Ok so I've read a lot of zbiddy complaints.
Yes this website is a scam you have to put money down before you can join. But for all of you who have been scammed by them you obviously didn't read the whole page.
When you are asked to give your billing information it says just above it that the total package charge was $159!
I'm sorry if you feel ripped off but when your entering any new website where you might have to pay for something those that are legit will not ask for your billing information until you have won a bid or selected an item.
I don't mean to be harsh but I am only 19 years old and your trying to tell me that a bunch of middle aged people who should know better than me got ripped off because they didn't read the whole damn page?!
Buyer beware things are not always what they seem read everything before handing out your information!
Sincerely,
Brianna

When you register they automatically take $159 out of your account without asking or telling you that you are going to be charged. I looked into what it was about and noticed that the clock never runs down on the "bids" and it is the same people "bidding" on this scam. When I contacted them to get my money back they immediately withdrew they money from my account instead of providing customer service. They behaved like the cyber pirates that they are.
I received an email from the site that said I can bid on wholesale items just like on eBay for cheap. So of course I jumped at the occassion. When it told me to register, I did so. It asked for address and credit card info so when you win they can charge you. At 1st, I thought what, then I thought it made sense just in case they mail your item and you don't pay. I saw $159 and a 265, but they didn't say what it was and they didn't indicate that they were going to charge upon registration. Once I finished registering they said we have charged you $159. I was confused like why and for what. I didn't bid on anything yet. After awhile I thought whatever, let me take a look at the site. I bid once by accident, I was simply trying to view the next page. Then I bid 3 x's on something just to try it and it was okay. The next day a woman called to welcome me and explain the rules Being I was busy shemsaid she will call later on that night around 7pm but she never did. So once I knew what ite4m I wanted to get, I started bidding on it. I noticed the same people were bidding with me. Then when they stopped another group of EZ-Buddy bidders arrived. After I realized I couldn't out bid them because they were automatic, I stopped. A few moments later, they stopped and the same group of single bidders I was bidding with before came back. That's when I knew it was a scam & setup. There's no way the same exact people that left (single bidders) are replaced with another group of people (EZ Bidders), then they leave and the previous group come back, the same exact names. That's no coincidence. I knew then and there they scammed me out of my money. I was giving this site the benefit of the doubt because I looked it up after I signed up and it was said that it was a scam and you only win the beginner's auction. I was bidding on the iPad 32 gig, because I knew more people would bid on the Apple computer, even though that's what I really wanted. It was to be a gift for my husband because he starts school in July. I'm so disappointed because my husband has to get out the military, we may be homeless in a week and we don't have much money as it is. I just wanted him to have something he can complete his schoolwork and homework on. Yes, I mad I didn't win anythiing, Y es I mad I'm out $159, but I'm not mad at you. I'm mad at myself for believing in something I thought was real and having the faith that I can do something nice for my husband by telling him everything will be okay, also lifting his spirits for losing his job and having to worrying about how he will support his wife and kids. So, I would like to thank you for making a bad stressful situation for me and my family...worst!
I read all of the information and decided to do it fr fun and chose the 59.00 amount for some bids. when i filled out all of the information i realized too late that they had charged me 159.00 even though I had chosen the 59.00 amount. I used the live chat but they said I would have to call customer service. That there was nothing she could do. Has anyone else had this experience?
I received an email which saidn I could buy wholesale items just like on eBay for cheap through bidding. I clicked link and it asked me to register, I did so. Then it asked for address and credit card info so when you win they can charge you and send to you. At 1st, I thought it will ask me for authorization, therefore I cliccked Next button. To my surprised, it told me that 98 bid already purchased by my credit card. I could not believe it and went back to my email and clicked link, it asked me to regiter again, I did it as the 1st time, it charged again for another purchase of bid.

