we stopped at Wendys in Dale, IN on our way home from vacation. We ordered our food, had to ask for cups. We went to fill our cups, the machine was out of diet coke. Another customer walked by and said you will be pushing buttons all day to get something, everything is empty. There were no napkins. While eating we watched an employee lay across the counter where food is served. Also he lifted his shirt exposed his whole belly and chest and used his shirt to wipe his mouth. Another employee was texting on her phone when i went and ask for diet coke behind the counter

On Tuesday, September 2, 2022, I learned that Wendy's Policy for Grubhub, DoorDash, & Uber Eat's pickup's is NOT EFFECTIVE. Your policy is to sit pickup order's by the front door, on a designated book shelf, for store #10, 462 Chancellor Avenue, Newark, NJ 07112, for ANYONE, not just the pickup service, to pick up food that was ordered, and walk out of the door with it. Grubhub picked up what was SUPPOSED TO BE my food from Wednesday, totaling $20.69, and brought me an order for $10.50, which was not my order. I had to then walk to Wendy's & back home, because I was sent the entire wrong order, because someone else stole my order from the shelf, that their policy is directing their employees to do. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE & UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Upon returning this order, I was not apologized to, I was not given ANYTHING complimentary, but instead was just given the proper order, and then had to WALK back home..
Desired outcome: Wendy's needs to change that policy of sitting people's food order's on a shelf by the front door, for just anyone to take and just walk out of the door with. This is for the store #10 (I think) 462 Chancellor Avenue, Newark, NJ, 07112

you do not allow a mobile app customer to pay cash at the store when picking up an order I went the other day and could not believe that you won't take cash the app gives you no option to use cash even when going on to the store for pickup I did not have a credit card on me so I had to leave with my hands empty and the $30 to $40 dollar lunch order for our office unfulfilled I assume you still take cash from eat in orders If I am picking up I should be able to use cash

lack of readiness
place a mobile order so I can pick it up right in the parking lot of my job. I ordered the maple bacon chicken crossant with the season potats and a drink.
Upon arriving to the drive up I was told hole on and they will be right there. Then when helped i pulled forward. once at the windown recieved drink and asked to pull forward becasue waiting on food. Then advised that they don't have bacon. I had nobody behind me and said i was staying at the window. there was already someone pulled to the side waiting on food. I said to make the sandwich without the bacon that I had to be to work.
I am not sure what has happened at this store. But, the crew that was there before ran the store great.
I want to know how can you open a store at 630 in the morning and NOT have things ready. Knowing that you will need bacon and other things all day long. I get things happen and things go wrong. I didn't complain before when i did a moble order and get there lights were on and cars in parking lot but no staff to be had.
Desired outcome: I would like to see staff to be more accountable and be there and having things done or preped.

Tonight, September 18th, I drove through the drive through to order a salad. I waited over 25 minutes in line before getting served which I would happily overlooked if the rest of the experience had been better. Once it was finally my turn to order, I asked for the summer strawberry salad and was told "we don't have that. It's not summer." So then I asked if I could have the apple pecan chicken salad and got this response, "We don't have that." I still wasn't upset even though the girl taking my order was short tempered and rude. So then I said, "do you have the avocado chicken salad. She said yes. I waited ten minutes before getting to the window. No "hello," no "thank you." and she never asked if I wanted a receipt. Instead she shoved the bag out to me and proceeded to turn away. Okay, a bad experience but I moved on UNTIL I got home. The avocado chicken salad was absolutely terrible. The lettuce was wilted, there was barely any cheese on it, I was afraid to even taste the tomatoes since they looked so withered. To top it off the lettuce was warm. I took one bite and threw it away. Basically, I should have taken $9.00 out of my purse and thrown it out the window.
Desired outcome: Also, I would like a refund for the salad. I really don't desire a gift card or food coupon for Wendys because it will take me a long time to get the disgusting taste of that salad out of my mind.

I went to the drive thru of Wendy’s in Boise, Idaho at 8610 West Overland at 11:30 pm on Saturday September 17th 2022.
After a long day of flying and airports I was starving. I asked a very rude and hard to understand younger man for a #7 double with a large coke and fry.
He proceeded to tell me they were out of meat and could only provide me with a single.
“We are out of meat, we need to save it for… other customers. Is a single ok?” Exact words with the pause in the middle of his sentence. And they had shut down the ice cream as we asked for a frosty. I found this to be absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never heard or experienced such an unprofessional and rude rebake through a fast food restaurant.
I pulled up to the window and took my food without saying anything. They were inside cleaning up the entire place. There was still 30 minutes left of being open until midnight. Plus I did not get what I ordered. No bacon. Burger was undercooked, and the fries were mush. I am beside myself that people like this are hired anywhere! Is it acceptable to clean up and tell customers you are out of products before closing? Rude customer service and terrible food! I will never return to that Wendy’s again. If I were an owner of that store, I would be very careful about who I hire and allow to run my store while I am trying to run a business. Also I would check to see who it was working on sep. 17th 2022 at my location. 8610 w overland boise, Idaho.

