I was at 7eleven earlier today, when the bank machine ate my card. I kindly notified the lady who worked there that her machine was not working so she could give notice to anyone else to prevent this from happening to them as well. As she agreed, and I left the store. Upon exiting she gave some time so I could be a bit farther away, and she runs up and yells at me "It;s not my f***ing problem, call the bank". I went to go and ask for her name so I could make a complaint to her manager, unfortunately she covered her name tag. At this time, I asked for her manager and she yelled at me saying "I'm calling the police because you're threatening me" First of all, I'm an 18 year old female, and she's a 40 year old woman, so she should have bee mature enough to not come out after me. I told her that I was filing a complaint, and that I would like to speak with her manager, once again she yells at me "Get the f*** out of my store" I refused to leave until I found out her name so I could make the complaint. She refused to get me the manager, and so I just stayed in the store looking around for her manager. When he came out, she uncovered her name tag, he name was Shantel. After this, I told her manager what had been said and done, yet her manager agreed that with the way she treated customers was okay if they were giving her a hard time. I went to make a formal complaint online promptly after the incident, and I was unable to file a complaint because their website had a "broken link" I'm just assuming they don't want complaints. So I proceeded to call head office in British Columbia, yet I was unable to get a hold of anyone there. Clearly 7eleven is nothing but a sketchy store. I would suggest that no one shop there, due to this fact. If anything serious happened you would be unable to get a hold of them. Overall, this lady needs to be fired.

Overcharged
I purchased a Coke Cola, snickers, and gas from the local 7 Eleven totalling $33.24 and they actually debited $833.24 from my account. This is no joke. They have admitted it was a system error but have I gotten a refund yet. As of today, NO! 7 Eleven has promised a refund but will not tell me when I would get my money back. They have also stated that thi...

The Manager of this store at 251 W. Montauk Highway in Lindenhurst, NY, Mr. Odk, refused to refund deposit bottles which were purchased at his store. He said I must make a purchase in order to get my refund. That is against the law. I contact Ms. Janey Appia Comacho, customer manager, at Seven 11 Corporate headquarters. She did nothing. I contacted the...
Read full review of 7-ElevenHigh profit store, no/low maintenance
Ok, well this 7-11 makes lots of money.
It's most likely the busiest store in the province.
But the company just let the store go down hill.
It gets used and dirty equiptment.
Patch jobs and quick fixes.
The company says other stores are borrowing from their budget, and that it's too busy to get an overhaul.Floor tiles are broken or missing. In the kitchen; it's way too small, parts of the ceiling are broken and are water damaged. Coolers break down, freezer breaks down, sinks leak, dishwater is out of commission for months at a time. All the repair guys say "REPLACE WITH NEW EQUIPTMENT" The corporation is too dumb to do what they say and save money in the short run with quick fixes than replace the old and dated equiptment the new equiptment.
Slower, less profit stores get brand new shiny stuff, while this store get's the hand me downs. Yet to quote "This store does daily cash deposits, that other stores do in a week".
The higher ups just don't care.
They keep promising "Next year" or "This spring" or "In a few months" while it's been like that for "a few years" now.
Honey, I wish I could belive you on this one... but you're wrong.
This store makes over 3 mill a year.
The company is just cheap.
It's far from slated to being closed.
(It's only one of two stores in a gas, coal, hydro, and mineral town)
And the 2nd store isn't a 7-11. It's a ### mac's lol.
Most of the stores that closed up in London were because they were just leasing the land. I think it was Esso or Petro Canada that owned the land, and they just did not renew the lease because they don't want 'competition'. Whoever it was, owns the gas bar at the SuperStore, but only one 7-11 store was close to a Loblaws/SuperStore gas bar.
The two 7-11 stores that remain, I'm pretty certain they own the land, so no worries of them having to close up because of leasing issues there.
Hopefully you don't lose this store, because I would hate for Mac's to be the only convience store around. lol. Nothing like expired snacks at inflated prices to brighten your day, is there.
But about the company being cheap, that wouldn't surprise me. Most don't give a ### anymore, but then they'll wonder why the employee turnover is so high. If they'd only pay attention to the small things...
Wouldn't surprise me if this store is slated to be closed soon. Almost all of the stores back in London have now closed up shop. Only two remain. Can't say I've seen very many here in Ottawa either, and other towns are the same.
It's a shame that 7-11 has become a shell of it's former self. Mac's Milk is taking over by the looks of it, and that's not a good thing. They refuse to even cary bus tickets because they don't make money on them. Yet they're too stupid to figure out that those that do come in to buy transit tickets, they almost always buy a coffee, a drink and a snack as well.
Manager of the company was very rude!
I came in to the store to buy a drink and their was a man wearing no uniform, when i was getting my drink from the cooler he pumped into me and made me drop my drink, he turned around and told me that i would have to pay for that drink, while giving me an attitude face. When i went to pay the drink i asked the cashier that who was the man that was not...

