Travelocity Refund PNR J7ZSCV

We have booked through your portal asking for a refund for the flight that was cancelled which we werent advise. Please know that we're still waiting for an update. We have been told that this needs to be coordinated with Go First Airlines however we have booked through a third party company. Shouldn't we get at least an assistance from your end?

This is really inconvenient that we have been passed on from one person to another. We had to rebook another flight that is out of our budget. Please! Let us know. Thank you

Desired outcome: Refund - compensation

Travelocity I would like a check for $200 mailed to my address to partially compensate me for the 1.75 hours I spent with customer service,

Travelocity has emailed me reminding me to use an expiring flight credit worth $936.78.

This evening, I attempted to use the credit to book a round-trip trip for two from Minneapolis to Denver. After several tries, I submitted the reservation request, including giving my credit card information to cover the extra cost of $297.62.

In my browser, I saw a message reading "Thank you! Your trip is booked.l Travelocity itinerary number [protected]. You'll receive a confirmation email shortly at [protected]@gmail.com."

When I did not receive the confirmation email after several minutes, I became worried and called the customer service line at [protected]. Then began a call lasting more than 1.5 hours with a customer service representative named (sp?) Harily.

I was put on hold numerous times. At one point, I was told that the transaction did not go through and I should resubmit it. When I returned to the website to do so, my $900+ credit no longer showed. I then asked Harily to complete the reservation for me. She started to do so, and then reported that the return flight I had booked was no longer available.

At this point, I became very unhappy. I had apparently booked the flight much earlier, perhaps booking the last two seats. Thanks to the problems with the software and the inept customer service, I was now at risk of losing the reservation I specifically wanted. Worse, I had no confidence my credit would be restored to me.

After 1 hour and 45 minutes, I was told that my tickets had "expired" and that is why I was unable to book flights using the credit. This makes little sense, as the repeated emails from Travelocity have said I have until 12/31/23 to use the credit. The story was then that I need to contact the airline (Delta) to request new tickets using the credit.

This service from the company was incredibly poor:

1) If the tickets have "expired" the email should say so and direct me to the airline, rather than telling me to contact Travelocity.

2) If Travelocity can't "find the tickets" as I was told after about an hour, they should have immediately promised me a call back from a supervisor, rather than make me wait on the phone for much of my evening.

Desired outcome: about 80% of the time on hold. No, I will not accept Travelocity credit.

Travelocity Car rental charges

I reserved a car in Boston Logan Airport via Travelocity for a week. Travelocity picked for me Budget the worst company in Boston. Travelocity charged $576.33 on 8/12/2022 in advance to my Master Card ending 1609. Surprisingly, Budget also charged $219.15 on 8/25. Then the saga continued at the Rental Car counter. The line was very long, estimated 100 or more people waiting. After about 40 minutes, I previously sent Budget all kind of information and she typed again the reservation had on line. The car had many signs of accident damage. Bumpers were loose twisted and the car had scratches everywhere. It had many large spots of bird feces on the top and sides. Inside of the car I found the previous renter's contract, many pieces on napkins, a bottle of alcoholic beverage and dirt. The gasoline level was 3/4 full. I have pictures to document all of this. Nobody was around to give me a different vehicle. I decided to drive the vehicle and drove to the exit gate since I was late due to the wait at the counter. The person at the exit gave me a pink slip stating scratches damage. He said bring back the car 3/4 full of gas...! I was told to go back to the counter to complain but I had to go because I was already late. He was visibly upset because I was complaining...

I used the car driving through tolls twice but charged over $219 It seems that Travelocity and Budget are Third World rental companies renting a dirty wreck charging 100 times more to go through tolls. I will file a formal complaint ASAP to many customer forums. Obviously I also demand refunding my cost. Peter G Medveczky MD Professor

Desired outcome: REfund

Travelocity Booked me with host who is not part of the agreement

I booked a place in Lagos, Portugal (Aug. 22-27), itinerary #[protected], case # with Vrbo [protected]. On August 15th I received a text from the host that I have to cancel, because his apartment is not available on this platform. This is my Day 4 waiting for this problem to be fixed, actually a disaster, created by your company for me. I have to leave in 2 days.

