I had been an Advanced Disposal customer (account P8029402) for several years. In May 2023 I received a notice that I owed $13.50, which I paid on 5/7/2023 (see attachment). I continued to pay Advanced Disposal the quarterly charge until I was informed that I should now be paying Waste Management. I was given a new account number [protected] for my next payment on 9/1/2023.
I was never informed that Waste Management took over from Advanced Disposal, so my $13.50 payment went to the Advanced Disposal account, as did my $66 charge on 6/1/2023. Consequently, I continue to receive overdue notices from Waste Management and warnings that my services will be terminated.
If Waste Management took over Advanced Disposal, you now have its assets, which includes my $13.50 payment!
I have attempted on several occasions to resolve this issue by calling [protected], to no avail. I hope this effort will finally resolve the issue.
Desired outcome: Acknowledge in writing that the debt has been paid (forgive the debt) and drop the action to stop my service.
