mad then, spraying spittle everywhere and says "this ain't walmart we can do what we want!".
Highly unacceptable and something I won't tolerate coming from someone that's supposed to be a "professional". Not to mention, I have a short fuse for stupid people. So back on the phone with corporate I go. Something must be done about the way they treat people and how they badmouth and talk about EVERYONE that comes in and out of their crappy salon!
Lmao..so we went back to Wal-Mart at about 5:00 or 5:30pm just to get some "slap ya mama" and have some keys made. Those psychos at the salon seen us and called the law on me!😂 I guess they were trying to get me banned from Wal-Mart? I went to the police station and gave the kind policeman my statement of what really happened. He just chuckled and apologized for me coming up there and assured me I wasn't in any kind of trouble. I told him I was happy to tell him what really went on today and thanked him for taking the time to speak with me. I'm positive Regis and corporate isn't going to like this when I speak to both of them Monday. Lol

My name is Angel Fesler. I have been trying to contact someone to talk about my complaint for 11 days now. Attached is a picture of what I wanted vs. What I received. I traveled 30 miles, took over 2 hours to do my hair and was late to my pagent for a pony tail, braid and nothing even close to what I wanted. Their are PLENTY of hair salons in my town that would of done it faster and cheaper. I stuck with SmartStyle because they have been doing my pageant hair for years. $51 is overkill for a pony tail and a braid. I will pay for what I got but not $51.

Today I had my eye brow waxed from Walmart SmartStyle Hair salon, Oxford, MS. The lady just messed up all. In 15 years since I am doing my eye brow, I have never gotten such experience. The lady said she is having 10 years of experience, still she removed my eye brow almost a inch from the side towards nose. She could just appologise on her negligence and said she doesn't know how did it happen. I wonder if she being racist did that as I am a muslim girl? or she would have shown same negligence to a white or christian or whatsoever her own kind? To me excuse like this that she doesn't know how come it happen while she must be a professional sitting there is so disturbing.

I went to a SmartStyle shop in Walmart yesterday. There was only 1 person there cutting hair. I was a little leary because he was a black man with 1 eye. I know that cutting African American hair is different than cutting Caucasians hair. But, i went ahead & let him cut it because i was in serious need of a haircut. I showed him 2 PICS on my phone of the cut i wanted. MY HAIR IS HORRIBLE & LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PICS I SHOWED HIM! I just hope that my hair can be fixed. I took my son to get his haircut and the lady refused to cut his hair she says he doesnt wash his hair but he does he just isnt rinsing good enough she acts all high and mighty and only will mess with certain hair. She is very unprofessional. I have never been so humiliated in my life. She works out of the walmart in Pulaski TN. She stood there and whispered about us until the older lady took over and then he got the worst haircut ever. These people do not care about their customers AT ALL.

When my husband and I walked in asked if she had time for 2 cuts she was sitting at a shampoo bowl eating a lunchable. She had nobody waiting other than the 3 of us the store was empty no other people were present. I showed Kendra a still shot of what I wanted followed by a YouTube video giving breakdown and commentary by the stylist who created and maintains this cut and style on the person in his chair who was in the still shot photo I presented Kendra. Her attitude was poor as I said nobody else was there but instead of letting this just over 3 minute video play she tapped my screen to fast forward it. She proceeded to crowed me in the chair to the point I had to law my arms in my lap and not allow them to continue to rest them on the arm rest. I could tell by how she was handling cutting my hair she was doing it wrong and multiple times including when I sat in her chair I tell her this style calls for using the tips of the scissors. She ignored me. She then made a part this this style has no part. She got a barrel brush and hairdryer out used them to continue making the part that I had already told her didn't exist in this cut and style. By this time I was so angry I said I'm done! I took the cape off and put it in her counter. I matter keeping my back to the mirror she I guess thought she was going to get by with messing my hair up. Idk she pops off and has the nerve to say " you can't expect me to cut your hair like what's in that video!" Really I said pointing tiny he stack of style books and said " I can come in here and thumb through any of those books and say as I point to a picture I want this one. You have to do that one. So how is it you can't do it off a picture and a video I show you?" I looked at my husband who by now was in the other stylist chair and said if you're charged for both cuts on one ticket do not tip! My hair is beyond messed up! I don't think it can be fixed! I contact the person in the salon today on 7/16/18 about my experience on 7/14/18 and she gives me a bogus 800 number telling me to call and give a detailed review of my account on Saturday. I have no doubt this was to give me the run around. Which only fans my flames of now an extended experience with this local Walmart's salon. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 No stars thumbs down horrid experience!
