Ok so I've read a lot of zbiddy complaints.
Yes this website is a scam you have to put money down before you can join. But for all of you who have been scammed by them you obviously didn't read the whole page.
When you are asked to give your billing information it says just above it that the total package charge was $159!
I'm sorry if you feel ripped off but when your entering any new website where you might have to pay for something those that are legit will not ask for your billing information until you have won a bid or selected an item.
I don't mean to be harsh but I am only 19 years old and your trying to tell me that a bunch of middle aged people who should know better than me got ripped off because they didn't read the whole damn page?!
Buyer beware things are not always what they seem read everything before handing out your information!
Sincerely,
Brianna

WOW, what a scam... I was going through my E-mails when I noticed an ad for Black Fridays Specials. Being that I do a lot of buying online, I was curious, I did what I do for other auctions, I registered and gave a debit card number incase I bought and item. WELL QUESS WHAT, just as I finished registering, I was flashed an invoice for $99.00 dollars. It flashed before my eyes for a few secounds and disappeared, I was confused, I had just registered and not even in the auction site, I decided that I was seeing things but just to be sure I accessed my bank account and sure enough, there it was. I then went to my E-mail to see what I had paid for. Well, with out my knowledge and authorization, I was billed for 250 bids. I found the telephone number to Z-Biddy customer service but as yet I have not been able to talk to anyone. I immediately called my bank but was told that they couldn´t do much other then pay and file a complain. I went back to the Z-Biddy auction site and tried to used my bids and get something back. I am 76 years old and trying to win something on this site in almost impossible, I tried most of the night and a great part of day and still nothing. I give up, too many hours for these old bones.. BEWARE

hi, i just had the same problem. as a single mom at christmas time i really need that $99 back. did you ever have any luck?
I registered with zBiddy and as part of the registration process they asked my credit card info. Foolishly I entered it, only to have them immediately charge my card $99 for 250 bids, which I did not authorize (or realize I was authorizing). Of course now they will not respond to customer service emails or on their Live Chat, so I suppose that money is just gone. Don't make this same mistake!

I just talked to Zbiddy. There is a 14 day contract cancel option. If you've signed up in the past 14 days I encourage you to cancel. I am awaiting full reimbursement for the unauthorized $99.00 US Dollars they took from me. I have contacted my bank to notify me when it arrives and I have also saved all online chat documents and emails I've received. If this is a scam and I do not receive my reimbursement I can assure you I will bring the company to it's knees and make sure the people responsible pay for their actions through the proper ways of the US Justice system. This is of course if it is a scam. If I receive my reimbursement there is nothing I can do for you, apologies, but we will all be smarter in the future.
i like to bid on zbiddy coz zbiddy is best penny aution site.

