I haven't received my payment and it's been over 2 weeks since they received the books
Please issue the payment asap this is horrible customer service how are you going l have me send the books and then don't pay me for them?!?!?!?!?! And there isn't any phone number to get a Hold of anyone in your company what am I suppose to do this just isn't right I sent out the books like instructed and my PayPal account is all set set up to receive the payment and s5ull nothing it's been over 2 weeks since the books have reached you guys and still nothing it states that it will take only 4 days for you to process if being issued payments though paypal!

order 1013285 i was quoted a price on selling them 6 books. they gave me 5 days to ship the books from the time i recieved the quote. on the 3rd day i recieved an email you have 2 days to shiup your books. on the 5th day i went to print the shipping label and the had cancelled the order. how unethical is that. from readoing all the other people they have screwed why are these thieves able to operate still. ive sent numerous messages all unanswered. there is no phone number to call them anywhere. only a dirty company makes it so you cant contact them.

not receiving my book not getting a product refund
I bought two textbooks here and then sent them separately - One was left at my door the other went to my USPS office as it needed a signature. I work over an hour away from the office where it was sent and had no way to pick it up. When I finally got a day to go there they had sent it back to the sender. BooksRun never contacted me that this book came back nor did they try to resend it. I have been trying to get in contact with someone from there to resend it or refund my money. The book was just under $200.00! I cannot believe there is no number to call and I have to send Facebook messages, emails, and messages through their site with no answer. I just want a refund or my book as I need it for school! If this does not get resolved I will never shop here again!

Total scam! We sent them our book from my daughter's summer college Psychology class which she used for the class and purchased through a legitimate seller. After receiving a quote from BooksRun we sent it off as they requested. Today I received their reply that it was counterfeit and won't pay us anything (0$)! AND we have to pay $8.9to get it back!! I sold a my math lab student access kit for a online course it had a coardbord perforated tare line around it it was intact never opened when they received it they emailed me it was used. I emailed back twice that I have pictures and that I want a reinspection. I was never contacted back I called [protected] I was informed that they would send my 4 oz my math lab back I have never seen it. They have had it sence june25 my order # is 904773

I sent books to be bought back using booksrun packing slip and instructions
On May 16th I set up an account with booksrun to have sell back some college books.
I packaged the books and enclosed the packing slip, used their shipping label provided, dropped off at my local post office for delivery, 5.18.18.
Hudson MA postal service. I tracked the delivery and notice and stayed at out for delivery. We went back to the local post office and were told that the package was refused for delivery and is now in the"dead zone". This is unacceptable as I used your instructions and your shipping label.
Please tell me how I go about resolving this issue and receiving the payment of $79.66 for the books we sent to Booksrun.

poor service and communication
I sent out 3 books on June 26, 2018. I had until July 1st to send them off. I dropped them off at my local FedEx drop off spot and I'm tracking my package and it's been saying exception with an ( red exclamation mark). I heard after the books that get delivered later than the business days aren't accepted. If so send me my books back, them books weren't cheap and I barely used them. This is a scam and I am highly disappointed in your service. There's no contact number to call whatsoever and I even emailed you about my complaint and I have yet to get a response.

lack of customer service
I purchased a book recently and have been trying to get in touch with them via email as well as contacting them through their phone. Not once did I get an answer. The book I purchased came back with no information on how to return, nor are they answering my emails. When purchasing they responded and shipped everythig quickly, wish they kept the same service when returning.

unethical behavior
I am writing in regards to the poor service and unethical behavior provided by BooksRun. The website is a total scam that feeds off of naive college students trying to sell their books. I sent them a $100 university book "Articulation and Phonology in Speech Sound Disorders: A Clinical Focus (5th Edition)". They quoted me $81.75. I just got an email today saying they adjusted my quote to $0 because the book is "counterfeit" (in their words) and I will have to pay $9 just to get my book back. I bought my book off of a reputable seller on Amazon and even compared my book to others in my class. The book was in brand new condition with no markings, tears, etc. There is no way that I am putting in my credit card information and paying for a return.
I want my book returned to me at no cost and will gladly get the police or court involved in this matter if the book is not returned to me.
After reading the negative reviews on this website, I am sure the company scams people out of their money.

