Vons - Cashier

On Friday 9/15/23, I went shopping at my local Vons Store #2033

4500 Coffee Road, Bakersfield California.

I was shopping getting my Just 4 U items and trying to "clip" items from app

on my phone. I couldn't get an item to accept, so this nice person Jennifer seen me in the isle with my ad trying to get it to work, she stopped and tried to get the item to clip on the app., we couldn't get it, so I continued on shopping and usually the cashier's help with this , I also carry the ad to help. Upon arriving to the cashier Cheryl, I asked her for help for the item I was trying to clip would not work. I showed her the ad, and she kept ringing up my items, I had 7 total . She didn't have the patience for my phone and trying to clip the coupon for the phone app. She gave me the total and I asked if I received the discount for the item and she said no, it wasn't working. Then she proceeded to tell me that I should do this at my house before I come to store. Then she voided my items one by one and said "I don't have time for this", (her line was getting longer) and she sent me to customer service to have my items rang out there. I was patient and I was in no hurry, so I went to customer service I was met by Tessa, a very nice person, she rang up my items, pulled out her calculator and gave me my discount, the app was not taking the clipped coupon. My visit was pleasant with Jennifer and Tessa. I don't understand why Cheryl did not have time to help with the discounted clipped item.

Desired outcome: Maybe have Cheryl learn the app on the Just 4 U, and not be so rude as to putting customer (me) to customer service.

Vons - No masks during pandemic

I was in your Bakersfield coffee rd location at about 9:40 pm on Friday the 7th, I went in to use the Wells Fargo machine I took my bike inside because I forgot my lock, after finishing with my transaction I felt thirsty and decide to get something to drink. While I was in the iced tea isle a young WHITE male aboy 16 to 18 years old confronted me in a rude manner telling me I need to leave my bike out side, I explained that I forgot my lock he then got more aggravated and told me it was store policy, I then asked him if it was stir policy for him to wear he's mask over his face instead of under his chin. He then went to the cashier and had her call me out on the intercom I went up front told her that he wasn't wearing a mask and she shined me on so I left. I the. Called the store to talk to a general manager the customer service woman claimed to be one but seemed only to shine me on too so I'm reaching out to you in hoes that something actually gets done. Please don't racially profiled your customers and harass them and then condescend to them when they complain.

Desired outcome: Apology from employees

Vons - Rudeness

I shop here 3 times a week, but that will be changing.. We're all aware of the virus concerns, but today, you herded us like cattle. It felt like being prodded into a box car, with an extraordinarily rude clerk who took this herding job beyond scope. Her attitide was diminishing and condemning and if you strayed a foot off your demanded red square she called you out then stood behind you for minutes on end making she you OBEYED her. Are you serious? I am still the customer, I still have rights. I will not obey your clerk who demands obedience. Till she wesrs a badge, she is just an hourly employee overextending his authority.Next, no helping with bags? If I wanted to shop at Winco I would. How about investing in gloves for your baggers. You made this an awful shopping trip. This was a horrible, f'n experience. Good luck. I am not alone if this is your customer support in handling this crisis. Total joke and my check out person agreed.
