Customer service
Everytime I have a problem or issue with a wix website as a premium account customer I always get reffered to a so called specialist who isn't working at the time so they need to get back to me and I recieve a ticket number for my issue. And, then time goes by and I don't hear back from them and my problem doesn't get solved so I call again and the process happens all over again. I've wasted hours with the wix representive on the phone and days, weeks go by and nothing. This is a joke. Wix's customer service is non-existent and more so abusive in the way they treat their cumstomers because we get put through this hamster wheel that they call customer service center.
Desired outcome: Better follow up on customer problems and hands on approach to customer service that actualluy takes care of problems in a timely manner.

I could not cancel my premium plan online due to illness and I have tried claiming it. It was renewed automatically last January 22nd and I am trying to get a reimbursement but they keep denying it.
I would like to make a formal complaint to claim the reiumbursement of my plan. I do not wish to pay for it for a whole year when I wont be using it.
It is outrageous that they do not return the fee.

my credit is ruined because I made the unfortunate decision to use wix for my business web presence. Now that I have made a sale, they need to figure out if I can have my money. They take their sweet time in doing this all while making you jump through hoops to prove you are owed the money that they now have of yours. They it can take up to two days but it's been more than a week. At this point, I've blown past all the late payment arrangements Iv made for car, house taxes, electricity, credit cards and missed serval financial opportunities. I'm glad I didn't setup an automatic renewal. They have done permeant damage to my business.

I recently got locked out of my account. Not if my own error. I never setup two step verification and bam somehow it's setup. I have been trying to get into my account for three weeks and can't even after proving I'm the owner of the account. I keep telling them my number has been changed almost a year they insist on me using it. Very dissatisfied
Desired outcome: To get into my account so I can cancel and go with another company because this is ridiculous.

WIX is a predatory company - once they have your credit card, they will add charges without your permission or knowledge. If you do not notice for more than 90 days, it will be too late to file a dispute. They seem aware of this and take advantage by putting recurrent charges on your bill - the asked, they blame the client for not noticing. They are CROOKS. They have hundreds of BBB complaints. They basically take your credit card and intentionally make illegal charges - just like they have taken your card from your wallet, made purchases and slipped it back into your wallet. They pretty much acknowledge the fraudulent and predatory practices and laugh smugly when you ask for reimbursement - it is totally criminal! I purchased a plan that stye said was not good enough - upgraded me and reimbursed me for the first plan, only to recharge me (without my knowledge) 4 days later with a recurrent charge. I did not notice until this year when the charge recurred. They laughed at me & hung up on me. I want reimbursement for the money ($260) they stole from my account.

The website I pay Wix for, they won't pay me my money.
For 8 years I have used Wix, at times they have held my money from a sale and now they are doing it again. They say they need information from me, after 8 years? They paid me for a sale and then the next sale a few days later has been on hold, at this time I can't even get a call back or an email from them explaining what is needed.
It's my website and people who purchase are paying for my product, it's my money, not Wix's money. IF they had a problem with me, they should have notified me PRIOR to accepting money on my behalf.
I have a lifelong clean record in every way, personal and business wise, they have now treated me like I am a criminal.
I have never complained online, this is the first time for me, I hope no one ever has to deal with people like this, hope this helps.

Fraudulent withdrawal of subscription
I set up a website using the Wix site in November 2020 and paid a subscription for 2 years. I was pleased with the outcome but then In September 2021 I had an email from Wix saying my subscription would soon fall due to which I replied immediately pointing out that if they checked they would see the subscription would not become due until much later. I heard no more on the matter and assumed that was the end of the matter until realising today that a subscription for £136.80 had been withdrawn from my bank account by Wix on November 18th 2021.

now i did a breakdown of just for a year of each one and i dont have [though i didn't add the extra fees in it like maintenance, ad, domain, no wixad, Visitor Analytics, ect] cobo plan per year is close to what you said at £125.95 per year. on the site it mentions 1 year free. so your subscription would end on November 2023. on their site it mentions they bill per month or year depending on what you chose at purchasing. they are billing you for the service after the free year was up. though i could be wrong with the data i found with a quick search.
Cancellation of premium service but denied by wix
Dear Complaints Board,
I would like to file a complaint regarding the Wix Premium Plan. I just paid the Premium Plan today, 2-Nov-2021. But had changed my mind because there's another webhosting I am using now, which is cheaper than Wix platform.
I had send them a request for the refund but was immediately denied. It's not past yet the 24-hour period since I paid.

Please help as I believe I have rights to cancel my plan but Wix is holding my payment and won't refund.

you dont mention when you first started using their platform. was it the first time using it when you bought premium on 11/2/21? if it was started earlier then they cant refund you since that 14 day window is gone.
also complaints board is more like a note board. they cant really do more then educate others on companies wrong doings.