On 9.25.2010 the franchise owner of the 7-Eleven, Store #26998 @ 12450 A Burbank Blvd. in North Hollywood, CA., [protected], phone number on receipt is [protected], intentionally over charged me because I had a couple of coupons for $1.50 off each for any style of Marlboro cigarettes. The price displayed in giant numbers on the front door & on the cigarette shelf was $4.99 and on my receipt which I still have, I was charged $5.79 less the coupon amount. I brought this to his attention and he stated that since I was using a coupon for $1.50, I could not get the posted price. I frequent that store often, but I cannot believe that the owner would intentionally cheat, steal, illegally over charge me just because I had a coupon. That is the lowest scam/theft that a franchise owner could commit. And still look me in the eye and tell me that he can do that. I think that I will also contact North Hollywood Police Dept. and the 7-Eleven Franchise Corp. & Marlboro Corp. & Los Angeles County Department of Weights and Measures. I have used cigarette coupons in that store before, but always when a clerk was handling the transaction. Oh yes I forgot, the owner also told me that I could not use the coupon if I purchased the pack of Marlboro's that had the manufacture markings showing $1.00 off on the package. All this concerns only the one brand that pertained to the coupon (Marlboro) that was sent to me from Marlboro for my birthday. Each least Marlboro was nice enough to send me 3 coupons for $1.50 off each. Too bad I was robbed by the store franchise owner. What a very nice birthday gesture. Yea this transaction was for 2 packs and I presented the owner with 2 coupons for $1.50 off each. I got double screwed out of my birthday gift from Marlboro. I know for a fact that this person is the owner; because I asked him and he stated yes he was. He rarely works the front counter unless he has an employee shortage. How can a person feel that he can do this to someone and know that he can get away with it yet not feel bad when confronted, or at least admit that he stole from me right in front of my eyes?
This is a follow-up to my original post.
1. First let me clarify, the $4.99 is not any type of special price, discount price or sale price, $4.99 is the standard everyday price, excluding taxes.
2. On the back of the coupon is printed: TERMS OF COUPON OFFER – CONSUMER: Limit one coupon per pack or carton purchased, except when used in combination with on-pack or on-carton coupon.
Today 9/28/2010 @ 3:02pm I received a call from District Franchise Director who stated the store franchise owner was contacted concerning the complaint I submitted to 7-Eleven Corporate Offices and I was advised that a mistake was made and brought to the attention of personal involved and that should not happen again. The underlying intention for the mistake is unknown but possibly some type of misunderstanding? 7-Eleven Corporate Director stated that he is thankful that the problem was brought to their attention so that it may be addressed and corrected. And for any inconvenience that may have resulted from this transaction, I will be compensated with 7-Eleven gift cards. I told the Director I did not expect any type of compensation, only that I was extremely concerned about what had transpired and I was not going to let this go unreported, as I believe the majority of customers would probably not give it another thought and just “blow it off”. I’m really impressed that the Director took time to contact me and I told him I really appreciated this follow-up from Corporate and as far as I am concerned the problem has been documented and closed.
"Oh thank heaven for 7-Eleven"
Just remember the next time you are taken advantage of, either by mistake or intentionally, stand-up for what you believe is right. Too many people now days just let the world roll over them without speaking up. This great country of America was not built by wimps.
I guess Stealth Pilot forgot to put batteries in his cockpit calculator.
Any 3rd grader can figure out you were duped out of 0.80¢ on each pack of smokes.
($5.79 - $4.99 = 0.80¢ x 2 = $1.60)
I wonder what the Stealth Pilot was smoking?
Well Chief Grey Wolf you should be aware by now that the Native Americans have been duped, screwed, lied to, etc. ever since the immigrants discovered this country many hundreds of years ago.
Good Luck & Happy Trails,