I was so excited about my trip that I arranged with hope of healing after going through a lot of stress in my life. And here I am, an innocent tourist, who booked a place through you, did everything right on my part, got all the necessary confirmation, had part of my money taken from my account (you owe me $456.40 Canadian), waited the whole summer for this trip to find out right before it is time to go that I can not go there, because you and the host do not have the necessary agreement. Why now? Why this was not discovered earlier/right away? Why it is taking so long to rebook me and compensate all this horror I am going through instead of preparing for my dream trip? The days are melting away, I am feeling helpless and hopeless. At this point I booked other places for that time on Travelocity, so that you can see I am struggling trying to fix your problem alone. Because my kids and I have to sleep somewhere! I only was able to get a hotel room with one double bed for 3 of us. And initially I was booked for a 2bedroom apartment with a kitchen!

This feels like a cruel joke, I can not eat or sleep, my dream vacation is ruined by you. And when I call (300 times) I am passed to another agent who starts from scratch every time. And I was on hold for hours all together for absolutely nothing! Your customer service is so unprofessional, nobody is capable to handle my case and connect me with the right people. Nobody is taking this case seriously.

I can not believe this is happening! You owe me big time! But at least refund me the money you took of my account on June 21.

This is the WORST experience of my life! This should be an embarrassment for your company.

Desired outcome: I need a refund and compensation if you can not find me a decent place at my desired location. Try to feel responsible for your mistakes and ruining your clients vacations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Travelocity System error caused my CC to be charged

On 8/12/22 I booked a round trip flight with Travelocity from GEG to PNS. The most affordable flights turned out to be with "multiple airlines" flying to PNS was via Delta and flying from PNS back to GEG was American Airlines. To create a background, the website login is in my husbands name. I was in a hurry and accidentally booked the flight in his name instead of my own. I immediately realized my error and cancelled said flight and rebooked in my own name. The delta flight cancelled with no issues and I was refunded that money immediately. I kept getting a system error when trying to cancel the American Airlines flight and every time I tried it just errored out. I called Travelocity and their VRU was also experiencing issues and could not find my flight to cancel it. When I finally got a hold of someone on 8/16, I was informed that this was a non-refundable flight and they could only give me a voucher for a new flight at a later date. This is unacceptable. The representative could obviously tell that I had cancelled part of the flight. I asked for a supervisor and was never transferred, saying they were too busy and would not be able to help me either.

Desired outcome: I would like a full refund to my credit card.

Travelocity cruise booking

I booked a cruise on line with Travelocity. There was a $250 deposit and the web site stated the balance of $2900 would be due at the end of July 2022. In mid August I checked with the cruise line, and there was no reservation made. Travelocity never made the booking and never billed for the remainder. My vacation was cancelled, and Travelocity is keeping the $250. Avoid this company like the plague, taking them to court. Very unhelpful customer service.

Desired outcome: Travelocity gives me the $250 they stole, and then they go out of business.

Travelocity Refund not received of travel ticket/ Vouchers due to Covid 19 Pandemic

Confirmation code OHL80G and OL38IV, supposed to travel on Apr 2020 and May 2020. But due to Covid we cancelled travel ticket and got travel vouchers that were valid Unit 18 APR 2022 (view in Attached document)

Contacted with travel agent both Qatar and Travelocity they did inquire and provided the confirmation of refund for one PNR OL38IV that amount will refund in 8 to 12 weeks, but so far no updates, while OHL80G was not even available in Travelocity's data base while as per Qatar airlines there was a grace period of 3 months due to Covid.

Not sure if this goes to Senior executives of Travelocity. The service is not too good and I am going to avoid Travelocity to book my tickets going forward.

Travelocity Cancelling a flight within the 24 hour window.

I am writing to you about the unreasonable time it took to cancel a flight within the 24 hour period. I am certain that you can access the chats and phone calls it took to get the reservation cancelled. The Travelocity itinerary is [protected].

I was on chat and phone for more than 4 hours to simply cancel the British Airways portion of this trip. I could not cancel this online, so I connected with your chat feature. I was told that I had to cancel directly with British Airlines. So I called them (and got to hold about 30 minutes for each call to BA) and they told me I had to cancel with my travel agent. So I went back to your chat and they gave me another number (international, so I had to pay the international charge for the call and the long wait time. I went back and forth for more than 4 hours (who else would have this amount of time?). I finally got a call from an expeditor who asked if I could hold until he could get BA on the phone. We were on hold for an hour. I did finally get my ticket cancelled. I kept at this because I was worried that I would go over my 24 hour limit.

