auto insurance cancellation without proper notice
My Agent is : [protected]@aaamichigan.com
Policy Number: ATU0669055554
Actual End Date : Jul/18/2018
Overview: When it passed jul18, and no money got transacted from my account, I wrote her about insurence, she sent me a cop of my auto insurence which showed the validity till 01/18/2018.. Still I wrote her on Aug 7 because I has gut feeling that something is not good- She dint respond..
Now, because of all these, AAA cancelled my policy and now she is not helping me.
Issues:
1. None of the paper notices were received by me as claimed by Tracy.
2. She never called me or sent me an email on this renewal
3. She dint put the card I used for initial payment in her system so that automatic renewal happens.
4. When I sent email on Jul 25 & Aug 7, she dint even inform me that something is wrong and the policy will lapse
5. Now when I ask for her help she is asking me to call customer care rather helping me, she says that she is busy and cant help
6. When she has been assigned as my agent for AAA insurance, i expect the person to set all necessary items which makes the insurance transactions easy
After seeing all these ignorance form Agent and AAA, I am moving out to a different service provider who values and care for their customer and responds when in need, rather making calls and sending email when they are in need of incentives.. I have lost trust in AAA and its agent..
changing tire
Club Code: [removed]
On 8/7/2017 I got flat tire so I requested service at my apartment. A guy came with his truck. My car was parked at my apartment's gated parking. The truck he was driving was too tall so it was not able to go through the gate so he parked outside ot the gate. My car was parked apprximately 30 feet from his truck across the gate. My tire was completely flat. He told me to move my car to near his truck. I didn't want to drive it becuase the tire being completely flat, it will damage the tire and the wheel if I move my car. He said he was only allowed to work near his truck and it has censor or something and he is being monitored and that's the company rule. He made me move my car at the end to near his truck and he changed it to spare tire. If what he said is true and that's the company rule. I'd like you guys to be more flexible. I did't have to move my car and he could just work where my car was parked.
roadside services
On Fri, Aug. 11, 2017 at approximately 6:00 pm. A "AAA Rollback Tow Truck, was traveling east bound on St. Chas. Rock Rd. Approximately in the 9000 block. in St. John Mo. 63114. He was driving in a very unsafe manner. Frist noticed him in my rear view mirror. All I could see is the Grill of the truck.
He changed lanes quickly, passing me on the right. Where he tailgated a car in the right lane. He followed that car closely until he was able the swerve into the left lane, leaving very little room.
He was driving to fast to be able to get a number from the truck other than the AAA Roadside Services sign on the back of the truck. I would have notified the Police had I been able to I.D. the truck.
auto insurance quote
Hello,
My name is Hannah. I am currently a loyal AAA member for the past couple of years. I recently called AAA to get an auto quote in California. When I mentioned to the customer service associate that my son, who is 18 and has only been licensed for a year would be on the policy, he mentioned that AAA would not be able to insure because my son has to be licensed for 3 years. When I asked, the reason for the 3 year requirement, he said, "I don't know, that's what THEY require". When I questioned him as to who "THEY" were, he purposely hung up on me and placed me back in the que. I have never received this lack of professionalism from any company before, and I am pretty disappointed with how I was treated, especially by someone employed by your company.
car service
It's been almost a month! I locked my keys in my car and a AAA service man came to unlock my car, it took him almost 5 hours to 1 break my car door and 2 tell me he couldn't help me unlock the door. I had to call a private locksmith to come and unlock my door which took him 15 minutes. I had submitted a reimbursement form which they sent a partial payment for stating they were only going to pay part of it because that's all they're responsible for. They won't pay for the full amount of MY time wasted and nobody has still gotten in contact with me about fixing my door. AAA is a total scam!
battery caught fire
My 97 audi a6 quattro had to be towed to Springdale Auto 467 Circle Freeway 45246 on Aug 4, 2017 after battery caught on fire while I was driving. This battery was a AAA battery placed in my car on March 22, 2017. The
back seat is destroyed and my car may not be destroyed. Please call Springdale Auto at [protected] to find out extent of damage caused by fire. I feel it's this was a result of bars and wires not being placed properly after installing new battery. I've never had problems with a battery since I purchased car in 2012 until now. Please call me at [protected]. Brenda J Walker-Miles
travel agent - deborah black in cincinnati
American Airlines Flight AA4958 was 1st cancelled on Aug 2nd. Our agent Deborah Black, DID NOT contact me nor the ticket holder Ann Connolly to try to re-route her or offer a solution. Per American Airlines a mass announcement was sent out and Deborah Black must have been aware of the issue. Ann's ticket was rebooked(via American Airlines, NOT Deborah Black) for Aug 3rd with NO seat assigned.
Ann is an 86 year old woman who is travelling to Shannon Airport in Ireland.
