Vanilla Gift Cards refund

i did a dispute on 07/26/2022 for $182.00 they told me it take 45 to 90 days well it been pass that i had one guy told me i should recieve it in 5 to 7 days and my card be reactive on 11/22/2022 i had couple of them told me they start my disputes on 08/31/2022 and another said 10/31/2022 and another told me 10/08/2022 and that i have to wait 45 to 90 days i be filing a lawsuit against them for lying to a total disable person and taking it money

Desired outcome: please refund / and investagate who ever doing it to people like us because it not fair because people work to hard for there money

I have had 3 cards compromised by others stealing the funds and making purchases while the card is in my possession and still in the packaging. It's a battle with them and you must stay on top of it to claim your refund. Two were resolved and this last one they closed my case. even when they stole the money prior to me getting the card. We need a smalls claims case started on them because they really are getting worse to deal with. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GIFT CARD TO ANYONE. Especially during the Holidays.

Vanilla Gift Cards Gift card rip off!

I purchased a $100 Visa Vanilla gift card for my granddaughter to use for college for her books, when she went to order her books there was a $0 balance on the card. I called the phone number on the back of the card and was told that they could see it was spent at Amazon and it was fraudulent. I asked how to get my money back, they sent me a form to fill out and I was told to wait 45-60 days. I did what I was told, and I would call and email to see what was going on (I didn't think it would take long because they already knew a lot of the information) customer service kept telling me that they were still investigating. After 60 days I was told to wait 90 days. I called and emailed again on day 90, I was told I had to wait 2 more days. After 2 more days I called back, same story. After the third time I lost my cool and the supervisor acted like she couldn't hear me and hung up. The very next morning I received an email stating I wasn't getting my money back. I called again and spoke to a manager who told me that they sent me the wrong form and I would be getting my money back. I filled out the form and sent it back and waited again. When I called back, they told me that they didn't have my money and I would have to fight Amazon for it. There is no number for the corporate office and the address they gave me was to a cancer center. I am told that I can't talk to anyone higher than the customer service and supervisors. These are the rudest people and so hard to understand. I started searching Visa Vanilla gift cards and I am disturbed by how many people are ripped off. I only did a small search, and I am shocked! I cannot afford to give my granddaughter and money to replace the card. I am beyond angry. Please help me get my money back and the other people who have been ripped off

Vanilla Gift Cards Used by someoneelse

My friend give me this card with a balance of 150 for my birthday, I had it at home and completly forgot about it, I found it today and the balance was zero with purchases I have not done or nobody in my family, dont know how this is possible taking in consideration nobody has had access to the card. I have had a lot of Visa gift cards and never have had a problem, will never buy this card for anybody, my friend just wasted 150

Vanilla Gift Cards Pre-Paid Gift Card

I received a gift card from a family member. I decided to start using it to make a purchase a drink. The second time I went to make a purchase, it declined for a purchase online. I check the balance, it said there was a system error. I have called several time, just to be put on hold for 20 minutes plus, each time.

I would like to use my gift card that a family member pre-paid for.

Desired outcome: The pre-paid amount that was on my gift card.

Vanilla Gift Cards I want my money back

Vanilla Gift Cards gift card

I bought a vanilla gift card on November 3, 2022 and put 200.00 on it. i was using it to buy wholesale products that I could then sell retail as soon as I set up my ecommerce website.

I had made 35.00 and something in transactions through ally express.

Well, I'm not sure of the date but I opened my phone only to see my balance was mow 0.00

I can't seem to find where you bring up the last 10 transactions.

It was bought at Walgreens in Brandon, VT

and my name is Laurie Miner

Vanilla Gift Cards Give me my money back!

I purchased 8 gift cards. 3 of them for $50, 1 for $70 and 4 for $500. I have had nothing but problems since I purchased them. I gave the smaller ones to my employees for a small appreciation and kept the other 4 larger ones to pay bills in the office. The guys kept telling me that they were having problems using their cards. I then went online to see the balance, and all was fine. They all showed a balance. 3 of the guys took there's back and said they would just use them online the other guy with the $70 gave me his to keep and maybe get a replacement. So, on one of the $500 card I paid the cell bill of $174.74 and one another $500 card I paid the commercial auto and another small bill. That pretty much ate all of that amount up. So, on the card that I paid the cell bill with I should've had $325.26 left. I went to go use it and it was denied. I then went on the website to check the balance and it said the card was no good. So, I called. I was on hold for about 15mins before I got to talk to someone. She told me that the card had been reported stolen, so they issue a new card. I asked to who? How is it stolen when I have the physical card, the receipt and the credit card they were purchased with. She said because of privacy issue she can't tell me anything and that I could make a report and have a new card issued in 45-90 days. I told her that makes no sense since I purchased these cards on October 13th and they had already issued a new card to someone else, but they clearly didn't have to wait 45-90 days. I asked to speak to a manager. They put me on hold for almost an hour. The "manager" finally got on the phone, I told her how long I was waiting, and she said they were busy, at first before reading these comments I told her how busy you can actually be. So, I proceeded to explain once again what happened and she said she would send the paperwork for me to fill out to get a new card issued. So, she asked the name to mail it to, I told her my company name she said no your name, I explained they were purchased for a company, on a company credit card so to mail them to the company, well she hung up on me and now I can't get through. I then went to check the balance on the other 2 $500 cards, and nothing is left on them. Someone used them at Target at 2 in the morning. I am out $1,339 total for this and can get no answer from anyone. I will never use this card again; I will tell everyone how fraudulent this company is and am going to file some kind of complaint with the BBB and am going to talk to my lawyer about filling a claim.

