Myself and 19 other Employees recently stayed here. I unfortunately got there after hours and called the number I was told to call at the front office for 40 min trying to get someone to come check me in. Remind you I got there at 930P. Finally a man that looked like half lit and smelt like weed shows up and checks me in and was kindly pissed that I showed up to check in after ours like I had control over that.
The rooms are not bad rooms and were decent, my complaint isn't about the rooms its about the staff and guest services.
The day I checked out at 5am there was no one available to give me a receipt. So I left thinking ill just call and get them to email me a invoice over. I called the next day on a weekday so it was within work hours. I called 40 minutes off and on after 9am. before finally reaching a office worker. I gave him my email address and he said he would send it over. A day later I still have not received my invoice for my stay. I called again the next day, this time for appx 30 minutes until I gave up and looked for a number to corporate to file a complaint. I get thru to the agent and explain to him the above and he is persistently being rude and making up excuses as to why they don't answer the phone. it finally got to the point to him making up an excuse the phone lines are down at the midland location...really. I will absolutely not stay in Woodsprings Suites at any locations in the future. if this is the way you handle complaints about your staff, you should be out of business. horrible way to run business.
not receiving the "check in" rates!
There is currently a promotion going on in Indianapolis Indiana due to the races which in turn has had wood Springs dropping their rates from 369 to 269, and unfortunately for the long term residents instead of notifying us of this, they've continued to charge us 369 even though we have to check in weekly because we pay weekly. Over the past 2 weeks we have lost roughly a 120 to $160 because the front desk is not honest with anybody here. Also I would like to make it known that you have to employees that live on property, that smoke pot on property while working, one of whom their husband thinks he run the place even though hes not an employee which causes a whole lotta drama for the residents who are long term, including fighting with other residents! This is UNACCEPTABLE! Not to leave out that the room directly behind the office/laundry room is very well known and on tape delivering meth selling meth using meth, etc.
I am not fine with the inconsistencies, SPECIFICALLY when they want to allow their employees to break all of the rules, but try to hustle as much money as possible from THE GOOD LONG TERM TENANTS they have here. I am also NOT FINE with WoodSpring suites stealing well over a $100 a week from us during race season! I've contacted multiple Woode Springs around the area who have confirmed that yes they should honor the to $269 a week because we have to check in-and-out every single week! Please contact me at your earliest convenience so that we can figure something out. I would take it to the head manager here but he has a horrible habit of throwing people out for no reason at all. I called with a complaint about the Manager, Andrea, at the Woodspring suites in waco, Texas. Here are her texting my fiance inappropriately.These are messages that the front desk manager is messaging at the time my fiance These messages show who it is as she clearly stated who she is. Then each text follows the day and time from THE day before to the next all the way through until the 13th text. She talks about her job, firing someone, Taking mail into his room then goes on to flirt, asked to go out for a beer and clearly discusses her love to smoke weed. I am sure looking at the video footage of those dates would show her going to his room. Unless her a manager gives her access to erase. I expect termination. No one else with all the men there should go through what I went through.

I went to wash my face and thank god I looked into the towel real quick. There was a dead bug in my towel. And I didn't put it there. The staff was also very rude to me. Talked to me like I was a child and like I didn't already pay for 2 nights to stay there.

My fiance and I stay at the woodspringa in Birmingham Bessemer. We had to move out of room 209 due to their tub having a crack and leaking to room 101 I think the manager said. Well now we're in 232 this room smells so bad it burned my eyes. I slept in front of the front door away from the carpet cause laying in the bed under that horrible smelling carpet really made me cringe. The manager came into the room while we weren't here once we complained but just said she is booked until next week. She didn't offer to sweep the kitchen area of dog and cat hair or vacuum and clean the carpet and not half [censored] it. We just felt very disrespected. I bought some things for the carpet cleaned the head bored that was sticky and the side wall with a yellow stain. A could of days ago a couple with a cat and German Shepherd moved to a all wood room and we got stuck in theres. Horrible manager Laura very horrible manager. I stayed at your Tampa (Temple Terrace) hotel on 8/19/18 for only 1 night. This was after being forced to move from the Extended Stay next door due to poor service and a bad toilet issue the day before.
My issue was that as a paying customer, I was told that I would have to pay $30 for a cooking pot to cook eggs for myself and 22-month old daughter. I said that was extremely expensive and ridiculous to charge a paying customer for a set let alone just for 1 thing. The manager (Keeli Lopez or Eleonor De Leon)) would not budge and I was again forced to go out for breakfast! The whole point of staying in a suite with a mini kitchen is to cook, but to pay $30. We are also on special food diet for my family that is best remedied by staying at hotel's w/kitchens.
Also, I am attaching a picture of a large hole in the bathroom door upon entering. This was not due to me but rather a prior customer with possible rage issues. I would of changed rooms but nothing was available and it was on the 4th floor. We didn't want to wait/switch rooms w/limited time and a crying baby.
I would like to have a full refund of my room charges.

