After originally finding wix about five years ago, I began using the site to build brands an companies for my clients, using wix as the platform an subsequent host however after I got a complaint from a client that his entire site was a templet I began to investigate... I began with a review of wix toc, not noticing prior (understandably they change) but there were several clauses strategically drafted within the toc which essentially explained wix owns everything including the right to "use" your platform or for those not familiar in other words... Wix is saying if you build it and we like it we can and will and do take it (steal) your platform, wix vontrols your business and also steals sites, the look, the feel and most noticeably the content. I embarked on a mission which took place over a year... My boyfriend an I created a massive number of start-ups, all unique as its our business. We backed each business up and copied the contents which we deemed proprietary by means of another source and used as content on the wix sites, low and behold as we watched we began noticing that every good idea was popping up online, now this is even after domain name searches that took us in some cases days to generate. Totally unoque but only used in creating wix sites for example our endeavor jewelmi... A local jewel3 business commissioned us to build a site that delivered jewelry to customer blah blah... We searched an searched and no jewelmi.com. So we held ot on godaddy went to wix executed a marvelous site no bs after building it and not publishing we let it sit for (1) day.. We then did a search and sure enough jewelmi.com popped up.. Did it look exactly like our site? Yup. Did it offer same services? Yup. Was it a wix site? Of course... We were so devastated wix was just another fraud. We contacted the address lol it was in the virgin islands how convenient. So it triggered us to investigate further... We found five sites completely ripped off down to the wording of our content refurbished with a twist an offered as a base templet online. They literally sit an watch for ideas re recreate and pull the rug from under you. Here is another thing... The contradictions, spelling errors and inconsistencies in their policies are almost laughable. Privacy, copyright infringement and theft period. How the hell can you just claim you own someones hard word simply because you have access based on trust... Guess we can ask bernie madoff, allen stanford an every other munipulative souless individual. Keep hard copies with dates of your work, they claim ohh well we will say this and whats not enforceable doesnt apply but the rest does... No its [censor] theft!

Im having a lot of issues with Wix. I created a website and bought a premium plan last year for my business. I cancelled my website premium plan this year but they have still taken a payment out of my account for a renewal for £179. I have emailed them and tried to contact them internationally but they are continuously engaged. I am trying to resolve it but they are not being very helpful.

Horrible. Slow, inability to make simplistic changes to website, tons of upcharging to do anything of use. Basically, garbage company; garbage product. This is a pathetic company worthy of being shut down for its terrible service - of course there is no 'customer service' contact of any kind available either. Just like other dirtbag companies (AT&T, Comcast, Verizon, and so forth) this dirtbag company does not provide any 'real' support contact information whatsoever. WIX is a good example of the worst kind of business practice.

Wix.com have no idea how to communicate with the public or with their paying clients with websites.
Everytime I try to contact customer services or tech support they keep coming back to me with unhelpful replies and my problem is never resolved, rather they keep sending me emails to troubleshoot which doesn't work, when the problem is technical issues on their end and NOT on my end. This has happened before, I was put through an hour remote assist troubleshooting only to be told after an hour that the actual technical problem was with Wixcom and the troubleshooting wix.com did for an hour on my machine was a complete waste of my time.
Wix.com you really need to sort this out!

I've been a Wix Customer for over 3 years. At first they provided OK customer service by answering their telephones. Now they don't. I have two websites with them they our company uses on a regular basis for inputting client records, forms and more. We are a Lead Generation business with several clients.
The websites are paid in full for the whole year. A day ago, I tried to log into the account and G-Suite emails and could not. Only to learn after several emails that I was purposely locked out of the account by a Wix Administrator. They told me I owed them $325.00 for late fees.
LATE FEES? Whose ever heard of that for a prepaid account that they've been paid in full for. I asked for an explanation and they won't email me or call me after several attempts. I don't know what is going on with that company but it's pretty fowl.
Our livelihoods count on our websites. I think they are trying to sabotage and discriminate against us. Why would they lock us out of our account and not notify us.
It's illegal and were suing them for everyday we loose work!
DON'T USE WIX. THERE ARE BETTER COMPANIES WITH BETTER SERVICE! COMPANIES LIKE THIS WILL ULTIMATELY FALL!
unauthorized auto-payment
Wix made an unauthorized payment from my debit card. I am shocked at this. I did not have my Wix plan on auto-renew, but the company renewed regardless. The company also gave me NO notification of any kind of the unauthorized payment. I am trying to get a refund, but we will see!
I tried to contact Wix by phone; their 415 area code phone number (San Francisco) is disconnected! I am still trying to get through on their 800 number. I write their support department, but have yet to receive the customer service support I deserve in getting this resolved, and refunding my money.
Beware of using Wix. There are now many, many complaints about Wix taking money from customers without their consent. It would appear Wix is failing as a company, and getting desperate to stay afloat by cheating their customers.

