TravelSmith Outfitters Great company

This is a great company. If you ever have to return something, they are quick to refund. I recently purchased something from their competitor, Magellans, which I returned and it took 2 phone calls and six weeks before I saw the credit even though I had tracking information and a signature. Never again. I will always buy from Travelsmith for this type of merchandise.

TravelSmith Outfitters Fabuous clothes

I love to shop at TravelSmith.com. They offer great sales pretty much all of the time. I've never bought anything there at full price. The quality of their clothing is outstanding. Their customer service is among the best you can find anywhere. They go out of their way to help you. TravelSmith.com delivers on time and to your door. If you want or need to return something, they are easy to work with. It's wonderful to find a store with a real dedication to customer service. It helps me shop with confidence.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Customer Service and Return Policy at TravelSmith

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with TravelSmith. They've been straight up lying to me about my return for almost a whole month now. I've called them like five times and they still haven't processed it. And when they finally did, they tried to rip me off! They're only giving me $22.89 less than what I paid, even though they sent me some messed up stuff that I had to send back. Like, what kind of customer service is that?

And it's not just that one order either. I got this coat that was way too big, even though I followed their size chart, and they didn't even have the right size for me to exchange it with. So I had to return it and they're still trying to take $7.48 from me. That might not seem like a lot, but if they're doing that to everyone who returns something, they're making bank off of ripping people off.

I'm so sick of calling them and getting the same old runaround. I'm gonna try one more time to get this sorted out, but if they keep lying to me, I'm gonna have to get the Department of Consumer Affairs involved. It's just not worth my time to deal with a company that doesn't care about their customers.

TravelSmith Outfitters TravelSmith: A Disappointing Experience for Real Travelers

This website and company, TravelSmith, is a real shocker. My sister and I were given $25 gift cards for this site two years ago, but we couldn't find a single item that we wanted to buy. It's clear that this company doesn't cater to real travelers like us who are looking for affordable and high-quality travel gear. Instead, it seems like they only cater to snowbirds who are willing to pay exorbitant prices for mediocre products.

Today, I thought I might have finally found a decent item on the website, thanks to the 25% discount that was advertised. However, I was disappointed to find out that there was an additional $7.99 in shipping costs, and that the discount didn't apply to most of their half-decent brands. It's frustrating to have a gift card that doesn't actually bring the prices down to a reasonable level, especially when you consider the shipping costs.

It's clear that our grandparents got scammed when they bought us these gift cards. They obviously didn't know that real travelers like us need high-quality outdoor backpacks, clothing, and gear. Unfortunately, TravelSmith doesn't carry anything remotely decent or affordable. They don't have sleeping bag liners, quality headlamps, or any real travel gear that we would actually use.

Overall, I would say that TravelSmith is a waste of time and money. It's like looking at a sky magazine - all fluff and no substance. If you're a real traveler who needs high-quality gear at an affordable price, then I would recommend looking elsewhere. Don't waste your time or money on this website.

I recently made a purchase on TravelSmith's website and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered six items and was expecting to receive discounts on each of them, as advertised on the website. However, when I checked out, the discounts were not applied, and my total price was off by 20%. To make matters worse, the shopping cart listed two items at a sale price of $15.99, but I was still charged the original price of $20.

I decided to reach out to customer service via chat, and I was connected with a representative named Shawna. Despite the frustrating situation, Shawna was polite and helpful. She offered to make the corrections to my order after I provided her with an order number. I verified all the amounts with her, and she gave me a new total that was only a few dollars less than the original.

However, when I asked about the $20 discount that was supposed to be applied to purchases over $100, Shawna informed me that they wouldn't honor it because it couldn't be combined with the sale items. I was disappointed that the website didn't make this clear, and it took over 20 minutes of chatting with Shawna just to try to save $20. In the end, I decided to cancel my order at Shawna's suggestion.

Overall, I would advise others to avoid TravelSmith and shop elsewhere. While Shawna was helpful, the company's policies and website are misleading. I should have gone to Amazon instead, and after reading other reviews, it seems like TravelSmith should be out of business.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Experience with TravelSmith: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service

I recently made a purchase from TravelSmith on August 4th, 2017. I ordered a necklace and a pant suit for my upcoming cruise on September 9th. However, I received a notification that the pant suit would not be shipped until August 10th. I wasn't too worried about it since I still had plenty of time before my trip.

