Driving on non commercial trucking roads dangerously
Dangerous driver going too fast on a corner in Northborough MA on 2.16.24. Almost hit my mom. This is a road that has multuple no commercial vehicles over 2.5 tons signs on either end and connecting road. Almost hit my mom while speeding on a corner taking up both lanes. Called the hotline and they didn't even take information down. Pictures provided are license and truck number and the face of the offender and screenshot is the end of road with the sign he ignored.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate an apology and for the driver to be reprimanded for poor driving, lack of awareness, being rude and breaking the law.

On today November 22, Travel on Interstate 20 going to Augusta, we were in the left lane and this driver proceeded over like we weren’t there. He ran us off the road while ignoring our horn letting him know we were there. Being an off duty officer I see this could have been fatal accident and he was not operating safely on the road. If you need to contact me please call me at [protected].
Sincerely
Lt Pringle
Truck driver
I'm an Uber driver with over 7 years of experience (I've been driving cars for over 50 years). I was driving today to NY city with a passenger in my back seat around 10:30 - 11:00 am (it was late morning) on I95 when a truck driver started to follow me extremly close (a foot or 2 from my rear bumper - definitely an unsafe distance). The guy was flashing his high beams rapidly - I had nowhere to go. I was surrounded by cars and trucks - I was driving 60 mph in the center lane. The guy gave me the finger as he passed me on the right lane - where did he expect me to go (fly over the truck in front of me?) - my passenger couldn't believe it. We both oberved his driving as he went by and I wrote down the number that was on the back of his truck - F33380 - it was a Western Express truck and imho this guy should not be driving a vehicle that big and heavy. I would say it's doubtful if he had a license (he sure drove like someone who never was trained) and as we both continued to watch his (he was now in front of us) - he was passing on the left, passing on the right, swerving over the lane markers, speeding etc. I would say that this driver was impaired - almost definitely on something. He was reckless, careless and endangering everyone in his vinvinity. Too bad there's never a cop around when you need one. I just wanted to alert your company who hired this driver that he is an accident waiting to happen? Do you drug test your drivers? This guy is going to hurt someone real bad driving like that. Looking at your resolved cases that were reported - and reading the other comments from other people who have commented negatively about the truck drivers you employ - I'm sure that nothing will be done about this reckless individual who definitely needs to learn how to handle a big rig safely. I'm sure that I'll be reading about an incident involving some driver who drives for Western Express in the near future. Hope you guys are well insured!
Desired outcome: Should definitely be drug tested or maybe should cut back on the caffeine. He is a very poor reflection of the type of drivers you employ. I pray nobody gets hurt by this guys reckless driving!

Management
This company has through the use of electronic signature, fraudulently apply contracts over drivers and the actively seeks to slander and libel those who don't wish to work for them anymore. Driver management support is virtually nonexistent ( the dm's are often too busy with vidioe games or online porn to answer call or deal with basic driver needs, po#'s trailer#'s eta...)
They operate illegally in western states by refusing to provide snow chains in mandated seasons, will make you drive for weeks if not months with clear dot violations, and then punish you for pushing the issue to remain safe.
Unprofessional mangers harassment and threats, sexual harassment, several instances of clear racial disrespect., drug use in the work place but drivers and staff.
They will try to tarnish your credit record if they feel they have not gotten they're investment back from you, especially new drivers whom do not understand the law. They specialize in forcing inexperienced drivers to operate illegally, ( 20 year old mangers will attempt to convince ignorant drivers to push on when equipment and circumstances are clearly unsafe.
Desired outcome: we want to see oversight, accountable management, and reimbursed formoneys promised or fraudulent deduction.
Reckless driving
On Monday May 1st 2023, I was getting on the highway to go home in CT. Highway was Interstate 84 West. There was a tractor trailer truck (Western Express) in the right lane and he matched my speed and would not let me on the highway, so I was driving in the right sided breakdown lane. He was swerving towards me, attempting to make me run off the road! I had to slam on my brakes to get him to go so I could go behind him. He slammed on his brakes also. When I was finally able to get away from him, he tried to swerve into the other lane as an attempt to chase me. When I looked at him, he flipped me off. I managed to get his 6 digit number on back of truck. #120236 with TN plates. I literally did nothing to this man. Just needed to merge on to the highway safely was all!