I have purchased my website from you as well as two email address, and I am being charged for them, however, when I send, or someone else sends an email to me at the .com email addresses I have PAID for, it returns saying " email address does not exist." What is UP?

This company set us up a website through Go Daddy, they had us up for a year, and when it came time for year-end payment they took the money out of my account, yet my website was shut down. This caused me many problems. I tried to contact them person to person, that is impossible with them. They run you around, and send you through a maze of deception. No one will talk with you. I wrote them on FB and it was the same thing. They stole my money with no regards or concern at all. They truly care less. There is no place for a business like this, stealing is truly what the do. If you are looking to WIX to help you with a website you better stop know and save yourself the trouble of being ripped off from a terrible business.
Alaskan malamute breeder vicky deming has unethical behavior and does not care about her puppies!
Balto aka "Amouk", passed away August 18, 2016 from cervical stenosis and complications...I hope no one else's dog goes through what my poor dog went through. Shame on this Backyard, Nasty Malamute Breeder. The day I picked up Balto he had fleas and mites.
Now Balto just turned 3 years old and his doctor had full x rays and MRI done and he was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and his neck was severe. So severe that he dis not qualify for surgery. He also had bad hips, front shoulders and a bad left leg. My dog was in pain and Vicky Deming had blocked me from all social media when I told her Balto was in pain and not well so potential puppy owners and owners who have her malamutes on her discussion pages will not hear about this. When I told friends to get in touch with her so she could stop breeding these dogs she posted an old post that I had sent to her when he was a baby and that he was fine as a baby so I am a lair. ( You cannot tell in most dogs that have this disease until they are usually much older) She knows this. Anyway she got crazy and was telling her Facebook people that I am a pedofile and posted on Balto's therapy dog page were he was with a young boy in a wheelchair. I am a special needs teacher at a Head Start program for many years. She also took my emails and changed them? She now is posting that I abuse dogs and even has a photo of a pit bull with marks on him from a fight and says I did that to this dog?The woman holding this pitbull has a wedding band on and dark crly hair...I have long blonde straight hair and not married and have a Husky, malamute, Chihuahua and another small mix pekengese that I resued. Other Enchanted Dreams Malamute owners got in touch with me to say she did the same to them when their dog was found to have the same problems.
In the past I gave this woman money to feed her puppies and for a horse to adopt because I felt sorry for her. Now I know she is a manipulator and scammed me good and I want to warn others about her. She also used my name on Legends Giant Malamutes to make fake bad reviews because Legends is her competition and has real Giant Mals and healthy ones. My malamute Balto is not a Giant Malamute and is a standard. They should not be more then 100 pounds otherwise they will be too heavy and also they are too tall.
Vicky even had a litter of puppies from a female named Uno who was much too young (about 10 months young) and most of her puppies died and the ones who lived were deformed.
Balto's vet and others feel that Vicky is a backyard breeder and her dogs are inbreed that is why they are being born with these problems. She does not care about her dogs only the money. Her kennels are dirty and her trailer is broken down. She should not be Breeding anything. She is not licensed and I have not seen health records on any of her dogs...If she has them they probably are fakes anyway, that is the way she works. She makes fake emails and even reviews and post fake names and more. She seems to have more time to be on her computer then to take care of her puppies.
My dog Balto was an actor/model and a therapy dog and I had to retire him before his third birthday because of his health. Vicky keeps posting his photo's on her social media pages to say he is an actor/model but not tell anyone of his condition knowing others might have this and she will have to close down. Then she will post that I worked him too hard as an actor model that is why he had spinal stenosis? She doesn't even remember what she posted in the last post..LOL.
Balto did a handful of jobs in his short life that my family, friends and I are very proud of. They were all fun jobs for him and he got to meet so many dog lovers on the sets. He always was treated as a dog and all his jobs came easy because all he had to do was be a dog, do basic commands, run across a field or play. Balto enjoyed hiking, swimming, and playing with his pack in the park every morning and night. When he started to feel pain his activities did decrease and it was painful to see him wanting to have fun but just couldn't anymore.
I am involved in a law suit against this woman because of slander, defamation, using my name which makes it a civil suit now and also I can sue because she is not honest about her dogs. Balto also has behavior issues because he has been in pain. Ir cost thousands of dollars for medical bills...
Please check out other breeders to see which dogs are healthier...don't get scammed like me. Don't buy puppies from back yard breeders, puppy mills or stores. Either adopt or get a healthy dog that is from an excellent line.
I am not a breeder but when Vicky Deming put up bad reviews about Legends Alaskan Malamutes with my name on it Legends and I got in touch with one another to solve these fake reviews from Vicky. When I saw Legends website I saw the most healthy, beautiful true giant Malamutes that i ever seen. Legends has malamutes in every color...White, Reds, Black & whites, grey wolf markings and just adorable faces.
I am not a co-owner of Legends (Like Vicky posted) I live in a small house on Long Island, NY. I just did my research and know better now.
I am missing my best friend Balto "Amoux" as we were together 24/7 and he helped me in the beginning and at the end I held him in my arms. He will always be in my heart!
One of the personas she uses to play her twisted games is "Minnie Pearl" on Facebook. I "bought" my Malamute from Vicky at 6 months old for $200. She was going to have him put down because his testes did not descend and she said she could not afford the surgery. I took him to the Vet and had a bilateral crypt done two days later. My boy lasted almost 9 years. He tore his ACL jumping up on my bed and had surgery to repair it, (to the tune of $2, 000), but he never really recovered. I had a Vet make home visits to check on him every two weeks for 6 months. I would have paid any amount of money to make him feel better. Vicky claimed I did not take care of him and that I didn't want to spend money on him and that I would leave him in pain on every Malamute site I was on. Some sites unfriended me because of her. She didn't know what was going on, I live on Long Island 6 hour away from her. Folks I am a Nurse, it's my job to "take care of" and my baby boy was no exception. But when his hips went out I knew it was over for him. He was in so much pain and it was so bad that he couldn't walk anymore. No amount of medication was going to fix this. The Vet and I made the hardest decision of my life, I had to have my baby put to sleep. It been 5 years today and I sit here and cry as I think of him. I miss my boy so much, he was my world. Vicky is not a good person...she's not a nice person...she is a very sick person. And when she is manic she is really, really nasty. You have been warned.

