In the past I have ordered several items from Society6. I thought the customer service was great, the quality of the items was wonderful and I thought it was a great company. However, and it is a big however, today on my phone feed an advertisement came up from Society6 with a photo of a nudewoman kneeling with her legs spread apart. I couldn't believe that a soft porn photo is showing up as an advertisement on my phone! It wasn't tasteful, it wasn't artistic it was just a soft porn photo! My young grandchildren get ahold of my phone on various occassions and they shouldn't be exposed to this type of avertissement! I think this is a horrible decision made by Society6 and shows the true character of this company. I will no longer be ordering from Society6 and I will spread the word to my family, friends, acquaintances andI am inclined go on Twitter etc.

Non existant customer service. Rude staff who just tell you repeatedly "your order will ship soon" - a week and a half later and tracking info still says "your order will be picked up soon - check back for tracking details". Their website says shipping occurs in 3-5 days - well im on day 10 and my item has yet to actually be picked up by the shipping company so id say 3-5 days is a lie. I also suspect they gave me the tracking link knowing full well it wouldnt actually ship out until who knows when - but giving me the pre tracking confirmation in their eyes is sufficient to resolve the problem?
I wont buy from them again..

Society6 is knowingly selling unauthorized artwork.
A wide range of products on their platform is showing unauthorized artwork.
They ignore any complaints, and prefer keeping illegal artwork on their platform in order to make money.
This is a highly fraudulent company and not at all supporting artists as they as they suggest to do.

I ordered Artistic rugs and as one was a duplicate and one wasn’t even a rug, I kept ones that worked and returned the two mentioned above. I could not get a response until I contacted PayPal. I then got a refund for one of them but get no response when I inquire about the other. When I did get someone to talk to their response was short and Curt And rather insulting. I had my own business and took care of my customers who returned over 20 years. What these companies don’t understand is when they screw their customers they don’t return. Customers are who keeps them in business.

Bought some products a friend made, please excuse if I don't write the artists' name, just don't wanna any harm for the artist.
The all over print shirts are of very bad quality, many parts are white (without ink) and after one hand wash with cold water and light soap the fabric ends up with tyny little "balls" allover, not recommended at all.
Leggings are see-thru, not recommended at all.
All in all the prices are too high for all their products.
About Society6 "caring and respecting" artists' and their copyrights, that's false. If an artist closes a store and leaves, even after deleting his images previously, some of these continue on third party sites where S6 publishes them. Two sites I know about are picVpic and Amazon, but there probably are more.
What does this mean? It means that Society6 continues profiting from artists' art without paying them their commissions.
Artists who address to Society6 in this regard get a "polite" response and apology telling them that S6 will talk to their marketing service to take the images down. Days pass, but nothing happens.
Artists don't get paid for all the products Society6 sells while they still are "inside".
Artists: Don't waste your time using this site.
Customers: Read other customers' complaints (here and search the web for more) before buying.
Society6: Liers, shame on you.

product not accurate
I ordered a bed comforter. The image on the comforter is not the same as advertised on the website. The image on comforter is far more blown up to the extent the image is cut off. The unicorn legs are cut off. My daughter will probably ask me why the legs are missing by this company can support a website address yearly and a web designer and maintain accounts receivable but can’t manage to provide a phone service besides a message stating they don’t offer customer service by phone. This place is a joke! Stay away! They scream scam n greed.

I knew it would one day happen to me. I never got my order. I have written tons of emails and made numerous calls. Useless. If you ignore your customers, then how do you still run a business like yours? It's just unbelievable. The only thing I would like to know is where's my order and there's any opportunity to do something with this.
My friend warned me that dealing with your website is like a lottery, but I didn't believe this crap would happen. So frustrated.

I ordered a poster from yourselves for my girlfriend as a present as I am not in the country.

I was very disappointed the she had to buy it off the post office for a further $20 because Society 6 did not pay the shipping tax.
It was not outlined at all that there would be such a ridiculous shipping tax for a poster on the listing on your website.
No warnings or anything. Furthermore I was promised free shipping for my items but this did not materialise.
I tried entering the code provided and this was rejected meaning the 25% off special offer was not special at all because it cost more!
I regularly order from your website and have never had such a bad experience, and this was particularly disappointing as the poster was intended as a present.
I have attached photos of the tax receipts given by the post office.
I hope that you will choose to rectify this situation by offering a refund, and if tax is applicable make it clear on the website please. Although I have never been taxed like this before when ordering from your website.

imprint on hoodie
I am extremely disappointed in the hoodie I ordered from you. I have ordered this particular design on a t-shirt before, and the colors were vibrant and beautiful. What you printed on the hoodie is awful, dull and pale, and the impression of the zipper can even be seen! Obviously you didn't bother to separate the front and back side before you went to print, and the result is totally unacceptable. I don't understand how you could send out product like this, and I'm sure the artist would not be pleased with this kind of representation. So unless I can be assured of receiving an excellent quality hoodie, I will have to ask for a refund rather than a replacement.

laptop skin / wrong size and glue residue
I ordered a laptop skin August 13, 2017, but I did not attempt to place the sticker on my laptop skin until recently due to needing to receive and set up my new laptop and then with me trying to get settled into college.