Truck almost caused accident
On Friday January 6 2023, one of your trucks almost (intentionally) ran me off the road. I had my 5 year old son and my 1 month baby in the vehicle. My son was sitting on the side the truck would have hit. Their license plate is (Tennessee) 267928T
The other number on the back is F33128
USDOT number 511412.
His actions could have caused a severe accident, it was negligent and irresponsible.
Desired outcome: I would like to be contacted by someone regarding this matter Debbie.[protected]@gmail.com757-536-5489
Bad driver
Truck #190914. Traveling east bound on i20 toward Atlanta. Just about 12 pm on Jan 5 this driver completely ran me off the side of the interstate, onto the shoulder of the road. Causing my tire to go flat. It's a 100.00 tire brand new. He got off at the 147 exit and pulled into love's truck stop. I tried to follow him into loves but realized my tire was going flat and I drove on to the house. I live one mile from love's truck stop. My husband was livid
Desired outcome: replace my tire and threw hours of missed work 100.09 for tire and i get 20.00 per hour., and 40 for scaring me to death 200.00. he literally scared me to death
Driving
On 11/3 at around 9:50 am Truck number 290016 was recklessly driving 295 south in Jacksonville, Fl. Crossing the Dames Point Bridge and almost ran me off the road while switching lanes. I was trying to get around a UPS truck in the fast lane (left) while the western truck was in the middle. When I was switching lanes to get in the right lane to take my exit. The trucker immediately got in the lane with me and almost hit me running me off the road.
Desired outcome: I feel like the driver needs to be held accountable and have some coaching
Pay
I recently graduated the training process, I was otr for 2 weeks. Recently got my check stub for the final week of my training and I was shorted over 200 dollars on 6 days of work and I drove every day in a truck with two other people and a dog. I barely made any money during the training process as is. 700$ for a month is barely minimum wage and not worth being away from home just to be shorted.came home after I graduated and have had lots of problems arise with getting my own truck and getting any kind of response on when I can actually start working. I am really starting to feel like this company scams new drivers into driving for such little pay and then cutting them loose after they graduate so they won't have to pay them an actual liveable wage.
Desired outcome: I would like the rest of my money
Good luck. It doesn't get any better. Lies lies lies is all you will get
Company sent me to collections
Bus to Richmond VA western express terminal on 12 July stayed in bed bug infested hotel (Days Inn) on milothian turnpike. I went to orientation on July 13, 22 and finished July 14, 22. I was sitted as a LV4 in which I had to do 72 hrs in training. On july 18, 22 I was sitted and the AC broke in truck after coming out of repair for AC by trainer. We drove for July 21, 22 we went to PA terminal to get AC repaired for I told the trainer that it was unsafe for me to drive for I had day time duty and on this week we had a heat wave of 100 degrees. While we was 4at the days inn in PA I experience some sexual hararassment from training trying to get me to stay in his hotel room. I requested a new trainer on July 22, 22. I waited up to July 26, 22 and reqested a bus ticket home because I was suppose to had finish my training by July 25, 22. Before leaving the Richmond terminal I left my resume with Mr. Scott Worley the operations manager for a position in the administrative department. On August 4, 22 Mr. Scott hired me as the orientation safety instructor. On September 4, 22 I resigned due to communication problems with the company. I email Mr. Scott a resignation on Sept 4, 22. On Oct 11, 22 I received phone call from lawyers firm Lockhart, Morris and Montgomery stating Western Express had sold my contract? to a collection agency and that I did not finish my 6 month contract I signed and did not receive a copy. I ask for a copy and the firm stated they needed to ask western express if they could give me one in which it would take 4-5 business days. I only had 45 days from the date of 10/10/22 in which they had receive my file. I owe per the firm $2,500. I ask did the contract was for finishing training? just for drivers? for I was hired into administration so my contract should have been voided. I reached out to western express and will be contacted Ms. Olivia Smith with whole lot of questions her number is [protected] hrs of operations 730a - 430p on 10/12/22, I am 55 years young a female who have taken a life time to improve my credit score and pay my bills on time. I did not complete the training due to mechanical reasons, sexual harassment, and being hired into the administration department. No one in this company explained to me about not 6 month contract. if so they shouldn't have hired me as a orientation safety instructor.