woodsprings suites - pooler - management issues
The manager on staff at pooler disrespected me while I was trying to cancel my reservations a month ahead.
I get 2 weeks, I get 1. But a month ahead is plenty of time to cancel and he seemed to not want my business or anything to do with me and it frustrates me that I can't contact corporate to file an actual complaint.
This place deserves better management.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
poor customer service
I was overcharge $1598.99 and the management didn't inform me about the overcharging and never explained how it happened and who did it. Manager is not good with dealing with customer service and not responding to customer questions. Management let's people consume alcohol openly in the hotel parking lot and large groups of people drink alcohol (beer) in privately owned vehicle. Thank you Steve Jefferson.

We checked into the small lobby and was greeted by a man who was brand new It took us 25 minutes to check in. It took some of the time to see if the room was ready. Keep in mind it was after 3:00. Next who ever took the reservation had us listed under the wrong credit card so that took extra time to process. We finally got to the room where an in experienced worker was attempting to make our beds. He told us he just started and was working alone. The beds were barely made. I checked the sheets and there was dirt on them. I had to sweep the floor myself. I am not sure who is really responsible, but I don't know how this place will continue to operate. I have never seen anything like this! I would like a refund.

I asked for a refund because od the people smoking on our floor which made it horrible to breath. The toilet wouldnt flush poop. The noise above us that had the manager going up there at midnight. And a dog barking at 1 am. You said that was not valid reasons...then what the hell is? This was the worst hotel stay. No sleep. Took 2 weeks for Expedia to talk to a manager. I want my money back! canceling reservation without any notice
On May 22 2018 I made a reservation for a four day stay at woodspring suite in Cleveland at the airport. The reservation with conformation number for August 1-5 2018. I arrived at 8:00 pm and was told that hotel has canceled my reservation. I am handicap over 65 years old and had to be treated this way. When did the hotel clerk decide who get a room. In 40 years reserving hotel rooms I never walk into a hotel and not had a room. I would subject better middle mangerment training. I was sick over three days with stress. I will never subject your hotel chain for people to stay at

Ayer formerly room 431. // a threatening knife wielding guest from room 429 filled a false report which ended with our being evicted from room. and a minor female mentally retarded child ( sister to a employee ) arrested for seeking a safe place to avoid conflict. the man from room 429 even brandished his knife to an Springdale officer. an same officer cleared our room of any wrong doing. yet we were removed in the middle of the night. please refund unused balance to me. ph#[protected]-- I did speak with a young polite man named Pedro whom assisted with our leaving this horrid location even as the man from room 429 battered him with foul language. The other staff ( carl ) member was extremely lacking in professionalism failing short of his duties in your profession. going forward I will suggest the rest of my company and employees leave your location due to this disruption. My husband and I stayed at this motel for 2 weeks. The first week my husband was getting bites on his legs and arms. We thought there might be a mosquito in the room or getting bitten by some other bug. Later on in the second week we discovered the room had bed bugs. We only had one day left, so at check out we told the manager Donna about it and asked her to please reimburse us for a week. She accused us of bringing the bugs in. We've never seen bed bugs, hence the reason it took longer for us to realize what my husband was getting eaten from. We did some research online to see what the bugs looked like and also pics of the bites. My husband even showed Donna his arms and legs that were covered with itchy stinging bites. She gave us $80 back and said we are banned from this motel. Since then we have stayed at another motel and no issue with bed bugs! If we brought them into Woodsprings wouldn't my husband have had issues in this recent motel? We definitely did not bring any bed bugs into Woodsprings and resent the fact that management treated us rudely and with disrespect.
We checked with the exterminator EcoLab that treats the motel and they confirmed that Woodsprings has been treated for bed bugs and has a past with a bed bug issue. Please get back to me at email address: [protected]@yahoo.com