The necklace arrived on August 15th, but when I checked on the status of my pant suit, it said "Ready for picking." I wasn't sure what that meant, so I decided to call customer service. The representative informed me that the pant suit would be available on August 21st. I kindly asked if they could offer complimentary express shipping since I needed it for my trip, but unfortunately, they said they don't do that.

I decided to send an email to express my concern, and they assured me that the outfit would be shipped on August 24th. However, when I checked back on my order, it said it wouldn't be available until August 30th. They did offer to provide FedEx express shipping to ensure it arrived in time for my trip, but unfortunately, the outfit was not shipped until September.

To make matters worse, it didn't arrive until September 11th, two days after my cruise had already departed. I had no use for the outfit or the necklace, so I contacted customer service to ask for free return shipping since it was their mistake. However, they told me that it was not their policy to do so.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with TravelSmith. Their lack of communication and failure to deliver on their promises left me with no choice but to share my negative experience with others. I hope they can improve their customer service in the future.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Customer Service Experience with TravelSmith: A Review

I've been a loyal customer of TravelSmith for over 15 years now, but I have to say that my recent experiences with them have been less than satisfactory. It all started when they relocated their warehouse and updated their website. While I appreciate the need for change, it seems that these changes have had a negative impact on their customer service.

As other reviewers have noted, their customer service is now outsourced and understaffed. It's been truly horrific trying to get through to a human being on the phone. I've had to endure their canned music for over an hour on hold, and my husband thinks that the music is intentionally chosen to get people to hang up. It's frustrating to say the least.

To make matters worse, I had three orders in process during the warehouse move. One of them was returned, and it took nearly 2 1/2 weeks to get a refund even though I had the UPS tracking number that showed it was delivered. The other two orders took nearly 28 days to even get "picked" and shipped. After multiple calls to customer service, I found out that the delay was due to back-ordered items. I never received an email notifying me of the back-order status, either during check-out or from customer service.

I finally cancelled one of the orders this week, and I'm sad to say that I will never order from TravelSmith again. It's a shame because they used to be a great company, but it seems that they've lost their way. I hope they can get their act together and improve their customer service, but until then, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointed with TravelSmith: Poor Customer Service and High Shipping Costs

I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with TravelSmith. I've been a loyal customer for a long time, spending a whopping $2500 over the course of two months on various orders. They even sent me coupons as a thank you for my business, offering free shipping or 20% off my next purchase. But, like a dummy, I misplaced those coupons. So when I called customer service to ask for the courtesy of free shipping and an additional 15% off promo code, I was met with a big fat "nope." I spoke with three different managers and none of them were willing to work with me on the shipping charges, which are already sky-high to begin with. I mean, come on, TravelSmith! You're really gonna lose one of your top customers over a few bucks in shipping? I even asked them to check my order history to show that I don't mind paying shipping, I just wanted the courtesy extended to me because I lost the coupons. But nope, they weren't having it. So I told them to take me off their mailing list and stop sending me emails. And to top it all off, they stopped their relationship with eEbates.com, which is just plain dumb. I don't think TravelSmith is gonna be around much longer if they keep treating their customers like this. I spend a lot of money on online shopping and they just don't have what it takes. So take my advice and don't shop at TravelSmith!

I recently made a purchase from TravelSmith, an online retailer that specializes in travel gear and accessories. I decided to order their popular 360 spinner carry-on with a free tote, which seemed like a great deal. However, when I received the item, I quickly realized that the handle was not working properly. I immediately contacted customer service and requested an exchange.

After sending the item back and confirming that it had been received, I was told that a replacement would be shipped within 7 to 10 days. This seemed like a reasonable timeframe, so I patiently waited for the item to arrive. However, when it didn't show up, I called customer service again and was informed that the warehouse was in the process of relocating and my exchange had not been processed yet. I was given the option to purchase another item and receive a refund once my exchange was processed, but I didn't want to pay double for the same item.

I continued to call and follow up on my exchange, but it seemed like I was getting the runaround. Finally, I was given a date for when my replacement would arrive, but it didn't show up on time. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was told that the item was out of stock and I had been given a full refund. This was contrary to what I had been told by customer service previously.

