Online banking
It's the time of pandemic and the consumers safest way to pay the bills / send money is thru online banking. Its a way to help our government and front-liners by staying at home and do transactions online. But lately we are having issues with online banking.
In my case our account got deducted despite unsuccessful transaction in online banking. It's been 3 dyas now and the money is still missing. Only to find out that a lot of consumers are having the same issue. We tried reaching their hotlines but they will only make us wait for hours and no CSR will attend to you in the end. A total waste of time. Their email option is deactivated. No option to message them in FB, website's Contact Us page is under maintenance. We don't know how else to reach them.
Online fraud
I am writing to file a complaint on BDO Unibank. I received a SMS message of money transfer, then I view my online banking account but I could not open it since the OTP's are not working for several instances. Then I received a email transfer successful of the transfer, that is the time I finally opened my account. I called immediately the BDO Hotline to cancel it since the account transfer is not even register, why I can transfer to a not pre-register account and a different bank so immediate. The customer service said they will put on-hold my online banking and conduct investigations immediately and feedback after few days. I also emailed BDO customer care that day.
After days, I followed up this concern at email but the bank advise it is still on process.
After few days follow up again then advise me that I should go to bank branch to get the letter sent a days ago, which that the email advise my that day is it still on process. And telling me that they can't retrieve it due to INSTAPAY transfer.
I went to the bank branch and received the letter that saying that the bank have no fault on the said issue.
I tried to have a re-consideration on this matter on the bank branch and also to BDO customer service email but I have not received a email update after.
A month after, I received email advisory on using INSTAPAY, why they still want customers to patronize this INSTAPAY transfers when scammers use it.
I don't know why they can hacked a account even they don't have the OTP's.
Unauthorized withdrawal
On july 7th, bdo withdraw from my account $1398 usd.
I was surprised why there was a deduction on my account which I did not know.

Credit card delivery
Change my recent billing address due to pandemic, my card was returned to SCS. BDO still no update yet after creation of report for re-delivery of my credit card. How can we address this concern.
On line banking connection
Starting yesterday July 01, 2020; I have observed the difficulty of connecting to your on line banking connection.
If you click the on line log in nothing will appear.
There were instances; that I was able to connect and a OTP but when I started with my transactions it stops.
You have a lot of websites listed where we can use; but all are not connecting or stops connections or hang the connections.
Auto loan amortization during quarantine period
This has reference to a text message from your bank informing me about my Auto Loan with PN [protected], that I have to pay accrued interest on the monthly amortizations (March and April 2020) that fell due during the quarantine period.
I strongly protest the charging of accrued interest for those 2 monthly amortizations because the money for that was actually in the bank already, and as indicated in the loan documents, the manner of payment was through auto debit. I took pains to deposit P40, 000 on March 27, 2020, during the quarantine period, to meet the amortization due on March, 30. I had someone transfer funds on April 21, 2020, during the Enhanced Quarantine Period, to be able to meet the amortization due on April 30. Clearly, the intention was there to pay the amortization as it falls due, but BDO did not deduct the amount due from my account. I became aware of it only when I had my passbook updated last May 20, and I was upset when I received a text message today from BDO informing that I have to pay accrued interests on the affected months.
In these times when every centavo counts, I do hope and pray that BDO will reconsider its action, and deduct from my account the amount of P57, 840 only, which is equivalent to 2 monthly amortizations, for March and April 2020, without accrued interests.

bank threatening customer to close account because of zero balance
i got a text from bdo bank today, saying they going to close account if balance is zero, i am not working because of this virus, and does the bank realize there is a shutdown for 2 weeks and i bought food so i wont go hungry, and i message the bank that the balance be there next week, and this fall on deaf ears, blame the government not the customer for zero balance in my account
otp number change
Tried calling to change number for OTP. Right of the bat Agent told me that I should call them back April 30. Why do we have to wait? This is online transaction, is BDO customer care so primitive that your agents don't have capabilities to verify and change a simple mobile number over the phone? He didn't even bother to ask for my details. Why do they have to make excuses that ecq is in place? They're taking in calls for God sakes and he said he's not working from home, might as well process these little tasks than to have it pile up on the 30th. Ridiculous customer handling.
Call me back or I'll give you my details through, verify the details and change it. I need to track my transactions online to know who paid and for how much. I won't be able to take in transactions otherwise.
I have a loan with BDO, If I'm not able to pay on time due to loss of revenue because your incompetent agents can't update numbers I'll let your collection department contact your incompetent agents.