Actually, I have had to call in and pay for my wins ...I found the staff to be so helpful. if there is any issue with the bids and bidding theyreturned all my bids and gave me more for the inconvenience. My site does not work on my acct..and i have had to call in to pay, but that is the only thing that i see so far. I have to check my bank statements. See if what you say is true...Louisiana
I find zbiddy to be very people oriented . If you speak to someone about that charge I am sure they will take it off. I have had a few problems with my acct working properly and they have refunded me all my bids, given me more bids to compensate for the inconvenience. So far they seem to be OK.
I have been a zbiddy customer for about 3 months and have won and received many very nice items including an ipad 2.
Absolutely companies will deduct money from your account. It could be a clerical error, a wrong number. One of the biggest companies had a policy of not shutting down a customer closed account and would continue to withdraw money from the customers bank account. It took a warning and fines from the FTC to get them to stop. any guess? aol. Block your card.
I bet rocky125 (above) can't even read this comment.
Unauthorized draw from credit card account is a scam, period. Even if they refund it when more astute people catch them at it. No company can accidentally charge a cc account. It is done on purpose -- deliberately. To be fair, I haven't tried Zbiddy. I came here to research before jumping in. I am glad I did.
This is really a gambling site. The above comment is a description of how you play. It is a matter of how long you will sit in front of your computer and GAMBLE! I wanted to bid on an IPAD. When I first joined in about 1:00 PM there were 2 hours plus left on the "AUCTION." At 9:30 PM the time would count down to 2 seconds and someone would bid again and add approx. 10 seconds to the count. This increase in bidding time happened over and over and over. My best guess would be it continured for 6 hours or more. Between 1 PM and 9:30 PM I would checked on the remaining time periodicially. I planned to wait to bid when the count was down to 1 or "Going" was flashing. At 9:30 PM I decided that I was not going to continue to giving any more of my time to this insanity. .Basically, this so called auction is really "the survivial of the fitess" Luckily, I only spent 16 bids out of 100. With your first purchase of bids & within 7 days you can get a refund of your remaining bids, when you decide that this "gambling" is not for you. This is probably what keeps these people out of trouble with the law. I am glad I realized what ZBIDDY was on the first day. Unless you do not have anything else in the world to do but sit at a computer all day and night and click your mouse on "BID" save your pennies and buy the item on sale at a store!
The site is a scam and a rip-off...they should be under federal investigation.
As i got done with my registration and checked the site i got a ring from my bank and when i checked my messages i found a charge for $159. For what? are we kidding with all the complaints they are still operating in these conditions.
This company in spite of being told I did not want to be a part of their company and to not debit my bank account for $99, this was done anyway. I have notified my bank of my intent to file fraudulent charges against this company.
I paid $159.00 to purchase bids on Zbiddy.com and tried bidding on various items. After spending many of my bids trying to win an item, a popup would appear, that said there was a website connection error. I would click the ok button, and try to bid again, and guess what? the error button would appear again, and all of a sudden the bidding was over, and someone besides me won.I complained to customer service at Zbiddy, but all I got was blame thrown at me by Zbiddy, saying the problem was my connection. I have an excellant connection, and never have connection problems on any site, other than on Zbiddy.com. Funny isn't it, that the only time an error button popped up has been when the Bid button is pushed on the Zbiddy site? I've never in all my years of owning a computer seen the error button that shows up on the Zbiddy site. It clearly says, it's a website error, yet Zbiddy will not take responsibility for a problem on their website.Don't waste your money on Zbiddy, you'll just lose your money like I did. Zbiddy is more like a gambling site. I just paid $159.00 and got nothing. In my opinion, ZBIDDY is a SCAMMING RIPOFF SITE!
The VERY SAME thing happend to us. I put in my credit card information and it was instantly charged without even giving me the option to choose package or anything. I NEVER authorized this charge and WHAM, I checked my bank account and it was gone. It almost overdrew our account. I have already contacted my bank and am awaiting an answer. Meanwhile, I will try to get a hold of the company and see if they will resolve this problem peacefully. We feel totally used and this is the first time that we have ever had this type of experience where we were charged without our consent online.

My money was credited to my bank account. I NEVER ordered anything. I appreciate the company returning my funds.
I had heard of zbiddy and was just checking out the website. all of a sudden I had been charged $159 and I'm on a small fixed income. Can't win anything as if you bid, time starts over. Pitiful excuse for an american enterprise, it's theft really. I did ask someone to reconsider charging me and they referred me. From then on, nothing. Nice scam for scammers.