I was frustrated and disappointed by the lack of communication and transparency from TravelSmith. After 8 weeks of waiting and being given false information, I suggested that they send me the item free of charge as a gesture of goodwill. Of course, I didn't expect this to happen, but I was willing to give them another chance if they were willing to make it right. However, I was not willing to go through the same process of lies, delays, and shoddy products again.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with TravelSmith. They used to be a reliable company with good products, but it seems like their customer service has gone downhill. I will not be doing business with them again and would caution others to be wary of their practices.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointed with TravelSmith's Exchange and Refund Policy

I recently made a purchase on TravelSmith's website for a sweater that caught my eye. The price was reasonable at $24.74, but the shipping cost of $7.95 brought the total to $32.69. Unfortunately, when I received the sweater, it was not the right size for me. I was disappointed, but I decided to exchange it for a different size since there was no charge for exchanges.

I followed the instructions on the enclosed packing label and sent the sweater back to TravelSmith. However, I did not receive any communication from them for over a week. I decided to call them on 1/18 to check on the status of my exchange. The representative I spoke to informed me that my sweater was in the warehouse and would be shipped out soon. She advised me to follow up in a week if I had not received it by then.

The next day, I received a voicemail message from TravelSmith stating that they did not have my size in stock and would be refunding my credit card. I was disappointed, but I understood that these things happen. However, when I checked my credit card statement on 1/23, I did not see any refund. I called TravelSmith again to check on the status of my refund.

The representative I spoke to informed me that there was a note on my account stating that they had left a message for me and were waiting to hear back. I was confused because I had not received any message from them. She then informed me that the refund amount would be $17.79, which was $14.90 less than the original purchase price. I was shocked and asked her to clarify the difference. She explained that the shipping cost would be deducted from the item amount.

I was frustrated because it was not my fault that they did not have my size in stock. I explained this to the representative and suggested that I should at least receive the full item amount of $24.74 back, excluding the original shipping cost. I have never experienced this kind of situation with any company before, and I felt misled by TravelSmith's promise of 100% satisfaction and free shipping on all exchanges.

After some back and forth, the representative finally agreed to credit me the full item amount of $24.74. While I appreciate that they eventually resolved the issue, I am disappointed with the overall experience. I hope that TravelSmith can improve their communication and refund policies in the future to avoid similar situations.

TravelSmith Outfitters Terrible Experience with TravelSmith: Poor Quality, Wrong Colors, Rude Customer Service, and Unacceptable Refund Policy

I recently ordered a dress from TravelSmith, a company I've been buying from for over 13 years. The dress I ordered had no reviews, but the print looked beautiful with colors of teal, pink/rose, and light blue. I was excited to receive it, but unfortunately, my experience was not a good one.

After waiting for 8 days and paying a huge shipping fee, I finally received my dress. However, it was poorly made and the colors were completely different from what I had expected. Instead of teal, pink/rose, and light blue, the dress was in orange, gray, navy, and some sort of red purple. It was hideous! I couldn't believe they would send me something so wrong. They must have known it was not what I ordered, but they still took my money and shipped it to me.

I immediately called their customer service to ask for a refund. However, instead of giving me a courtesy refund and asking me to return the dress, they treated me like a thief and refused to refund my money. They told me to use their label to return the dress, but it would take 7 days to arrive and then they would "decide" whether to refund me or not. They also said it would take another 5 days to process the refund. So, they would have been sitting on my money for 3 weeks or more. This was unacceptable!

The "supervisor" I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. She sounded like she smoked 7 packs of cigarettes a day and made it clear that they wanted to see if they agreed with me before issuing a refund. I mentioned the "damn garment" and she threatened to hang up on me for cursing. It was clear that they would do anything to avoid doing their job in customer service. I was extremely disappointed with their behavior.

To make matters worse, when I phoned them again to have my name removed from their mailing list, I got some guy in the Philippines who wanted my catalog number. I told him I had thrown them all away at the mailbox, but he still transferred me to customer service even though I told him not to. The customer service person then transferred me back to the Philippines. It was a frustrating experience dealing with their customer service.

Adding to my frustration, I noticed that they didn't refund the entire shipping amount. I had to phone them again to get it sorted out. It was clear that this company was not interested in doing the right thing.

Overall, my experience with TravelSmith was terrible. They used to be my favorite company, but now they are the worst. I don't know what has happened to them, but they have lost a loyal customer. I would not recommend them to anyone.

