Refrigerator: Model #WRF767SDHZ02
Purchased unit Jan 23, 2021 at Lowes. I need to have the french door leveled. The right side door is above and not aligned with the left side door. Instruction manual on page 16 said to remove bottom hinge pin on lower side of right door and then use 1/8 inch hex to adjust. I can remove hinge pin but the alignment screw will not turn and therefore door can't be adjusted. I called Whirlpool to ask for tech support and was told there is no such department. I find this one fact absolutely unbelievable! They said I would have to have a warranty tech come out and it would be an week and a half before he/she would come. I made appointment with guarantee they would call first. We waited all day and then a lady called and said tech would be there in 5 minutes! We were at home so we waited. After 30 minutes went by we called and were put on hold. She came back and said tech had come by at 2:00 and we were not there! Absolutely untrue. We were here! She said he was already on way home and we would have to reschedule. I found out via my own research that in my zip code, 39110, the provider use to be A-1 Appliance in Pearl, MS. Now it is Solar out of New Orleans. So New Orleans covers central Mississippi. That is crazy. All I want is the doors aligned. Isn't there some may to get help with this rather than wait until someone from Louisiana can come by. I do not want any service from Solar. I would be ok if the tech had just said, "It is 2:00 and I am tired an want to head home." I will not accept not being told the truth. Is there not some tech that I could speak with to walk me through this. I am technically inclined and could do this if someone would just guide me. I am very disappointed with purchasing Whirlpool.

Kitchen Aid Dishwasher
We purchased a new kitchen aid dishwasher from Nebraska Furniture Mart. It was installed by one of their contractors. We ran the dishwasher for the first time and the clean cycle would not stop. We can not cancel the cycle and have to leave the door open to keep it from running. We noted 2 days after running the dishwasher that our wood floor was warping and then water started gushing into our finished lower level onto the couch, table, and ruined the ceiling. I contacted Nebraska Furniture Mart and they were very helpful. They sent the installer out to look at the dishwasher and he confirmed that there was a faulty part of some sort. Either a seal or sensor. This is when things got difficult with Whirlpool. I had to fill out a form which seemed simple enough. Then I received an email from a senior claims resolution advisor requesting a laundry list of items be completed before reviewing our claim. The most insane item requested, was the broken part be shipped back to them. I was also told in the email to preserve the manufactured product for inspection. I am not supposed to move the dishwasher. I can not get a new one until Whirlpool accepts our claim. I am supposed to do all the leg work in order to diagnose what the problem is with the dishwasher. Let's be clear...Whirlpool makes the consumer do all the work when one of their products is faulty. This is very poor customer service. I have attempted to call our senior claims resolution advisor twice now and emailed daily for the last 4 days. She will not email me back to answer my questions or return my calls. I am now stuck with this dishwasher that does not work, a ruined wood floor, and a water logged lower level. Our claim number with whirlpool is M-[protected]

I've tried getting a hold of someone to discuss my existing warranty plan. Need service for my Microwave. Tried several times, I was put on hold at least 30- min each call. I have 4-different phone numbers, put on hold no one picks up. I've been a Customer since 2016. I purchased my Appliances from Costco Manteca I'll speak to them about the non service. I'm trying to call for service on our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. This will be the 6th servicing on the icemaker since we bought it two years ago this month in March, 2019. Ridiculous! I was on hold almost two hours last month when I called. So far today, I've been on hold for over 30 minutes.
The Whirlpool rep says the problem is with AIG that carries the extended warranty which I bought...fortunately. Horrible customer service:-(((
Freezer model number wzf34x20dw02
I purchased this whirlpool Freezer from Lowes on 2/16/2021 and picked up on 2/20/2021. It sat in my garage a few days so I could make some space in my garage. After putting product in it I noticed that there was condensation in the top of the freezer and getting on a step stool noticed a 1/4 inch gap on top of the freezer door. Obviously this is a manufacturing defect. I called Whirlpool an a service tech came out and stated that replacing the gasket was not an option and the door would need to be replaced and that this would take 8 weeks. I called and asked for a replacement freezer understanding that I have purchased on 2/16 and picked up on 2/20. Talking to a csr and then to a supervisor offer no assistance when I asked to have this elevated I was told that this was as far as I can take my dissatisfaction of how this situation was handled. The rep suggested I discuss a replacement with Lowed but there was no damage that lowes caused this is a Manufacturing defect. I find it hard to believe the wait time and no suitable solution was offered.
Maytag Washer
Washer delivery 10/15/2020. Delivery service bumped dropped did something to cause scratch to side of washer. I received a gift card of $50 for the inconvenience. Ok then immediately issues arose with bumping loud noises thoughts where it's not level. I called the delivery service and they sent technician. He leveled the machine indicating it was not done when delivered. It was find for 2 small loads. Then the issue came back worse. I was told by your service company that the drum needed to be replaced. Reference service request #[protected]. The issue was directed to the Product Exchange Review Team. NOBODY has contacted me as promised to a date of when part is available or if the machine can be replaced. This is ridiculous I have had to wait this long! Your customer service has no answers and I am being lied to. I'm sick of it! What a disgrace that Maytag would not respond or even has a customer service line that picks up after on hold for over an hour! It's unexceptionable! You can't use Covid as the excuse for no answers! Get it together!

