BUYER BEWARE!
BUYER BEWARE! They tried to sell us a unit that had cockroaches in it. They said that they didn't see any roaches in the unit. We hired someone to transport (not one of their 3rd party transporters) and inspect the unit for us and he was able to point out EVERY cockroach to us. To which they responded that one or two cockroaches are normal to have in units ? maybe his normal, but not mine! The unit was missing the AC capacitor, yet they said they fixed the unit up. They are rude, and shady. I guess there is a reason just about EVERY transporter in DFW H.A.T.E.S these people. The unit we were going to purchase was the 2017 Prowler 30LX. DO.NOT.BUY unless you want more trouble than it's worth.

I think ultimate RV sales lies just to get your money. They will tell you that they have done a complete inspection of a trailer of your choice but after you sign the paper work and move said item off their property they have a different attitude. I bought a 2013 trailer from them and had to pay to have it moved. When I got it to a trailer park I noticed an oder coming from the trailer. I looked under neith and found the black water tank leaking. I called and they said bring it back to us and we will fix it but you have to buy the parts. You have one year free labor. We are living in the trailer full time. I told them to come fix it, but they didn't. So they got what they wanted but we did not.

Lies... lies... lies! THIEVES! The fifth wheels they have here are all jammed onto this little lot. They are all disgusting! Half of the things inside of them are broken, or on the verge of being broken. Huge stains on stuff, missing furniture, god awful odors, etc. Granted, they are all preowned, so it's not going to be in perfect shape. The amount of DISGUSTING in this lot is ridiculous! The building itself that they do business out of? Omg... so sketchy and pathetic. Dirty, dirty, dirty! Kids toys and personal items everywhere. When talking to the staff, mid sentence get ignored to be on their phones. WHO DOES THAT!?! At first they were super friendly and helpful. We dealt with Katie, the "finance" person. Super helpful and friendly. Then when we got a bad vibe and a bad feeling about this place, we asked for our money back and decided to keep what we had... Katie turned childish and basically told us we could screw ourselves. Really? That is exactly why we kept what was ours. They STOLE our money, even though we were told on multiple occasions it was 100% refundable. When confronted on it, they of course LIED and said they never said that and that it was only transferable. Which was NOT what was told. We later found out that because we were prior military, we were being charged WAY MORE than everyone else! Seriously? That's how you thank people who made it possible to run this cheap [censored], lying, greazy [censored] company? Jack the rates WAY up for being military ? Good way to show appreciation. Once being told we were NOT doing business with them, they all avoided our texts and phone calls. The "owner" of the store, Hope, is never around to talk to. So, now we have to go through an entire fiasco because these guys wouldn't give us our stuff back that they have ZERO legal right to have.

But until now, I still haven't received that check. She always has a lot of reasons when I call on the phone. I need my refund, but they always make excuses.

I put a deposit on an RV. They called me back and said I needed a larger down payment. I told them I would be there the first weekend in August and they said it was okay. They texted me on Monday, August 2nd, asking what time I would arrive. I reminded them that I had already mentioned the weekend. The salesperson became very rude with me, and I informed her that I would simply request a refund. She told me that refunds were not allowed. I never signed any documents stating that I would not receive my money back. Now they refuse to give me a refund.

We reached out to them last Monday because it's been almost 3 months, and they said they would "call us back when they got in the office", but they never did. I tried calling later, but my calls were blocked. My husband called from a different number and got an immediate answer. They said someone else handles the titles and tags and would get in touch. They did contact us and said they would send it "on Monday". At this point, I don't have any confidence that it will actually happen.

I liked it, and the salesperson, who's also the GM, said to prevent others from selling it, I needed to make a down payment until we heard from finance. I paid 3,000 cash and received a handwritten receipt. Two days later, the salesperson said the finance company wanted a 10,000 down payment. I couldn't afford it. Struggling to get my 3,000 back for two days, I was then told it was non-refundable since I wasn't denied. I feel it's unfair to keep my money when I can't complete the purchase. I signed nothing and wasn't told about the non-refundable policy. They're thieves in my eyes!

The women in the office seemed confident that this is a "civil" matter, but I don't believe them. I think they acted in bad faith and I want my money back.