TravelSmith Outfitters TravelSmith Review: Overpriced Clothes, Huge Sizes, and Snail-Like Shipping

So, I made a mistake and saw this dress on TravelSmith's website that I thought would be perfect for my travels. I put it on my Christmas list and ended up getting two of them, but they were HUGE despite being extra smalls. I was so disappointed because these dresses were supposed to be specifically designed for travel, but they were incredibly wrinkly and obviously were not wrinkle-free items. I decided to return them, but it was a hassle. I was issued THREE merchandise credits (for two items) and was told I would receive free shipping for an exchange, but I did not receive free shipping.

Their clothes all seem to run HUGE. I am normally a size 6, but everything looked enormous on their website. I tried to take advantage of one of their sales for a pair of boots, but the exclusions made it impossible to get them on sale. I finally found a Peruvian Pima tank top that I could buy that might fit in an XS. I ordered three because I truly just wanted to use the credit, and there was nothing in their whole store that I wanted. Shipping took forever, and when I received my items, two of the tank tops were there, but they sent me a third item that wasn't even remotely related to the tank top. It was item 641352 in size Medium. I kid you not, it was actually about a 2X despite being labeled medium.

My two kids laughed when I pulled it out of the package to show them because this was supposed to be for me! Now, I have to package up this item (yet again) and drive back to the post office because they messed up. Many companies nowadays just say go ahead and donate it when they make mistakes, but not TravelSmith. And, they are going to take as long to send the replacement item as the first go-round, which took almost two weeks! What a flipping joke this company is!

Overpriced clothing, huge sizes, and snail-like shipping. They really just need to close down. I am sure they eventually will. In somewhat positive news, the XS tank tops are only slightly large, so with a few high heat dryer cycles, I may actually get to wear the $80 my relatives so graciously spent on me initially. Mind you, I would be able to find these tank tops in a store for about $15 each (or at Venus), but at this point, I just never want to deal with this company again.

TravelSmith Outfitters TravelSmith Review: Unreliable Customer Service and Shipping Practices

I recently placed an order on TravelSmith's website, but unfortunately, my order was still in process after a week. When I tried to call their customer service, I was put on hold for what felt like forever. It seems like there's only one person working in their customer service department because the queue only goes down one at a time.

Finally, when I was able to speak to someone about my order, they told me that it was being held up because some of the items were on back order. They couldn't give me an estimated shipping date, which was frustrating because I needed two items for an upcoming trip. Despite this, I decided to go ahead and order the items anyway.

However, I soon found out that TravelSmith had lied to me. Both my new order and the previous one ended up shipping on the same day. It seems like they just wanted to charge me for shipping and didn't care about my needs as a customer.

I would caution anyone considering ordering from TravelSmith to be careful. In my experience, they are not a reliable company and you're better off going to Amazon or another retailer. I was extremely disappointed with their customer service and the overall experience. In my opinion, they are the worst.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Experience with TravelSmith: Slow Shipping, Expensive Returns, and Poor Quality Items

It took me a good 10 days to get my order from TravelSmith after I placed it. I was a bit disappointed to see that the order said "FedEx" but it was actually delivered by the U.S. Postal Services. I had to pay $22 to get my stuff shipped to me, which I thought was way too expensive. And if I wanted to return anything, I'd have to pay $7.50 to ship it back to them. That's just too much money to spend on online shopping.

Out of the 6 items I ordered, I'm only keeping one. The quality of the jacket I got is paper-thin and see-through. The cardigan is much too large, even though I ordered it in my original size. The tops were supposed to be "reversible," but they're really just pinned at the bustline, so it gives the "illusion" that it's a v-neck. The material was too clingy for my liking.

Overall, I wouldn't order from TravelSmith again. I'm afraid that the pants I did keep are going to be collecting things because they're very staticy. It's just not worth it.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointed with recent Travelsmith order: Quality and sizing issues, new ownership selling cheap goods

I've been a loyal customer of Travelsmith for years. Their quality and customer service have always been top-notch. I still have items that I purchased 5 to 10 years ago, and they still look great and are ready for my next adventure. However, my recent order left me disappointed. The quality of the items was not up to par, and the sizing was off. I had to return everything.

What really confused me was the labels on the items. Instead of "Travelsmith," they said "Northstyle" or "Magellan." After doing some research, I found out that Travelsmith had been bought out by a new company. It's clear that the new company is selling cheap Chinese goods that are nothing like the high-quality products that Travelsmith used to offer.