Once again her flight was CANCELLED again on Aug 3rd. With no word from AAA Travel Agent Deborah Black. Her LACK of follow up is horrific. If she was DOING HER JOB, her 1st phone call should have been to Ann or me with a solution (re-route or earlier/later flight etc). My sister who took Mom to the airport tried several times to get a hold of Deborah or any other agent to provide a solution. There should be an emergency number to assist the traveler!
Well today is Aug 4th and she is scheduled yet again on AA4958(via American Airlines and not AAA) Still NO word from Deborah either out of concern or helpfulness! I feel my mother should be compensated for the lack of customer service, her stress level, and torment. Her flight from Philadelphia to Shannon(AA776) is scheduled to depart at 9:20PM. If nothing else I feel she should be updated to business/first class on the WAY TO Shannon and also on the WAY BACK from Shannon to Philadelphia All my 86 year old mother wants to do is go to Ireland to visit her family one more time!
Needless to say the lack of Customer Service and Follow up is HORRIFIC!
24 hour roadside assistance
My car keys accidentally fell into a grated sewer system leaving me stranded due to the alarm mechanism on my vehicle. After several failed attempts of calling 311, 911 and the Fire Department at 11:39 pm on 8/2/17 I decided to call my roadside assistance company AAA. I spoke with a representative giving all necessary detailed information and was told that a locksmith will be to me by 60 minutes and what would be the best way to reach me, I stated by phone. After an hour passed without any contact from AAA I called and was put on hold for awhile for the representative to come on the phone to tell me that I had called back to cancel because I found my keys. A blatant lie, and of course this triggered a rash of emotions mainly anger and demanded to speak with a supervisor. He in return stated that the dispatcher should have told me that a locksmith would not be reachable after 12a. Unbelieveable being as noted in their system my call came in at 11:39 pm. Again why advertise a 24hour roadside assistance program which is convenient only for the company not the customer.
damage to windshield
Date of incident 8/2/2017
Call # 1957
Service person Moroto was very nice and polite and he was successful in unlocking the car, however when we got back in the vehicle we noticed the wind shield had been cracked. It seemed, from feeling the spot both inside and outside, to have been damaged from the inside. There was no existing damage to the windshield prior to AAA arriving, and we were locked out of the car, so the only way it could've happened was when he used his "tool" to try and jam and catch the handle. It is very noticeable, we immediately mentioned it to the service technician who was still there, but he said "No way" he could've done that. My husband and the technician were both present at the time of service and neither one of them realized the damage had taken place until we all visually saw it right after he was done. The technician may have not even realized he damaged it. It was an accident, but we would like or windshield repaired/replaced.
unethical behavior and the worst customer service
CLAIM Claim [protected]
My apartment has been wet from a renovation flood since July 19th 2017 and Angela and Kent have done nothing but watch each others backs and have avoided providing my family with excellent customer service. We have been treated like we don't matter and I have an email from Kent were he apologizes for my lack of intelligence. Angela lied about all these false promises she made and when I asked to be assigned to a new claims specialist Kent tells me my family has to WAIT on him.

whiteoak, pa office
The people in this office are so rude. They only have one station open at a time and make people wait forever. It it very hard to sit and watch when only one of the two people are not helping speed things along. Because most transactions take a fair amount of time is all the more reason not to have to depend on a single person. Not only that they are very rude. I was there over an hour and a half and ended up walking out. I wasn't the only one who walked out. The lady next to me said "are they always so rude" and the lady in front of me turned around and said "yes".
I am retired and I worked in customer service in some capacity all my life and I would never have lasted a week if I had treated people this way. People just want to know they haven't been forgotten and that there is some effort being made to help them. I have said enough. I should go back there today but frankly I can't face it. It ruined my day yesterday. I will try again tomorrow.
service at vernola's towing norwalk ca
I have been serviced by this contract station 704 several times. Vernolas towing 13514 Norwalk blvd, Norwalk CA. I have been very dissapointed in their lack of customer service at dispatch very rude manager Lisa and her family working there. They steal from impounded cars. Only good experience I had is when battery tech Martin came to rescue me and my family from the heat. Very professional smile to the end. Miserable lady at the windows. Their drivers look tired . do something about this crook vernolas. Yelp has more reviews on their bad service.
disrespectful, arrogant and racist wrecker in brundswick, ga
I called AAA on 7/19/17 for a tow because my car broke down while attending a conference. AAA sent Adams Wrecker Service out of Brunswick. The owner and driver was IK Adams. IK ADAMS arrived over 1.5 hours late and was sweating, like he was having a heart attack. When IK ADAMS asked me where the car was located, I mentioned the location. He proceeded to tell me that the car was supposed to be in a different location. After 5 minutes of haggling with IK ADAMS, he finally took e to the car.