Vicky I lost my Peterbilt, he put up one hell of a fight and then one day he just wouldn't get up . He couldn't anymore, his hind legs gave out. I had him put to sleep right here in my home, he went peacefully with me and the girls holding him. I lost my best friend, life will never be the same with out my Petey. I've made a website here and one day it just crashed! Contacted customer service and they said that I need to upgrade it to make it work. And guess what? They said that I have to pay for it! All the upgrades are not free and you'll need to pay for everything to keep your site alive.

I made a webpage via Wix and everything was working fine. But one day when I wanted to enter my webpage there was no access! Would like to mention that this page was a part of my business so it was very important to me.
I immediately contacted Wix customer service and explained that I was not able to enter my website and asked them to check what was going on. They did nothing and said that my email was invalid!
I used this service for two years and there never was a problem with my email! I told them how important that page was and they just did not care and said "Email is invalid"! These people are terrible, there is zero customer support and I'm so disgusted with Wix!

I had called this lady named Kristen Leigh also known as Kristen Leigh Allain from KLA Business Development by looking at her exceptional prices on Kijiji.ca for printing and design. She is a Lakeshore/Mississauga based person and what I found out later is that she does petty frauds with small level client.
I was a small level client who wanted to order some T-shirts. She told me that she will order the T-shirts for $4.00 per T-shirt. I was very happy that my small business would get a big break from the $7.50 I usually pay at a local store.
I asked her as to what deposit she wanted and she asked for $50. keeping in mind that I was ordering 40 T-shirts from her. She kept on raving about how she has these amazing contacts and they are wholesellers and hence I can get the best price gauranteed.
After that, I called her 5000 times, got delayed on my shipment, and all I got from her was a text and she said, "B you stupid."
Never heard back from her. And my loss was greater. I had to pay the full price for the T-shirts and lost the $50 on top of it.
I can keep quiet about this, but she must be scamming other people of small little amounts, and it may not seem a lot for many, but for small businesses it hurts a lot.
If she did that with 10 people, thats a good $500 she is making by doing nothing.

