customer service
I reserved a strawberry cheese cake to be picked up on Christmas Eve. After working 13 hours I arrived to picked up my cake as scheduled only to be told it wasn't ready. I asked the lady working at the bakery what was the point of reserving one and setting a time if it wasn't going to be ready when I arrived. She proceeded to get an attitude and I watched as serval other cakes where made as I waited. I started to become upset so I ask if I could just have a refund, and even that took a while even though I paid with cash. When I left I called back to speak to a manager and she was no different and very little help. She gave me excuse after excuse nor of which pertained to me or the situation at hand. All in all I eat at the Cheese Cake Factory at least once a month if not more and I've tried several location but I always have a bad experience when I visit this location. I firmly live by the saying you can't be rude and wrong.
bad service from customer service
On December 19th which was my 55th Birthday. My Family decided to bring me to your Restaurant since I have never been before. Upon our arrive it started off with the wait being like an 1 1/2. Once we were seated our waiter wasn't friendly at all. He didn't go over the menu at all to tell us anything new or any type of recommendations. He then took our drink orders after we had waited on him about 15 - 20 minis. After he seated us. Then 30 minutes after that he took our main order after about 45 minutes tail an hour our food started coming out. My son order Shrimp and fries and it came out fries cold and the shrimp was lukewarm he started eating because he was hungry but then realized all of it wasn't hot. My husband had ordered a burger well done and it came out completely Black. Then the waiter let me know that it was a problem with my food so I had to wait even longer on my food plus my husband as well. I was so upset and disappointed I didn't know what to do. My son did talk with one of the managers on duty and he took my son's order off but that didn't help him because he left from their hungry and unsatisfied. Most importantly they took the waiter as soon we arrived that it was my 55th birthday and they would like it if they could sing to me. He told him okay but when we were ready to leave he said no. So my family had gotten very upset that he had said that they don't do the birthday strawberry cheesecake free either and we know that's not true. So please try and help me with this it's really sad that I didn't even get my cheesecake. Thank You Mrs. Carmen Tipps [protected] [protected]@gmail.com
manager cristal reade
As I arrived to the Cheesecake Factory in San Jose, Ca I approached the host to take my name so I can be seated. She automatically told me there was a 30/40 minute wait and I told her it was fine. She handed me a pager and I sat down. I then started noticing no one else had pagers and more people were coming in and she wasn't handing the pager to them neither. I asked to speak to a manager, and spoke to Cristal Reade. I mentioned to the floor manager how I felt discriminated and how other guest were being seated first with a same size party as mine. She neglected my concern and even told me, " To Let Her Speak." Not once did I interrupt. I sat down and waited with my three children as I continued to see other guest being seated as they arrived after me. Little did the manager know that my husband was standing next to the host table and over heard her tell the host " that I was an over dramatic customer." I was astonished of how poor the management was. What happened to hospitality and being curtious to people?
I experienced the same treatment at the
Bridgewater New Jersey restaurant .
restaurant service
I went out to dinner tonight at the cheese cake factory in the newport mall. First the server brought us a broken to go cup for one of the children and the milk got all over. Second the server tried to impress us by not writing down our orders, well he got my brothers order all wrong and his meal didn't even come out until we were all finished eating. Throughout the meal our server didn't check on us, our appetizer plates just sat there taking up all the room while they brought out our entrees and didn't even take the spare plates. No drink refills. Kids food was not even warm. Rice was hard and so was the bacon. Overall the experience was poor. Especially since 3 people at our fable have been in the service industry for over 10 years. Worse part the server didn't even bring the manager over to us to apologize, it felt like the server avoided our table after being embarrassed he made a mistake. I don't think any of us will be returning.