It's a shame to see such a great source of stylish and good quality travel clothing go downhill like this. I won't be ordering from them again.

TravelSmith Outfitters Deceptive Practices: Travelsmith.com Offers Only One Deal - Free Shipping or Discount, Not Both

I gotta say, I've been getting a lot of emails from Travelsmith.com lately, all saying "free shipping ends tonight". So, I decided to take advantage of it and place an order. I also got a sweet 40% discount, which was pretty awesome. But, when I got my order confirmation, I noticed that I was charged $15 for shipping. What the heck? There was nothing on the website that said I wouldn't qualify for free shipping if I used the discount. Maybe it was in tiny print or something, but I couldn't find it. So, I ended up spending over $200 and still had to pay for shipping. I was pretty ticked off, to be honest.

I decided to contact customer service to see if they could refund the shipping cost. But, they refused. They said that the free shipping offer only applied if I didn't use the discount. What a bunch of baloney! I don't deal with deceptive companies like that. And, to make matters worse, the site also says that they offer free exchanges. But, what they don't tell you is that if you want to return something, it's gonna cost you. So, if you're thinking about ordering from Travelsmith.com, be warned. You can only get one deal from them - either free shipping or a discount. And, if you don't like what you ordered and you're not exchanging it, you're gonna have to pay for postage. It's a real bummer, but that's just the way it is.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointed with TravelSmith's New Clothes: A Review

I've been a big fan of TravelSmith for a long time now. I just love the way they put together their styles, the fabric they use, and the way they size their clothes. And the prices are always reasonable, especially when they have a sale going on! But then I heard the news that TravelSmith was going out of business, and I was really bummed out. So you can imagine how happy I was when I started getting emails from them again. I was so excited to place an order and get some new clothes!

But my excitement didn't last very long. When my order arrived, I was really disappointed to see that one of the items had a North Style label on it, and the other had a Magellan's label. Neither of them were up to the usual TravelSmith standards that I had come to expect. I ended up keeping one of the tops to wear around the house, but the other one went straight to the Red Cross.

I'm sorry to say this, TravelSmith, but until you start making clothes that are up to your old standards, I'm not going to be a customer anymore. I really miss the old TravelSmith, and I hope you can get back to the way things used to be.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Experience with TravelSmith's Tropical Microfiber Pants: Back Orders and Inaccurate Delivery Times

I just had to order the Tropical Microfiber Pants from TravelSmith again, and let me tell you, it was not a smooth experience. The first time I ordered them, I waited patiently for two weeks, only to be told that they were back ordered. I was so disappointed because nowhere on the website or in my confirmation email did it say that the pants were not available. I decided to give it another shot and made sure to check the availability before submitting my order. The website said that the pants would be delivered in just 5 days, but the email confirmation said it would take 10-12 days.

I waited patiently for 13 days, but the pants still hadn't arrived. I decided to call TravelSmith to see what was going on, and that's when I found out that the pants were back ordered again and wouldn't be available for another 3 weeks. I was so frustrated with TravelSmith. I've ordered from them before and never had any problems, but something has definitely changed for the worse in the last year.

I just wish that TravelSmith would be more transparent about their inventory and delivery times. It's so frustrating to wait for something that you thought was available, only to find out that it's not. I hope that they can improve their processes and communication in the future, because I really do love their products.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Experience with TravelSmith Gift Card: Delayed Shipping and Poor Customer Service

So, I got this $100 gift card from TravelSmith for Christmas. I was pretty excited to use it, so I went to their website and bought a bunch of stuff. But, after waiting for several months, I still hadn't received anything. I reached out to them three times, and each time they told me that my items had already shipped and would be arriving soon. But, that wasn't the case.

I waited for four months before I finally asked if they could just reimburse me or replace the gift card. They said they would issue a new gift card, but it's been over two months and I still haven't received it. I've reached out to them again, but they haven't responded yet.

Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with TravelSmith. I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to let others know that this company isn't very customer-friendly. If you're thinking of giving someone a gift card from TravelSmith, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

TravelSmith Outfitters Disappointing Experience with TravelSmith: Terrible Sizing, Deceptive Descriptions, and Poor Customer Service

I recently bought a dress from TravelSmith, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with my purchase. I ordered a medium-sized "above the knee" dress, but when it arrived, it was way too big for me. I'm only 5'4" tall, and the dress fell several inches below my knees. I couldn't believe it! The catalog model must have been a giant or something because there's no way the dress could have been so high above her knees.