Water heater warranty service
We purchased a Whirlpool water heater from Lowe's on 1/6/2017. It is model ES50R10-55. It has a 10 manufacture warranty. It is leaking and needs to be replaced. I contacted Lowe's and they told me it was Whirlpools responsibility. I tried contacting Whirlpool by phone and by website and can not get any help. We need to get the water heater replaced asap. How do we get warranty assistance?

Electric range
We bought a brand new Whirlpool range at Lowe's, Chandler, AZ, less than a year ago and it went out. The service associate found the wire harness in the back of electric range needs replacement. The service company ( Guinco Appliance Repair) [protected], placed a request for the unservicable part and advised me it was on back order from whirlpool, that was on 2/5/20. It's been more than a month that my family has been without the range. After talking with your service department they said the order will be resubmited and give it 21 days before checking on the part.
Since there is so much difficulty replacing the part, I would like the range to be replaced so we can go back to preparing meals for my family as we were able to do before the breakdown. I would be very grateful for your attention to this problem as soon as possible.

Ice maker
My ice maker since I bought the whirlpool 7 years ago has been repaired 3 times, twice removing the complete ice maker and replacing it at over $500.00 by now. I have in the past bragged how well whirlpool products work, I have talked serveral buyers into getting your products. In the future if I get nothing for my money and get no relief, my opinion will change and many of my friends will hear my opinion. My stove and my ovens are all whirlpool and I have not had a problem with them, not even the refrigerator, except for the defective ice maker, there has to be other buyers with my problem. Washing machine
Washing machine leaked huge amounts of water all over living room and kitchen, down to the next two floors. Apparently this has been a common experience for tenants & now management sent out a notice to tenants warning them about this machine. It'll cost approximately 20-30K to cover all the damage. We have received some feedback from residents after our message regarding washing machines causing leaks. There have been a good half a dozen instances of leaking in the past. It appears that a particular type of machine is prone to leak and it has probably reached its serviceable lifespan.
There have been cases where some have hired an appliance technician to service these type of machines only to have them break less than a year later. Others have opted to replace them with new models.
Below you will see photos showing the model. It is thought that if you own a similar machine you may want to contact Whirlpool and show them the machine model you own (https://www.whirlpool.ca/en_ca/services/contact-us.html) to find out what they would recommend. The more requests they receive from people who own these machines, the more inclined they would be to respond.

Aqua lift feature does not work at all
We bought the whirlpool cook top stove with aqua lift auto cleaning fall 2018 from Lowes in Dubuque, Iowa this cleaning system does not work at all, we have tried to clean it as directed, does not clean anything of inside of oven, we have bought whirlpool products over and over again over 50 years now, I have never seen anything like this before, this is without a doubt the worst problem we have ever seen, and we would expect to have it replaced with a new stove without this feature, I can't believe that they could market this as self cleaning, this feature is very necessary because we can't physically do the cleaning ourselves, which is why we bought self cleaning, this is deliberate False Advertising, Ken & Bev Petty

Customer service / warranty hot water heater
I have a hot water heater that's only 4 years old that's rusted. I have called all numbers I can find and get the same on hold recording. I have sat on hold for hours. Yesterday was 3:12 hours and it routed me to a survey about my experience and then disconnected me. I never spoke to anyone! I need an RA number to get my money back. I spoke to someone at corporate I believe and he said I just have to wait on hold. This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

