This place ain't the spot for fixin' up your ride
This place ain't the spot for fixin' up your ride... I'm hopin' y'all read this and steer clear at all costs. They told me it'd cost $483 to fix my car, and 'cause I needed it runnin', I paid up. The techie used a computer to check codes, but the service guy decided I didn't need to know 'bout all the parts required. They made that big decision for me. So now I gotta choose between payin' up or keepin' on drivin' a car that can't even register gas right. I reached out to Toyota Corporate 'cause the folks in charge here are a real piece of work. They take forever to call back, and when they finally do... what a waste of time. They only back up their techies (gotta keep that paycheck comin').
They got this rude, unprofessional Consumer Relations Manager named Bronwyn ***, who don't know the first thing 'bout carin' for customers. I explained in detail all the mistakes the service guy made in figurin' out what parts my car needed, and she just didn't give a damn. At the end, she said, "I'm done talkin' about this."
I ain't ever comin' back here, that's for sure. I'm gonna make sure everyone knows to stay far away from this joint. I'd love to see 'em shut down for good.

I bought a broken Toyota batter from Toyota South Atlanta and they wouldn't check it when I returned it
I bought a broken Toyota batter from Toyota South Atlanta and they wouldn't check it when I returned it. They also wouldn't give me a refund because I had to go elsewhere for a new battery. I complained to Toyota customer relations, but they've been avoiding me and no one has reached out to fix the problem!
I got a contest game play in the mail that says I won $25,000.00, but the dealership won't confirm over the phone if it's true or just a trick
I got a contest game play in the mail that says I won $25,000.00, but the dealership won't confirm over the phone if it's true or just a trick to get me to their dealership. The manager hung up on me twice, and was really rude. I want to know beforehand if this is a real winning ticket or not. Please check out the pictures that say BAGS+BAGS=WIN LIFT TABS TO PLAY MATCH TO WIN HOW TO PLAY LIFT ALL TABS ON YOUR GAME CARD IF YOU HAVE A MATCHING PAIR, YOU WIN. (Please see pics)
Took my 2018 Toyota Tundra in for its 20k service
Took my 2018 Toyota Tundra in for its 20k service. The truck only had a little over 20k on the hub. So my problem is, how can a customer tell you what they're in for and in return, I get a bill for $600.00 plus. That's not the kind of service I'm accustomed to having. Keep in mind, this is not my first Toyota truck. I'm working on truck number 5, so if that tells you something. My advisor was Rocky at customer service and green on doing his job. I've had better experiences in Texas than I did at Toyota of South Atlanta. If I had to rate this dealership, they would get a big fat 1 for poor customer service.

On April 13, 2022, 'round 8:30 am, I started usin' my brakes to switch lanes, but dang it, the brakes didn't budge
On April 13, 2022, 'round 8:30 am, I started usin' my brakes to switch lanes, but dang it, the brakes didn't budge. Right away, the words "low brake power" popped up on the screen, tellin' me to pull over pronto. After doin' my own research, turns out there was a recall on the car's brake system for the exact same dang problem I was havin'. So, I had to get the car towed to the dealership, only to find out they didn't have a fix for it or didn't know how to fix it. Ain't my job to help 'em find a solution, 'cause that's somethin' Toyota should've done. They did offer me a rental car, but they wanted a $200 deposit. Now, I use my car for rideshare, so a rental ain't gonna cut it for me. Toyota done messed up big time, 'cause they've seriously messed with my ability to make a livin', and all they see is another way to squeeze more money outta me.
I'm writing to say how disappointed I am with this place
I'm writing to say how disappointed I am with this place. I came here to fix my mom's car and put down a deposit for a rental. Ms said they would give back any extra money on the card I gave them, but that didn't happen. Ms *'s assistant said they owe me money and would send a check for the refund. Then Ms said they put the money on the service ***. I feel so scammed by this company. They should've given me back the deposit like they promised. They didn't meet my expectations and I feel like they stole my money. I honestly think Ms is just playing around. I question her morals and how she runs the rental counter. I'll never rent a car from this place again, ever.
