original king steer burger
I went to buy supper for me and my wife tonight 16 may and ordered a original king steer burger, a normal steers burger with large chips and two milkshakes, when I got home and after taking two bites out of my king steer burger I noticed the green mif at the bottom of the bun, now this is one of the disgusting experience ever, how can u serve a customer something that is miffed ?

I placed a order for food with steers white river @6pm. I was called at 6:20 to inform me my good is on the way. @6:50 I called to inquire where my Delivery was. It then arrived at 7pm ice cold with no cooldrinks. I was told that they will bring the cooldrinks now to me. This only arrived at 7:50 after I had to call again. There is no seriousness with client care here. After a complaint I still had to wait 50 min for my cooldrinks. I will be going to the papers so that everyone in White river can see that steers does not care about there clients.
very very poor service
I was at Chatsworth (unit 5) steers yesterday and order 2 X Wacky Wednesday burgers and a medium portion chip, I order around 7h40 and was made to wait until 8h 43 (a hour) for my order.
I was not the only customer which was waiting for this time period.
When some of the people question the manager, he responded very rude to us the paying customers, and told us if we got complaints we should contact the call center.
They was only using one burner for the burger and one for the chicken even though it was clear they needed to use the other burner as well.
The manager is a rude man who should be sent to customer service school.
This is the first and last time I will be using this store where fast food clearly means one must sit and wait because it is a special.
I have be a fan of steers but this store has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I placed an order at 13:20 at the Steers in Gandhi Square on the 03/04/2017. I was advised that my order will take 30 minutes to be delivered. I called at 14:10 and was informed that my order was on its way. Its now 14:25 and still no delivery. This sort of service is unacceptable. I request a full refund and the owner of that steers to call me. i do not want the manager to call me. [protected]

I so disappointed in the service received from Steers, I placed an order at 11 for 12:30 and I still haven't received my order its 1 already and no one has called to lemme know the order will be late. So I called the store and all they say is that the driver has left already. Why was my order accepted by the store if they don't want to deliver on time as this is not the first time I'm ordering from the same store it doesn't take 30 minutes for a delivery and then I ask the driver why he was late and he says he doesn't know, is this the service steers gives clients?

Placed an Order at 11h37, phoned them at 12h45, put me through to Manager without even asking what my order details is, but there was no answer and I had to phone again. When I phoned again, there was no answer. 13h30 I phoned again and the lady said she will talk to the manager about my order and phone me right back - never received the call. When the driver finally pitched with my order, the order time on receipt was for 13h30. I sent him back - no call until now to apologize for the pathetic service or even to give a reason for this delay. Very unhappy with them - I did not have anything to eat the whole day :-(

Hi my name is Lloyd and I took my family to steers gateway on the 14 February 2017 .I went to steers and ordered a double rack and chips with three cokes and one greek salad, the lady who took my order was very polite, I took my buzzer and went to sit down, the buzzer rang and I went to collect my food .The lady there was rude and gave memy order when I asked for the salad dressing she said to me we don't have but take the cap of the coke and put 1000 island sauce on it, I was shocked, then I needed to put sauce on my chips but she said we dont have any other sauce except 1000 island sauce so I opened my order and put the sauce in, she said to more so I packed it away and then I asked for the staws she threw them on the counter .I then went to eat only to find that the bibs weren't cooked properly .I was upset by then so we cleared up and left.it was avery upsetting experience.

This is the second time that I call to place and order... To be kept on the line while the incompetent staff take up to fifteen minutes to digest the exact order and twenty minutes after you receive a call from the branch saying that they cannot deliver due to the value of the goods, this after it was confirmed before hanging up. I then ring the branch direct and they advise they the order needs to be placed again... Another eight minutes on the line only for the food to arrive and not what I had requested. This is extremely frustrating.

As a former employee of a specific branch, I know how extremely important it is to have food prepared when the doors open. This however, is not the case at steers de bood stellenbosch.
All I wanted was chips, but I was told they are still making it. That was at 11am on 28 july 2016.
When I was told this, I walked out and opted for mcdonalds chips.
What if I had been a mystery customer? I wouldve failed the store. I was given no appology, no indication of when anything will be ready and the cashier was slow and unproffesional.
Please adhere to this.
cold food delivered
A call was made to Steers Montecasino for an order for delivery. After over 30 minutes and no food another call was made to Steers, I was informed that the delivery details were taken down incorrectly. I asked the person on the phone to make sure the food is hot when it arrives as it was not my fault the wrong delivery details were written down. I was promised the food would arrive hot. 10 minutes later the order arrived, I was informed that the food was hot. The food was given to me ice cold. After insisting that I want hot food the staff laughed at me and left. I do not appreciate this and will never buy from Steers again.
fishy smelling food and small portions
Went to steers at Emporors Palace. Had a problem with my food. Put in a complaint about my food that smelled fishy and the fact that the 2 meals was no value for money. Representative contacted me and said he will investigate. He came back saying sorry could not find anything wrong and apologised for my bad experience. I was offered 3 cones as a "good gesture" for my bad experience. Will definitely not purchase from any Steers again! Absolutely no value for money and when you complain about their food they offer you a R5 ice cream. Don't even bother to complain!