My family and I have stayed at you east baton rouge hotel for almost 3 weeks
Every time you walk out of your room there is trash everywhere the elevator is always filthy there are people smoking in the elevators and in the hall ways none of the staff are doing anything about it

my name is Chad Perry i have lived here for 5 months now, every morning i walk my little Beagle dog Sarge and this morning the black man who cutts the grass was driving by while my dog was sniffing the ground and tried to tell me i needed to be more careful were my dog goes to the poddy at because he was the one who cutts the grass! i tried to explain that my dog normally goes in one spot so it wasn't my dog that there was a problem with compared to Every other dog on campus!
The man got out of his truck and yelled at me threatening me etc. so i went inside and spoke to the manager Randy and he was negative as well towards me raising his voice so i had finally had it and told him i would be contacting corporate office to let them know and that is what I'm doing now!

Ever since the manager quit the manager that comes in and works until they find a new manager has been terrible. He has been caught on several times with couple employees coming in and out of his room, the has been pics of mildew and roaches in hotel, dogs can't go outside without either getting fleas and/or ants and refuses to treat the areas, only a few employees do there job great and the others slack off .. This Manager needs to remove ASAP .. He has cause more harm to the company over and over again.
I'm being picked on at work by my boss. she wrote me up on falsely all cause her boss was getting on her about the hours and she choose me to pick on. i feel like i'm being harassed and i need to know how i can get corporate involved cause i will get a lawyer if i have to. i do my job to the best of my ability. i got wrote up for taking to long on cleaning the rooms then said two of my rooms were dirty all this is a lie she is trying to get me fired.i need someone to help me get this to corporate, if i lose my job over this false stuff me and my kids and husband will be homeless i can't believe they are doing this to me. and she never wrote another house keeper up for the same reason and she still doesn't clean like she is supposed to and the maintenance guy drinks on the job and smokes marijuana and no one cares about that. all they do is stick together and treat people like they are nothing. the manager talks about employees and its so wrong some one help me

