gas station - no receipts
I always have a problem getting recepits from the pumps at the esso station #[protected] at 7089 lougheed hwy, burnaby, bc. Canada. V5a 1w1 (7 eleven #37851). Often the speedstick/pass does not work and most times they're out of paper and I have to go inside the store and wait in line to get a duplicate. Last night they could not even produce a receipt inside because they said they were having a shift change (Didn't look like it to me and it wasn't even busy). So that's it - I have 3 cars in my family and most of the time we fill at this esso or the one at austin and north rd. (Half the time the speedstick does not work at this one also, and sometimes no recipts at the pump), because I live between these two gas stations. Well no more! After last night's flimsy excuse, I will never fill up at esso again - there is a shell 1 block down from the north rd esso and there is a chevron 1 blk away from the esso i'm writing about. I did call the store manager sachin at the 7089 lougheed store 2-3 mths ago but it looks like things are worse! The clerk last nite (Named lin) offered to give me another customers receipt from the garbage bin - with different credit card info obviously - you expect me to cheat the government when I claim my business expenses?
Btw my family and I (3 cars) have spent over a quarter of a million dollars at esso gas stations since about 1981 when I moved to the area. So just think about the future loss of business from me!
rude employee - store #29776
So I was just at the 7-11 in Little Ferry at 272 Liberty Street, and as the guy was ringing me up I stated that I would please like to get cash back, because I know at alot of places the cashier has to enter something so that you can get cash back. Well, he rang me up I put my card and then he gave me my receipt and I was like excuse me but i wanted cash back. And he said well you didn't hit no. I said well it never gave me that option. And he says...WELL THATS NOT MY PROBLEM! I not only could not believe he just said that to me! A paying customer, but did not understand WHY he felt it necessary to say such a thing! I was not being rude to him, and certainly did not deserve to be treated as such! I am a waitress and i deal with nasty, rude, belligerent people more often than i care to and STILL i am not at liberty to be rude and disrespectful tk them! Not only because I don't want to loose my job, but because thats the way i was raised! When your at work, no matter what job it is dealing with the public can be difficult, however you have to remain professional. Your working in a business! Do you not think i would LOVE to tell some customers about themselves or where to go! Of course i would! But that only applies to nasty people and still i cannot and would not because I am AT WORK! AT A BUSINESS! And i am a nice person! I wasn't nasty to him! So what the hell man? I wanted to cuss him out call the manager and raise hell, but didn't have time i had to catch my bus lol so anyway I have my receipt and next time im in the store i will speak to management, which im sure wont matter, thats why im posting this now i suppose! Im very upset about getting treated like that! Just Terrible!
Since you're short on time, have you tried calling the store and asking for a manager?
excessive sales taxing
I live in the Los Angeles area where the local sales tax rate is .0925%. I purchase a news paper several times a week at several local 7-Eleven stores. When rounded off to the nearest 2 digit whole number, the state tax on $ 2.75 = .25 . Yet, every one of the stores charges 26 cent tax. I noticed that other convenience stores charge 25 cent tax. I did the math and sure enough, your stores are overcharging on the state tax. When I asked the local 7-Eleven representatives why they do that, they all say that "corporate" sets the prices and they can do nothing about it.
That is why I am writing to you. Obviously, it's not about the money. However, what you are doing is dishonest and outright wrong. When rounding off tax totals you do not get to round off to the next higher number until the third digit to the right of the decimal point is equal to or greater than 5. That is how it has been for the past 100 years or more.