Did you ask for the manager to come over? Typically they do not visit a table unless it is requested.
service at hackensack
Good evening,
This is my second time dining at the location. The first time my friend ordered the chicken Madeira which was burnt. The restaurant apologized and made a new one for her to take home, which was nice but didn't help us during our dining experience. Still since we enjoy the food and generally get good service, we returned on saturday, November 25. The waiter seemed to disappear and it took over 35 minutes for our main courses to arrive. He people next to us received their food before we did despite ordering after us. When we requested a manager, it took 10 minutes for her to come to our table. She explained she was checking on our food and that "every item takes different amount of time to cook" as a way of explaining why those around us got their food first. She was nasty and said food is supposed to take 25 minutes and was overly dismissive, remembering and calling me out for the chicken Madeira incident last time. She was not apologetic and overly rude. This is not anything like what I experienced at other restaurants. I am appalled by both the waiter disappearance, then bringing other guests their food followed by the managers complete and utter disregard for customer service. I can't return to this location. As good as the food is, i don't want to continually have negative experiences at this specific location.
incorrect bill
Went to the Cheesecake Factory in Lake Grove, NY on 11/6/17 by Smithaven Mall.
My sister, myself and my 5 year old grandson...
I ordered the nachos for my grandson and 2 skinny burgers for my sister and I...
Received the bill, paid it, left a tip...
Next day I looked at the bill and seen that I was charge for 3 skinny burgers, not 2. Not sure what to do?
Thank You,
Cathy Rhein

marlon j aristone general manager
Dear CF,
I had a very unfortunate experience at the north orlando location.
Before I'm a delivery driver, I'm a customer and a human being. I have a master degree in hospitality services, I have over 15 years experience in over 50 hotels and restaurants and I travel the world to teach and fix hospitality problems. Today I experienced an awful time and I got threats from the GM Marlon J Aristone. Wow this was something new for me, coming from a general manager.
So I arrive at the restaurant and approached the TO GO counter. I presented myself being from door dash and I showed her the order. She instantly realised that probably forgot to place the order or whatever was the situation, because she stopped smiling and very serious told me that will take about 20 minutes. Great, I said, and took a sit in the waiting area. When was about 20 minutes I bother the lady again asking if she has any updates and she said few more minutes. About 10 minutes later and 30 minutes from the time I arrived, I show up again to ask because I needed to know to contact customer support and let the customer know that will be a delay. Next to the lady was another gentleman who seemed to be very knowledgeable about customer service and both start being very irritated because I'm there to pick up my customer and their customer food. I mentioned that the food it was supposed to be ready or almost ready by the time of my arrival and not to wait 35 minutes and nobody is keeping me posted reading the waiting time. I requested a more accurate time and the gentleman left to find out ( he was kinda pissed what I observed). So now the lady is telling me that if I don't like it to don't do the delivery. "Excuse me, miss, but here has nothing to do with if I want or not and I don't understand why are you so irritated?" At this point I requested nicely to speak with a manager and she show me a smirk and said "sure" in a very sarcastic way. After 5 minutes a manager showed up and I described him same exact situation as here. At the moment I mentioned that " if you can not handle deliveries then do not do deliveries, nobody came to me to tell me the wait time or to be interested in this order at all", the manager got on fire and asked my name and threatened me that I will never do deliveries, he's gonna take care of that. I'm not sure he meant from there or in general. Now I nicely requested his name and business card and he order me to sit down or to leave! Slightly surprised about the authority and the whole situation, I walked away closer to the exit doors. A business, when has a problem and someone is bringing up that issue the manager or general manager in this case, should aknowleadge and do something about it. Not to be delusional and fight with the server at the door a.k.a. delivery person. In this restaurant it is a huge problem and after I've seen lots of other restaurants and TOGO services this one is not even close to 1 star. During my entire waiting what add up to 55 minutes nobody asked me if I would like a water, updates on the estimated time and a little more interest in the order because is their customer! Shame on the people, cheesecake factory, chooses to lead others. It wasn't conduct an ethical business at this location and I definitely not suggest or recommend this location until further management changes.
