My family and I dine at the council bluffs, Iowa VI at least 3 times per week for several years. I hope that we have to select another restraunt to patron. As Americans, I do hope that Vzi will support America and Americans by supporting the ban against the NFL for the disgrace and disrespect they have demonstrated. Vow to not play NFL on televisions within the restraunt until this issue is resolved.

We are in the Village Inn in Salt Lake City and the manager is in the back office training someone on budgets while the waitress on the floor is slammed. Another lady (that my boyfriend and I were joking about being a weirdo because she kept showing us clothes from a yard sale she just went to) asked if she could help. The manager said "you can't work off the clock so wait until I go back in the office and can't see you. "
We thought she was kidding and next thing we know the woman who was just at a yard sale and had not washed her hands is plating our food & wiping tables and grabbing her boots to show people then plating someone else's food. This is absolutely DISGUSTING and the heath department will be the next to be notified.

My family and I dine at Village Inn located near 31st and Memorial in Tulsa quite frequently. Typically my youngest son and i split up our order of the Pick 4 which includes a double order of bacon. Today we were inforned that the restaurant is under new management with a corporate directive that the pick 4 must be 4 different items even though the substitution and additional items can be the same. For the life of logic and reason, why offer a la carte but limit to groupings because of a description. The excuses made by their management team over something that means nothing is quite disturbing. Therefore, we will not frequent any Village Inn in the future.

We just walked out of the VI on Broadway and Centennial. We saw the "asst." manager talking to a friend in the parking lot, she was very aware that we were going in. We went in and there was no one working the front. We saw one server who was busy with customers. We waited a few more minutes and then left. The Asst. mgr. saw us leave - even waved! We went up the road to an Applebees and surprise we were greeted at the door and welcomed. We have been weekly customers for years and sad to say this restaurant is going down the tube. The mgr. never walks around and visits, usually she is in the back hanging over a rail visiting with friends. The place is dirtier than it used to be. It seems to be a social club for employees. It hasn't been good since Brian left. There are 2 servers who are very good - Joy and Regan.

At the Roy Utah location there were a group of them smoking pot. They came inside smelling of weed and sprayed themselfs down with some perfume which went across the whole resturant. Then maddie was talking very loudly of another server feeling suicidal saying that shes faking it for attention. We were sitting across from another table and maddie apologized for not getting over to them faster because she had to "deal with a past co worker wanting to [censored] for stupid reasons" saying it loud enough for a few other tables to hear and turn some heads. I want to see maddie get fired, or better yet just shut down that whole location. If they are smoking weed outside and talking badly of other co workers and past co workers. No one will want to come to this location.

to whom this may concern.it is so sad for me to have to send this complaint about village inn.in general it is a great restaurant with great food, but this 1 village inn is the worst I have ever eaten in.i went on 9/4/17 to the restaurant at n.dale mabry and Humphries store #110549 at 9:45a, I left at 11:09a.it was 10:45a I still didn't have my breakfast, service a nightmare, they had no bacon, luckily I didn't order.they had no small little containers to put creamers in, server had to bring and then brought me just a few no variety.my server was ardel, sorry he does not belong in server service.sorry the manager was just as incompetent as he was.worst management I have ever seen.i was not even given a discount or offered a service discount on my bill.food was lousy that day by the way.restaurant dirty.so so sad that upper management has not done something about this one restaurant, others so nice and clean.will not return to this one. hope corporate can correct these issues.

Good afternoon, my name is Shannon and I am a recent employee of the Village Inn in Virginia Beach. I am about to quit because I found, and took a picture of a "log book" laying out on a desk, talking about all the horrible things fellow employees are doing during the day. The picture attached is what they wrote about me, but there are worse things about other employees in there. From what this looks like, this was supposed to be for managers, but was left out in the open for everyone to see. I do not feel this is professional for a family friendly business and do not feel comfortable as an employee knowing this exists no matter what intention it has. Also, part of my findings is lots of talk of heavy drug use among the server/hostess and cooking staff, not only "marijuana", but "shrooms" and "cocaine" also. I accidently walk into what looks like a Drug deal that happen in the employee bathroom area and have overheard conversations of "meetings" at the back of the location and drinking on the job, not just by servers and cooks, but by management also. The management hasn't put me on the schedule since learning I had a picture of the log book, but they haven't also told me that I've lost my job. I don't know what to do in this situation and would like advice.. please help?