I went to Wendy's on the corner of Jack Martin blvd and rt 70 at the drive-thru I ordered a pretzel pub burger a hamburger and large fries and a large strawberry lemonade I got everything except the hamber after the guy who took the order repeated it to us twice plus I never got a receipt for tge order so I went inside spoke to the manager and after she did something on the computer the hamburger didn't show up on the new receipt but that's ok because for that stupid $4.00 burger you lost a customer forever and we usually spend atleast 100.00 a week in Wendy's so enjoy your stolen hamburger and forget about us we will take our business to five guys they don't steal from there customers

I came to get food at this wendys #3274 host fathia. As I am getting my card to pay she says “ you some [censored]” I said excuse me? She said ohh I wasn’t talking to you and started at me. When I approached the next window to get my food they were laughing and said ohh i’m sorry she is nice no need to complain. I threw the food away because i’m afraid they spit in it! I work long hours and got off at 11:30 pm on 9/14/2022 and decided to get dinner from Wendy’s store number [protected]. I told them I would like to order a triple meat pretzel bun hamburger combo with a large fry and large drink. I also ordered a pretzel bun chicken sandwich combo also large fry. After waiting for almost 30 minutes in a parked area I received my two paper bags. I then drove off and retreated to my home which was 20 minutes away. When I my got home and sat at the table to eat I opened the bags to find that there were hardly ANY fries in either box, I was very upset and decided to go ahead and eat I opened my burger to find that I had received a single hamburger with nothing but pickles, no pretzel bun, no bacon, no anything. My wife received a regular chicken sandwich with only pickles as well. Also completely incorrect. We then closed the bags and decided to drive all the way back to Wendy’s to complain and have our order remade. When we got to the drive through window the kid accused us of lying and told us to give him the already contaminated bags that had been touched by everyone and he brought them back into the store through the window. As he stood there holding our bags he was checking his phone. He told us that he was not able to locate our order number in the system and I was flabbergasted having just left there 30 minutes ago. After 20 minutes of both parties arguing the order was remade. He said for all of our troubles he threw in a 10 piece chicken nugget for free. When we received the new order the box of fries were still low and extremely cold as if they had been sitting there for and hour. There also was 4 cold chicken nuggets and not 10 hot ones as he claimed to have given us “ for all our troubles “. J spent 30 dollars on mine and my girlfriend’s dinner and it was absolute trash. The management at this location was appalling. I have worked in fast food restaurants before and I have NEVER seen or heard of any employee taking contaminated food and bringing it back in the store. That is the most disgusting thing. Wendy’s needs to compensate me for this absolute treacherous experience and money loss.
Desired outcome: I would like some kind of gift card or coupon that allows me to get my money back or the couple of meals that I ordered back for no cost.

1. 9:05 am, pulled into the drive through. 3rd car back
2. Ordered a honey chicken biscuit and Med. Coke
3. Waited, waited, waited. Finally # 1 car pulled off
4. Waited, waited, waited. Finally # 2 car received his order But it went back through the window, wrong drinks, then wrong food. Waited again. 17minutes later # 2 car drove away.
5. I finally got to the widow and she said $ 3.68. I ask her to check again and she told me the coke was $2.29 and that was why my bill was so high. I said check again. She was only charging for a biscuit only. My bill was $6.25 with tax.
6. She gave me a small coke, ( I sent it back for the medium) and a heavy bag. I pulled up as not to block behind me and guess what! I had some kind of sandwich with several meats on it.
7. I open my door to walk back to the drive through and another employee was going in and I told her the problem. She came back out with 2 chicken biscuits and told me they were new employees. I left. The time was 9:45am

The biscuit was so hard when I tried to bite it that the complete biscuit shattered into pieces leaving the over cooked chicken still in my hand, so I got the 2nd one out and it was the same.
I have been a customer at this location since it opened. I watched the cars today, pull in and then leave. I would have left but I was boxed in. Our community needs these fast food restaurants. Wendy's has lost the battle here and are not taking care of there customers. So Sad. Won't go back unless neighbors feedback is given.
Desired outcome: a reliable manager to take over and show the employee's how to work. It looked like a circus through the window. It was embarrassing to see this.

We had planned to dine in, but we were in a bit of a hurry and after waiting 20 minutes, we decided to carry out of just leave.
After about 25 minutes we got our order. As I drove and ate, I felt like I was chewing gravel. I had to pull over on the highway and spit it out. (This is the same location where I once got food poisoning. I hadn't been back since, so never again for me).
The floors and tables were greasy and the staff seamed rushed and confused.