religious discrimination, female belittlement, conspiracy
Ref: 7 Eleven Store (27620); 303 Sante Fe Dr., Denver, Co 80214
My name is Cleveland Smith. My wife, Monique Gant, is the Assistant Manager at 7 Eleven at 303 Sante Fe Dr. (Store # 27620), in Denver, Colorado 80214. Monique has been working for this store since July 13 of this year (2017) and expresses her enjoyment for working for this corporation ever since. I can't even describe the joy and excitement she had when told she got the job. Our family have been homeless and receiving assistance through Family Promise of Greater Denver because of unforeseen circumstances, yet Monique decided to use her situation as motivation to hit the streets of Denver to find a job. She came across an opportunity at the 7 Eleven store on Sante Fe and 3rd and even agreed with Jaiesh Baijal to start off, below minimum wage at $8:50. I was vehemently against it. My argument was that my wife' skill-set deserved more than what was presented. But Monique wanted to work, irregardless of the pay, for the ‘family' sake'. Who am I to stop a mother from wanting providing for her family at whatever the cost. I can recall that she was promised by the store manager, Jaiesh Baijal, a manager position with pay, and that her hard work forwarded her that opportunity. As her husband hearing her manager tell me these things, brought excitement. He said that she was going to start being trained for the manager position, yet has been displaying intolerable and harmful behavior that cause me to think that maybe her best interest in not a concern of his. Jaiesh has displayed on several occasions, religious discrimination, belittlement of female, and several instances of conspiracy with those who are likeminded and of the same religion as him. These are characteristics that should not be tolerated or accepted in ANY work environment. If we are honest, we can agree that these actions are unethical, illegal and poorly display the mission and vision of this corporation.
My purpose and hope is to find some sort of resolution to this matter. Monique loves working for this corporation and desire to take the current store to heights it hasn't seen. Yet, as a concerned husband, I refuse to allow my wife to be in a work environment where she is being abused, taken advantage of, or oppressed by her supervisors, for empty promises and false hope. I definitely don't want serious claims, such as these, to jeopardizing the further success of this store. But if these critical issues are not addressed, what kind of message would this corporation be sending to the community? It would say that this corporation discriminates against religious practices, belittles females and conspires against its employees if they don't fit into ‘their' scheme of things.
Jaiesh' unethical practices and abuse towards his employees compromise the very integrity and reputation of the 7 Eleven Corporation. Organizations such as the Better Business Bureau and Denver Post, are only a few outlets that look for instances of inappropriateness and discrimination in the workplace.
My wife is important to our household and works very hard to support her family. She supports this corporation and desires to continue to do so whatever capacity she is asked. But as a concerned husband, I cannot allow this abuse to continue on without taking action. This is my attempt at some form of resolution.

44 oz fountain cup lids-clear lids
I visit my 711 store 3 to 5 times a day for fountain drinks and the only problem i have is these lids. They are HORRIBLE! They are constantly popping off the cup spilling all over my car and my clothes. They have NO GRIP to the cup so i have to go to a valero and get a proper lid that can keep my drink inside the cup. I know every 711 in San Antonio has these clear no grip lids and i desperately hope y'all can change this soon because it have been getting on my nerves for months now. Please do something to change this at least in San Antonio, Please!
I just wanted my cup of joe before I went to work
Went to a 7 Eleven at 3613 Lane Ave S in Jacksonville, Fl 32210 as I usually do to get a cup of coffee around 435 am and was told by a new clerk that they wasn't allowed to make coffee before 5 am.I have traveled to many states and was able to get a cup of coffee but never heard of this policy. This is really troublesome because I like this store but within a month a new WAWA is opening directly across the street.
unauthorized credit card charges
Today when I am trying to buy the hotdog from 7-11 which location is 202 S Main St, Newark, DE 19711, U.S. I don't know why but the cashier told me to insert my credit card again after I paid for my hotdog. I do what he told me to do but I had check my mobile bank statement after I paid again. I find that he charge me two times for same product. I try to explain to him that he might double charge, but the cashier's attitude is really bad and he doesn't even listen to me. He repeats again and again that he didn't charge me. However, the bank statement will not lie to me and I told him that I can see the charge from my phone. After that, he yells at me and throws 6$ which is only half of his charge. He grabs my Hotdog away and told me to get out with a bad attitude. This is the worst experience I have in 7-11.
owner and manager
Complaint on Carrier and Roy Orr 711.
Owner tried to hide and do nothing on this photo. This is a complaint made on the store assistant manager that became the acting manager. She goes on to talk to a customer about the wrong doings, and buys marijuana from a customer. It tells how the employees there have to run their shift. My big thing when I go there is how the bathrooms are always a mess.
need employment certificate
Good Morning,
My name is Nabil Rehman, I have worked in 7 Eleven #33518, 360 Ridge Rd
Mahwah, NJ [protected]. From [protected]. in 2014 I got promoted as a Store Manager and I resigned from store because of the Owners (Joon and Stewart YOO). Underpaid at work. They were paying me a cashier salary and making me work as a manager for months. I have worked for some years in 7 Eleven and I need an employment certificate. I have contacted 7 Eleven corporate before also, regarding My Employment Certificate but didn't get any response. This is my last warning that I need my certificate. Next step would be a legal action.