July 31, 2017; @ 5:35 pm, my family of 4 went to your 108th and L, Omaha NE location. I am appalled at the waitresses behavior and manager. There were 2 other tables pkus ours, so it was dead. Manager was on a phone call and neved acknowledged us. It took 4 min to be seated. Waitress, dark hair, took 22 min to take our order. Took 30 min to get our food. My daughter's crepe ended up with a hair in it. Neither the manager nor waitress offered an apology, nor a discount. Just brought her another crepe. 2 elderly ladies stood, to pay their bill, for oved 5 min and took it upon themselves to get mngr out of kitchen! Our bill was $49.52 including the hair filled crepe. I left a penny as a tip for the awful service. I've waitressed before so I've done her job before! This waitress chased us down, in the parking lot, in a threatening manner! She acted like she was going to assault me! She said "excuse me, I make $2.13 an hour. You need this penny more than me!" and tossed it at us! Appauling behavior! You dont chase a customer down! She needs to be fired! Is this what you want representing your company? I dont know hef name, but you can surely research it. Ive posted my experience on Facebook, and depending on how you handle it; twitter and snapchat are next! Word of mouth ruins a business.
Fire her and somehow fix this situation with me. I will never go back to your restaurant. If she still has a job!

My girlfriend was hired with a known disability and has since been labeled out. There was also sexual condentation envolved. The worst of all of this was the derogatory remarks shown because of her native American blood. There were remarks regarding her breast implants. We have the backing of her loyal customers to support the ineptness of the entire managerial staff.

My family and friends went to Village Inn in Bentonville Arkansas. We were with two other couples period when the waitress came to us we told her that we wanted separate tickets. We proceeded to order. My husband asked for better for his biscuit twice and she never brought it. I asked for napkins 4 times finally I got up and got the napkins myself. When she brought the check it was all together. The piece of pie I had ordered she charged me for an entire pie. I got the grown-up grilled cheese sandwich I have gotten it many times before. I always say I want wheat bread instead of white. On the check she charged me a dollar twenty for bread for changing from white to wheat. Then we went to check out and the lady rang me up wrong. So she thought she would charge what she didn't ring up on mine on my friends ticket the time before when I had went and ordered the grown-up grilled cheese I always order it with no tomatoes. We were sitting where I could see the kitchen and I watched my waitress with no gloves on take the top of my sandwich off take the Tomato off the sandwich put the bread back on and bring it to me. Taking the Tomato off still leaves tomato juices all over the sandwich not to mention she was handling my food with her hands that she had just been carrying dirty dishes back to the back with. That to me is just inexcusable. I don't believe I will ever be back and I definitely will tell everyone I know not to go also.
First off in 30 years I have NEVER been charged more for wheat bread. If it was, she should of said, there will be an upcharge for that! She did not. I did remind her to separate the checks. She told me they can do it at the register. I also reminded her I needed napkins 4 times, that i had to end up getting my self. My husband reminded her 2 times for butter, that he never got by the way. She did NOT LISTEN! I went to the register and told the girl exactly what I had got. I then showed her my coupon that I had for buy one get one free. I also had to tell her i got one slice of pie not a whole pie, that she was trying to charge me for. She then told me a price and it was what it usually is with the coupon that I pay. So I assumed that she had done it right. AGAIN NOT LISTENING! We left the incompetent waitress a very sufficient tip. My father just two days before had left her a $20 tip for a bill that was less than $15 and she was just as incompetent that time.As for you whoever you are can kiss my [censor]. I do have a job thank you very much. My 4 year old grandaughter plays waitress and does a better job than she. I have waited tables and could of waited on half of the restaurant by myself and done a better job. If this is the response that I get I need to go to a higher level. It was not my fault nor anyone at my tables fault that the waitress was incompetent and could not listen. So you need to shut the Hell up!

I am emailing you to inform you that your restaurant manager at your centennial store is an unstable, manipulative, lying, thieving person and she knowingly went and slept with my boyfriend and then bragged about it as well as smoking meth. Now I know the village Inn image you so proudly uphold does not approve of this image and since she believes she can do as she pleases without regard for another person's feelings I trust this matter will be handled justly. I have been going back and forth with ms. Anderson for a year now. I had even contacted her halfway house, the haven, where she was until recently and they had even placed her on disciplinary action and a no contact order with my then boyfriend. Well since her departure from the haven she is back to her old ways and using meth again and boosting of it. She even used her daughter's name to send it and the smoking is meth because that's what he does and they used to do it together before she was arrested in 2014
food poisoning from chicken pot pie
Ate at Village Inn yesterday evening and ordered a chicken pot pie. It was my first and last pot pie that I will ever get from them. I had severe diarrhea only 2 hours after eating it, then throughout the night I was vomiting. I paid $9 to puke and miss work. I have never gotten this sick from a restaurant before and although the service we received was great, the food made me regret our decision of having family dinner at that establishment.