I need someone to look into this complaint for I believe that western express is trying to recoup money that I do not owe do to the circumstances at hand.
I would like western express to go back to Lockhart, Morris, and Montgomery Law Firm @ [protected] for I only have 44 days left before they send me to the credit bureau.
I pray that someone can rectify this and see me in the right. Not a good company to work for they have a lot of hidden secrets that is not revealed to the truck drivers. Mr Scott Worley email is [protected]@westernexp.com and phone number to personal cell [protected]. I have a copy of my resignation letter and text messages, and no mention of me owning anyone 6 months.
Desired outcome: that I am not found to owe any monies to western express. That the contract that I signed was breached with the sexual harassment complaint, mechanical safety issues, and being hired outside of driving the truck.
They have that contract hidden in forms you sign. No one tells you about it, and they make everyone do training so that they can make you do that 6 months. It's nothing more than a trap! Doesn't matter how many years of driving experience, you are still made do training. That's entrapment! Not to mention all the unpaid days of waiting for a trainer. No pay for orientation, and food that a dog wouldn't want. And the worst hotel while being made to wait. Most wait 2 weeks!
We need to ban together and file a class action suit. They are destroying peoples credit and abusing their authority over students who enter this program.
I am filing a suit with Western Express for sexual harassment and would like to know how this went for you. Could you give us an update?
Dispatch and team lead
9/29/2022 I was made to sit outside of a hotel for over 5hrs in the cold (Youngstown Ohio). Only to be told by the team lead that I could find my own way home from there. When attempting to reach the chain of command I was routed back to the same person that made me sit outside. I have all of my belongings in the middle of nowhere and have been sent to voice-mail ever since being hung up on .
This is in retaliation to me putting in my 2wks notice. I am stranded and the Western Express company refuses to send me home or let me talk to anyone other than the team lead.
Desired outcome: Lawsuit
This very true for when i requested a new trainer in PA they made me wait and wait and wait and tried to make me pay for my hotel when I was their due to mechanical work on truck and sexual harrassment from my trainer. I could not get in touch with anyone and trainer DM was off on a busy day like Friday so I was unable to speak to anyone but a recording or push me to numbers that did not work and just automatically hang up, or someone who would get the operations manager to call me back. The only way I got to stay on western express dime was the hotel clerk that check me in the night prior remembered me and knew the reason I was their. That's why they are trying to recoup $2, 500 from me for the hotel bill and the subway cards! Right on point check with information
Trucker
Truck # F33414
License plate 281580T Tennessee
First off I’m in the slow lane doing 65mph, been on this route from Nashville for a minute cruising. Anyway this [censored] of a trucker decides to speed up behind me, which I continue to drive my normal pace because HELLO, it’s the slow lane. Apparently this motherfucker must have thought I was obligated to speed up for them and flashes their headlights at me. Now I thought maybe he was signaling to someone else behind me or in the fast lane, he wasn’t. Again , he flashed his lights at me. FOR [censored]ING WHAT?! I stay in my slow [censored] lane I’ve BEEN in and he proceeds to finally pass me and leans down on his horn passing me. Like I’m confused, am I supposed to move out the SLOW LANE because their [censored][censored] wanted me to? I get it if we were on a one lane, but we weren’t. Now if I slammed on my brakes while minding my OWN business I’d be wrong right? Oh ok. Stupid [censored].
Desired outcome: Learn the operations of the road and go tf around
Truck driver
Truck driver was switching lanes crazy and driving recklessly. This should be addressed. Truck number 171313 on the back and license plate U809427 In Buffalo, Ny on Sept 24.22 at approximately 3:10PM EST. That is so dangerous. I was driving in the car behind this truck and they turned on their indicator while switching lanes. No checking the blind spots or anything. This is reckless driving. This is a truck, and this website is horrible because they won’t correctly address my complaint unless I give more details. What else is there to tell about the reckless truck driver?! Get it together, and Western Express should retrain their drivers.
Desired outcome: Train truck drivers better or enforce better rules. They can’t drive recklessly like that. They can do more harm and we know this!
