On the 16/01/2018 a driver locontrol of his car and hit mine lawyer dealing with my. Claim said she was happy that the their party had admitted liability at the time although XS Direct sent out an investigator and I gave info about CCTV at the scene this was not followed up although I am currently looking to get this footage so when I take s Direct to court also since then I approached the households where accident happened and found witness who remembers what happened and it's just as I state I will also look to him to be witness in court. I am not going to waste my time here writing as after I read all XS Direct reviews yous will not uphold my complaint I will explain in full to the Ombisman as I believe they are dealing with lot of complaints against XS Direct also can you let me know who the third party insurance company is and are yous partnered with this company. XS Direct have also sent threatening letters and numerous phone calls I suffer from stress and anxiety and they have made my condition worse I have explained this also to my local GP. I cannot believe the bad reviews XS Direct have against them pretty similar to mine. I totally refuse to accept blame and would without hesitation go to courts to prove this XS Direct have treated myself like a criminal and settled on a 50/50 claim without my consent they have not acted with my best interest also XS Direct have renewed my policy without authorisation and put my policy payments up also they are looking to me to pay £269.09 regarding my excess Wich I totally disagree I will look forward to your Quik response so I can move forward in going to the Ombisman with a view of taking XS Direct to court to prove my innocence and will be looking to claim compensation regarding the way I've been dealt with and any loses I have occured I have had to take a lot of time out with my business to deal with this matter I will be looking to recoup any losses regarding this. i have a £3000 excess i was in an incident on the 23/08/2017 i had just passed my test and cleally displayed P plates so people would give me space i was driving up a hill my car was struggling dobi stalled and started to role back a foot i pulled up my had break i didnt hit the car behind me her car was right behind mine are number plates were touching there was no marks or damage to my car or my number plate or hers but she has a dent on the front pasengers side in the corner shown in pictures bellow i sent all the pictures and a written statement to xsdirect who said that i was not libal for anything as it clearly shows the damage was already done before this incident i thought it was over as id had no emails or letters stating otherwise then on the 3rd of August i received a letter asking me to pay £807 within 14 days im so annoyed my car is the grey one

my car insurance has been cancelled and there is no valid reason for this for further imformation please call me on [protected].
This needs to be sorted out a.S.A.P cause i use this car to take a disabled person around in fact the car is registered to the disabled. I have also been advised by the ombudsman on this matter and they told me the time spans and proceeders invold they say they are more than happy to represent me as they cant believe as an insurance company you should of held up your hands and say we made a mistake and move on but all you've done is treated me very badly and cancelled my insurance for no reason.
outcome of miter incident report
S.[protected]@xsdirect.com has advised the outcome of their investigation concerning a car incident in which I Marcia Sinclair of flat6, 77 Marland Way M320NQ was involved 16May 2018 is not able to be passed onto myself and will be only be passed onto both insurance.
This is worrying as s.dunne has advised the outcome holds me at fault whist I'm maintaining it is not. S.dunne advised I should not have been waiting where I was and therefore coming across to me that I therefore deserve to be crashed into.
Due to this I would like to have the opportunity to have the report so I am able to share this with my solicitor and insurance ombudsman if necessary. I am concerned my case will be closed with libility being held against me without me having the report first.
I am incredibly distressed and feel I am being treated unfairly. Please may I have a copy of the report within 48 and not have this case closed with libility ling with me at this stage?

car has been smashed my xs direct policy holder.
Hello I recently became a 3rd party to a car crash where a driver smashed the back of my car.
I got intouch with you (xs direct) and was told to forward all the bills on which totalled around £5000.
After 2 months of investigations I have now been told that the driver lied on his policy and has now had his insurance voided and was told the car was no longer xs directs problem.
I now have a car with £5000 worth damage and xs direct telling me its not there problem.
This is what car insurance is for isn't it?
I would very much appreciate my car fixing.

Since I had an accident on the 8/4/18, I have had all kinds of excuses why my claim has not been processed.
All information has been given as requested.
A full quote of repairing my car have been furnished, including email address, physical address and phone number of the garage.
Up till today I have been told that I am " entitled to make a complaint" . This is not the information I need but a settlement on my car repairs.
I need this today a sit has been dragged out for too long.
I am sure this is not in line with the fair trading standards, .
I submit to you that xs direct has acted in a manner contrary to the standards set out by the office of fair trading, and the against the Financial Conduct Authority.
I will be contacting them as a matter of urgency unless this matter is settled straight away.
I have been caused a lot of avoidable inconvenience and stand to lose earnings as a result of this unfair and unprofessional action and lack of commitment to complete the claim.
Further to this xs direct continue collecting payments from me while using the money to further their business at my expense.
I look forward to an answer today.

Basically I had an accident on december 2017 and we are now at 22 february 2018 and my claim is still not settled. Ridiculous service, I would never reccomend this company to anyone and would never go back and insure with this company. I posted my v5 and keys with registered delivery but after a month it was stated that they did not receive the post and they will not settle my claim before receiving it after contacting the post office and tracking my post it said it was delivered. After getting a delivery record with the signature of the person collecting the post and sending it to the claim handler and after emailing him after a week it was stated the cheques were sent out but still my finance is not settled and I don't even know what is going on. The service is very poor and bad. No updates on what is happening with your claim, no helpful employees, they don't even seem interesting when dealing with you. After paying £3000 excess fee. And paying a high insurance still a ridiculous and a poor service!. Don't ever get insured with this company.