I bought a brand new 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5 in May
I bought a brand new 2020 Toyota Tacoma SR5 in May . They didn't tell me at the time of purchase that the vehicle was actually a show car with 4600 miles on it. After buying the truck, I couldn't take it home right away because the hood was damaged and needed to be fixed. Unfortunately, I had to bring it back twice because the repairs were not done correctly. Two days later, the service light came on, indicating that an oil change was needed. I didn't think much of it until February when I was giving my girlfriend an extra key and noticed that the key tag said "used truck." I went back to the dealership to get to the bottom of this, and the sales representative assured me that the truck was sold as new and had a new vehicle warranty. I spoke to the sales manager, who said that someone must have mistakenly labeled the key and offered to write me a replacement tag that says "new." This is completely unacceptable. My family has purchased three new vehicles from this dealership since 2002, but we will not be returning.
I went to Toyota South Atlanta to buy a car
I went to Toyota South Atlanta to buy a car. When I got there, Joe greeted me and I waited with him until my grandmother arrived. Once she got there, we went through the usual car-buying process, but instead of being able to see the car, I was basically convinced to buy it without seeing it. Trustingly, I left in a loaner car. The next day, when I came back to pick up my car, Joe was really surprised because he had said he would call me before I left the previous day, but he didn't. I ended up waiting for a total of 6 hours that day, only to not be able to leave in my car once again.
The following day, my grandmother went to the dealership and Joe told her it would be ready in an hour, but I didn't receive any notification about it. When I went to pick up my car after taking off work for the third day and waiting all day, Joe wasn't there to give me my keys. Instead, a random associate did it because Joe had left.
Now, all of a sudden, they're saying my grandmother's documents are fraudulent and they want to take the car back. The problem is, I had already sold my other car.
Incorrect and misrepresented contract
Incorrect and misrepresented contract. I bought my car from Toyota South in 2018 and recently discovered a problem with the $799.00 maintenance agreement I was sold. The agreement was supposed to cover free oil changes and tire rotations for the "life of the car," but it turns out it only lasts for 4 years or 50,000 miles. This information was not properly explained to me by William ***, who was working for a company I trusted. To make matters worse, the agreement started on the day I purchased the car, instead of two years later when the initial free maintenance was supposed to end. William *** also failed to inform me about the initial free maintenance. As a young woman, I felt belittled by William ***'s condescending and sexist attitude, which pressured me into signing a contract I wasn't comfortable with. I reached out to Dale Allen to address this issue, but he didn't provide any help or correct the contract. He promised to call me back after speaking with his boss, but I never received a call. I tried calling twice over the next two weeks and left messages, but my calls were never returned. After contacting Toyota Corporate, I was contacted by the customer relations manager from this company. However, she hadn't even read the contract before calling me, so she was unaware of the mistake on the paperwork. When I tried to explain the situation, she rudely told me to "learn how to read" and abruptly ended the call.
Atlanta Toyota South told me to come and buy a car without any money down
Atlanta Toyota South told me to come and buy a car without any money down. They charged me for a credit application and said it was a cash payment of around $2500. They promised me a car with a 90-day guarantee, a refund, and additional features like GPS, Sirius radio XM, and a tracker. However, the 2019 Toyota Highlander they gave me was not as they described. Throughout the contract, they breached the agreement by running my credit for a cash transaction and selling me a faulty car. I reported this to Toyota Corporation multiple times with claim numbers. I also informed Atlanta Toyota South about the car being a lemon. They gave me a check and promised service, but then wanted to run my background again after giving me a lemon. The dealership still has my vehicle and has not responded to my emails or the owner/GM. Please help me get the money owed to me by the dealership and a new truck as stated in the agreement. My car was declared a lemon by the dealership and a third party. Please settle this soon. You can reach me at any time at ***.