Having recently bought a plan from wix, which included a free domain name, they automatically sent me an email inviting me to buy one - instead of telling me that i could have had a free one instead.
I bought the name thinking that is what I should do, only to find that I could have had it for free as part of their package - now they will not refund me - saying i bought it prior to their package - however, I did not and I believe this is a marketing play to get more money out of people.
If this is not rectified, I would like to know how you cancel your package etc with them - are their terms and conditions under internet buying?

Where do I being? Let's see I signed up with WIX.com back in 2011, because I was looking for a new web hosting company. They were referred to me by a good friend who had used them for her website, so I thought I would take a look at their templates, and other offerings. After an investigative search through their website, I made the decision to use them for my company. From the start I ran into all sorts of technical issues, from sizing the pages, uploading images, adding pages, and other various things. I spoke with numerous people at their technical support center, I was placed on hold, told by the person that was handling my issue that they would need to speak with someone else for help, and after all was said and done they still were no help at all. So, after my own work, by the way I am not a computer person, I figured out how to do the tasks I required help on, because they were absolutely NO HELP at all. With each technical glitch I encountered, I spent a day or two trying to figure out how to fix it without the NO HELP assistance of their technical support. When you use your mouse pointer on a particular area, for example to resize the margins, the sale that you use moves all by itself. So, once you place your pointer over the little, tiny blue dot to move the scale, the scale automatically moves on it's own. It's like watching a arcade pin ball machine ball bounce back and forth all the while I am watching in utter disbelieve and horror at how my products are moving back and forth without any assistance from me. You can't enter a number in the number box next to that scale, so you just have to wait until the scale stops moving in order to try to re-do what their website has done. Then if you decided to change the font on a particular page, just be prepared to have the font changed on all of your pages, even though the box asks if you want this change or every page, or if you want to personalize that particular page/image. So, even if you select the option to personalize just that page/image, or you don't check the box asking if you want the change on all the pages, WIX's computer system will change every single font to whatever font you select on every page for you. Oh, but wait it's gets better, say you are an ecommerce site (like mine), you decide to just work within that page uploading your inventory, then you preview the work you've just done, WIX will adjust images, and by adjust I mean remove the images that you added to the top of the pages, or they will move certain text to another location on each page. So, that means that images that you placed and SAVED will magically disappear, or text will overlap another text and you won't be able to shift the text that's overlapping the text within that page. But wait, there's more, so now you are ready to upload images, the images you are uploading you can't see them as you upload them, so you must close out of it, then select ADD PHOTO, and then the images you couldn't see before MAGICALLY APPEAR. Now, you are ready to start adding to text to your each item box, you must type one letter repeatedly, over, and over again before it will appear in the box. After trying to simply type one word, you exit out of it in frustration, open a blank WORD DOCUMENT, type everything you want to say about your product, and then you must cut/copy and PASTE it in your WIX inventory page. I have had to check my website at least three or four times a day just to make sure my website is the way I created it to be, however I found that recent edits I made were PUBLISHED BY WIX and not be me. I was not done editing my website, so why on Earth would I PUBLISH IT! In closing, please let me say DO NOT USE WIX AT ALL, this web company is the absolute worst. Find another like GoDaddy, or my new favorite Squarespace. I am promptly moving over to that company after I post this COMPLAINT. SO LONG WIX, and good riddance.

I had a crown put on and was told a price (he suggested Gold which is even more expensive and was told it will "last longer" to later find out that is BS. I paid 1/2 up front and the remaining at the end. after 6 months i received another bill for another $947.00 and was told "there was an error" and I needed to pay more. we paid twice what we were quoted. we tried to reselove this but he wouldn't even call us back. He had is assistant call back becasue he is a coward.

actually the good dr. never told us about the "misquote" he just turned it to collections. We didn't find out until 3 years later. we tried to call Steakley and work out a payment plan and he said NO. we ended up paying over $1, 200 for a crown. you might want to mind your own damn business and get the damn facts straight there mr long face.
we pretty much had the same problem but it was only $478. we were told the insurance misquoted. we will never be back. we have heard the same from others.