I have been falsely accused of an accident and you have paid out without proper investigation. You are now demanding payment and threatening debt collectors.
I have evidences which were never explored.
They said a witness said a male was driving the car, but I am a female and description of the driver was ever provided when requested plus the hotel CCTV did not capture the car registration number.
This happened to me! Xs direct did not investigate my claim that a taxi driver named Thomas kauhsey had reversed into me, with a fake witness who could not remember the colour of my car! The fake witness also stated that she could not recall what happened! I was told by xs direct that if I fought this in court I could be charged 10s thousands of ponds in admin charges! I am still paying the debt. It happened in 2010

I received a letter with a claim that has been made from my car with driver license YS16OFH on the name of Simion Adrian postcode HA72QH, I didnt have any inccident, my car is new and doesnt have any scratch, I didnt received any letter at my home or emails only this last letter that the claim was settled, I cant understand how anyone can make a claim that im not aware, my car never was incidented, and with what proof they made a claim if nothing happen? and beside that how IM LIABLE TO PAY ANYTHING if I had an inssurance on my car? what for I paid a comprehesive inssurance? and how I was supposed to communicate with you if I didnt received any letter at my home and I didnt know anything? the only thing that I remember was a guy that I barely touch him in trafic and was not even a scratch, and that one didnt tell me anything he look with me at both cars and then he gone, but ive made 2-3 photo I think and in 24 july if I remember I send it to be wiser and told them about in case anyone is trying to make some claim cuz nothing happen in reality and the photos are proof cuz his car didnt have anything, and I cant understand how a 1500£ worth car made a claim of 11k? is hilarious, check the emails and see cuz I send the photos tha I will atach here right from july next year and no one can make a claim for anything, if it was that one, cuz in rest nothing ever happen, I cant pay anything for a claim that cant be made and even for the facts cuz I did spoke with inssurance everything that I knew and I WAS INSSURED, please check again the claim but was a mistake, and not from my part, but I cant understand how can someone make a claim without presenting photos driving license from the other drive, and a lot of other details, and why I didnt received any letter and email? They operate under authorized theft by finding a loophole in the law that enables them to charge thousands of pounds in excess to their clients, resulting from any claims. Usually you do not have to pay the excess unless you have had work done to your own vehicle. But they have found a way around this. Google them, you will soon find out how they operate. The misery and stress they are causing to many people, often young people, forcing them into horrendous debt, and I am talking thousands of pounds, is absolutely immoral. And this on top of already high premiums. They deserve a massive come-uppance for the evil way in which they run their business. Just evil, that's all I can say. To see the anguish, desperation and stress caused by what they do is worrying. They may well be responsible for people going into severe depression and worse. I have witnessed this in my own family. Maybe we should make our complaints to somewhere like moneysavingexpert.com - perhaps then someone will take the issue up with the authorities governing such corrupt companies. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

This has got to the the worst insurance company I have ever used. The customer service was terrible (Andrew mcgivern) extremely rude and unprofessional. When ringing to find out what was happening about my claim as no one had got in contact. He started shouting and hung up, it took 8 months to resolve the claim as no one on there side was doing anything. When I spoke to them they said they needed the police incident report xs direct said they had tried to request it numerous of times when I spoke to the police they actually said they haven't put in one request and that if they did it would be sent out straight away it still took over a week for xs direct to do this. By far this is the worst experience we have had with an insurance company and would not advise anyone to go there, if you do good luck!

Hi! Sorry for asking but did they pay you out your claim in the end? We are in the same situation with them atm and everytime we call them and ask about claim progress they say they are waiting for police incident report. And that's what they say for 3 months now. We also contacted police and been told that they never requested one. So we made a formal complaint to their complaints department mentioning this and their final decision came in couple of days after the complaint saying that they refuse to pay out for our stolen car. In addition to that they sent us a bill for 615£ to pay as an investigation cost and if we do not pay it they will cancel our policy plus this payment will be registered as a claim itself and they will not provide any nc bonus in the end. It just drives me mad how anyone as dodgy as xs direct could be allowed to do any business in the UK(((

I had this happen to me, I had to pay over £3000 including their £510 collection charge. They sent my case to debt collectors without informing me! They did not ask for the payment, they sent it straight to STA debt collectors.
They have done this to almost all their customers. Vile company! Rude staff at both XA direct and STA, this is illegal but they have found a way to legally destroy people financially.
No one will listen, the financial ombudsman do not care either! I hope xs direct go into administration and they all end up homeless

They clone vehicle number plates to claim monies off their clients and also the insurer makes fake claims that did not exist. They cancel the policy and demand a £19, 000 debt for a £5k car. I repeat don't trust anyone associated with XS Direct! Avoid.

Hi i received a text message claiming my insurance will be cancelled if i dont pay £256.00 upfront i asked for a bit of help in terms of paying the bill upfront or paying the bill in monthly instalments, the advisor did not want to help and said he is cancelling my policy then i asked to speak to the complaints department he transferred me to his manager who was rude and unhelpful i asked to go through to complaints he claimed they do not take calls i would have to write a letter, he the terminated the call for no reason, im not sure what to do i want to pay the bill and carry my insurance policy on but need to speak to a helpful advisor