I decided to return the dress, but when I saw that they would deduct nearly $8 from my refund, I was quite upset. I mean, why should I have to pay for their mistake? So, I called the company to complain about these return charges, and the person on the other end of the line was obviously very annoyed with me. But, after some arguing, they finally agreed that I wouldn't be charged for the return postage.

However, when I received notice of my refund, I was shocked to see that they had deducted $18.14 from my refund! I couldn't believe it! This is a terrible company, and they deserve to be put out of business. I mean, how can they treat their customers like this? It's just not right.

Overall, I would not recommend TravelSmith to anyone. Their sizing is way off, their descriptions are deceptive, and their customer service is terrible. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.

TravelSmith Outfitters TravelSmith: A Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service

TravelSmith really let me down on multiple occasions. I had a terrible experience with them when I placed an order, tried to return a product, and requested a replacement. They caused me to waste countless hours of my time, and to make matters worse, I never even received the merchandise I had ordered. This was especially frustrating because the items were seasonal and I had been counting on them for the winter months.

To make matters worse, TravelSmith never even bothered to contact me to let me know that one of the items I had ordered was out of stock. I had placed the order over the phone, and the representative I spoke with never mentioned that the item was unavailable. Instead, TravelSmith simply issued a refund for the entire order without even attempting to contact me to ask how I wanted to proceed.

When I brought all of these issues to their attention, TravelSmith's response was incredibly disappointing. They showed no remorse for their mistakes and simply told me "too bad." I was extremely disappointed with their lack of customer service and will never shop with them again.

Overall, I would not recommend TravelSmith to anyone. Their lack of communication and poor customer service left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. If you're looking for a reliable and trustworthy online retailer, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

TravelSmith Outfitters Travelsmith Review: Disappointing Quality and Customer Service Policy

Travelsmith had a sale on travel underwear and I was excited to see that they had a similar style to ones I had bought from them before. The price seemed really good, almost too good to be true, but I decided to give it a shot. However, I was a bit taken aback by the high price for shipping and handling for such a lightweight and non-fragile item.

I took the underwear with me on a trip abroad and was disappointed to find that the elastic in the leg holes was too weak to keep the garment closed around my legs. This was not the same fit and performance as the items I had purchased from them before.

When I returned home from my trip, I planned to return the underwear for a refund or exchange. However, I was shocked to find that the packing slip stated that all sales were final and that no returns or exchanges would be accepted. To make matters worse, they added insult to injury by stating that their message superseded the return instructions printed on the back.

I am not only disappointed in the diminished quality of the merchandise, but also in the sour quality of their customer service policy. It's frustrating to spend money on a product that doesn't meet expectations and then not be able to return or exchange it. I hope that Travelsmith will reconsider their policy and prioritize customer satisfaction in the future.

TravelSmith Outfitters item # 692490, travelsmith flyaway anti-theft crossbody bag

On July 6th, I ordered this anti-theft, RFID-blocking bag for an upcoming trip to Europe. As of September 1st, it is STILL on backorder. This is completely unacceptable! Now it's too late to order from another company. The only thing I've heard back from TravelSmith is that they will be happy to cancel my order.

What horrible customer service! I will NEVER shop with TravelSmith again, and I'm going to make sure everyone I know hears about this incident.

TravelSmith Outfitters credit return

ORDERED ON LINE: I am extremely disappointed in the credit return service. The package was returned using the enclosed return label May 24th (sizes were not as stated in catalog - too big). Mailed from NC to Connecticut May 24th. June 12th, I am still calling about the return. The customer service people can not even get on the same page as to IF they received the package. I.E., CSR 1 says it is in the warehouse Monday, June 5th, refund June 12th. I called June 12th, CSR 2 says they have not received the package. I talk to supervisor CSR3, did receive package on Tuesday, June 6th. Will refund Tuesday. [A big explanation about their 2 warehouse and the package going to the wrong warehouse - shouldn't it be in a computer system once received? ] If this inefficiency is my problem then PLEASE allow me to come to your organization and use six sigma process improvement methods so I can get my credit return!

The instructions say refund within 3-5 days. We are past that! CSR3 informs me that package is at the warehouse and it will take a week. BUT that is not what the return instructions state. The CSR are not on the same page nor are the printed instruction that state 3-5 days when return is received.

I should not have to do this much follow-up!