Rhonda Copelin called us out to work on there Computer system. Normally we collect our fee up front but they seemed like a legitimate company over the phone so we agreed they could pay us the 198 dollars they owed us the following Friday. When the time came we got nothing. Then she daily continued to lie to us about cancelled cards and boyfriend mad because we are calling them too much BECAUSE THEY RIPPED US OFF. Go figure the one ripping people off gets mad. This woman is a compulsive liar and a con artist. Then due to a technical error she said shes not paying the full amount and will send a money order. First, any comapny that can't swing 198 dollars and then lies daily about it...might not be a good business to deal with and then refusing to pay the actual amount they owe. SHAME ON YOU SPIRIT WIND LOGISTICS...RIPPING OFF THE LITTLE GUY. Do not do business with this company they are scammers and will not pay you. Do business with legitamate companies. This lady and her husband have continued to screw people she goes by Ronda copelin Bentley and her husband is Michael Bentley just as bad . They have taken over a bakery in Hendersonville ten called dawsons bakery. The older lady and her husband that built that business have been Thursday hell with her. And she has just about cost them everything they have built up. They purchased tons of equipment for me after I was told I had cancer and would have to retire. Left us with bounced checks and checks on closed accounts then filled bankruptcy knowing they could pay penny's on the dollar. And we are not the only ones. You think she's so nice, smooth, they are crooks I hope they rot in hell and they get exposed!

I was also mislead. I was part owner in Spirit Wind Logistics, but have now dissolved the company.
I apologize that you were taken advantage of, and I am very sorry that a company that I was building (with the hope of trust and integrity) took advantage of your services...my former partner has done many misleading things to not only me...her former business partner, but many others involved with our former company. I hope in the future she pays this and all her bills...
You lost money, but I lost a lot more. But I will rebuild my reputation and count this as a very expensive lesson in my life, but one I will count as very valuable.
UPDATE. No money order no check no credit card. Just more lies . Do not deal with this company. No money order received. Just more imaginary excuses and fake promises. We were given an invalid no money on visa broke ### card from the beginning so their intention was soley to rip us off. By the way there was no 6 month pay plan for 198 dollars that was owed. We were nice enough to let them slide for a week which now has turned into months. Thats ok though because next time they try to buy a piece of bubble gum and get denied they will remember us. I am sure they are using the computer we fixed to write these false comments about us. Fact is work was done and you commited theft of services. Not once did anyone complain about service but they did complain that we bug them too much for the money they owe. Welcome to the real world. If you deal with this company rip them off, cause they sure would do it to you!
Sounds like if Geeks home and amp office occasionally falls victim to unscrupulous business, it could be to their not following through on the agrrement that was originally agreed to, and as far as This particular computer is was and is solely the proprty of my business partner's personal computer. Geeks home and office apparently does not check out the agreements made by it's subsidiaries, The so called little guy had made a false complaint on a legitimate business and needs to take this posting down immidiately. The complaint if any probably should have been made by Ms. Copelin aboout services rendered that were not all that great and changing the terms and price after a so called repair was made!
You need to get your facts straight! I had gotten approval PRIOR to Geeks Home and Office picking up MY computer for repair (NOT Spirit Wind's computer), for a 30 pay or I would have to find someone that could do it, and GEEKS HOME & OFFICE agreed to the 30 pay, which was due on July 4, 2011. I mailed a money or out in the amount of $149.00 on July 2nd to the address GEEKS HOME & OFFICE provided! The bill was for 149.00 NOT 198.00! I would NOT do business with the so called computer "repair" company, GEEKS HOME & OFFICE, because of the harassment and rudeness they have shown! As for the repair...my computer STILL doesn't work...I HIGHLY recommend staying away from GEEKS HOME & OFFICE!

My friend paid her for me, since then she doesn't tell me anything but always asking me to send $600. I ask questions, she doesn't answer, hangs up on me. But she calls daily for the money. What a crook!

Wix is nothing but a scamming website that charge your credit card on a daily basis and bill you so much you couldnt afford to pay them. I purchase the program and they wouldnt even send me my free voucher that they promise right on their site. I try contacting customer service but they wouldnt reply back to any of my email. I decide to cancel and they finally reply saying oh you cancel your account with us so we wont give you the free voucher please reupgrade. I decide to contact my bank and file a charge back against that company and then they finally email me saying it was all a mistake so they decide to give me my free voucher I email them back that I just want a full refund and I do not wish to use their vouchers they sent me.wix deny my request thats how much that company wants your money I am waiting for my bank to reply to me how everything is going to be. Please save yourslef some trouble by staying away from this wix program that brings you nothing but problems and drama!