I booked the ticket the evening of August 2. I called about 10am on the 3rd. I was not able to get this issue resolved until around 2:30 in the afternoon. I kept telling them that I paid Travelocity and that it was you that gave me the 24 hours to cancel at no charge. That did not change the direction of the call. They just kept saying that I had to cancel with BA. So why did they not resolve with BA as I made the reservation through you? I really want some kind of explanation as to why this happened. I want to know how Travelocity can make me work on this cancellation for more than 4 hours. Not sure anyone cares, but what do you think are the chances that I would use Travelocity again? What do you think are the chances that I will tell everyone I know? I look forward to your response very soon. Very unhappy customer, Karen

Desired outcome: I want an explanation

Travelocity Customer Service

I’d like to share our ‘wonderful’ experience with that giant, Travelocity. My daughter booked her flight through them to move from California to New York, to take a position as the Lead make-up artist for an off-Broadway production—truly exciting times. Then Covid hit, and the production was cancelled, and thus, her flight was as well. Fast forward 2 years; she gets another position in New York, goes to book her flight using her credit, only be told that a year had past, and that her credit had been lost.

I understand corporate policy, but in a Covid world this is an unconscionable application. So I reached out first, to their help center, and unsurprisingly received no response, so I in turn reached out to their Executive Team directly, knowing that any corporation with a conscience would right this wrong. Sadly, not a single on of them had the courtesy, nor courage, to respond. So I would like to call out my ‘gratitude’ to this wonderful team, who has chosen profit over a pandemic, or what is ethically correct—so as a matter of public record, let me introduce you to this team:

• Carl Sparks, President and CEO

• Mario Tota, Vice President, Sales

• Philip Charles-Pierre, VP

• Cathy Barsotti-Dooling, Vice President, Sales & Marketing

• Cathy Barsotti-Dooling

• Vice President, Sales & Marketing

• Naaz Nichols, Senior Director, Integrated Marketing Communications

• Paul Nelson SVP Partner Mktg

• Mark Weiner, VP Sales and Customer Care

Desired outcome: Refund

Travelocity Hotel booking

We booked a smoking room at the Rodeway Inn in Casper, Wyoming on July 41, 2022. When we went to check in the clerk informed us that they hadn't had smoking rooms for over 2 months, although Travelocity stated they did. I asked her for a refund she said I would need to contact Travelocity. I have tried emails, phone numbers, virtual agents, etc. and get nowhere. We feel we deserve a refund since the room we booked was misrepresented.

Desired outcome: Full tefund

Travelocity Paid for summit at Eiffel Tower but it was closed

We paid an extra $55 extra to go to the summit at the Eiffel Tower on Saturday July 23 at 4:30pm. The summit was closed that afternoon. Our guide explained that sometimes it closes due to full capacity but assured us that we could simply ask for that portion to refunded. Travelocity refused our request. Had I known that Travelocity had such poor business practices I would have simply bought through another website. In fact even though it was “skip the line tickets” we stood IN LINE anyway.

Desired outcome: I would like the $55 that I paid for me and my family (4people)

Travelocity Insurance does you no good

Don’t get insurance. So you spend 3k on a trip and get insurance. Yeah another 250 for that. So you cancel the trip and expect to be insured. A big lie. You have to call and call and get the run around. Since I cancelled an international flight I can only use the credit they gave me on an international flight and it expires. And expires soon. So I try over and over to use these credits and I keep getting told there’s an error. What error. Sir it’s just an error. Ok well you have 3 thousand dollars of mine that I can’t use. Sir there’s an error. What does that mean? I can’t believe a company like this still exists. With so many options out there but like an idiot I went with Travelocity. Never again. I will post and repost and repost the conversations I had for the next thirty years and basically giving any negative feedback when given the opportunity. I’lol my best to push people to better sites like booking.com, trivago, and so on..

Desired outcome: Keep the money with the bad karma that comes along with it

Travelocity Airline tickets

I purchased a two way ticket from London to Turkyeh from travelocity. The night before my trip, I checked in and I wanted to pay for a luggage I was taking, but the sight didn't allow me. I was so worried about my luggage if I can take it with me. There was also a message on the sight that I was allowed only a carry on. The day of my flight on July 12th, I had to pay for my luggage 159 (GBP). at the time of purchasing on line, it said first luggage is CAD$75 but it didn't tell me I have to get the luggage at the time of purchase. So I had to pay 159 (GBP) for only 17 kg luggage. Now I am in Turkey and worried about my return. My return flight is with air Serbia and they don't have any office here so I have to pay another 159 (GBP).