Last weekend in August, Ultimate RV repoed our RV 'cause we were behind on our down payment 'cause of COVID. We weren't behind on monthly payments, just the down payment. We contacted the finance on Monday and worked out an agreement and started making payments to get the RV back. The RV was locked on private property behind a gate for storage. Ultimate RV broke into our RV and cleaned everything we owned and threw it away. We have an open/active/payments being made account with them and they stole our stuff. The owner, Hope Van Tassel, had our cable satellite and cable box in her office but had no idea where our stuff was, even though she knew we were still making payments and had an open account. We found our water hoses and sewer hoses being used by Ultimate depot. The police were called. They stole thousands of dollars worth of our belongings and ain't doing nothing to make it right. They even took the spare tire, battery, 2 new big propane tanks that we just bought, the electric cord for the RV, and the kitchen table out of our RV when they had no right. Getting replacements for the battery, propane tanks, and electric cord was like pulling teeth. The kitchen table they gave us is broke! Hope told us she ain't gonna do nothing to make it right. Maximum Finance is the finance company that the RV is through and told us that Ultimate RV can't go inside our RV as long as we have an open and active account, especially when there are payments being made to recover the TV. The worst place ever to buy an RV!

I bought a 2012 Keystone *** 5th wheel from you on 3/19/22 for $16,000. When I inspected it on the same day, I noticed that your team had done the hydraulic work but had not enclosed the underbelly of the trailer after the repair. The unit was prepared for delivery, but no keys were exchanged because they were supposed to be given to the transportation driver on 3/21/22. However, someone falsely claimed that the keys had already been delivered. This mistake left the hydraulic repair work exposed, which caused damage to the hydraulic lines. The lines you installed were also the wrong size, which irreparably damaged the slide and now requires extensive repair. This is either fraud or a unilateral mistake, and I believe I am entitled to a full refund due to your negligence and breach of contract. When I received the trailer, I expected the repair to be completed and the unit to be ready for transport. I am writing this letter to demand that you rectify the situation and make things right. I will have an inspection done to assess the damage you have caused, and I will send you the report. I expect you to resolve this matter within 10 calendar days to prevent any further damage. If you fail to do so, we will have no choice but to take legal action. Additionally, it is now May 4th, 2022, and you have still not provided me with the title and tags for the trailer. I want to make it clear that all the statements I have made in this letter are true and accurate, which invalidates any false claims you may make on ComplaintsBoard.com. We will seek legal remedies, including an injunction and compensatory damages, for your complete breach of contract.

I recently contacted the dealership after finding them on the internet. I spoke with a sales woman named ***. I initially wanted a 5th wheel and we agreed on one. I put $2000 down paid by debit card, and I had 45 days to pay another $4000 upon pick up of the unit. Then she called me back and said she had a bumper pull that was really nice that I would like and she sent me photos of it. I told her that I had a 2008 Ford 250, 2-door single cab and asked if I could pull the RV with it, and she told me yes, her husband said so. I specifically asked if I could pull the RV with my Ford 250 because I was coming from Georgia! She said it was possible. Once I took the 17-hour drive, 1098 miles there from Georgia, I discovered that I could not pull the RV with my truck. I asked for a refund of my deposit of $6000 back because I could not use my vehicle to pull the unit as she had stated. They refused to refund my deposit and became very rude, stating that SHE had worked very hard going in and out in the hot sun taking pictures to send to me and she deserved to be paid her commission and that it was my problem that the truck could not pull the unit. She suggested I get a tow truck to take the unit to Georgia. I asked for my refund and to speak to someone in a higher authority. I was told by Hope that the finance company would not allow the refund and then the finance company told me that was a lie and they did not have my contract, they were not holding my money, that the owner, Hope and ***, was the hold up with refunding my deposit. Then Hope said I could not get a refund but I could choose another unit. We then found another 5th wheel unit. I expressed that I would rather just get my refund for my deposit back but I was told again that was not possible. I was forced to choose a 5th wheel that I would have to come back for one week later on Saturday, August 1st. I called *** on Monday, July 27 to confirm pick up for Saturday and she said it would be no problem, the unit would be ready, and if there were any changes she would call me and let me know. She texted me the next day, Tuesday at 3:25 p.m. stating that I could pick up the unit on the agreed-upon day, Saturday, August 1. At this point, I am dissatisfied with Ultimate RV service and their owner and staff! I live too far away to keep making weekly trips taking off from my work. I just want a full refund of my $6000 deposit so that I can find somewhere to stay as I am homeless right now. I ask that Ultimate RV be investigated for fraudulent business practices. Thank you.