### Zbiddy!
While I was registering it automatically charged $60 to my credit card. They do not respond when calling the "888" number. This is a complete rip off.
1st complaint all their product except the gift card are overpriced. My main complaint is if you start winning alot they will suspensed your account. I started winning and they suspensed my account for 4 days when you call them to find out why account is suspensed they will just give you the run around, promise to call you back within 24hr but never do. After the 4th day i finally got a hold of a manager and she explain that I had comitted "Colusion" Since a friend on mine had logged onto his account from my computer, they accused us of colusion and and that if we to bid on anything the same we would not get the item and not be refunded the bids we used. So i ask them so everytime i bid on something i have to call him and make sure he did not bid on it too, they said if you win it will be under review. In any case it was just a way to slow our winnings. which is unfair SO BEWARE IF YOU START TO WIN A FEW ITEMS THEY WILL TRY EVERYTHING TO STOP YOU FROM WINNING!
It has nothing to do with how many things you win.
They monitor the IP address of the computer line you use every time you log in and bid.
If your friend is logged in to his account using YOUR computer line (wi-fi, etc, ) and is bidding on the same items YOU are bidding on with YOUR own computer sharing the same computer line, they consider that "Colusion".
If your friend logs in with his own computer at his own house there will not be a problem.
I was checking my bank account out and noticed I had $159.00 taken out from this place. I never ordered anything from them. I pulled up this website and seen they are a scam. This is the phone number you can reach them by [protected]. They will feed you a bunch of bull, they only was going to give me 79.00 back. Then I threatened to call the BBB and they put me on hold got back on the phone and said they would refund all of it back. So we will see, the count down is on. I am still going to report them. This really makes me mad how people can just take money out of your account. They would not give me their address.
I wanted to check it out. I read the whole Page I was how much it cost. I tried to leave the page, when a pop-up said get this at a discount trial price $14.95. that seem O.K. so I entered my info, submitted it watched for the confirmation check-out page. I Got a purchase total of $60.00. I was shocked . I called within seconds and was told it was Non-refundable. I said it was a mistake. they said the purchases has been made and is non-refundable. I too tried the auction it's a scam. I bid and was out over and over. then I watched the same group of names bid over the value of the item. A gift card for $50 was being bid on over $5.00 plus. No body pays more for anything when your trying to get it for less. this is a terrible SCAM.
I entered all of my credit card information as per your requeat, but then i changed my mind about purchasing your produst, so ( I DID NOT HIT THE SUBMIT BUTTON TO CONFIRM MY ORDER ON THE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION ), , but you charged me $60.00 anyway! I want this $60, 00 returned to my account! MY NAME IS DAVID CHILDERS< MY ADDRESS IS 3227 SAINT LO DRIVE, IRVING, TEXAS, 75060 MY E-MAIL ADDRESS IS ( davidchilders66@yahoo.com ) IKNOW YOU HAVE MY CREDIT CARD BILLING INFORMATION BECAUSE YOU BILLED ME $60.00, SO YOU CAN TAKE THAT SAME INFORMATION AND ( UNBILL ME !) please send confirmation of refund via my e-mail address. THANK YOU!

Zbiddy is a great site and I won couple of items and got them shipped. You need patience and strategy to win.
David, I don't think they have any bot on their payment page. You must have clicked the button and thus the payment has went through. Zbiddy is a nice site and I won couple of products and got them shipped.
Debra, penny auction sites work in the same way and thus the are also called as reverse auction site. Almost every experienced bidder try to bid when the clock is about to end and no one knows how many bidders are there. Thus, the bidding can go way past from the actual cost of the product.
I'd suggest contact your credit card company and block your card for such unauthorized charges. I purchased about 16 bid packages but they never charges my account with out my authorization.
Zbiddy is great site and one must first understand how a penny auction site works and then go ahead with bidding on such site else you will land up upset and annoyed like Brianna.
I am sorry to hear about your husband losing his job. In beginning, I too lost 2 bid packages when I won my first item. I contact the customer support department for a refund and there was a guy who explain my why they can't refund. Many users try their luck and when they lose the auction they tend to get refunds but if they win they never come back and ask to cancel the transaction and don't send the item. To maintain the balance of bidding they don't refund unless there is any genuine reason.
I don't think that without authorization they will charge your account. Get your card blocked.
Collusion policy is being used by many penny auction site to prevent unappropriate winners of an item and to provide chance of winning to other users. Well one is assured that one can win on this site and they do not use bots. Zbiddy has updates about this policy on their terms and condition page. You must read T&C page of any site before you start using their services
I never stuck with such situation on zbiddy but I'll keep an eye on. You must always take a screen shot for such issue for evidence. Else we can't beleive if anyone is saying truth. As far as my experience is concerned, Zbiddy is a nice site.
Zbiddy is a good site, david. I won couple of items on this website and got them shipped
Even, I had to entered my details at Zbiddy. But they never charged me as it is mentioned above. I still laugh when I see that I won a bid pack for 9 cents.
I was JUST LOOKING. Filled out enough info to look at the products for auction. Did not intend to bid and DID NOT hit any keys accidentally. After they get all your bank info, they ask, "ARE YOU READY TO WIN?" That does not mean that I am giving them my permission to take money out of my account. The next thing that popped up was a "Thank you for buying a $45.00 package with which to bid". I did no such thing. In reading the complaints on this company, I am not the first person who has "unauthorized charges" and everyone says they never get their money back. The money was out of my account so quick I did not have a chance to stop it. This company HAS to be stopped! Where can we go to shut these thieves down?
Zbiddy rocks! I won an iphone and got it shipped.
Well, I got my answer.. DON'T bid with ZBIDDY.. So sorry for the trouble they caused you and your family. We are all trying to keep things together and then these wanna get rich mutants screw everything up. Good luck to you and the others. Thanks for helping me and others stay away from this place. Best Regards, Lini
My credit card was also charged $45.00 without my authorization. We really need to research these kind online auction companies before committing to anything. Too many unsuspecting customers are getting ripped off.