After ordering, and awaiting a table to be seated at, standing at the door for 20 mins, whilst others sitting at the tables having meetings, whilst being paying customers of an ice cream cone, sitting on their phones and so on, then i go to the cashier to ask him to change my order to a take away, as these people wouldnt just move, maybe it was the airconditioning, waited another 15 mins, and still to no avail, im standing and waiting, went back to the cashier, only to be told, i must wait for another 15 mins..
Ive been a steers customer for years on now at the durban stores, but this experience at the Umtata Plaza branch is really pathetic, recieved the wrong order after another 18 mins, and being in my car en route Durban, i wasnt to turn back.

The Streers employee named Penny is based at Goldman Crossing Steers. She is the most unfriendly, unmannerly person I have dealt with. I have been to this Steers branch on 3 occasions and each time is the same experience - bad customer service. I have been there twice during an evening service and put the experience down to them being busy. Yesterday (Sunday), I again visited Steers. This time, my husband and I were the only customers there. We walked in as she was filling the ice cream machine. We greeted her and asked if they have ice cream. She looked at us, didn't acknowledge us or our question and turned back to complete her task. The telephone rang, she then answered the phone and took the telephonic order - still no concern for us standing in front of her. Eventually she attended to us and then managed to get the order wrong - twice! Customer Service is very important especially in the industry she is in. To the owner of Goldman Crossing Steers - if you don't give Penny training, coaching or move her from the front service, you are going to loose many customers - I certainly will not go back to your shop.
disgusting slow service
I had to think twice about buying at Steers today because i know theyre are the slowest food outlet in the mall, I work at the Pavilion Mall and enjoy Steers ribs but today decided to buy something else hoping it would be quicker than the usual 30 minute wait. A Hero roll with fries was ordered at 14:21 and just hoped they would prove me wrong. My suspisions were true, I stood up and went to ask the girl where is my order and only then did she presume to fry the potatoes! Are you kidding me? Of all the chatter those girls do there is nothing constructive that they say or do. I blame the manager as he is the one who made them like this! There was no queue I WAS LITERALY THE ONLY PERSON BUYING. I cancelled the order at 15:00 took my money and went back to work. We need to see change its clear the Pavilion Steers staff dont get the term Fast Food too well. Fed up
bad hygiene and raw burger
Disgusting service. The new steers in muizenberg at the engen is A joke. we ordered 2 King Steer combos, I received my slip to see that only 1 king steer was ordered.. I then give her my card to pay for the 2nd king steer which she failed to order after i was clear about my order the first Time. The card machine was saying processing and she kept pulling my card out and putting it back in several times, I was tempted to do it myself because she was obviously useless at her job but i kept my cool. I'm now waiting for my food and I look into the kitchen to see one of the chefs handling my burger with her bare hands not wearing any Gloves. I then ask the manager, who is wearing a hair net that is not on properly and is basically half off his head, If he could please instruct the lady handling our burgers to please put gloves on. He goes into thekitchen and asks her to put gloves on, she puts up an argument with him and after about 5 minutes she accepts to put the gloves on. Wishing I had never stepped foot into this place while i look around to see old fries lying all over the floor.. after waiting a solid 30 minutes we get asked what cool drink we would like when we had already asked for coke lights, she gives us one coke light 500ml bottle and one coke light can. I then had to explain to her that both meals are supposed to have 500ml cokes. She then stared at the menu to work out that the meals should have 500ml bottles of coke. We finally received our meals. other customers were getting impatient. Happy to Be out of that place we get home about 5 minutes after (we live in muizenberg) to find that our chips are cold so I have to warm it up in the microwave . Starving at this point I bite into my burger to see that the patty Is completely raw. I open the bun and the patty is not even in one Peice.. I lose my appetite completely and go to bed . I have never been so disappointed in a fast food Chain. Especially steers as it Is not cheap you would think you'd be getting quality. why are staff not trained Properly? I have pictures as Evidence.
Im so discipointed in steers Muizenberg. They open at 9 and ive asked my partner to stop off to get us something to eat. We were then informed that even though though they open at 9 we must wait untill 9h45 till when they are ready to serve. The service is just disgusting. To the owners of steers, your staff is messing with your income and busy running your business into the ground. If your operating time says 9am ypur staff mustn't walk in at 9. They must be ready to serve at 9 just a suggestion .
spare ribs
I bought a single rack of spare ribs with chips today 4 December 2015 at Phalaborwa Masorini Branch. There was nothing wrong with the service at that branch. What a disappointment when I got home to find 6 little ribs with hardly any meat on it (only about a table spoon of meat) and so chewy one needs to be careful not to break one's teeth. Just bone and hardly any meat. And the best of all the photographs on the menus show this huge spare rib draped on a plate that looks big enough to feed more than one mouth. This is daylight robbery at it's worst. Shame on you Steers. I will not ever buy anything from Steers again and I'll make sure my friends will be told of this.
cheesy chilli chips
I must admit that the cheesy chilly chips is one of my favourite indulgence's I always order that no matter what else I buy, But, I will that Queenstown cheesy chilly chips are the worse I travel a lot to east london and you always get a generous amount cheese with the chilly but, in Queenstown if you get more than a table spoon of cheese and chilly that looks like a goat walked over them... disgusting guys please improve or take more pride in your product... this was on the 27th of november 2015... portia - cashier at steers evandor
Went to buy food at Steers Evandor and was served by a Portia. Extremely ruse and no form of customer service ettiquette. The take away came and we decided to sit in, she was not very impressed that we are not asking for plates. Comes the cold food and when she was asked why it's cold she just said that's the way they serve their food. No I would love to understand whats the difference between Steers Glenfair and Steers Evandor, is this then not the same brand. Mr. CEO, look at your employees, they are damaging your brand that you have been building for so long.