We bought the caramel pecan silk sup. We were disappointed. We bought when our family was over for dinner and they also did not like it. I don't know how to explain it but the pie was only cream nothing else. We have had pies before in village inn but this was not the same one .
We wanted to return it but it got late in the night so we were not able to.

Me and my grandfather love coming to Village inn, granted we always go to the Village inn on Litchfield Road. The one time I go without him to the Village inn on Northern avenue right off the 101 in Glendale Arizona and it is terrible. First me and my friend were convinced it was Wednesday.. So I was excited for free pie.. My waitress answered question like.. "What pies are for free?" and gave a comment to ensure it was Wednesday, "I don't usually work Wednesdays".. She gets me the pie still convinving me its wednesday and I go to pay for my meal. She was also training a new waitress and that scares me. I was sure this was the manager ringing me up due to his fancy shirt and slick back hair.. He was a Latino man, bulky and was working April 27th 2017 at 10am. I request my pie be taking off due to it being Wednesday. He tells me its thursday and calls me psycho as a joke because my shirt had the word. He continues with "well I hope this doesn't break your budget" I was insulted and upset about this all day. I needed to tell someone how this business on Northen avenue and the loop 101 is treating their customers and will be losing any of my future service there. I'm appauled, insulted and afraid there are more like this.

I was in village in about 30 min ago having breakfast with my kids and family, first the meals took forever to come out and when they did the server Alicia brought out like 3 meals first then minutes later another 2 meals the last meal which we had to ask for at least twice took along time and it was one of the kids food, my pancakes came like 5 minutes after getting my meal cold, hard pancakes, to be exact I never got my jalapeños my daughters yogurt, and fruit my friend never got her milk and part of her meal, the side of macaroni that we ask for was split into 2 different plates I don't understand why, I ask to speak to the manager, he did come out after several minutes it just seem like he was rushing me while I was trying to explain the issues that we've been having, all he said was I will take off the sides of macaroni and the milk when your ready to pay he left the server never came back to even ask if we needed anything or apalogize at least we had to ask another server for some water, when she did come to the table to bring our ticket I ask to see the manager at the register, the manager Sanjay honestly was so rude I try to explain all the issues including the service and that I've been there before and never had an issue until today he said ok we already talked about this along time I already discount food of for you ok ...I ask I'm sorry how long you been working here he responded 22 years, im sorry but for a manager that's been there 22 years he should at least be polite and have or least try to handle a complaint better than trying to rush people out of there . I'm manager my self at Ihop, I'm a server and cook as well half of the time and to me our guest come first and anything that's goes wrong in my restaurant I make sure to fix in the best way that I can and make sure my guest come back not scaring them away with my attitude . I'm just really disappointed especially when it comes to the kids waiting more than 10 min for food (macaroni) and the manager I'm sorry but this has been the worst experience in restaurant for me .On top of this i ask for the phone number to corporate office or the supervisor above and the manager wrote down a number that is incorrect to me that is like laughing in face .

My famkly visited your village inn restaurant in brandon florida on lumsden rd.
At approximately1015pm
After waiting about 10 minutes for someone to seat us at table.
My mom is in a wheelchair.
The manager just looks at us and tells us the server is in the back of the store busy.
Finally after 10 minutes and seated
We waited for a menu.
After another 8 minutes the waitress comes and then just walks away
Another 5 minutes and she dfinally takes our drink order
Only to disappear for another 8 minutes
Well now its 1040 pm AND we still havent given our order for food.
My opinion this establishment is notbeing managed correctly. And the servers dont care about the people or the place.

I was supposed to start today as a dishwasher and chelsey was absolutely great. My problem is that all the restaurants in flagstaff expect the employees to do two man jobs for very little amount of money. I worked at the Grand Canyon and I was the top dishwasher and cook. You could keep good people if you would change that pronto. I am sick of what goes on and I will not look for anymore work until this is fixed I have never seen businesses ran this way unless they are too cheap to pay people the correct amount for the amount of work they do.
