Wanelo Review: A Total Letdown with No Customer Service or Integrity
I gotta say, Wanelo is a total letdown. I mean, I tried to give them a fair shake, but they just don't deserve it. The only reason I'm giving them one star is because they forced me to rate them in order to leave a review. If it were up to me, I'd give them negative stars. That's how bad they are.
Let me tell you a little story. A few months ago, I ordered a prom dress from a company called "YEP Fashion" through Wanelo. They promised me that the dress would arrive in plenty of time for the big dance. But guess what? It didn't. I had to scramble to find another dress at the last minute, which was a total nightmare.
So I contacted Wanelo to get a refund. They told me they would look into it and get back to me. But did they? Nope. I've sent them countless emails and made numerous phone calls, but no one will get back to me. It's like they don't even care.
And get this: I even tried to contact the CEO of Wanelo, Deena Varshavskaya, and she won't respond to me either. What kind of company is this? They have no integrity, no customer service, and no respect for their customers.
I'm not the only one who's been scammed by Wanelo, either. If you check out their Better Business Bureau rating, you'll see that they have a D-. That's right, a D-. That's practically failing. And it's no wonder, considering how many people they've ripped off.
Honestly, I think there should be legal action taken against Wanelo. They can't just get away with scamming people like this. We deserve our refunds, and we deserve to be treated with respect. But until they start taking responsibility for their actions, I wouldn't recommend anyone use their site. It's just not worth the risk.

I feel like Wanelo uses poor companies that frustrate their customers. I wish we had had a better experience with this site. Now we're stuck with a dress that has never even been tried on.

I had a really bad experience with Wanelo. I ordered something from them and never received it. When I tried to contact them, they didn't respond to me at all. Wanelo Review: Disappointed with Knock-Offs and Poor Customer Service
I recently made a purchase on Wanelo, and I must say, I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered two shirts from two different shops, and both of them were nothing like the pictures or descriptions provided on the website. The first shirt was supposed to be a teal tunic top with sequin arrows down the arms. However, what I received was a cheap long sleeve shirt with arrows made from scrap fabric that were sewn on by an inexperienced person. It was a complete knock-off of the original image, and I am assuming that the store did not even use their own photo. The second shirt was also a tunic style top with sequin accents in the sleeves and pocket. However, what I received was a basic long sleeve shirt with sections of the sleeve cut out and replaced with more scrap fabric that was sewn in very carelessly. The color and size were both wrong, and it was not anything like the picture or description. I was sold a knock-off of a boutique shirt, and I am extremely disappointed.
I have read through some of the reviews on Wanelo, and I have noticed that this is a recent and ongoing problem. I used to love Wanelo, but now I am not so sure. Why on earth is Wanelo allowing these stores to sell their crap on this site? I have sent emails to Wanelo to voice my concern and request a full refund, but I have yet to receive any response. Wanelo is a company that knows how to handle problems when they arise. I had some issues with my order, but the way they handled it turned me into a loyal customer. She gave me multiple options to choose from so I could pick the solution that worked best for me. And within just 72 hours of reaching out to them, my package arrived!
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Wanelo. They really know how to take care of their customers, and I'm a customer for life now!

The Wanelo site made it seem like the prom dresses were made by a designer who had just started in the business and was making the dresses herself. We also thought the location was in Pennsylvania. But after searching the web and trying to find out more information about this company, we went on a wild goose chase only to find out that the dresses actually come from China. Lesson learned: always do your research on any company that's selling things super cheap and doesn't list a direct customer service number in the US. I've read so many bad reviews on Wanelo, and it's very misleading. I won't be making this mistake again. Check the return policy and make sure the company's full address is listed on the website. I followed up with Amanda multiple times, but unfortunately, she seemed too busy to provide me with any clear guidance or even communicate with me without pasting a response. It was frustrating to feel like I was not being heard or valued as a potential member of the Wanelo community.
I understand that Wanelo wants to manually approve businesses to ensure that they are supporting good companies, but I do think that there should be clearer guidelines and more transparency in the approval process. It would be helpful if Wanelo could indicate precisely what is required to become a part of their community, so that newer businesses don't have to go through the same frustrating experience that I did.
As a community manager, Amanda could also benefit from engaging with the community more effectively. Copy-pasting responses and failing to address customers by name can make them feel like they are not being heard or valued. It's important to remember that the consumer/service provider relationship is a two-way street, and that clear communication is key to building a strong community.
Overall, I like Wanelo and enjoy using the app to browse products. However, I do think that there are some areas where the company could improve, particularly in terms of customer service and transparency. It's been a month since I first contacted Wanelo, and I have yet to receive a response. For a company that has been funded around 100 million, I would expect them to have a larger customer service department and be more responsive to customer inquiries.