Update,

I spoke to someone today named Martina at card services number 844.433.7898 and was told that an email will come to me in 5 days for my dispute. I said to her that others have said they were told the same thing and no email would never come. She actually told me to never call that number again, I told her to grow a conscience and to stop stealing peoples hard earned money and to go make her own.

Both of your card yesterday and as soon as I activated it would you believe it somehow my money that I put on it has been taking off due to some company somewhere else and not only was I not able to use my card the customer service for the actual vanilla card company is unreachable to try and have anything done about it so I lose my money and the company that you know supposedly has the support to figure this s*** out basically non-existent because you can't contact them there is no number that will get you directly there to contact them emailing them is a 10-day process which they're probably not going to answer

Vanilla Gift Cards Fraud on vanilla gift card

10/26/22 I called vanilla and was told to call paypal to report the pending fraudulent trans which I did. they blocked and was investigating the payt. i was told to call vanilla back 5 days later, but their customer service goes in circles so you neva get to talk to anyone to get status on the card. Meanwhile Im out $25 and cant get this resolved. This is the 3rd time me and my husband have experience vanilla gift cards where someone has used the card before we have opened the pkg. cant reach them to get a replacement card.

Vanilla Gift Cards Complaint

My husband received a call from a "PCH" as a winner of a new car/denali. They are bringing the vehicle to the house. We would need proof if ID and would need to pay for the 1% tax for the car (Red Flag #1). However, they need us to go purchase a "Vanilla" gift card, not any other gift card (red flag #2) and get $385 on the card to put to the taxes. They said the nearest place they can see would be a CVS (Flag #3).

The guy left his number, which he called back and answered us. He asked if we had made the gift card purchase. My husband lied, sorry people who think I am a liar... I must be b/c I knew this guy was full of it and wasn't sure where he was going with getting this money. He told my husband he would be at the house from a certain city to us in 1.5 hours red flag #4- that city is actually 3 hours from us). Of course the Denali never showed up that evening. However, we did get a call the day after and guess what? The caller said, Sir, we can tell you did not purchase the card as you said. What, you are tracking the purchases of the Vanilla card in my area for a specific dollar amount? Bingo, they have hacked the system or they have an insider in Vanilla. Don't fall for it! You would beleive... well, no big deal I can use the card, I never gave the card info to them. WRONG! you would go to use the card and it would be depleted! BUYER BEWARE!

Vanilla Gift Cards Received a gift card. told it was invalid.

I received a

Vanilla gift card from my boss for 200.00. I tried to use it several times, but always came across a problem. It is now expired and again, I am unable to talk to a human about this card. How does a gift card expire? There is no information on this card and I am frustrated that I was not able to get anything for this card. I tried to use it as a debit card, but the transaction would not go through. I tried to swipe it and use it at stores. Again, the transaction would not go through. I tried to put it on my balance on my Amazon account. No luck...

Do I tell my former boss about the problem. She thought that she gave me a gift.

Card# [protected] I am trying to get a pending charge put back on my account I was told after calling everyday since Oct 24 that the pending charge would be on my card today the 28th When after several attempts because I was blocked I used my friends phone and found out that I had a small balance of.22 cents and that had even been stolen just minutes after I was told by customer service my funds are still pending So I use my friends phone since I was blocked and put on hold and could not access my account So I used my friends phone and got thru to my account that's how I found out about the.22 cents that had been taken and my funds said pending, but after the representative answer she told me my funds had been stolen I told her I had just talk to someone all day yesterday and 4 times today, then she told me my funds had was stolen but the money is still pending, she said I would have to wait another week she has to file a claim, This is not right. and I am going to do some court action if my funds are not posted, As of now my account had be taken down empty and I cannot access it and customer service refuses to answer, I don't want to file a lawsuit but I will, I have been mistreated here and want my funds right away, you need to check the employees in your circle because some one there is stealing from customers, I Done a lot of research here, I am not wrong, I will taken action if my funds are not returned to my card so that I can access them Thank [protected]@ sincerely Susie Wilkins cardholders name.

Vanilla Gift Cards Unauthorized transaction

Today, 10/26/22, I tried to use a brand new gift card. I went to Vanilla Gift to check the balance first. It said that $49.68 had already been used on a $50 gift card. I called Vanilla gift and found that there was a pending payment which they refused to cancel from PayPal for some company called Paddle.net. This complaint is for all three companies. Paypal wouldn't do anything as they couldn't even find it. But I also couldn't even talk with a real person. Paddle.net must be a scam company. They only talk with you thru robochat which can't really help you. No one acknowledged that this was an unauthorized transaction on a brand new gift card that had never been used or opened before. I don't know what else to do and figure this money is gone. I want others to be aware. Vanilla Gift won't cancel a pending transaction so the money would not be spent. Paypal wouldn't even acknowledge there was a bending unauthorized transaction. And Paddle.net won't even communicate with me so I can understand how this happened.