Account blocked by bdo
It's about account-number [protected] from my friend in the Philippines, office Calbayog City.
At the end of March her account suddenly without any warning was blocked by BDO because of the balance was at 0, 00. Does BDO not realize that the situation is difficult now? Other friends of my should send my friend money, but it's simply impossible because of lock down in many cities. She had to visit the BDO-office in Calbayog (even in fact against the rules of the brgy), but the answer was: "Yes, it's blocked. YOUR mistake. Come back after 6 months for new account."
So... while BDO protects their workers and suspends for instance pay outs, you block the account of customers because they don't get payments because of the crisis?!? Come on!
Possible solution: I see that the account this exists. I can see it with internet banking, but I can't send money to it. So... unblock that account and please, stop doing these things until the Corona crisis is over.
Unauthorized online money transfer

Good afternoon.
I would like to raise my complaint, I have not access my online banking for the transfer of money to a different account that was not even enrollment account. I don't register this Union Bank account to my online account. How can I transferred when OTP passwords I received are not working that I haven't access my account that time to check the transaction. Is this how vulnerable your online banking is?
I have called them immediately after I received the email. I demand dispute on the transaction.

This month BDO debited me twice for my Home Loan. And requesting schedule of amortization took ages! BDO is not very organized, I wondered why? And my MRI payment last year which they have debited in my account and my previous payment for fire insurance did not reflect in my records. When you call the call center and I am not in Philippines, you will wait for more than 20 minutes and still would answer your call. And in this country there is no free call for call center in BDO, so I am charging a big amount for this! And the agent, they wouldn't care at all if you told them that you've waited for 30 minutes.
I DON'T EXPECT THIS KIND OF SERVICE FROM BDO!

Non Received BDO credit card
I still have not received my replacement card since I reported it lost since Jan 24 2020. I had talked to 2 or 3 Supervisors and multiple customer service rep but still cannot resolve the issue for a simple card replacement. Seriously for more than a month now?WHAT A SHAME! I still dont understand why they cannot deliver it for more than a month now but I am receiving my statement from them and all my other utility bills. I got sms notification that it will be delivered in just 3-5 business days but it is not happening since I requested it. Replacement card fee has already been billed since last the statement. BDO Customer service sucks! they are all incompetent and no accountability. They said they will call back and follow up the status of my card but they've done nothing. They cannot even compensate the stress and the time I spent over the phone everytime I call them without any result. They will just tell me an overused and never ending apology. Thats it. Words without result is absolutely worthless! One thing for sure, afterall these nightmare with BDO credit card I will close my account once I am finished with my installment plan. I will make sure to tell my friends and family not to do business with Bdo credit card. SOCIAL MEDIA is too mainstream so pull yourself together and act on it. Otherwise if this kind of experience will never change, your business will be at risk.

deposit/payment
I have been a BDO depositor/account holder of BDO SM Hypermart, Adriatico branch for more than 20 years.
On December 19, 2019 i made 5 deposits/payments of P1550.00 each. Yesterday January 21, i noticed that i lost one of the deposit alias. So i went to the same branch and Tried to get a copy or statement of the missing deposit slip but was refused by somebody more senior than the roller.. The teller confirmed the payments but said they could not provide me a zero copy or statement.
May i know if this is standard BDO bank procedure? I thought BDO Finds ways.. But cannot provide a copy of my payment?
Please enlighten me because i am submitting a complaint with the central bank and other agencies concerned with banking, senate etc.
After having been a loyal customer of BDO for more than 20 years i cannot be provided with a copy of my payment?

Your CSR is so rude. She wasn't helpful at all and seems irritated when I couldn't give my birthdate right away. I understand her line of work but she's not the only person who's having a bad time or problem. She has zero tolerance and no patient at all. Her tone of voice is very aggressive and doesn't seem to help me at all. The issue wasn't resolved, she just said to try it again later.
I hope I won't encounter such horrible CSR in the future.

A 180 US Dollar transaction from Masterclass was charged to me last Dec. 23 without my knowledge.It was used online... It was still processed eventhough I received a warning through text message... I am not my responsibilty to pay for the said transaction. Also, it has a different ending numbers from the text message I .. Please make an investigation...

I've been following up several times for my bdo online banking enrollment request to be activate immediately, you guys are being irresponsible you gave assurance and time to your client but nothing happens you already reach the time and days you compromised you don't know the meaning of customer service.. i'm calling from abroad hope you guys understand that, you really have the poorest customer service and some of the supervisors doesn't want to take over a call when an agent doesn't know what to do please train your agent well not just somebody!

Hello BDO, is there any way I can get my credit card because your courier doesnt seem doing their job! First message i recived from bdo is last oct 30 saying that my card was dispatched and ready for delivery. Lbc said they tried it twice but address could not be found! I called for re delivery and i recived a confirmation the it will be delievered nov 27. But iv been waiting all day and no LBC personel tried to deliver my card but they reported it as house closed which is so imposbile. I lived in a very accessible place where my address could easily found and theres a lot of people outside because there is a sari sari store in front of us. Iv been in the house all day. Please help me if theres any way I could get my card and if its possible for me to pick up the card instead of delvery.

My credit card expired last May.Until now December and still not delivered. I called their call center several times and until now, nothing.they kept on saying they can't find my place but other delivery came without any problem. Please BDO investigate your courier service.
