Settlement of vehicle
I am currently under debt review. On 2024/06/10 I traded in an absa financed vehicle, on another vehicle that I bought cash. A settlement quote with a 5% discount was provided by absa. The vehicle has been settled by the dealership on 2024/06/14. Up to now we could not get the balance written off as per their process, no payed up letter has been provided and as a result we cannot apply for the eNATIS. The vehicle I traded in is now standing on the dealership floor, and they can do nothing with it.
I have been making regular follow ups on a daily basis since then, and I am sent from pillar to post. Everyone promises to resolve the problem and call me back... which NEVER happens.
It is now 2 weeks, and the vehicle still does not show as settled with a R0 balance!
I have even escalated the matter and spoke to a manager; Lungile with contact number [protected], who promised to resolve and call back... NOTHING!

ABSA home Insurance
Had 3 x bore hole pumps stolen on a small holding in November 2023 reported to ABSA after many phone calls they sent out somebody. still nothing then after many phone calls and emails they sent out Piet there so called expert walked around. We showed him where they cut the covers off but he was more interested in what we were doing to try to rectify and get water to the people living on the small holding as it was our drinking water. we had purchased some second hand pumps as ABSA was not coming to the party.
After this visit nothing from them each email you get a mail back saying somebody will contact you but that never happens. went to the ombudsman but keep getting told that ABSA has asked for more time this is 3 months after the claim was placed how much time is needed. Most pathetic company I have ever dealt with. Looks like they think if they ignore me I will just go away. Not going to happen my claim number is [protected]
Desired outcome: Pay me out for the stolen pumps so we can purchase new ones and intstal to get water to our workers

Rccs made two debit orders from my absa account amounting to r2047. Who is rccs and why are they debiting in my account without my concent?
two debit orders were made.one on the 27th november of an amount R1452 and the second one on the 28th of november of an amount of R595. both debit orders went out without my concern or notification. can i be told what is going on and who is Rccs and what is my contractual obligation with them and why are they debiting without talking to me. thank you.

On 14 November, 2023, at around 10.13am, I went to withdraw money from the ABSA ATM at Knysna. The fee charges for withdrawal were R75. I thought this was too expensive and I declined the fee. Without warning I was charged R78 for declining the fee of R75. I will take this up outside of the ABSA complaint procedures, as I read that ABSA resolves very few complaints made against it.

My mother went to Absa branch in Kanye on Sunday 11th November around 1000hrs to cash but she was told its impossible because she doesn't have a ATM card. She asked the manager to atleast help her transfer money into my account because she urgently need the money at that moment but still they failed without a proper satisfactorily explanation. Their telephone etiquette is very poor and unprofessional. I hope the old lady will take all her cash and bank with a bank that have respect and treat customers with respect. Once a year on your anniversary date, your policy is reviewed and you receive a no claim bonus back - in my case I should have received the bonus at the end of August

Mr Bokang, the manager is extremely rude and did not even attemp to resolve my problem. My problem started 26 September 2023 at the said branch. I have paid my Sars account from [protected]. Afterwards I asked the teller to change 2 R100 notes for 4 R50 notes. I even commented the color changed. I was hospitilized afterwards. Good morning,
A weekly stop order is set up on my business account for R6500 to go into my Absa saving account, yesterday the money left my account and never reached the saving account. My business banker doesn't reply to emails.
When I called her this morning, she just replied, "I got your email, I'm investigating".
It's been over 24h, and her answer is " I am investigating"... Is it a normal answer? What happened to the basics of customer service?
It's the second time in 2 months I have issues with money magically disappearing and the customer service is so poor I am shocked.
Now what? I just wait until her so called "investigation" is over? R6500 is not pocket change for a small business and I should just be ok with "Just waiting"?
This is insane.
Desired outcome: I would like my money back this morning.

I was involved in a car accident on 21 July 2023. My claim got rejected on 14 August 2023. I have since been requesting for the recording when the sale contract was concluded as they made reference to it when rejecting my claim and for the purposes of taking the matter further. However, they have been promising to send and even after several attempts of me following up, I have not received anything (it has been over a month now). The assessor who was responsible for my claim and actually made reference to that recording is now ignoring my WhatsApp texts and emails. As far as I am concerned, it is my right as a customer to obtain that recording! This is actually becoming a strain to my mental health and budgeted, solely caused by poor customer services and lack of professionalism by ABSA.
Desired outcome: Obtain the recording as soon as possible .

I put in a claim on 27/08/2023. Till now have received no correspondence from the insurer. This is pathetic service. The claims consultants name is queen my claim no is 4555663. I have to call in everyday to be updated but I always here the same story that the claim is still being processed. It's been more than 10 working days and they haven't even assessed my car. This is unprofessional service from such a big company. I regret taking out a policy with absa. I will never insure any of my assets with them. Today when I called in they said they cannot locate my car. They were the ones that sent the tow truck and authorized the car to be towed but now they don't know where the car is.