incident from september/ october 2016 at 2850 bladensburg rd ne, wdc 20018
I am still waiting for a reimbursement check from corporate for the plant that 7-11 damaged during the store transition. I reported it and the area representative, Shawn Nelson came to assess and told us to go ahead and to make the replacement and repairs and submit for reimbursement. We were kind enough to do partial work and were not trying to hassell 7-11 for a quick resolution. I submitted the invoice per Mr. Nelson's instruction which was to leave it for him at the 2850 Bladensburd Rd store and left it with the clerk in an envelop. He did acknowledge receipt and told me it has been sent to corporate for reimbursement check. I kept following up with him and no response. But when he finally did, he told me he was out of town for 3 weeks at that time and had passed it on to his area manager, Greg Manzer who is never available nor did he ever respond. I e mailed him, no response. Time passed since we are all busy. But this is unacceptable and i will pass this on to an attorney to get it satisfied.
customer service
October 13, 2017, Around 11 am, I entered a 7-11 location in Oakland, International Blvd, and had a very bad experience when I try to Cash my Scratcher Tickets.
I said, "can I cash this ticket please". The Middle-aged Asian Female Worker (No Name Tag) looked at me, confused. "what you want?"
I go, "I think I won $20 on this ticket"
and she said "you need scratch the barcode, there is a barcode, I need that barcode to cash the ticket"
I said, "oh well, I don't know where it is."
And, all the sudden she decided to completely ignore me. She called the next customer who behind me, and asked: "what can I do for you". without any explanation to me. And I was still standing in front of her at that time.
After a minute, another younger cashier walked in the register station. and she asked her, "do you know where the barcode is?" This younger cashier soon helped me to scratch all over the ticket, try to find it. and meanwhile, the Middle-aged cashier said (to herself or to the younger cashier, IDK) "why you play the scratcher if you don't even know where the barcode is, STUPID" in Cantonese.
As a customer, I was very irritated with her behavior. I didn't react to her comment right way. But I felt she seem to have an attitude problem. It makes me feel like, "Oh, I'm so stupid, and I probably shouldn't play the game." Talking [censor] about the customer, in front of the customer's face, and hoping the customer won't understand it? That is very unprofessional and given my 100% Asian appearance, she was definitely not thinking carefully when she made the comment.
This 7-11 is the closest convenient store/ gas station to me, about one block up the street from my house. However, I rather spend my money at another store, which about 3miles away from my house.
rude manager
October 13, 2017, I processed my NBI clearance online and part of it is to choose a payment method which I chose 711 as the payment center.
It said that I will only pay Php115.00 on the form.
I went to pay the said amount at 7-Eleven - Salvador St, Cebu City.
I was surprised when the lady at the counter said I have to pay Php155.00 including the processing fee when the automated payment machine only said it costs Php1.00 for the processing fee.
Anybody who sees that increase in fee will surely ask why.
I politely asked the lady at the counter as to why it reaches to Php155.00 but the manager suddenly appeared and sarcastically answered me.
She said: "Dili na ma process sir kung dili nimo bayaran ang full amount including the processing fee. Bisan asa ka mu adto mao jud na ang bayara" (The payment won't go thru if you won't pay the full amount including the processing fee. Even if you pay that in a different branch, you still have to pay that amount). She said this in a rude and sarcastic manner.
I find it rude for a manager to answer me the way she did. I asked the lady politely and yet she answered me in an inappropriate manner. Additionally, I was not talking to her.