Best regards,
Andrei
lack of customer service
My family were at the cheesecake factory tonight celebrating 18th wedding anniversary with my 12 years old son and 15 years old daughter. After paying $108 for dinner we decided to get 3 slices of cheesecake on our way out. After paying $24(6:35pm) for 3 slices we had to wait more than 10 minutes before I went back to cashier to find out if my order is ready. Then she got really nasty and told me to wait longer because they're really busy and "it takes times to make them". So I asked her again "what do you mean you need more time to make them?". She said she needs more time to slice the cheesecake. I asked her you have 3 employees behind the counter doing nothing but talking to each other and matter of fact 1 was sweeping the floor. Then she called me "[censored]" . I was so shock to hear what she just called me in front of my son and daughter I asked to see store manager. When the manager came over I complained that cashier by the cheesecake takeout is very rude and unprofessional to customers. Not only this manager didn't do nothing but pretended he didn't understand what I was saying. Either cheesecake factory doesn't honor Asian customers or seriously lack of customers service. My family is been coming this location so many years we even talked about having my daughter's sweet 16 birthday party here. I'm so traumatized and humiliated in my wedding anniversary I'm still shaking as I'm writing this complaint. Not to mention employee who was sweeping the floor didn't even wash his hands before he handled my cheesecake.
wrongfully terminated
My Name Is Terrell Washington And I Was an Employee A Dishwasher At The Cheesecake Factory On 5015 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77056 In The Galleria Mall For Almost About 2 Years And I was Wrongfully Terminated Because I Walked Off The Job To Avoid Any Kind Of Argument Or Conflict And To Avoid losing My Job But I Was Still Terminated Anyways. OK First Off I Come To Work The Dishwasher Machine Is Broken And We Are Told To Wash The Dishes On Our Hand Okay For Me No Problem. I've Already Spoken With One Of My Kitchen Mangers And We've Gone Over Our Game Planning And I've Already Confirm With Him That I'm Gonna Start Knocking Off The Trash While Helping The Dishwasher's Kool Green Light Terrell Go.. Now The Elevator is Also Broken And The Trash is Backed Up Very High So Are The Dishes Now I'm Supposed To Be a Cleaner On This Day And Help The Dishwashers As The Day Go On So I Start off Work Getting My Trash And With All The Work To Do Like Always I Get Right To It Forgetting A Simple Little Thing Like Turning My Hat Around So Another Higher Position Kitchen Manger By The Name Of Mr Chewy Comes Up To Me As Moving Forward And Fast And Asked Me To Turn The Hat Forward I Do So As I'm Walking Away But He Still Comes After Me Saying I Told You.. Provoking Me To Get An Attitude Towards Him. I Got Very Mad because of the simple fact that with the dishwashing machines broke the dishes being backed up the trash being backed up elevator being broke all he can focus on is my hat not being forward nobody finds anything wrong with that
When you say "walked off, " do you mean stepped away into another area in the restaurant or actually left? If it's the latter then any employer would terminate you. Regardless, Texas is an at-will employment state which means they can terminate you for almost any reason without requiring cause.

everybody got their food first
Today, October 17, 2017 me and my family had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory in Greensboro, NC. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately due to the restaurant being almost empty. The waitress took our drink order; initially I ordered sweet tea but, decided I wanted a coke. It was over twenty minutes before she brought my coke or our bread. We actually received our appetizer before receiving the bread or my coke. The server told us a couple of times that the bread was coming out of the over. Well, if that bread was just out of the oven, they should get it checked bc it sure didn't melt any butter.
Next, I ordered the filet, my husband ordered he ribeye, my oldest daughter ordered a NY strip and my other daughter ordered pizza. Me and my oldest daughter ask if we could sub one of the vegetables for a salad. However, I was not told that there was a charge of nearly five dollars per salad to do so. I found this out after I got the check.