Transaction DATE: 16 December 2022 *** Consumer Alert *** Bad business practices by Toyota South Atlanta, ***. Morrow, . ***. PLEASE READ TWICE,,,,, especially the Ladies *** Ladies, I'm not saying that you are not capable, but please get the Loving male figure in your life that knows about automobiles to check for any services that your vehicle may need. That being said,,, I went to the above Dealer {with an appointment} and still waited 1 hour & 40 minutes for a simple oil change. After receiving my vehicle back, I drove off from the service area. Now I do what I normally do,, check the oil filter myself,, and lo and behold, the same filter that I had placed a *** on,, was still on my vehicle & the oil was overfilled by {1} whole quart of oil. {see picture} that could have caused major damage to my vehicle. After bringing this to the attention of the Service Manager {***}, he offered no apology {SAD} and said he would correct it. So I told him that, that would be fine as long as I could see it with my own eyes. So I went into the service bay to observe the correction & as you can see {in the attached picture},, during draining the old bad oil from my car,,, that the 5-quart oil container is completely full and the bottom of the container itself is covered by about 2-3 inches of old bad oil from the bottom,,, the mechanic had put {1} quart of clean oil on top of 5 quarts of old bad oil. *** Again *** Please be aware of the efforts of the maintenance department @ the above to UP-SALE you for maintenance that you do not need and an inferior service provider. On 4/8/22 my car got towed to Toyota South Atlanta because of a slipping, thumping, knocking noise from the transmission
On 4/8/22 my car got towed to Toyota South Atlanta because of a slipping, thumping, knocking noise from the transmission. On 4/19/22, Service Tech *** called and said my axle shaft seal needed replacing. They claimed to have done a thorough check that led to the leak. *** Warranty paid for 75% of the repairs, and I paid 25%. When I picked up my car around 5:30pm on 4/9, after driving it for 20 miles, the same issue I brought it in for started again. On 4/11, I brought the car back to explain that the problems were not fixed. *** helped me after Ms. from the *** Managers directed me to him. I insisted on a technician test driving with me in the car. The technician who fixed the seal drove around a confined parking lot to listen for the noise. I told him the car needed to be on the road. Then I asked to drive and drove the car on the side street of Toyota. That's when the technician heard and felt the noise. He said I needed a new transmission. I asked if he test drove the car on Saturday, and he said yes, in the parking lot. That's not considered an accurate diagnostic. A claim was initiated but declined because Toyota failed to top off the transmission fluid when they fixed the leak on 4/9. *** said transmission fluid wasn't charged on the invoice, and Toyota has no record of replacing the fluids after fixing the leak. I've tried to contact the Director of Service *** but Ms. the receptionist and *** have ignored my request. I've been put on hold for over 30 minutes, and when I asked to be connected to *** voicemail, I was put on hold again without getting the voicemail. I've also left verbal and email messages through the website. No one has contacted me, even after the claim was denied. At this point, the responsibility lies with Toyota. I'm requesting Toyota to replace my transmission.
In May, I took my car to Toyota South Atlanta to get my tire checked due to a slow leak
In May, I took my car to Toyota South Atlanta to get my tire checked due to a slow leak. I bought the tires from them about a year ago. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning at 7:20. I arrived on time, checked in my car, and told my Service Advisor, Ali Diop, that I would leave it there. He said it might take an hour or an hour and a half, and I told him to call me when it was ready. I left and ran a few errands. Around 10:30, I called to speak with Ali, but they said he wasn't available and would call me back later. I didn't receive any call by 11:30, so I had my friend drop me off at the dealership, assuming my car was ready. When I got there, I saw Ali and he informed me that my car wasn't ready yet because the lugs on my tire were swollen. It took them a while to remove the tires and check them, but they finally managed to do it, and my car would be ready within an hour. So I waited at the dealership for another hour. My car was parked on the side of the building, backed in, while the other cars were pulled in. I didn't pay much attention to it at the time, I just got in my car and went home. My car stayed parked until Monday when I went to work. When I got to my car, I noticed a scratch on the front and my headlight was pushed in. I immediately called the dealership to report it. I asked for Ali, but he wasn't available. I spoke with his supervisor, Justin, who said they would need to review the recordings to confirm if the damage happened there. He mentioned it might take a few days, but he would call me back once they finished reviewing the recordings. Three days later, on Thursday, I called again to speak with Justin, but he wasn't available. He texted me 10 minutes later, saying it was taking longer than expected. He also requested pictures of the damage, so I sent him several pictures. Another week went by, and I still hadn't heard anything from Justin. So I texted him again, asking for an update. He replied that they were still waiting for the recordings. I asked for his boss's name and the number for their corporate office. I called back and left a message for the Store Manager, ***, but he hasn't returned my call, text, or email. In July, feeling like I had no other option, I shared my experience on Facebook. The Store Manager, ***, responded on Facebook, confirming that the damage did occur on their lot. They weren't sure if it happened during the service or when they brought the car back to the front, but he asked me to call him to resolve the issue. I called and left messages, but I haven't received a response. I have been getting my cars serviced at this location for many years, so you can imagine how disappointed I am that they are disregarding me and my concern so carelessly. I'm also disappointed because now I have to find another dealership to service my car since I definitely won't be going back to them! Additionally, while going through my trunk, I noticed a half-opened tire lock pack that was just thrown in there. It seems they had to change the tire lock, but no one informed me about it. So if I had needed to change my tire or do any other tire-related service, I wouldn't have known where to find the key or the rest of the pack!