Boy was I reeled in. I just kept waiting for the going and never won a thing. They show some people bidding on over 10 items at a time if you look through their upcoming auctions. I watched a bid being completed and the person (or machine) that won was a 1st time bidder. If you look at an ipad for example: Say it goes for $80. That's 8000 1 cent bids @ .60 each. Do the math. That's a $4800 ipad. Not a bad profit huh? What a rip off. These kind of sites ought to be put out of business.
I was just sucked into this website because of the bidding of some good items, only to find out that they were charging me sixty dollars just for the privilege of trying to buy something. Try is the operative word, because I have been sitting by the computer for hours trying to finish the deal. Unlike ebay, where you can either put in your top bid and leave, or can wait till the time runs out and see if you push the button first, those are not options here. I have pushed the button at zero probably 20 times today, only to have it zip back up to 15 seconds and higher dollar amounts. There is no realistic way to win these auctions. I would like to know how I can get my money back.
I never got to chose which bid package I wanted, I was immediately charged $99 upon entering my credit card information. I called the customer service dept. immediately. First I was told I would get a $49 refund (which was all "Steven" was authorized to do). I demanded his supervisor. " Mark Gomez" then said he could refund me $74.25. I said there was an error/and or flaw with your website. I never got to chose anything...you people just charged my credit card $99. I never picked anything, . I asked that a copy of this "recorded" phone call be e-mailed to me, as I am in customer service, and know for a fact...that it can be done. He refused. I will be contacting the Florida Attorney general, the BBB, any and all website's related to this fraud..and USAA...my credit card company. This isn't right
Contact ZBiddy at [protected] within 7 days of your first bid package purchase to get a refund.
According to ZBiddy’s guaranty, listed under their terms and conditions on their website, “All payments for bid packages are non-refundable except for any bid amounts remaining unused on the 1st bid package purchased by a user which qualifies for the ZBiddy guaranty as stated on the ZBiddy website. The refund will be available for 7 days from the date the user purchased its 1st bid package, provided that the user requests such refund from ZBiddy within such 7 day period.”
If you did not use any of your bids you are entitled to a full refund.
Do not allow ZBiddy’s customer support representatives to bully you around when you call to get a return on the bid package, which they charged you for without your consent anyway. The reps do not tell the whole truth on the phone when they state bid packages are non-refundable. Do not allow the reps to give you any sales pitches either. They will act like they are doing you a favor by telling you they will down size your bid package purchase for a cheaper price. Do not agree to this. Demand a return according to their own terms and conditions guarantee.
Never give ZBiddy any of your information. If you haven’t already made this mistake, never register or create an account on this website. The moment you give ZBiddy your credit card number, while simply creating an account, they immediately steal $60-$160 from you. They then try to make it look like you just purchased a bid package.
ZBiddy also sells your personal information, right away, to as many marketers as they can. The privacy policy on their website states they will use your information, “To allow you to receive other offers from non-affiliated third party companies and marketers. Send you marketing communications. Conduct research and analysis.” According to ZBiddy’s privacy policy the type of information they collect on you (and then share) is: name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, cell phone number, age, date of birth, gender, IP address, referring site, other information provided by you to company (I’m hoping against hope they are not also sharing my credit card number. I better close that account), and other technical information collected by the site’s servers.
I was receiving new types of telemarketing calls on my cell phone the very next day.
In my experience, ZBiddy is an illegitmate, fraudulent, scam of a website. They even run their company out of a building that looks like a storage unit in Miami, Florida. After ZBiddy stole $99 from me, I contacted a customer support representative and politely requested their mailing address. Attached is a seedy-looking photo of their address according to Google Maps.
I wish I had done my research before registering an account on ZBiddy’s website. Review after review shows that too many people have fallen victim to ZBiddy. This company needs to be shut down, and the owners need locked up. If you have been victimized by ZBiddy please go to the Federal Trade Commission website and file a complaint, https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. On the top, right-hand side of that page, there is a link that states, “Click here to file a complaint with the FTC.” Click it. It only takes a minute to file the complaint. Let’s all unite to ensure that justice is served.
I agree with all the above complaints. I have spent hours trying to bid on things and have never gotten anything. Unbenounced to me my bids expired. I complined enough and got them back. Did no good though. Lost them all! This website is a total RIPOFF and should be shut down! I love to hear from someone who actually won a bid!
The $60 charge is buried in their "Terms and Conditions" and as such, your bank has no legal recourse to make a claim for you.
I was however able to call Zbiddy.com and talked (and fielded sales pitch after sales pitch) to an Indian guy who was actually human with me. He did try to keep selling me on why I should use the website and kept offering me free bids and bid-cards and even a "coupon" card (to use purchasing products at one of their affiliates' sites) in roughly the same amount of money that I had been duped out of when I completed their "FREE" registration form.
I ended up having to be kind, but very firm with him in that I did not care about any of the offers, he could give them as well, but only after he put through my refund of actual $60 US currency. He said he would. It is supposed to take 7-10 business days. Fingers are crossed.
Wells Fargo has been dealing with complaints and claims ALL WEEK this week because of this company.
STAY AWAY -- DO NOT SIGN UP! Now I gotta go wait for my replacement ATM/Visa card from Wells Fargo (5-10 business days) and hope to God that $60 is coming back. Thank you Zbiddy.com!
I at first thought this site was pretty cool. I bought 250 "bids" for $159.00. I bid occasionally on different items but never won. But I still continued to bid off and on because I liked the challenge. Then a few days ago I received an email from them informing me that my remaining "bids" (242 at a value of 60 cents each) were going to expire in 4 days!
I went back to their website to look for the "rule" that said that after an amount of time your bids can expire. I found nothing. I emailed them to complain - - No response! I used some bids today to see if some recent activity would extend the expiration date - - it didn't! As of 10 minutes ago my remaining bids (227) expired and I can no longer bid. This site is a major rip off. I would advise everyone to stay away from this site and save your money!
This site hijacks people that click on FB links to nomorerack.com and then asks you to register for free so that you can bid on items. You register, they ask for credit card info to set up a payment account (my assumption was for guarantee of payment for purchases). Then suddenly they tell you that you just agreed to a $99 charge for a number of bids to be used later. I emailed and said that since I hadn't confirmed my order from the email they sent...I wanted to cancel the account. They emailed back that I should call them...I did and they said they would reduce my bill to 50% of what they had charged...I said no...unacceptable, just cancel and refund my card. They said "sorry, no refunds and no cancellations". They need to be closed down and jailed! What a scam!