TravelSmith Outfitters Order wasn't shipped

I made an order here and it wasn't even shipped!
I paid for my order but did not receive a shipping confirmation message so I contacted them and they assured me everything was fine and there was nothing to worry about. After two more weeks of waiting I contacted again and spoke to someone else who told me that due to some issues order wasn't shipped! Then I asked them to cancel it but they refused and when I asked how much time do they need to ship my items they said they had no idea. Terrible service and absolutely useless and ridiculous support! Don't buy anything from TravelSmith!

TravelSmith Outfitters They are unprofessional and can't do anything right!

I made quite a big order and bought many things from TravelSmith. There were things I bought for myself and two shirts for my husband.
When I received my order half was missing, my top was missing and two shirts.
I contacted TravelSmith and they claimed that was just an accident and promised to fix everything. They said I'll get the rest of my order within few weeks.
16 days later I received the package, but it was really small and when I opened it I saw that there was only one shirt!
I contacted them again and said that I'm still waiting for the rest of my order. They were surprised to hear that and asked me to give them extra time.
Two items are still missing and TravelSmith don't seem to care. They are unprofessional and can't do anything right! What a joke!

Travelsmith has the absolute worst customer service. I ordered a hat. Pretty simple, huh? A month later and 5 calls, no hat. Customer Service #### (er. Representatives) said... call 1: hat will ship next week... call 2: hat will ship Monday... call 3: hat was shipped to wrong address... call 4: can't find your order... call 5: Hat will ship next week. Customer Service #### were not only incompetent but rude. They could have not cared less. I asked to speak to a Manager and they refused to put me through or give me a phone number. Strange thing is, I'm a repeat customer, but guess what... I am now a former customer. Recommend you shop elsewhere. The place is a looney bin.

TravelSmith Outfitters This site scammed me

I have no idea where did they get my email address, I never bought anything from them. Anyway, I received a message from a company called TravelSmith and they offered me a free shipping and a discount for a first time customer. That was quite an interesting offer so I went to their website to see what they had. I found a nice backpack on their site and ordered it. It was quite expensive but with the discount it seemed like a great deal. For some reason discount wasn't applied and they charged the full price and they also charged $30 for shipping! I sent them a message and asked them to cancel my order but the did not reply. Recently I received my bag. Even though I asked them to cancel my order they still shipped it. Horrible site and service!

Couple of weeks ago I have returned the clothes to www.travelsmith.com. I spoke with the rep, who told me that I would get full refund. Today I opened my account and noticed $30 on my account. It was from this company. I don’t understand why the sum was so small. I tried to reach the seller, but the phone was switched off. As well as he hasn’t responded to my emails. Please, maybe someone can help me.

I found two luggage bags on the website www.travelsmith.com. I place the order and there was small discount for these bags, but when I already proceeded to pay, the sum was completely different. I emailed the seller, but he told me that there were no discounts for these items. They misled people with their discounts and it was unfair. As well as I couldn’t cancel the order now and lost rather large sum.

TravelSmith Outfitters Avoid rip off

I made the mistake of ordering $525.99 worth of goods from this credit-card fraud factory a week before I was to fly to Europe for a long-planned, much-needed vacation. Within 12 hours, Travelsmith had charged my card for $2, 103.96! There they were on the on-line statement for my credit card account: 4 identical Travelsmith charges, each with the same date, each for $525.99. Not only did this result in an overcharge condition (and additional charges) on my credit card, but Travelsmith's available telephone personnel could provide no explanation and nothing but bland assurances that it "should take care of itself in a few days." Later, they flatly contradicted me. While I was looking at the online account status page for my account at my credit card issuer's website, staring straight at the FOUR IDENTICAL $525.99 charges for Travelsmith Catalog, Travelsmith personnel kept blandly insisting there was only one such charge. I begged them to call the credit-card issuer and tell them there should be only one $525.99 charge, I even gave them the phone number and contact information for the person I had (after much time and trouble) located at the credit card issuer who said he could fix it, if the merchant would contact him. Travelsmith simply said they cannot do that. As a result, I am unable to make other needed travel-prep purchases, nor will I be able to fly with any assurance that I will be able to use my credit card while I am in Europe. MY TRIP TO EUROPE HAS BEEN RUINED! I assume I will eventually be able to recover some of my money through the credit-card "dispute" mechanism, but that is small consolation at this point.