Ordered large Chili, baked potato with sour cream chives, single with cheese, bourbon bacon burger combo. The bacon burger had 2 tiny pieces of bacon and no sauce. Fries nasty. Potato overdone. no chili available. Unable to credit online order for the large chili so gave a 99 cent small frostyfor a 3.49 chili. Got home and had to return to redo because all was disgusting. Second order no better. Fries not edible, burger again 2 little pieces of bacon and dry. Staff sitting on counter. Never again

Have eaten there for many years, we are both 70. Today we ordered 2 double Baconators, 2 cokes, 1 Fries, 1 Taco Salad. The Baconators were very, very greasy, the fries inedible, the salad had old lettuce, and 10 miles down the road we realized we did not get our drinks. The food was absolutely awful. The cashier was slovenly. There was no receipt, I think we were over charged at least #10.00. The bill was $35.55 for 2 awful meals. So disappointed and dissatisified.
Handicap service violation
This is concerning your Wendy's 604 A Ave West, Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577. I am handicapped and ride either a handicap scooter or three wheel tricycle. For the last three years I order at the drive through because you have no where to safely secure my $3,200 trike and go inside. I have bought food through the drive through dozens of times without incident. Today 9/6/2023, the staff at this location and the manager "John Hernandez" refused to serve me, refused to take my order, at the drive through window demanding I come inside. That is discrimination against the handicapped. The manager claimied that was "corporate policy" for safey reasons. There is no safety issue with me on a handicap tricycle placing order at drive through window. This policy violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). First, I am very aware of the problems with finding people to work these days. I am from Upper Michigan and take several visits downstate to see family. It takes us 10 hours to get there. Wendy's is our favorite stop, halfway in Gaylord. On July 7, 2022 we were on our way downstate with our grandchildren and, as always, decided to get something to eat at Wendy's in Gaylord, Michigan. Love those Frosty's! As we pulled up we noticed that indoor dining was not available because of lack of staff. Totally understood, we are used to eating in the car. As we pulled up a very hurried voice said the appropriate greeting. Got it, their short staffed. Then she announced they have no french fries for 15 minutes and if that's what we want we'll have to wait. My husband proceed to give the order. Two Dave's Single, she again said nasty we have no fries, (what the heck we didn't ask for fries), a happy meal with nuggets (husband doesn't know, I thought it was funny), the clerk interrupted him and said we don't have happy meals, Macdonalds is down the street. My husband was getting all shook up but ended up ordering with a plain hamburger and our favorite 4 Frosties. She said rudely we don't have plain hamburgers. I had to intervene. I said that's enough, I realize you are short staff but how about some customer service. She replied that she didn't have time to argue with me and that we would have to pull aside until we make up our mind what we wanted. I said No, No, No, we've had enough please fill our order. I wanted to ask for a manager but my husband said I bet the manager isn't even there. We were in a hurry to reach our destination. We got our food and sat in the parking lot to eat our lunch. The hamburgers tasted nothing lilke your delicious Dave's singles. We all thought the burgers tasted like a plant based burger. The chicken nuggets were cold. Well, that's it. My grandkids asked what was wrong with that lady. Sad! I told them she is having a bad day. Thank you so much for your attention to this! By the way, the people behind us didn't fair so well either. They were still waiting for their order when we drove off. P.S. The frosty's were wonderful as usual.

Store #[protected], Cedar City Utah 84720. First, it is sad that you cannot have your lobby open on the weekends as I was told you will not hire enough staff to do so when all the other restaurants are open lobby. It takes too long to get through the drive through.
Now, I keep going there because you are my favorite restaurant but every time I go here now the fries are stale and old even though you advertise some kind of freshness gaurantee. Just like today 9/2/2022 at 4:05pm. I got a dave's double combo and a small frosty and 2 patties for my dogs. My frosty was mostly melted because I had to wait for my burger with the manager having to ask if my order was being made. In this time they could have made me fresh fries as well.
You say not to include my personal information but you will know who I am from this description and the time and date you ask for. And how can I get comepensated for this without my information? And every time I go through the drive through I have to keep asking for a receipt when it should be given to me when I pay.

Apple pecan salad
I went threw drive thur to get my salad. I got home went to eat the salad. Only to find I have no fork or blue cheese bites. Also the lettuce is all nasty wilted with slimmy piece threw out the salad. I called the Kirksville Missouri store to talk to the manager she listened to me and said ok thanks for letting me know. I was taken back she never offered to make me new one or to take my name and I give me another one next time I come in. I said so your not going to do anything to make it right. She said most people refuse the coupons anyway. I work hard for my money and don't eat out often so I expect my food to be in edible quality. This lettuce was not.