When I attempted to take the sticker off of its holder, it was near on impossible to remove to the point where I had to slightly damage the skin in order to remove it. Then, when I attempted to put the skin on my laptop, it did not fit at all. I purchased a skin for a 13 inch MacBook / Pro / Air because I have the newest 13 inch MacBook Pro with the touch bar. I have no idea why it did not fit. It was only too big by a small amount but enough to where it hung over the edges of the laptop, and I could not put a case on it.
To make matters worse, when I tried to remove the skin, it left behind a large amount of glue residue that was almost impossible to remove. This resulted in scratches and staining on my laptop as well. My 35 dollar speck case also got glue residue on it, and I still cannot get the glue off of it, so, due to me not wanting to get more glue on my laptop, I cannot use the case, making it useless and a waste of money.
Now, I am afraid to put the iPhone skin I also purchased on my phone because I am unsure if it will do the same thing.
I'd like to have at least a refund. I do not know if I should get a replacement because I do not know if the new skin will do the same thing nor if they even sell one in the right size for my laptop.

I received a Samsung case that I ordered and very upset with its quality. I thought for the amount of money I paid it should have looked nice at least. It cost me fifty dollars. And it's absolutely useless. My phone broke because what I bought didn't protect it whatsoever. So I would strongly recommend you to buy stuff from other stores with many reviews about good quality. Society6 may be your biggest disappointment online. Be aware.
won't allow me to process a refund - scammers!
I keep trying to process a refund, I go into my account and hit the 'submit refund request' button but this just takes me a form, which then sends me an email telling me how to request a refund. It's completely circular. At no point does this process allow me to talk to someone on the customer service team. They have no number or email address listed on their website, just a bogus contact form which sends you useless emails. I feel like I have been scammed. I spent a lot of money on their site, their products are way overpriced for the quality, even with the constant 20% off codes and free shipping, it's just a gimmick.
Just to note I'm not blaming the artists, there are some awesome designs which is why I was drawn to the site in the first place. They need much better customer service. Not impressed at all society6.

I am starting to believe that the customer service is non existent. I had a problem with the replacement and so I sent in a request to get help. The help center says that they will get back to you within 8 hours. I have sent in 6 requests now and they have not answered me once. If you reload the page, the request disappears and it is impossible to get back to it, so you have to make a new one. So not only did the package I ordered on June 22, worth $150, not arrive, I cannot get the money back either.
blankets, one duvet style, one soft
I washed a blanket I bought from Society6 recently, which I had purchased around Christmas. The blanket transferred color onto itself and everything else in the load, and the filling became crackly and malformed. I did not have the washer or dryer on high and am very disappointed that I could not wash the product without ruining it. I would like to know what you could do for me because now my duvet style blanket is uncomfortable and miscoloured and my smaller blanket (also purchased from you) is stained as well.

Can't put order through
I am trying to buy over $700 in art and it won't let me. I don't understand why it won't explain anything. I have taken a picture of it to show you and can email it to you as soon as possible.
I tried to use my visa debit card at first and it gave me this message. Then I went out, paid nearly $20 to purchase a pre-paid MasterCard. I put $735 CAD on the card and activated it... the same thing happened.
I am trying to re-do my room and this is getting very frustrating. I hope you are able to help me!

Ordered product, just like previous year, weeks in advance for Christmas. Told me it would be here way before. Last year I recieved in February. This year just received today. When I tried contacting, password was no good, then email was no good haha, cannot contact them at all. The invoice has no order number at all. Need to exchange a printed t-shirt, company's online contact form doesn't work
I ordered a printed t-shirt from Society6. The sizing of the item is really big and boxy compared with the photo in their online store, so I want to exchange it for a smaller size. The order number is [protected].
I've tried using the company's online contact form repeatedly with no success. When I click "submit" it just reloads the same form again with all the fields blank. I tried calling the company using the number listed here on Complaints Board, and got a message saying they don't offer phone support. Wasting a lot of time on this...
One shirt was missing and the other one was dirty!
Have ordered two white t-shirts from Society6 website and received only one shirt. They promised to send me another one and I'm still waiting for it. I want to tell about the one I did receive. Well, quality was not bad but my shirt was all covered with yellow stains and smelled funny. I wanted to send it back but was told that they don't do refunds or exchanges. They said that the missing shirt was their mistake and that's why they made an exception. I asked them so what I was supposed to do with the dirty one and they recommended me to wash it! What? This company is beyond ridiculous. Not to mention that they promised to send me the second shirt three weeks ago and still nothing!
They haven't changed the wrong item
I bought one item from www.society6.com, but it was wrong and I returned to the website. I told them that it was wrong and I needed new one. As well as I was ready to pay for the return postage, but the seller told me not to bother and promised to ship another item today. But it was so scam and I of course didn’t get the order. The team was unprofessional and they knew nothing about my order, when I contacted the support team. It was really unpleasant and doesn’t worth it to deal with these people.