I stayed at the WoodSpring Suites for approximately 2 months. I noticed after 30 days only part of the sales tax was returned and was adjusted on the 28th day. After complaint I was brushed off after being told "corporate adjust taxes" that being said legally the State taxes should have been included and credited back . 2 different occasions I was told my bill was 200$ more than it was by 1 desk clerk and then after complaining to another it was fixed and the true amount applied. I returned one day to find our room had been partially cleaned belongings thrown in bags. Desk clerk stated " he had been TOLD we moved. Considering we didn't check out and our key still worked that made no sense. I was missing items that were recovered by the desk clerk from another employee named Keke and returned our Room was compensation is. The very next day we entered our room and ALL OF OUR BELONGINGS WERE GONE. The same desk clerk tried to locate our belongings and only found groceries in the employee refrigerator and a few items in the dumpster. Considering the amount of property missing he called the manager who refused to come till the next morning. He told us that it was illegal to remove let alone dispose of anything in our room by the hotel staff. Our key still worked. He gave us a completely different room and promise to deal with it the next day. After speaking to management and being told he didn't know where our property was I informed him I would like a refund for our entire stay. His employee had stolen our belongings and the next day our room was robbed of everything. A refund and return of our property was what I requested. He agreed that was fair and stated he had to consult with corporate. The next day a corporate representative was flown into town I was told he would speak with me. Not only did the corporate rep Not speak with me, he only consulted with the hotel clerk and manager. The clerk being Keke the one who stole my property and said we moved and also allowed our belongings to be removed by the cleaning staff ( her daughters) and then manipulated the situation to her favor. The desk clerk who assisted me said he wasn't even asked about the situation. The corporate rep informed me that we had checked out 4 days prior and that there was nothing but trash in our room. Then he said we had an outstanding bill . He also said my Polaroid tablet and mini stove were available for pickup and that he could see why they were considered trash. #1 We did NOT check out. #2 The bill was taken care of after my property was recovered from the same employee Keke who is behind all this. #3 we were given a room after the initial theft. #4 My daughter's iPhone 6, brand new shoes and clothes, my wallet, groceries, personal hygiene, cleaning and laundry supplies, crockpot, pans, dishes, toys I can go on...were valuable and not trash. The corporate representative chose to be disrespectful and rude and stated this was no longer their problem. Had he asked I would have informed him that I had itemized bill printouts . One showing that not only did we NOT check out but .. the day of the first theft and bill adjustment by the desk clerk was completely missing on the bill date and all AND that "guest skipped out on bill" (false) had been entered and money adjusted by who? None other than the very same dishonest employee Keke who is the source of this mess and the person the corporate representative spoke with. The manager was ill equipped to handle anything being he was new on the job after 3weeks training. KeKe the employee who is quite adept at manipulating the system to her needs being that she was running the hotel while the manager was being trained is a thief and a lier . But she wasn't fired or reprimanded the cleaning staff who entered our room and stole some of our property and threw some away wasn't fired or reprimanded despite the fact that this whole situation is LEGALLY WRONG. . They didn't call the police they did nothing but lie saying we checked out and our belongings were trash.. Being that we established residence after 30 days the rules changed. Not to mention the security cameras will show proof as well as the room billing statement's that are not the same and the telltale discrepancies dates changed in order to make changes are quite obvious and don't lie. I find it hard to believe that a company would choose to ignore a customer/guest based on the false information provided by the person who orchestrated the situation. Even more I find it irresponsible that the representative of the company didn't take the time to even ask us what happened. In 2 months we spent over 5000.00 and were treated like trash. Because we established residence Colorado tenant rights apply and now what could have been handled with a simple refund and apology will now be taken in another direction. The ACLU, Federal Trade Commission, Colorado Attorney General and Better Business Bureau are always interested in situations such as this and the Colorado Dept of revenue taxation department will be more than happy to assist when being unfairly taxed. The WoodSpring Suites is owned by an LLC with the same name WoodSpring Suites Colo Spring .. but the management company is different but basically the same entity all address the same. Shame on this business for allowing it's employees to steal and lie. Shame on this company for not being customer serviced or even respectful. As a single mother replacing our belongings is going to be hard. And some items are irreplaceable such as my daughter's shirt made for her father's funeral.. The harassment of the women across the hall who helped us during the few days our room and belongings were being stolen is a whole other complaint down to them being harassed about fictitious "room checks" and the police being called on them down to the manager offering them money to find another place to stay. Being that they are lesbian and raising 5 children and African American as am I, that complaint is of a different nature . . Surveillance footage never lies an digital signature can't be manipulated or erased, not even by KeKe.

Yesterday. July 14th 2018 Charlotte Hansen, the acting manager on duty came into the room of a friend i was visiting unexpectedly. When she came in my friend and I were not doing anything but sitting in the couch watching tv. When Charlotte Hansen came in the room she started being disrespectful right off the back. She told my friend and I that we had to vacate the premesis because she smelled a strong scent of marijuana in the room. This is ridiculous because 1.) We had no such thing in the room and 2.) we never smoked anything in the room because we know that it is against the rules of the building. Charlotte Hansen then proceeded to threaten to call the police on us and say, and i quote: "I can call the police if you want to do it the hard way, but i am a white woman and they will believe anything i say before they believe you." I was shocked and appalled and didn't know what to say. She then leaves and tells her that she needs to be off of the premesis or else she will call the police. I recommend doing something about this ASAP because 1.) she was extremely rude and racist 2.) she threatened us as minority people who already have trouble with police brutality and 3.) she has no idea WHO i know and the connections i have. I do plan on taking this case to all news stations in Indiana, talking to the mayor of Lawrence (who i know personally) and Raphael Sanchez who does personal investigations. We didn't fight back and we didn't curse her out or anything. We let her talk and when she left we immediately began doing as she said. There was no type of argument or anything.