Replaced a 15 year old sears kenmore with this piece of junk.. Machine is brand new only 7 days old used 6 times!... Now the unit was purchased through the home depot in elmont ny 11003... Whirlpool top loader. We are under the manufacturer's warranty for 1 year... We also purchased the 3 year protection plan for this unit through the home depot! What a piece of crap! Demanding action taken against whirlpool! I am seriously ill as is my 91 year old mom! Do not own a car and have no money to spend on car service to get to a laundromat! Keep calling whirlpool unable to get satisfaction.. Have service call they are supposed to be coming to fix it on february 24th 2021.. Mother has medical issues!.. I bought a refrigerator back in June, 2020 brand new for 1299.00 at our local store. Only 7 months old and today was our fourth call to Whirlpool customer service. We asked the teck each time they came out to the house, why we are getting ice and frost in our bagged meats and food, when the settings are set to nominal and even one less. He said each time its the way the refrigeator is made. That just sounds crazy to me. My wife buys 4 bags fries and 3 french fries each week and every bag when you open it is about 65 percent with ice and frosted inside of the bag before its even opened. four times I call and Whirlpool says that is how it is. Wont give a new one, ive asked. I said maybe ours is a lemon.. I said what about a gift card? They said were on our own. Its under year warrentee and each week we are throwing away between 30 and 45 bucks away in food. Thats a lot of cash each month down the drain. Since we bought the darn unit in June, we must of wasted over a 1000.00 dollars in food because the freezer over freezes the food while in the bag. I asked very nicely today for something, anything for a compensation for our loss, answer was no. I told them I took pictures of the frozen food and receipts. What makes it worse we have my daughter who is medical problems and cant walk and it pricey trying to keep up for her and the extra food we are buying. Just wanted to vent to the management and hope someone sees this and at least tries to reach and help us out thank you.

12/10/2020 - Service- J&H Appliance - Work order id# 106982. Installed Gasket and Drain Tube . Door still hard to open even after 2 weeks.
1/11/21-Service - J&H Appliance - work order ID # 110405. File # [protected]. Service man called the Techline and advised us to call customer service.
1/23-J&H cancelled service (said could not come on Saturday)
1/28-J &H sent an email regarding file [protected] and cancelled the service
1/28-We spoke with a whirlpool supervisor name, Todd, and was told someone from the Consumer Service Escalator Board would give us a call. Have never received a call as of February 8, 2021.

I have had my washer serviced several times since I bought it. I was on the phone for 1 hour & 45 minutes & transferred 5 times & then disconnected. When I called back they had no record of me talking to anyone. They said I would have to talk to Home Depot for a replacement, when Home Depot said I had to go through Whirlpool. I will NEVER purchase anything Whirlpool again. Horrible appliances & Customer Service. I seriously think their Customer Service is a Scam.

I believe my file # is [protected]; purchased first fridge in April 2019, kept having numerous issues; especially with water getting into the left hand side refrigerated drawer ( located underneath ice maker) and short circuiting the adjustable temperature option-which is adjusted by hand depending what is in the drawer I.e. cheese; fridge started to short circuit in February of 2020; Via Appliances said they could no longer fix the fridge- was contacted by Angie in the exchange department and an exchange was done for the same model.
Received 2nd fridge in March 2020 and had the same issue with the drawer being replaced twice; the 3rd time occurred in November 2020. It is now February of 2021 and I have not received the drawer door part. I contacted the service number today ([protected]) and spoke with Amy; she tried to give me information on the drawer door part but was not able to answer me regarding a replacement fridge- transferred me to Valerie and she told me that I was not eligible for a replacement fridge at this time ( which makes no sense), when I inquired further about a replacement- she informed me that the service technician for Via Appliances was telling Whirlpool that the reason that the drawer door was burning out was that I was either letting the water overflow the cup when filling it up with water ( HUH!) or that I was pulling the cup out too quickly when I was done getting water ( which the water should stop flowing when I stop depressing the water tab anyhow). This made no sense to me that, after 2 fridges, I was now the cause of the problem.
I then called Marc Bitzers office and spoke to someone ([protected]) and they then transferred me back to the 800 number. After being on hold for 30 minutes, I spoke with Samuel. They said they would look to expedite the part to me and extended my service warranty by 6 months. He also told me that if this drawer did not work, then I would be able to ask for a replacement fridge. However, I cannot get this in writing from anyone. I do not know who I can believe ( after speaking with 3 people today)and would like to see if I could be contacted by Angie in the exchange department so that I can find out what my options are. I was also told that I can inquire about a replacement fridge if I do not receive parts in a reasonable time. ( part ordered in November 2020 has still not arrived) I paid $3300 for the fridge and the water leak issue will not stop after having 2 of the same model. I fear that I will have to put too much money in the maintenance of the fridge, which I do not expect to reasonably have to do on a $3300 fridge.

Refrigerator stainless steel peeling off
I have a two year old whirlpool refrigerator model wrf535swhzoo serial number k82517477. The finish is stainless steel. Recently, the area on both doors are peeling. This is happening right near the bottom sections of both handles. I have called the help desk for assistance but I was told tso replace both doors. I was also suggested that since i was only 3 miles from the ocean that this may be the cause.