Wanelo Prom Dress Nightmare: A Complete Scam
So, my daughter decided to order a dress from Wanelo for her prom. We were both excited to see the dress that she had picked out online. However, when we received the dress, it was nothing like the one that was shown on the website. It was a huge disappointment for both of us.
We decided to return the dress, but it turned out to be a nightmare. The dress was shipped from China, and trying to return it was a joke. I had to have email conversations with a person named Naomi from Wanelo for two weeks just to get instructions on how to return the dress. All of her emails came through in the middle of the night, which was quite odd.
I asked Naomi to call me several times, but she never did. Finally, I got an address to send the dress back to. However, the return address was in Minnesota, which was strange because I live in South Dakota. After I returned the dress to the address, I received a call from the person who received it. They told me that it was a private address and that they had no idea why I had sent them a dress.
I apologized and asked them to return the dress, and I promised to cover the costs. They agreed to return it, but after two months and several more calls to them, I never received the dress. I think that they are in on the scam with Wanelo!
I would never recommend ordering from this company. They are a complete scam, and I will never order from them again. I hope that others will read this review and avoid making the same mistake that I did. Wanelo, please don't bother sending me a response trying to make amends. I will never order from your company again.
Wanelo Review: Disappointing Customer Service and Long Wait Times for Orders
I gotta say, I was pretty stoked when I first stumbled upon Wanelo. I mean, who doesn't love finding new and exciting things to buy? And this site seemed legit, you know? Like, I felt pretty confident that my hard-earned cash was in good hands. But boy, was I wrong.
So I placed my first order, all excited to get my hands on whatever cool thing I had just bought. And then...nothing. For FOUR MONTHS. I mean, what the heck, right? I tried contacting Wanelo SIX TIMES over those four months, hoping to get some answers. But nope, nothing. Just a bunch of empty promises and reassurances that the problem would be solved.
Finally, after the sixth time I reached out, they promised me a refund within 24 hours. And guess what? FOUR DAYS LATER, still no refund. I mean, come on. They acted all apologetic and concerned, but clearly they didn't give a crap about my problem.
Honestly, I'm super disappointed in this site. The only good thing that came out of this whole debacle is that I'm no longer obsessed with Wanelo. So...thanks for that, I guess?
Update: After many frustrating months, I FINALLY got my refund. But honestly, it was way too little, way too late. I won't be using this site again anytime soon.
Poor Payout Process: My Experience with Wanelo on Shopify
Wanelo is a company that you can use on Shopify as a sales channel. However, I would not recommend using them because of my experience with their payout process. I had a customer order on June 9th and the package was delivered on June 18th. According to their policy, they are supposed to start processing my payout when the package starts tracking in transit, which was on June 16th. However, it is now August 5th and I still have not been paid for any orders.
Every time I email them about my payout, I get the run around. They tell me it will be 3 to 5 days, or they say they will check on it, or they claim they don't know what is wrong. They even asked if they could expedite my check. It seems like they have all kinds of excuses for not paying me. They are now saying that hopefully in 5 to 7 more days, I will get my payout and that a manager is working on it. But I have heard all kinds of promises from them before, so I am not holding my breath.
Their service is really poor. In my experience, they never payout for orders. I am still waiting for my payout, which was supposed to be deposited in my bank account weeks and weeks ago. Today, they emailed me saying that if they mail a check, it will be mailed the 3rd week of August. But who knows if that's true? I am still waiting and getting frustrated with their lack of communication and slow payout process.
Warning: Dishonest and Unhelpful - My Experience with Wanelo Shopping
This website, Wanelo, is not a good place to shop. They are very dishonest and they hide behind emails and a customer service 800 number. The only way to communicate with them is through a message box, which is not very helpful. I had a problem with my order, I ordered a 40cm with silver hardware but I received a 35cm with gold hardware instead. This is not the first time I have had problems with this website, I have had three other problems with this order.
I would like to warn everyone to be careful when ordering from this website. Make sure you get the correct item and hardware. Shipping takes a very long time and the customer service is not very helpful. They only take messages and it takes up to two days for them to call back. This does not include if you have any problems or returns.
It is no wonder that Amazon is number one and making billions of dollars. I will not be shopping on this website again. It has been two months since I requested a refund and I still have not received it. There is no customer service 800 number, just a message box. I left several messages requesting a call back but I was hung up on each and every time during the call without a call back to rectify the situation.
The so-called customer service representative would send an email promising a refund since January 28, 2018, but as of February 23, 2018, I still have not received it. I would not recommend this website to anyone.
Wanelo Review: Terrible Experience Buying Shoes, Order Cancelled & Wrong Item Received
I tried to buy the air max 90 anniversary cork from Wanelo, but after waiting for 41 days, I found out that the shoe was not available and my order was cancelled. It was a real hassle, and I had to contact my credit card company to get my money back. My fianc? also tried to buy the same shoes from another seller on the app, but she received a completely different shoe instead. Even though she noticed the mistake on the same day the shoes were shipped, she still received the wrong shoes. She sent an email to cancel the order, but the shoes were sent anyway. If the shoes they sent were nice and of good quality, we would have kept them, but they were the worst replicas we have ever seen.
We tried to contact Wanelo, but we only received a computer-generated email response. It was frustrating, and we felt like giving up. We don't understand how Wanelo is still in business with so many bad reviews. If you're ordering products like shirts and miscellaneous items that cost $10-$20, then maybe this site is okay. I've been using Wanelo for a while now and I have to say, I'm pretty happy with it. I know there are a lot of negative reviews out there, but I think people need to understand that Wanelo is just a platform that connects you to thousands of different online stores. If someone buys something from me through Wanelo, it's just like any other order, but I can't contact the buyer directly.
So, my advice to anyone using Wanelo is to do your research. If you find something you like, take a few minutes to google the merchant and check them out outside of Wanelo. Wanelo Review: Not Worth the Hassle for Sellers - High Fees, Payment Holds, and Difficult Account Cancellation
Wanelo is a website that you should be careful with. I had my site closed, but I received an order from the Wanelo sales channel (first one I've had). I was out of town, but still got it shipped in my 7-10 business day shipping time frame. I couldn't contact the buyer; it was a generic Wanelo email address. Emails were returned, not delivered. Luckily, she had looked at my website and realized it was closed. So she emailed me directly. I let her know it was fine, and when I expected it to ship.
Then I realized they hold sellers' payments for 30 days after the item ships, AND they require items to be shipped within 5 days. Yeah. Nope. I disconnected it from my Shopify site, but I want to cancel my Wanelo account. Their help page says there is a link on the "store settings" page. I've looked literally 50 times. Nothing. Its always a bad sign when a company makes it hard to cancel. Scammish. I'm surprised Shopify is sort of "partnering" with them... I think they'll be getting a complaint from me about it.
And then there are the reviews. TERRIBLE. Unless you drop ship or sell cheap pre-made junk from China... I'd stay away from it! They take 15%. They're crazy. I mean, why would you want to give away 15% of your hard-earned money? That's just not right. I don't know what they're thinking. It's like they're trying to scam people or something.

