Aldo store in Dalma Garden Mall - Armenia
I purchased a shoe ten days ago from Aldo store in Dalma Garden mall in Yerevan and there was a policy to return the goods within 14 days in good condition. I returned the shoe in few days and at first stage the shop mentioned that their system is not working and I had to return the next day as the reimbursement could not be made to my bank account. Later as I mentioned that I could not refer to them the next day they contacted their manager to help me in getting the money back and apparently they put marks with pen on the shoes in the storage room at the time of contacting their manager in order not to accept my return. This is really awful and I never had such an experience in any other Aldo store in other countries. Aldo brand should know to whom they grant the representation in order not to loose its reputation worldwide. I’m unhappy not because Of value of the shoe but they way they treated me.
Desired outcome: To brief Aldo head office about the issue to stop such unfair behavior and respect customers

I am shocked at the service offered when returning items!
The item was given to me as a gift, therefore I do not have a slip, and now the store employee said I must ask the person who bought me the gift for the slip, how ridiculous!
The item is brand new still with the tag on!

I visited the aldo stores in Al ghurair mall in Dubai to buy a pair of sunglasses on 22nd Dec 2021 at around 8pm and the store sales guy and girl both were least interested in showing me anything or helping. They had a very weird attitude and were very rude. I asked them to clean the sunglasses before I buy them as they had fingerprints and were very dirty, so the female sales girl was rude ans said she cant do much about it as customers only spoil these sunglasse and she cant keep cleaning them. I asked her if she expects me to buy them in this condition and she just ignored. I had to leave the store and have a very bad impression and experience of Aldo.. feeling sorry for this brand.

This is Debalina. I bought a shoe around 6 months before. It was very expensive and I bought it with other stuff of Aldo like another sport shoe and sun glasses and earrings.
This is the 1st time I am having such worst expensive that after wearing it once... the shoe tore immediately within 4 days, so I complained about it to my nearest store. They said they will change it for me and they will give me a better piece. The next piece they gave, I had the same experience. It tore the moment I wanted to wear it.
Since then, they have been trying to fix the shoe and I did not get an opportunity to wear it. I am absolutely frustrated with the brand and I am gonna write about it to my local officer. This is not the service you give or make your customer experience. This is totally cheating. And taking money from customers without any service or product.
I have still not collectd my shoes, it's been 3 weeks since the last time they took the shoe for repairing.
And today I got a call saying they can repair. I want my money back immediately.
I don't ever wish to shop from ALSO. This is really horrible the service you are providing.
Please let me know what's to be done going forward. I will give the details of the purchase and share the pictures Everytime I went to the outlet to complain about the shoe and nothing happened or no action was taken.

Gift certificates
I was given a gift of multiple Aldo gift certificates years ago totally $200.
Two (2) $50. and Five (5) $20. certificates (I am attaching some below for your review). They clearly do not state any expiration date.
When I went to use them in an Aldo store in Paramus, NJ,, the sales - person said he never saw these type of gift certificates before. These are paper, not like current plastic gift cards. I explained they were old but there was no expiration date...
The sales associate tried to enter them using the numbers that are on them but the system did not allow them to be used.
He suggested I call Aldo customer service, which I did.
This escalated to someone named Oliver, and I received an email saying they would allow $100 to be used as a courtesy, but not the full amount since they were old and expired.. Again as you can see they DONT EXPIRE.
I answered the email, informing Oliver that his answer was not acceopatble and I deserve the full $200 value., but there has been no more correspondence from Aldo.

The back of the $50 certificates just have the ALDO logo. The $20 certificates say Vaud in any Aldo store for merchandise only. Again no expiration dates.

Desired outcome: I want my full $200 on a new gift card to use in an Aldo store.

I went to Sandton city Aldo today at around 6 45 pm to change the size of a shoe I bought a day before on Black Friday. I also needed to refund a bag. I stood in a queue, when I reach the lady at the till, she said their system is down they can't do refunds .But they can change the size but I have to stand in another queue that is served by manager . So I stood in that queue fir about 15 min when my turn came, the manager (Portia) called a customer standing behind me to come to the front and started serving him .. I observed, then she called another one to come ..so I told Patricia that it's my turn, why is she calling people who are behind me . It's not fair . She didn't respond and started dancing smoothly on the music that was on in the store . Then she stared helping another customer who had a problem on the next till . It really made me angry .. so I told her in a firm tone that why are you not helping me .. she said she will . She took slip from me and then told me that shoe is not on this slip so she can't help me .. I should go to mall of Africa where I bought the shoe from a day before . I told her that I stood in the queue for 12 an hour to be served, and I only needed a size change . But she was adamant that it can't be done .she however helped me with the refund of the bag .. though other lady told me otherwise .
I told Portia, the manager at the store that I am going to write a review against her on Aldo website . She told me that she is doing me a favour by returning the stuff . She further told me that she wasn't supposed to do any exchange or refund on Black Friday weekend .
I was highly disappointed in their service at Aldo store at Sandton . After returning the bag, I had to ask her for my till slip .. she was going to keep it . On my demand, she made a copy and gave me that .
If I am asked to rate this quality of service, I will definitely rate it a zero . I wasted almost 1 whole hour to return 2 things .