Double billing on debit card and more
I have noticed random one dollar charges on the screen when I pay with my card and when I notice they say it was a mistake and take it off, this has happened more than twice. I have noticed one dollar or more missing from my cash change and they say sorry and give me the correct change. I have paid for something and they did not ring it up, but told me the price, I give them the cash and they give me change from a drawer next to the register. Just today I looked at my bank account online, like I do everyday and I noticed a double charge for the exact same amount. I will go in tomorrow morning and show them my printout and see if they will make it right. I am just sick of them trying to rip me off. I can't imagine how often they have ripped off my husband. 7-11 1434 So. White Rd San Jose CA.
Rude customer service by owner
I have given this 7eleven alot of bussiness during the time period that I have lived in this area. The employees have always been very curtious and kind to me, the way a loyal customer should be treated. The problem I am facing is with the owner. Anytime I have walked in there with my girlfriend ( I am gay) when the owner has been present; I have been treated like a bumb off of the street. He will watch us when we are shopping picking up various items and will constantly question our id's and our credit cards. He always speaks to us in a very demeaning tone. Furthermore, what brought me to writting this email, was an incident that happened tonight. I went in to buy my cigarettes and a few drinks, I then picked up the "whose in jail" newspaper because unfortunately i recently had a family member who has been incarcerated. It has never been aproblem before that I pick up a paper while i am in there and briefly looking through it while they are ringing my items. He abruptly takes the paper out of my hand and says "Its a dollar to look at this paper too." I know this for certain- I will never shop at a seven eleven location again or give them an ounce of my money. Furthermore, I have told a number of my friends about this incident (alot of them being part of the gay community) and they too will refuse to give any location any type of bussiness. Amongst evernything else, I will do whatever possible to contact 7eleven corporate, file a complaint, and make sure that this man is either disciplined or dissmissed. I also expect an apology. If any of the demands listed above are not met, I will make sure to make this cruel treatment from seven eleven public; and make sure a band of all seven eleven stores occurs from customers. Trust me, the gay community will not take this lightly. This will not be a problem that will go unoticed. I will also try to my full potential and effort to take legal action for discriminatory treatment. If anyone knows how to get in contact via email to seven eleven corporate, please let me know. Thank you.