Not only this bothers me but also prior to my purchase this ticket was only 343 CAD dollars but the day I purchased it came $747.00 CAD. I think the sight that is offering these flights has to make sure the customer benefits not to rip off the customer.

Desired outcome: 1-The refund of difference for my ticket which is around $400.00 CAD2- The refund of difference for my luggage for both ways which is around $384.00 CAN.

Travelocity Flight refund

On July 2, 2022, my daughter and I had flights scheduled from Green Bay, Wi to London Heathrow. I had confirmation of tickets and received several emails about my flight being on time. My confirmation number was JBV8Y and Travelocity itinerary # [protected]. When we attempted to check in, the American Airlines clerk was able to pull up our tickets, but was unable to check us in as we were listed in a "no go" status. He couldn’t get it to clear and had to call the help desk. They had never seen this and had to call Iberia Airlines and they also could see the ticket, but could not identify the error. We were directed to World Travel and they could not correct the situation either. All stated they had never seen this type of error before and we were advised to call Travelocity as the error was in their system. With all this delay, we missed our flight and then spent the next three hours on hold with representatives from Travelocity, who said they could see the ticket and also could not get the error corrected. For some time, the Travelocity reps tried to call me a no show as they were not understanding the situation as explained to them and repeatedly placed me on hold for extended periods of time. I did have the American Airlines clerk explain it to a couple of different Travelocity Representatives and they did seem to at least understand that the error was with Travelocity and we had, in fact, been on time for our flight. Unfortunately, no one at Travelocity that I spoke with was able to correct the situation either. We spoke for over three hours to no avail. The representatives semmed not even that interested in helping me and just kept repeating "All we can do is issue you a future travel credit". I tried to explain that would not help me, as I needed to travel today and I had numerous reservations already booked in Europe. I did eventually get transferred to a supervisor and went through the whole scenario again, and again had to put the American Airlines clerk on the phone to explain that yes, we were there, but due to the error on Travelocity's end, he could not get us checked in and then we had missed the flight. After three more hours on the phone with Travelocity, no one could get us a new flight or even explain what had happened. He indicated that he would cancel both the outgoing and return flights and would get me a refund. To date, I have not received any refund or any communication from Travelocity. I am requesting the refund for $2747.74 for the original flights Green Bay, WI - London, United Kingdom and return Malaga, Spain - Green Bay, WI. In addition, I am requesting to be reimbursed for all the additional costs incurred. I am requesting $1663.88 for the flight I booked from Chicago to London. This flight departed on July 2, with a 21 hour layover in Charlotte, North Carolina. Because of the length of the layover, I had to book a hotel in Charlotte. The cost was $192.25. I had to still pay for the two unused nights of hotel rooms in London on July 2 and July 3 for a total of $256.78. The Mama Mia tickets I had booked in London for July 3rd were non-refundable and I am requesting $180.01. I am also requesting reimbursement for the flight I had to book home on July 15 from Malaga, Spain to Chicago for $2299.34. Everything I had to book on my own was so last minute and the costs were very high. I have used Travelocity for years, but the customer service was completely non existant.

Desired outcome: I am requesting reimbursement in the amount of $7340. The customer service was terrible and I am now in debt for thousands of dollars to correct the Travelocity error

Travelocity Refund for airline and hotel package to Belize

Issued for itinerary #[protected]. Booked a package with Travelocity to Belize in 2030 but due to the pandemic was unable to travel. Rescheduled plan for 2021, unfortunately, Hurricane IDA destroyed my residence in Hollis Queens and was unable to travel. Even thought I cancelled the bookings, I did not get a penny back from Travelocity. Spoke with the property owner in Belize who said she never received any payment. Despite several telephone conversations with Travelocity representative, I have got nothing to show for it. All promises and no action.

Desired outcome: Need my airline and hotel refund. The package was booked thru Travelocity so don’t tell me to check with the Airline.

Travelocity Refund for hotel room

Reserved a hotel room for one night in Tampa Florida at the Doubletree through Travelocity. At no time did anything tell me this was not refundable. It says as long as it is cancelled within hotel rules of cancellation, which it was.