One of your "Hire An Expert" contacts is a fraud
I contracted with a recommended Wix "Hire an Expert" developer in December 2020, and paid for a full year Wix business plan as well as her services amounting to just over $800. In the contract, it stated a website would be up and functional within 2 weeks. I gave this person 2 months. After repeated alleged Google walkthroughs which were all cancelled by her, and repeated requests for updates, I received no answer. I requested a refund 2 weeks ago and received no answer. This week, I filed a small claims lawsuit against her. To date, there has been no further communication. I paid for a Wix Business Plan, a domain and a professional help but have nothing. The person is Dawn Gutman Sanchez of Social-Simplified.com and KAI Digital Marketing.com. My domain through her is brcradio.com. I used set up a website using the wix platform, I offer cosmetic and beauty treatments, however they have said that this fall under medical equipment is not allowed and have so far withheld my payments. I have done everything they have asked me to do, such as arrange an alternative payment method, i.e. paypal, which I've done. They asked me to remove my services, which I've done - bearing in mind it took a lot of work to get the site up and running, they have now said that Wix payment and the wix site are totally different and that I can use the site but not wix payments. They have not given me any indication as to when I will receive my payments. They information coming through has been in drips and drabs, never by the same person on single point of contact. They won't give me a call back so I can discuss the issues or ask any questions which would help enormously. They just seem to be stringing me along.

The account is using my body picture from InstaGram and my name with an explicit video in the profile that is NOT me. I have not authorized anyone to use my picture or name and I have never heard of the website till today. The profile is attached in this email, and it needs to be removed immediately before legal actions are taken against your company for defamation of character. Please respond to me as soon as possible. This needs to be taken down immediately.

If zero stars was an option that would have been my choice. They took away our payments! How am I to have a website that I cannot accept payment on?
So Wix once again has decided to make it even more difficult for store owners to manage and update our websites. They've also completely taken away payment methods for free account holders, preventing us from making any sales through our websites, unless we upgrade to a premium account. So over the corporate greed. Trying to provide for my family has become impossible with the wix platform. They won't even allow us to use PayPal!
Their prices are so outrageous I can't afford to upgrade. But preventing shop owners from taking payments? That's just wronG

1,439 dollars stolen by wix
This company charged me 1, 439 dollars from my card. They hacked my account, because I've never used
This company before. I called the customer support they only refunded a portion of the amount that was stolen. They still owe me $869 dollars. I've called several times. They won't refund my money. I filed IC3 and reported them to BBB. I want everyone at this company arrested. They are all criminals and scammers.

What a horrible experience with this company.. We were attempting to launch a couple ecommerce sites, but things kept interfering with that initiative. We contacted Wix and told them we no longer needed their services, they kept referring us to a billing page and kept withdrawing monthly fees, in spite of our best efforts to terminate the services and accounts, they've take over $200 from us.. A couple weeks ago, we went in and deleted whatever was there, according to their statements this is how you terminate services with WiX. We tried to delete the premium account with no success and here's why:

Wix just took another (stole) another $10 from us.. If they are doing this alot of people, imagine how much money this company is essentially stealing from FORMER customers, it's criminal to say the least...
Website Fraud; power in numbers

Wix.com commits fraud on a daily basis. Check out the BBB site or any customer review site and read the horror stories. They parse your financial information and will charge you for services you do not want. They will refuse to refund you. Then, when you dispute the charge with your bank, Wix.com deletes your account and somehow wins the dispute by stating false policies. Their practices are against CA law. Not only are you charged for something you didn't want, they delete your account so they never even have to provide a service.
I recommend anyone who has been a victim of fraud by this company to reach out to any and all of California's consumer protection agencies. I will be pursing this on behalf of all of us. They need to be stopped.

Is 2021 and this company still scamming. Why are the banks not doing anything? Why my bank is still allowing them to get the money out of my account when i am telling them, that I did not subscribe this company's premium service and they are charging me unlawfully. This happened to me. For the first time ever USAA sided with Wix.com even when I provided evidence supporting my dispute. Wix.com must have some legal jargon they are sending to these banks that cause them to back down. However, they are breaking California law pertaining to reoccurring payments. California has consumer protection agencies you can make complaints to.
With all of the victims of fraud, in my opinion, it’s enough for a class action. I’m working on that now.

I've been trying to resolve this issue for months now.
There is no way to contact anyone from WIX. They pretend that they have 24/7 customer support but the contact page never loads. No call back request page loads. No support forum request loads. The questions and answers in the support forum don't pertain to my specific case.
With the help from people from Domain and from Protonmail I got further in resolving the problem, but they both keep on saying I need to talk to someone from WIX but for some reason a person cannot talk to them.
I wrote WIX even on facebook. They wrote me one message back with a half hearted answer that didn't address the problem I had and then they simple blocked me from writing back (see screenshot). It's just a farce. Why not just say then that they don't answer any questions and you're basically on your own when there is a problem.
By the way, it even says that there is a technical issue on WIX's end (see screenshot), still they don't have the decency to help with that.
All I want to do is change my email name from one email provider to another. I want to keep the name of my email that I use for my business but I want to switch email providers. This shouldn't take months to resolve.