Wow, I should be careful then
I am a Loss prevention manager for Game stop and I don't think eying every second is great customer service. That's why we have sensors and Video surveillance and the police for that matter. Even if they where to see anyone stealing it is against the law to harass anyone inside the store (SPECIALLY if it's a retail chain like 7) WHERE NOT talking about your regular convenience store privately owned Like what your talking about. In RETAIL Even if they put something in their pocket You can only go after someone if your a security or part of loss prevention OR THE POLICE and IF they go OUTSIDE the store with UN-paid merchandise only after then not inside the store. or you can ask them to leave if there causing other trouble. Because of the risk of getting sued by a customer many retail chains respect this and their customers., which I believe 7-Eleven should work better on. And no I have no issue with them watching their property I have an Issue with them Watching me every second and Harassing me as I buy my products or even fill a deposit slip inside there establishment I guess they do it themselves and think everyone is like them. I see how you defend 7-Eleven maybe work for them so I understand. and nope I don't ### and it's not their money it's actually the company's money they just manage it I even seen people working at 7 eleven giving people FREE merchandise so I don't think they feel like their getting "robbed". It's just there in their PMS mood and bring up any excuse to cause trouble. for example YOU CAN'T USE ANY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD even if there is a PAD to pay and stickers all over WE ACCEPT VISA /MC ETC... BECAUSE IT CHARGES ME .50 -$1 EVERYTIME' wah wah like it's coming out of his own pocket yet he gives his friends FREE chips and soda WOW.
I thought you refereed to me also stealth..somce I read carefully: 'than you both already do.' confused me sorry
lol and Mica I am faxing them this moment and already also told HQ thanks so much for the info.
If you're refereeing to me. No you have to read it more carefully IT HAS NOTHING to do with Checking I.D . I didn't get a chance to swipe or even show my card and the guy started yelling at me saying: NO YOU CAN'T USE ANY CARD! IT CHARGES ME .50 or $1 " every time anyone uses it. I am telling everyone not to accept any cards. Please read more carefully.
same treatment for me but at another 7 eleven in Pomona, ca it always seems to be the owner to be rude and eye you every second. it has been so common that now when I shop at an Asian mall store and they watch me I say "I feel like I am at 7 eleven".
I FILED A COMPLAINT HERE: http://corp.7-eleven.com/ContactUs/tabid/184/Default.aspx
I went to the "store related customer comments form". I hope this s** gets fixed soon with all the 7 eleven owners hinking there all high and mighty.
Illegal worker
I went to seven eleven in New York City (14th st, 6th Ave) and i was walking around eventually.. a guy moping the floor happens to touch my legs.. i told the boy; its ok but you should watch people walking in your store. The boy start getting mad at me... i didn't knew what was his problem but question arises that 'can't i tell him to be carefull while working. I talk with the manager and even he got mad at me all of a sudden and started talking ### in their own language. I said ' what the hell is this.. u made a mistake and u start talking me bad thing about me thats not good.
Later i found that the Manager was working illegal over there. He is in F-1 status and his name is PRATIK SUBEDI. Now, i am surprised that he is not supposed to work even and he is getting mad with the customer... Now i am going complain about that guy in the immigration centre.. i am so disappointed with seven eleven company also hires crazy illegal workers.
I was a regular customer over there. I start going there since the store opened. But now i don't prefer to go there unless that manager is fired.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You sound so ignorant it's ridiculous, look how horrendous your grammar is. You should learn English because I'm sure that " illegal worker" spoke it better than you did. I hope you enjoy going to immigration to complain about something that happens so often they'll just laugh in your face, so you feel like the [censored] you really are. This website is to complain about scams, ripoffs, and customer service. Not to be a prejudice racist ### who is probably illegal himself due to the fact he can't type in English. Haha goodbye.
Checkout boy is rude
If 7 Eleven does not train its low level monkey employees to be polite to customers and not pound and whistle, they will be FIRED.
look at this guy calling someone else a monkey and he's complaining about customer service...what a ###...who would want to service you with your attitude? if i owned or managed a store you would be banned from it. just go get your slurpee and move out!
You are one to talk. Listen to yourself. Your not a queen and frankly you don't deserve anyone's politeness. I am so sick of people exaggerating ### and not backing up what they say. And whats this threat about being fired? I love how you think you can get someone fired. Cause let me tell you 7 eleven doesn't give a ### about about you, they have millions of other customers to please. And they will most definitely pick the employee over your sorry ###. You call him ignorant, look in the mirror and take a look at yourself.
Mean manager
On july 11, 2010 the mean and cruel frankenstien manager of 711 gas station was very mean, insulting, cussing, complety non professional, just because we simply came in very politely asking about the 711 cellebration anniversary. He talks to us like he couldnt care less and like he was the only intelegent one there. The next thing we see is him yelling at us to get out. The other employee there was also very disrespectful to us. I tried to complain to 711 headquarters, and obviously they dont care with no 800 complain, one on one talks. The 711 gas station company never gave no apoligy or settelment of anything. So I guess they dont care about offending their customers.
Harassment
Today at 11:08 pm went to 7-Eleven to buy some chips and a drink. The cashier on the register name Donald was been nice at first untill he ask me how I was paying told him with my Lone Star. He slide the card and ask for my pin number told him I was not giving him the pin number. For him to stop asking for the pin number told him the card was my friend in...

Went for "free" Slurpee, they were "out", though the machines looked pretty full. We asked which cup was a large & the clerk said "yes, that's the large". We got to the counter, the same clerk rang up the purchase & it was $1.50 more than the large (a Holographic WW cup, though he didn't tell us the additional cost). This wouldn't have been so bad, except there was a long line in back of us & we had only the exact change, for the large. Fortunately a nice girl next in line paid for the remaining amount.
Quite embarrassed by yesterdays incident & won't be returning to 7 Eleven, Wilson Farms will now get my business
Well yeah, it was the primarily the incorrect pricing & attitude of the store clerk that irked us.
For the Free Slurpee, you had to be there an a certain time to catch the small cups they were using as part of the giveaway. It was a "while supplies last" event, so though the machine may be full if there weren't any cups left you got nothing.
Can't help you on the pricing though
Rude workers
Here's an e-mail I tried to send to the 7-11 Customer Relations Department, but I kept getting an error so it didn't allow me too. Alright so it's free Slurpee day at 7-11, and I was on my way home from my baseball game when I decide to stop for my free Slurpee. I have never gotten a free Slurpee before on 7/11 so I just assume that the smallest cup i...

the 7 eleven on vanowen and de soto in the city of winnetka has the worst customer serivce ever. specially the old indian guy that always greets you freindly, he will not help you with anything. i went in to 7 eleven to get some lunch, i went to pay, he greeted me nicely, then while i was paying with my card, i accidentally pressed no cash back, when i did want cash back, i told him nicely that i accidentaly pressed no cash back, then with a really bad attitude he said "no that already over" if u want cash back you need to buy 5 dollar worht of stuff again. then i asked him nicely even thought he was an ### hole, could you return and recharge me for the items? i am really sorry, i even said SORRY. he was like no no no, and ignored me when i tried to say something else, and whats even mroe funny is the OWNER was there too and didnt say anything! WHAT THE HELL! the worst customer service ever!