I wish u could lecture that manager on how you treat your customers.
no refund
I entered a location in Florida and had a very bad experience when I asked for a refund on unopened products in which, I paid for with wrong form of payment and was going to repurchase items with the coreect form of payment. And was refused by a extremely rude and unprofessional woman. Said location is on 34th street N and 5th ave N in st. Petersburg Florida. My next contact is BBB
plenti program
It should be mandatory that all 7-11 locations hold training on their plenti programs to all employees. This morning after 30mins of waiting for the incompetent employee to figure out how to use plenti and being late to work, he redeemed my plenti points which I was saving to help go towards a gift for my daughters birthday without my authorization.I told the incompetent employee I did not want to use my plenti points, which is was too late, plus he never asked me did I want to or not.His only reply was I’m not trained on how to use plenti so he don’t know how to use it.This is a problem not only at this store but many 7-11 locations I’ve been to...nobody knows how to use the plenti program, which is unacceptable. So now I’m out of 2400 plus point that I wanted to save because your employees don’t know what they are doing. No excuses...it needs to be mandatory training on everything in that store from top to bottom if you’re going to work there. October 10, 2017 for a moment i just want to let it pass but i think if im going to ignore it maybe some other customer will also encountered that situation, 6:15 AM i decided to buy on 7/11 east avenue between suzuki and burger machine my breakfast also my snack, when im on the cashier i already told the boy staff that i want my bread toasted and put my 500php to pay, the boy staff already open the bread while the girl staff (with glasses and mole on the face i dont remember her name) received my money with snobbish look said that "dont you have smaller bill? we just started to open""i dont have smaller bill" i said and take back my money and leave when im already on the door she shouted "wait" so i looked back but she talked to the boy " do we have smaller bill?" raising her brows, i feel ashmed that time, im hungry and that rude staff! it really ruined my day
tried to charge me 2 dollars for a dollar slurpee.
Hi,
On Friday 6th of October,
My 3 friends and I went to 7-11 as usual after school to get a slurpee for the walk home.
My friend shouted another friend, so he gave the man 2 slurpees for 2 dollars.
My other friend bought his own.
Then when I went to pay,
He charged me for 2 slurpees.
I told him that my other friend just paid for the other guy, and he didn't believe me.
I wouldn't give him 2 dollars so he got very angry.
I gave him my dollar and walked out.
He was a mean man who tried to scam me a dollar.
My request is for you to fire him, or for him to say sorry to me next time I come in.
the big gulp cups /cigarettes
First I’am a frequent customer of this 711 and has been since it been up and running. Me and my family come here all the time my kids especially likes the slurpee and big gulps . Well my daughter purchased a pack of cigarettes the other day and when she open them and smoked one she noticed it was staled . So she go back to tell the manager and he told her no there wasn’t it’s a date on the bottom of the pack. He proceeded to tell her that she was not welcome in the store anymore she can’t get ice anymore with her big gulp cup and told my other daughter he gonna to call the police on her if she came back. Now mind you like I said we are frequent customers and have been since day one of him opening but I felt he treated my daughter unfairly . And all he had to do was exchanged the cigarettes in which she purchased from him. I’m very disappointed in this franchise company . First for not treating the customer with just do and honoring they stuff. Oh and I failed to mentioned when she takes the cigarettes back he snatched them out of her hand wow no respect well he lost a good loyal customer.
the store in general
7-eleven (3735 Fulton road) is the closest store to me. I'm there at least 3 times a day. In the last month this store has gone completely downhill. They never have their coolers stocked with what the signage says they should have. They've been out of rip-its for over a month which I used to buy two a day. They consistently run out of slurppe mix. Old coffee and today I burnt my hand on the first fresh coffee I've seen in a while because they have no coffee sleeves. I'm sorry to say if this keeps getting worse I will have to switch stores. That's over a 100 a week this store will loose because I also get my cigarettes here.
manager
The manger from 7/11 on1360 s.plano rd literally charge people fir everything. Restroom, spoons, tap water and for using the microwave
I went today to heat up my food. And asked him if i can have a plastic fork and he told me that I have to pay for botasking I asking how nuch and told me 2 dollars and I told him that was crazy and then He told me to get out. ..and start cursing at me ...and told me i wasn't welcome to store any more.
cashier
I pulled up to 7-11 to get gas. I sent my little brother in with a ten dollar bill to pay for said gas. He comes out to tell me that when he was handing the cashier the money after telling her “Ten on pump two”, she told him that “That’s not the way to hand someone money”. He gave it to her the way any one would give money. Why she spoke down to him, I don’t know. What authority did she hold to tell him that? I bet if I did the same thing she wouldn’t have said anything. I told him next time that happens to just take back the money and to tell her fine don’t take my money then.