Last month, I decided to buy a black FEYONCE shirt from the Three Two One store on Wanelo as a gift for my friend who recently got engaged. I placed the order on Thursday, December 31st, and was informed that it would take 5-7 days for delivery. However, since December 31st and January 1st were both holidays, I waited for a full 5 business days before inquiring about the order status.
To my surprise, I hadn't received any ship notification from Wanelo yet. So, I contacted their Customer Service team, and they informed me that it takes 3-5 business days to process and prepare an order, in addition to the 5-7 days for delivery. They also assured me that I would receive an email when the item ships.
I waited for a few more days, but there was still no update on the order status. On January 13th, I decided to inquire again via email. It had been 7 business days since I placed the order, and the order was still marked as "processing" on the Wanelo site. To make matters worse, my card was charged for the order on Saturday, January 2.
Despite my repeated attempts to contact Customer Service via email and phone, I received no response. I am now considering disputing the charge with my credit card company to get my money back. It's frustrating that Wanelo charged me for the order right away but hasn't shipped it even after almost two weeks.
In conclusion, I am extremely disappointed with Wanelo's service. I will never order from them again and would advise others to be cautious before placing an order on their site.

This company has had my money since Oct 2022 and I purchased many items on the same and received everything but 2 products in December of 2022 which they estimated to having all my products to be deliverd the same time, 2 pair of my shoes that was orderd I never recieved and now where in June 2023 which has been over 9 months since I orderd product which came up to a total of $208.96 cents which is alot of money, I reacherd out to this company the y never pick up the phone and I have email them over 200 times and its always the same answer how there sorry and understand how I feel but no solution on why my product has not been shipped and they continue to say management will get back to me for ovver 3 months strait, where finally I received and email and they said they were going to honor my refund after hounding them for 8 months strait and said the refund would take 10 to 15 business days were I willl see the money back on my card and that was over a month ago and when I try to reach out to inquire about my refund they dont have any answers, I work hard for my money and this is not fare for my money to be stolen and nothing done for a product I never received that I payed for.
Desired outcome: I want a full refund of the 208.96 cents that was spent and I want a credit for my pain and suffering of what this has done to me mentally

Yes, I purchased a shirt April 21,2023 and I have been emailing them multiple times. Due to not receiving my order it’s going on 2 months. I have asked for a refund multiple times all I get that they are working on getting my order out. This website is a scam and it’s hard even trying to talk to someone. They make you leave a message but never gets back to you.