Horrible customer service
Everyday i go to the same 711 and not be racist but only indians work there! Each one of them are rude they dont greet anyone with a smile and they seem upset t be at work! When i place my items on the counter they grab them scan it and toss it back to the counter with any thing (dounuts, soda and even the hot dogs! they are rude and i would like to see a new group to replace them!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I submitted a complaint in may 2010 and have had no response, now i have to complain because i didn't get a response after 3 months to my original complaint. When i call and give the complaint number, no response.
I was treated in a disrespectful manner by a cashier named Jessie, this guy was so rude, just the worst attitude I ever encountered. I went to counter and placed my items down, the cashier scanned items and hurredly placed two bags of chips into a bag. He was talking to some dude that always hangs around and plays lotto, this guy was showing the cashier his smart phone and the cashier was more interested in the phone then attending to me, when my debit card didnt scan properly I proceeded to pay with cash, I tried to get his attention because by now I was getting irritated because he was not paying attention to me and I was running late for work. He then violently grabbed the items and told me to never come back to the store and he said didnt like "MY ATTIDUE" He was way out of line and I just left because I felt violated and I didnt want to react in a bad way(I did knock a small sealed creamer off the counter in disgust, that was me being upset) This all happend Sat night 3-16-13 9:55pm at the 711 on 2541 s barrington ave #[protected] (At Gateway blvd.)Los Angeles, Cal 90064 (Check the serveillance cameras if you dont believe me)
I will never shop at 711 again and Ive been a loyal patron for more then 30 years.
today was free slurpee day at 711, guess not in philadelphia
Failure to refund erroneous charge
On January 10th I went to above store and attempted to purchase $30 gas using my debit card by pre-paying inside the store. After the attendant swiped my card, which was subsequently charged $30, I went outside and attempted to pump the gas. The gas pump failed to dispense any gasoline at that time. So I went back inside and told the attendant what had happened, at which time she asked for my debit card again so she could re-swipe it. Finding this a little bit suspicious, I declined and instead handed her $20 in cash for the gas. At that time, she gave me a receipt which showed that the $30 charge had been voided. After that I went out, pumped my gas and left the station.
A few weeks later, I checked my online bank statement and to my surprise it showed that the initial $30 had been deducted from my account but not subsequently refunded. After discovering this, I returned to the gas station with my receipt and a copy of my bank statement on two separate occasions. I was assured by the store manager on both occasions that this matter would be handled in a timely manner. As of now I still have not received the refund.
While $30 is not a terribly large sum of money, it is the principle of comsumer trust that is at stake. When a simple transaction is not able to be reversed even three months after the fact, it calls into question both the competence and the integrity of the staff at your Wahiawa establishment. The fact that I provided the store manager with a copy of all the pertinent documents and have yet to hear back from her is even more troubling. This shows a grave lack of concern on the part of the store management and an overall poor attitude toward customer service. If 7-11 is to maintain it's reputation as a leading provider of affordable goods and services to a diverse clientelle, it must fix such discrepancies in a timely manner. Please return the $30 to my bank account as soon as possible.

Promo 2010 presidentiable gulp cups
why other presidentiable candidates has there own gulp cups like Aquino, Teodoro, Villar, Gordon and Estrada? Is that because there are major candidates? And you put in one Gulp Cup the abstain and undecided candidates like Acosta, delos Reyes, madrigal, Perlas and Villanueva...
I tried to ask one of the crew in your convenient store and told me that because the other 5 are minor candidates. I think its not fair. If all filipino people will think that way, I dont think this country will succeed. Sad but its true:(
I'm one of the regular customer of 7-11 but if that's the way they treat the candidates, maybe I won't patronize their store anymore...
yeah, I did ask one of the crew here in Malolos and she answer me the same! and I SECOND THE MOTION! IT IS REALLY UNFAIR!