We are your regular customer in ALDO and we suppose to take our 279 AED in my club apparel points. The named staff MOHAMMAD suddenly told us not to go in and outside of the shop as they are counting and baladiya is outside. Service complaint with store and customer service
Purchased a pair of boots at a Aldo store inside a PA mall. The store manager was rude and completely unprofessional. He stated the shoes had been worn and would not accept them back. I contacted Aldo customer service to file a complaint, not sure if that was actually done, but they did take back the shoes. I was expected to receive a refund once they received the shoes and processed it. This was 2/1/21 when the refund was supposed to have been processed, they received the shoes on 12/24/20. I was informed by 2 other representatives it would take about 1 week from the date of process, with every week passing I called back. By the 3rd representative I spoke with, she stated I was misinformed and it would take up to 4 weeks. It is now 3/2/21 and still nothing. I contacted Aldo customer service again, the representative put me on hold for 15 minutes all to tell me she can see it was requested on 2/1/21, but can tell if the refund was actually processed and now I should wait 1 more week. This is unacceptable and I should have never had to go through this from the beginning. The shoes were not worn and perfectly fine.

Thursday 21 January I have visited a branch in Sharq Mall Kuwait and I was going to buy glasses that time that man was very rude I asked one thing and he replied very loudly and I felt shopping because I felt insult and awkward that time and then when my wife says I will complaint, he laughed and he said ok to such illiterate idiot fellow he was an Arabic man I don't know the name but then I asked one of the staff there that who is the manager then she told me that he is the one is branch manager if that manager is like that then what to expect from staff and how to run a business if the owner of the shop is rude not respecting customers

I am contacting you as I had an unhappy experience with a pair of shoes I've bough from your store. When wearing them for the first time in the office I could see a scratch on the material in front.
Although they were just bought, I've got the answer that no exchange is allowed in this case. Anyway I was offered the option to send them to repair (although new).
I 've accepted this and after more than 1 week I've been called to take my shoes because they couldn't be fixed. I was shocked and very disappointed to see that damage was worse (probably in the attempt to fix them). I've asked if there is no other option in this case as they couldn't be fixed and I will not be able to wear them in this condition. The shop assistant answer was that it is up to me if I want to wear them or not but she cannot do anything else.
Completely disappointed by this unfair situation, I've just find a telephone number of internet, hoping to be able to talk with another manager. Phone number was from Anextartisias shop, where the person was exactly opposite, very kind and helpful and advised me to bring the shoes there. They assured me that they will try to offer help for this incident and that I do have the option to get an exchange or refund.
In the same time I've contacted customer support which again assured that I am right and I will get help, I will be called by a supervisor in maximum 72 hours (2 times they promised this), but again nothing happened.
After another week, the same person from Era called me to tell me that my shoes are again there and I should come to take them. She was upset because I didn't understand what she told me one time that nothing can be done and I should just accept the situation and take my shoes. I believe this is unacceptable for a brand like Aldo, which I trust and that's why only this summer I've bought from you 3 pairs of shoes. I'm talking about the quality of product, quality of material and customer support.
I was in contact with your representatives - ' [protected]@aldogroup.com' more than 2 weeks and finally got the answer that I should contact you at this email (why not from the first time?). I've forwarded you latest emails from them with claim number if you want to check more details. Please ask somebody to contact me, as I was promised 2 weeks before, in order to solve this issue.

I am a loyal customer to aldo, I was there yesterday (oct 28, 2019) to buy couple shoes.
I was talking to one of the salesman about the size and trying some bag. And suddenly this lady came from the back/store room. She looked at me like i'm a ghost. She was my enemy 6years ago. Afterwards she made a story on instagram about me, saying i'm a trash and she is a star. She also said I was looking for her when I visit aldo store. Which I wasn't know she work there.

I ordered a watch on 10/09/19, I received an email that stated it would be delivered by 10/17/19. When I tracked my order. It states the order was never shipped. I then called customer service and was put on hold for 15 minutes. This is so frustrating . I have always done business with Aldo, and I never had an issue in the pass.