Once the car was loaded on his wrecker, his wrecker has a red bed and white front, I took a picture of my vehicle. At that point IK ADAMS shouted, 'Do we have a problem?' I answered, 'what do you mean?'. After several tense moments of starring, I told IK ADAMS that I took a picture of my car because I was out of town and wanted to endure that I documented that AAA had towed the car.
I was so pissed-off, I told IK ADAMS to drop me off at my hotel because I wanted to prevent a physical altercation because I felt that I needed to defend myself against this racist wrecker. Brunswick is a small, country hick town that appears to be stuck in 'Jim Crow' era. AAA should fire this wrecker ASAP.
AAA needs to fire this racist, snagged tooth wrecker. The owner, IK Adams is a snagged tooth racist who thinks he can speak to people like he is on the Jim Crow south. AAA should fire him ASAP.
tow truck driver
Waited four hours for a tow truck only to have one arrive and the driver to kick me out because he didn't like that I was asking him questions, he cursed at me called my sister a stripper and kept telling us how much he make. After dropping us off where he picked us up he accused us of breaking his lights (which never happened) and tried to get our insurance canceled he had an attitude from the beginning i don't know if he was having a bad day but he offended me and only prolonged my existing issue
service not provided
On 7-20-17, our daughter was driving a car we own up a hill in our neighborhood when the car then rolled backwards down the slope and stopped against a tree due to a mechanical problem. My daughter called AAA and was called by the rep of a towing company about 40 miles away to text him a photo of the car. (First time in over 10 years of AAA membership we had to do this.) She then heard from an AAA rep who said AAA towing insurance wouldn't cover this because it occurred on a neighborhood road. My wife then spoke to an AAA rep and was told towing wouldn't be covered by AAA because the car was stuck in the tree. You can see by the photos attached that the car was against but wasn't stuck in the tree. She was also told by the AAA rep ("Pamela") that the company wouldn't cover towing due to the amount of damage. It's at least $2, 000 in damage, but the car would be driveable if nor for the mechanical problem. My wife also spoke with Sheynda in AAA Member Relations, but that didn't accomplish much more than being on hold for a long time. I expect to pay to have the car towed on 7-21-17 without any assistance from AAA. I'm reporting this to hopefully enlighten anyone considering joining AAA. I also would like to see a list of what AAA towing insurance does and doesn't cover.
air travel booking
I have been a member of AAA for 45 years. Yesterday for convenience purposes, I stopped by the AAA office in Southaven MS to book a flight for me.
I was and am still shocked that they wanted $35.00 for this simple need. I went home and booked my flight in 5 minutes.
I feel this charge is ridiculous for such a simple need for a member of 45 years. This will most likely be the deciding factor to end my membership.
roadside assistance tow truck driver towed fw drive from the rear
On June 30 Heavy Duty Towing and Recovery was called out by AAA to tow Classic 1976 GMC motorhome. 3 1/2 hrs later he called and said that he was 15-20 min out and to take an uber and he would tow the RV within the hour. We were told by AAA that a flatbed was coming out. When the RV arrived 11 hours later, the tow was pulling the front wheel drive from the rear. He refused to move it into the driveway. Police came out and he was allowed to dump it in the street (no parking side). He told the police that he had to stop on the road, because the brakes were on fire. It took him 11 hours to tow it 48 miles. He told the police that the RV wouldn't start, then recanted and said that the RV was running the flashers.
We were able to change out the battery and drove it 50' into a driveway, where it sat until yesterday when it was towed to a transmission place. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you don't tow a 5 ton GMC motorhome front wheel drive (in park) from the rear. Bumper is bent, plumbing sheared off, front tires scorched and front wheel brakes? Estimate to fix the transmission alone is $2800. Picture of RV on the flatbed going to transmission shop. Second picture taken a day before towed.
AAA is a regional company. My AAA is in Texas. My GMC broke down in Illinois. Texas has a great AAA club and any momentum that I have had is a result of Randall Peoples and Michelle Murillo, Texas AAA Member services. They have followed up with their management and have communicated back to me. Don't tar all of AAA with the same brush, because not all AAA clubs are like this.
I just want to get home. I have been stranded today marks a month. Heavy Duty Towing towed my GMC motorhome from the rear. He damaged my GMC. AAA is the conduit to getting it fixed. I pray that they do so and thank you all for your support.
This is my mom's vehicle. She is beyond upset. I have seen her cry more in the past month than I have in years. I'm a AAA member as well and I'm going to cancel my plan as soon as this whole ordeal is over... AAA, fix this!
We were just getting ready to switch to AAA for our coverage, but now after seeing how one of our fellow GMC'ers are being treated I'm waiting & watching!
I worked at AAA Southern California/TX/Arizona/New Mexico's call center. We quickly learned that our service to RV's and heavy trucks was awful. We dreaded getting one of those calls because we knew we would have to lie to you, or worse, be on the receiving end of your second call after you've found out the last person lied to you about service to expect.