Back to the story, while we waited I figured I would run wash my hands. As I was getting up, two of the steaks came. I thought, "great, my food will be here when I get back". No such luck. I sat there over twenty minutes, everybody finished their meal. My steak came with a few green beans on the plate I was told by the manager that they were out of mashed potatoes. What is that? Anyway, I told him that I didn't want the steak, that I was not paying for it. He did take my steak off but, he should have comped the entire check due to the fact that they were out of mashed potatoes? My meal being meshed up, made for an unpleasant dinner for my family. So, I spent $102.00 plus $16.00 tip and I didn't even get a meal.
Very disappointing trip to one of my favorite restaurants. Guess I'll stick to the one in Charlotte, NC

server/ manager
After the 4 of us were seated we sat for 15 minutes and no server, we had to go to the front to ask for a server, within a few minutes a server arrives, takes our drink order, we also asked for silver ware and napkins did not ask if we would like a appetizer, When she came back with the drinks we ordered an appetizer ( Parm garlic cheese bread). And our main course We also asked for silver ware and napkins for 2 again, 30 minutes later No appetizer no silver ware Drinks are empty, No main course, no server. I went to the bar area to ask bartender for a manager she said sure and asked where we were seated I told her 15 min later no manager, so I went to the front and asked for a manager the staff had a hard time trying to find a manager, 10 min later a manager shows up I asked him to come to the table we were seated at so we could explain to him what was going on, he said the server was new and said he would get appetizer and meals out and he would take care of the issue, ok great I said, Appetizer came right out, followed by the meals. Manager came by asked how things were going, if everything was ok, answer was yes, Manager said he would comp the desert for all 4 of us after our meals, Server came back after meals we asked for a box for take home and told her mgr was comping us on desert for all 4 of us so she started to leave the table we told her to take our order for desert before she left because she has a habit of not coming back, 20 minutes goes by no server, no manager nothing, I asked the server for the table next to us to please get our deserts for us so she did, still our server has not come back. The server that brought our deserts also brought out a bill for us I asked her for the manager to come see me again, 10 minutes later he came to see me still our original server has never come back, I explained to the manager what was going on since the last time he had talked to us he said he was dealing with the server that was giving us bad service, I told him he needed to comp the entire bill for our party and he should have had another server for us while he was dealing with our original server, He did comp the entire bill. But what a mess and inconvenience all this was, The party next to us was experiencing the same issues so we told the manager to make sure they were taken care of as well who knows how that went. Our visit was 10/01/2017 time 19:46. Table 224. Server Michelle. Svrck 24. Greensboro nc
service
Tonight me and my family went to the cheesecake factory in RidgeHills, Yonkers... To celebrate my 1 month old Grandson and my sisters birthday dinner. It already took 2 1/2 hours to be seated. Once we were seated for about 10 Minutes in a busy area full of high traffic and we had a small baby in a carrier, a careless waiter walked by and droped a ton of silver ware in his face causing him to bleed and cry so we rushed him to take hospital were we are tonight to see if he will live etc.. This is the worst experience in the world and I will make sure everyone knows how you do not care about safety etc...
unlabeled artificial sweetener in the "thirtieth anniversary cheesecake"
A friend brought a "30th Anniversary" Cheesecake (that is the name of the product, not our gathering!) to a get-together last night. I am *highly allergic* to artificial sweeteners but did not expect those to be in a desert from a restaurant known for its sugar-based desserts - unless it was prominently labeled as such. I didn't think to ask to read the ingredients label last night and looking at the website today I find it will not divulge the ingredients per TCF's stated 'policy.' Found another website that claims this is a "Sugar Free" product, but NO WHERE did I see any such labels or stickers on it. I am having a bad reaction today and may have to go to the ER to resolve this. ALL FOOD should be LABELED with ALL Ingredients and a prominent "SUGAR FREE" Sticker to alert people to the use of CHEMICAL Sweeteners. This is a very common allergy - especially ASPARTAME - and is becoming more prevalent as more people develop this allergy. To not label clearly and obviously is to essentially try and poison people who have these food sensitivities. This is irresponsible Corporate behavior.
pasta napoletana
Came to table burnt black told server this should never have come out of kitchen,
Server had manager come over(Sean McKnight) he said this dish is supposed to be Carmelized I said it was beyond carmelized
It was burnt black. Sean said that's the way this dish is. I said they left it under the broiler
too long, Sean said they don't use broiler
for this dish. I am 64 I am not an idiot.