Semi-truck reckless driver
Hello, my name is Angela and I am writing to file a complaint against one of your truck drivers. The driver that was driving your semi-truck number 120405 with plate number 212Z59T was driving on 696 South in Mesquite, Texas and heading into Seagoville Texas. I was in the lane to get off onto 1C exit to enter onto I20 toward Seagoville around 10:05AM on 9/22/22 when your driver proceeded to get over into the same lane despite my horn blaring to notify him that I was on the side of him. I had to slam on my breaks and move to the very narrow shoulder or else he would have hit my car and possibly knocked me off the overpath bridge. Once on I20, when I got on the side of him, it appeared that he was looking down near the passenger seat. He was not paying attention visually, nor was he using his ears, otherwise he would have heard my horn or maybe he didn't care. Whatever the case may be, he could have killed me today leaving my 3 kids without their mother and my 2 grandkids without their grandmother. This matter needs to be address immediately before he hurts someone, and I'm sure your company doesn't want to deal with the lawsuit of that disaster.
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response and disciplinary action.
Driver on I5
Your driver almost ran me off the freeway right now. I want to know who and where I go and who exactly I talk to to put in a complaint about this driver. I was driving in the far right lane down I5 south. He switched lanes without paying any attention and if I had not slammed on my brakes he would have taken me completely out. I have pictures of the truck. The cab number was 11179. My information is Jennifer Clagg and I can be reached at [protected]
Desired outcome: I want this driver reprimanded. I want an apology. I have 3 small children that would have been injured or worse killed if I had not been paying complete attention.
Improper driving technique
What’s wrong with this picture? (See pic) You guessed it! That’s a foot hanging out of the driver window! I hope you guys train your drivers better than that. 8/26/22 @ approx 3:30pm in Drums, PA Please disregard my complaint. I’m contacting Western Express directly. Your website is crap and will not accept a picture. Plus your 1 to 62 ratio of fixing complaints makes me think you aren’t effective at what you do. Thanks anyway.
What’s wrong with this picture? That’s a foot hanging out of the driver’s window! I hope you guys train your drivers better than this. 8/26/22 @ approx 3:30pm in Drums, PA
Truck # 20092
The driver of this truck blatantly ignored all sign stating that there are no trucks in the left lane for many miles in the city of Knoxville. The trucker got into the left lane and would not get out of the left lane and so people were passing him on his right side. I know it may be extremely frustrating to the truck drivers at this lane is off-limits but it is a huge help with the flow of traffic and when they do not abide by it it really messes everything up. If they are going to be on the road in trucks with your business name on them, they should probably obey the laws
Loosing income
Good afternoon my name is Mrs Jones I am currently a trucker's wife around the time when my husband was employed with Western Express our truck broke down on the side of the road I remember it was snowing so bad and we pretty much didn't have any other choice but to sit at the time I was a new mom of a 3-month-old and things were pretty rough we ended up leaving Western Express because it seems like they weren't trying to help it's like we had to do everything on our own and I had to watch my husband stress every time we would break down on the side of the road and he had no other choice but to sit no income no anything now that my husband is at a new company called Focus Frieght they pulled reports of his driving record and as they pulled the report of his driving record they pointed out that Western Express reported a "crash in an accident" I'm very upset because at the time I'm a new mom and my husband wouldn't put his family through that and I feel as though I need to get this out because the now company that my husband is with their insurance company is saying either they drop the insurance and find a new insurance company or they let him go so we are in the process of going to a different company which is great but we cannot have these issues and we have been calling Western Express back to back to get answers and he's been transferred for over an hour and I have been recording everything there was a young lady today that got frustrated with him because he mentioned the report and she pretty much hung up in his face now we are looking to take legal action against Western Express we got a paper in the mail to file charges against Western Express but at the time we didn't go through with it because my husband was in the process of going to a new company so at this time Western Express count your blessings because this company can be shut down within a blank of an eye thank God my husband has the faith that he does because this is a setback for a major comeback we appreciate you even though you don't need to be appreciated at this point you don't deserve that so at this time I want to let you all know we thank you and we will be moving forward with legal actions as to suing your company due to loss of income we already don't have a home we let our home go once we got on the road with my husband I felt as though my husband needed that support as well as I did and we are raising our son over the road to each his own thank you so much
Desired outcome: You need to fix this