Desired outcome: I would like this unauthorized transaction stopped. I want other consumers to be aware of Paddled.net and to know that two big legitimate companies would not help with any pending unauthorized transaction to keep it from being made.

I purchased this card and loaded 300 dollars on it at Walmart I tried to use it multiple times but every time it declined and I had to call and wait at least a hour only to be lied to. Then I was told if I didn’t like it they would place the card as compromised and it would be at least 3 weeks then they could issue a refund but I don’t believe them after they took my money and I paid them to steal my money. I needed to pay a electric bill now I’m looking at my lower being turned off with 3 kids one with special needs ! There needs to be something done to stop them .

Vanilla Gift Cards I would have liked my money back to my gift card

Do not purchase one of these gift cards! I purchased a vanilla gift card with a limited amount (thank goodness not too much) to use at an amusement park because the park does not allow cash and I did not want to carry around a credit card that I might lose on a ride etc... At the end of the day, I went to purchase some gifts for each of my grandchildren and the purchase was denied although I knew I had not used much of the balance on the vanilla gift card. I go to my computer and check my balance only to find out my card has been used at some very sketchy website. I follow the directions to file a complaint and now 3 months later, I have heard nothing. When I started asking friends and family, I find out this happens often with vanilla gift cards. Seems extremely suspicious! Regardless, you will not get your money back. It's some type of scam for sure.

Vanilla Gift Cards I submitted my dispute form on august 9, 2022 after speaking with someone on the phone.

i explained the situation that the charges were fraudulent and emailed the merchant name and transaction date and dollar amount. i was told i would hear about the issue within 45-90 days. i emailed on oct 20, 2022 to find out the status of my claim and i have heard nothing back.

Vanilla Gift Cards Vanila Visa Gift card

I am highly disappointed and very upset in the manner in which my Unauthorized Transaction Dispute of $41.30 has been handled. It has taken over 120 days from when my initial dispute forms were submitted on 6/22/2022. I have called the phone number listed on the back of the Vanilla Visa Gift cards for updates on my Case #[protected] multiple times to no solutions. I constantly am told there are no updates, no supervisor available to escalate or that I will get an email or call within 24 - 48 business hours with no call back. I send all emails to [protected]@incomm.com with "Request read receipt" to ensure my emails have been received and read from a member of the disputes department. I just received an email that my Dispute Case #[protected] email & forms cannot be found and was requested to email them again. This dispute is out of compliance and should be coming out on a departmental report to higher management to address to the Dispute agent assigned to it. I have attached my Dispute forms and the email confirmation of my Dispute from incomm.com who is handling the dispute.

Desired outcome: I need resolution, assistance or someone with Visa Disputes to intercede for me to get my unauthorized transaction refund resolved and completed!

I have purchased a Vanilla gift card at the gas station and I came home to activate it and it says that there is a problem with the card to call customer service. I called and they told me that if I if I file fraud charges because I spoke with customer service before and they said that they would add the money to the account without getting a new card so I opted out of the fraud. I have no idea what they're talking about all I know is there were charges me to this card for places that I never even heard of I came home from the gas station went to activate it and immediately the card was says that there's something wrong with the or something wrong with it I've been trying to solve this issue for months now I put in a complaint and I still haven't heard back from anybody I'm just going in circles with this place

I bought the Vanilla Gift card from CVS as a birthday gift. I put $150.00 on the card. The next day the person tried to use the card but $149.86 was already used for CREAON TRADING CO. I tried to call to get the card cancelled for a refund to be put on a replacement card. The first time I called they hung up on me. The second time I called I asked the person Michael, that answered where he was located. He said Southeast Asia. He's telling me this will take 45 to 90 days to investigate. He did not seem willing to help me. He was reading from a script. I feel like this a scam that's being allowed to flourish in the United States. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CARD. ITS A SCAM!

I receive a $50 dollars gift card, I check balance online and card was empty, 2 charges on ebay for exact the amount of the card, try to contact customer service, the hindu that answer after 30 minutes wants my personal information to send me a form, I think the site has been hacked and phones too, Hindu was very rude and hang up. I saw several complaints and nobody is doing anything!

Vanilla Gift Cards Card is being declined; customer service # on the back of card is being rerouted to a call center

I purchased a Visa Vanilla Gift card to pay my internet bill this morning. When I attempted to call the number on the back I was rerouted to a call center where the rep offered me a walmart gift card and wanted me to pay 1.95 when I said No they hung up. This happened THREE TIMES! I finally got thru to a different number they are saying they are going to deactivate this card and mail me a new one. But they cant tell me how much will be on the new card. I feel that their systems have been hacked I need my money because my bill is due TODAY! Someone needs to fix this!