He is very condescending for a Assistant General Manager. I guess the customer is not always right! Extremely disappointed.
management/service
I would like to be contacted asap. Took me a couple weeks to even be contacted back by the manager about our terrible experience and the manager Sean McKnight said he would take care of what we got for our dinner with a gift card to come back and get a better server I just got my mail and felt like a slap in the face to get a $15 gift card knowing we got pasta da Vinci, BBQ ranch chicken salad, crab bites for app, and three different cheesecakes! (New celebration, banana, and Adams chocolate ). I walked out of the restaurant crying and only got a $15 gift card sent to me after I was told we would be taken care of? Not pleased with this location and management so far. I would like corporate to contact me back asap about this matter. And to not take weeks to reply again. Thanks. We paid more than $15 for our dessert let alone our meals that were messed up!
caramel cheesecake
I'm a HUGE fan of their delicious cheesecakes. On this one occasion, I actually got the wrong kind. I ordered 2 pieces of regular caramel cheesecake and got the salted caramel instead. I didn't even notice until I got home. This is an amazing place to eat but I got bummed when I got the wrong flavor. However; this is the first time I've ever had a complaint about the Cheesecake Factory and I'm a regular customer. I hope to get this complaint resolved if possible. 😀
cheesecake factory hackensack, nj
I am so sorry to tell you that we had a very terrible experience last night at the cheesecake factory in Hackensack New Jersey. I was supposed to be a special night as my daughter started high school and this was her place of choice. It started with the drinks we ordered I had to return my cosmopolitan which had some sort of a syrup in it which didnt belong to taste terrible. However our very nice waiter did not charge me and just sent me a Pinot Grigio that I had asked for .
I ordered the tuna tartare and a small salad which were both fine. My daughter ordered stuff mushrooms that you have it because they had too much cheese on them and were drenched in oil. She also ordered a French country salad which was not at a b she also ordered a French country salad which was not eatable -it was soaked in dressing and just tasted l and just tasted like onion. My son had the breaded chicken dish with spaghetti which was also very early and had too much cheese on it . Husband had to veggieburger what he said was not eatable.
With a bill of $120 including tip and us all waking up with bellyaches need list to say the whole experience was very very disappointing. We will not be rushing back any time soon or as my husband says never .
The place is this just recently renovated and changed locations and it's not the same I'm sorry to say .
service and food
I had hair in all my food. Plus my desert. I also ate some of the hair by accidentally and spit the rest out.. I had to wait hour and half on my food.. Still had hair in it.. They kept taking my food back.. Also the service from cook was bad and I got sick to my stomach from eat some hair. My experience for the first time was very horrible... All I can say I didn't like it and i'm very upset about the service.
cup of coffee price is outrageous.
Three of us recently had a very nice lunch at the Manila Park, New Jersey location. No complaints about the food-service was very good. We then each ordered a cup of coffee (which by the way wasen't very good). When the check came we were surprised by the price of the coffee--$3.50/cup--we thought perhaps an error so, we called our server over & questioned him & he said that was the price. We then asked to speak with the Manager--when he came over he told us that was the price at all the Cheesecake locations. Not a very good explanation--no "sorry" or I'll take off $3.50 nothing. Not good customer relations--I've gone to many other chain restaurants and the Manager always makes a gesture of some sort. Don't think we will be going to any more of your restaurants. Not only because of the price but, the way the Manager handled it.