I booked this over 2 months in advance of the trip. I also cancelled 2 months prior to the trip. They are saying it is nonrefundable. Hotel is saying it has to be cancelled via Travelocity since they are the ones I paid.

As well, my confirmation clearly says they do not charge for cancellation ore change.

Desired outcome: Refund my $145.00

Travelocity All inclusive flight and resort (SeaGarden Beach Resort)

Good afternoon,

I hope this email finds you well. I recently booked a flight/trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica and had an unsatisfactory experience. Below you will find a list of complaints:

At check in, they provided me with an already occupied room, which was very uncomfortable.

After settling in, I decided I wanted to take a shower. While in the shower, a door man keyed into my room, apparently they double booked my room. This was completely inappropriate, I traveled alone and expressed the importance of my safety.

Upon my arrival, the door man expressed that the resort elevator was broken, meanwhile they placed me in room 909. It was explained to me that the elevator would be fixed sooner than later. Unfortunately, the elevator was never fixed. This was very upsetting and unprofessional on behalf of the resort. This caused a great deal of discomfort, while on vacation. I even considered staying at another hotel, but could not do so.

The conditions of the hotel, for the most part, were clean. However, the top layer blanket had dirt marks, leaving me to believe the room was not properly cleaned.

I found and killed 2 roaches inside my room. Quite frankly, I did not pay all of that money to sleep with roaches. My room was also presented to me without a complete set of towels, wash cloths, hand towel, and floor mat/towel. I had to call several times to ask for my towels.

I found plates of food left outside of my room (was not my food). Requested that someone gather the plates due to spotting several roaches, the plate was there for 24 hours. I then took it upon myself to clean up the mess left outside my door. I took it upon myself and took it down myself.

Flight cancellations - Airport stated it was not due to weather issues, but issues with the crew. Due to it being the airports fault, I was told that I would be put in a hotel until my flight, instead I was given a thin blanket. This was really misleading and caused me to question ever flying with United Airlines.

This then caused my luggage to be stuck in a connecting airport - I was then required to purchase clothing for the 24 hours of my trip. I was told that the airport would reimburse me if I provide a receipt, to which I will send.

This was supposed to be a very special birthday trip, but instead it was full of disappointment. With that being said, I think that it is only fair to be reimbursed for the clothing I had to buy and provide me with a credit towards a stay at a different hotel and flight for this inconvenience.

Desired outcome: I would to be reimbursed for the clothing I had to buy and provide me with a credit towards a stay at a different all-inclusive trip (flight and resort) for this inconvenience.

Travelocity Travel reservations and "fake" pricing

I recently rented a car through Travelocity for a trip to costa rica. Travelocity said "Due at Pickup" was $269.87. Avis told me I owed over $500 when I contacted Travelocity all I got was a runaround. I ended up not taking the car since I refused to pay double the price I was quoted by Travelocity. When I requested a refund of the $99 Travelocity charged me for Collision Coverage, which the rental company claimed they knew nothing about, and wanted to charge me an additional $17.99 a day for, Travelocity told me I had to take it up with AIG.

Desired outcome: I want a refund of my $99 and people to know that Travelocity does NOT provide assistance with travel problems booked through them

Travelocity Rep failed to cancel itinerary correctly.

I purchased an all-inclusive package with Travelocity for $3269.26 which I found out within hours that it was not as meals weren't included. Travelocity had, and still has the wrong information published on their website. Travelocity guaranteed and assured me I would get a full refund since I was cancelling within 24hrs. Itinerary # [protected]. The following day I saw the refund was for less than what I paid (they only refunded $2194.24). I called Travelocity to find out where was the rest? and they said their representative didn't cancel the flights and that it was past the 24 hours grace period to cancel them at that point. They have refused to correct their employee's mistake! Now they hang up on me, they say they will investigate but never come back to me, on tweeter they keep asking for the itinerary number but don't follow through, they stop responding and I have to start all over again! I've been dealing with this for over 4 months! Tickets WERE refundable if cancelled within 24hrs, which I did call to cancel the WHOLE itinerary, Travelocity dropped the ball, NOT ME! I demand a full refund as I should have and would have received had their employee done his job properly! They need to fix their mistake and refund the rest of my money. They still have $1075.02 left to refund me.

Desired outcome: I expect the rest of my money to be refunded ($1075.05) as I should have and would have received had their employee done his job properly. I will not accept anything else.