I had AAA when I lived in Encinitas. GREAT AAA club. Never towed a motorhome, but have towed my 1951 Isetta to get the tire fixed. You would have loved seeing it on the flatbed- so cute. Texas AAA is one of the best clubs. I really do think they care. Illinois ----not so much.
Am watching to see how this is resolved
Thank you for sharing this. I will keep searching for different tow insurance and I hope you can get your GMC repaired.
customer service for homeowners insurance
On June 27th, 2017 I called AAA and they referred me to Danny Agustin because i was told he would be able to help me with my Home Owners Insurance. He was very quick and to me seemed to think he knew it all. I received an email with some information and things I needed to sign off for, but I noticed my last name with was spelled wrong. I emailed Danny Agustin back on July 1st, 3rd, and 4th he has not replied back to me as of July 17th, 2017. I also emailed his supervisor at Kim.[protected]@aaa-calif.com and never received an email or answer back from this person. However I did receive an email back from Danny regarding my policy was cancelled because I did not sign the documents he emailed me (mind you these are the same documents with my last name spelled incorrectly). Just a few days ago I received a policy. I am confused and aggravated that this company will not email me back with the correct documents and customer service is very unhelpful. So to this day I do not know if I have Home Owners Insurance but I do know AAA took my money.
roadside assistance
July 12, 2017
On July 10th 2017, my car failed to start. I had already determined it was a problem with the starter. I called Roadside Assistance and told the representative that I needed a tow truck to tow my car to my mechanic. After about 20 minutes, a regular AAA truck, without towing capabilities, came to my home. I told the AAA employee there was a problem with the starter and that I did not need him because he did not have towing capabilities.
The AAA employee stated that before he could dispatch a tow truck he needed to check a few things first. He proceeded to try to start my car about three times. I asked him to stop and to just call the tow truck. When he realized that it would not turn over he then proceeded to check the battery. All of this was done against my wishes. At that moment, I knew my battery was fine. The problem was my starter. All I wanted was for him to finish doing what he said he had to do, so he would finally call the tow truck.
I had no idea why he had to do this before calling me a tow truck. It seemed to me that he was trying to find something wrong so he could charge me for it and install it. After learning that my battery was good and that there was nothing else he could do, he said he would call a tow truck.
After waiting another hour, a tow truck finally arrived. After speaking to the AAA employee, I explained what was going on and why I needed him. This employee also asked for my keys and insisted on checking my car out as a mechanic would. I agreed only because I thought he needed my keys to move the car out and on to the truck. He then tried starting my car about four times until I told him to stop. I'm not a mechanic, but I did already know the starter was bad and with all the screeching coming from the car, I was afraid he would break it further.
By the end of his attempts to start my car, it seemed the battery was now dead. He made a comment that he had one on the truck. I said it doesn't matter if the starter is broken. He then agreed to tow it to my mechanic.
After speaking with my mechanic, he stated he would have a new starter installed by the end of the day. A few hours later, my mechanic calls me and says that there's a problem. He said he installed the new starter but it still would not start and the only other thing it could be was that the spark plugs had carbon dust on them from someone attempting to start the car too many times when the starter broke. This was preventing the car from starting properly with the new starter.
After the starter initially broke, I did not attempt to start the car again. Due to the clicking noise and the fact that all the lights worked, I knew it was probably the starter and nothing else. Both of the AAA employees insisted on trying to start the car with the intention of finding the problem. I ended up telling them both to stop trying to start my car and diagnosing it. I explained that I already knew what was wrong, I had a mechanic and that I just needed it towed there.
My mechanic explained to me that due to the excessive attempts to start the car, the carbon dust would need to be cleaned off the spark plugs and the car's computer settings would need to be reset. Also, before they could install the starter the car's battery needed to be put on a charger. My mechanic also states that my battery was good. He said it died from excessive attempts to start the car.
I am not satisfied with my experience with AAA. When I call and request a tow truck I should have a tow truck dispatched immediately. It makes your company seem like it doesn't care about its customers by having a truck come out to sell me products instead of providing the service I pay for and require is not acceptable.
If I do not receive a full reimbursement, I am going to cancel my membership of eight years and convince my other family members and friends to do the same. AAA is supposed to help customers during auto emergencies, not to further break the customers vehicle or try to force sell products in lieu of dispatching tow assistance.
driver damaged my grass and walkway of my house
I arrived home and it looked like someone had an accident I front of my house. I reviewed my cameras and have video of a AAA driver driving up the curb rolling back and forth to tow a car. From what I can see in the video all he had to do was move the car in the correct position vs damaging my grass and cement. It was as if he cared less. I would like my grass to be repaired and cement cleaned, thank you.