I shipped two packages with order # shown above in subject line with a total of three textbooks for sell back to Booksrun:
Package #1 (USPS tracking #: 9449036205262353254701)
1. Organic Chemistry (Janic Smith, 6th ed)
2. Study guide for the #1 textbook
The quote for these two books was $102.29. The package was delivered on April 26th.
Package #2 (USPS tracking #: 9449036205262355566567)
3. Organic Chemistry (Marc Loudon et al, 6th Ed)
The quote was $39.73.
The total payment should be $102.29 + 39.73 = $142.02
However, I received emails from Booksrun saying that the two books in the 1st package are missing. The total adjusted payment from the email was only $39.73. This must be a handling error. Please check with your staff and have the error corrected. I should receive a payment of $142.02 for the three books I shipped you. I personally packed them and dropped off at USPS office, and tracked that the delivery was successful.

DONT USE IF YOU ACTUALLY WANT YOUR MONEYS WORTH. They took my books, that were EXECTLY as described, claimed me down saying my books were in worse condition which would then be taken for 0.00. Then would not return them without me paying them money to get my items back OR pay me for them!

I am very disappointed that many American companies are like this. Including this one.
I sent them a very expensive book hoping to get a reward, but instead of this, I heard that my book was fake.
I wonder who the hell makes these stupid decisions out there? Is there a special person who sits in front of plenty of books, takes each of them in his/her hand, examines it in every direction and then returns a verdict that this book is fake, and this one is original? I doubt it.
They are just scammers and their company is a rip-off. They lie to us. I am sure they will sell my book for a very high price, because I'm 100% sure it's not fake, counting that I bought it from an official website. So I hope all of those people who replated to making this kind of decisions will burn in hell.

I sent them my three books and they said the books are in a bad condition. What? It's not true. I have never used them because we didn't need them on lessons, so they were on my table for 3 months and nobody touched them. How could they be in a bad condition? They said they won't pay more than 20 dollars for all the books. Can you imagine?

Do Not Use this Company! I sent them 2 books to be bought back. They accepted 1, but "lowered" the "appraisal" of the second, more expensive book down to $0, yep, nothing, and said I had 72 hours to reply to the email to "deny" the appraisal or they claimed the right to the book and to pay me $0, yes, nothing, for my book. I have asked several times for my book back, offering to pay shipping. They claim that they "cannot" return the book, so either they sold it or the destroyed it, neither of which they had the right to do. Now they offer to pay me 10% more for my "next book buyback"... seriously, you steal my book, then you think I'm going to use you again? Or they don't think I will use them again, so they send me a "coupon", which means nothing. Oh and did I mention that I sent the email back 73 hours later? This fight isn't over but please, people, do not use this service!

Dear Ashley, we have investigated the matter thoroughly on the basis of all the information regarding your order. In your order, we received two items. however, after our processing department examined them, it turned out that the conditions of both items were different from the ones quoted. The quote for the item with ISBN: 9780134066585 was adjusted (and the book could not be accepted within our buyback program) because its edition was different from the one initially quoted. The item quoted (according to the publisher) is a paperback, however, the loose-leaf edition was received, which does not have a buyback quote.The quote for the item with the ISBN: 9781305092167 was adjusted due to us receiving a textbook with the signs of wear that did not correspond to the "Used-Very Good" condition initially quoted by you, thus, the order was put on hold, and the letter with the information was sent to your email. After we received the review and the complaint, we have also provided two more letters and offered a free of charge return, however, no response was provided from your side. incomplete book
I bought a book (used) need it for a college class.
I am very disappointed since book is incomplete. The first chapter is missing 13 pages, and who knows what else trough the entire book.
I am wondering if they ever are going to get back to me since there is no way I can contact them except through email communication. I would like to ensure that when a customer purchases a book that they receive the complete text. I need a complete book before this Friday, June 23rd.

Now BooksRun open their stupid mouth to tell me they are not giving me back my money because I posted bad reviews about them. Which actually confirms my reviews, they are thieves. Now I have to dispute the charges with my bank in order to get my money back from these losers...PLEASE DO NOT RENT BOOKS FROM THEM. if you do and don't like there service and blog about it, they become very unprofessional and what ever guarantees they so called contract states, is null in void because they do not honor it.

I quoted six nursing books which totaled $90. Pretty low considering most books are $200 each, but it was better than nothing. I packaged them up after reading about the books they accept and what they don't accept and sent them off. They never emailed me to let me know they were received so I sat here waiting for any kind of response. I finally logged in on the website to see that almost all of the books were on hold. Now, there was a book that had water damage and I knew that was a long shot but it was going to go to charity anyways so I sent it. No big deal that they didn't want to give me anything for it. Now, the other two books that were in good condition with very, very minimal writing (Maybe a small note here and there, you would literally need to go through each page to even find them) they quoted $46 and $10 and upon receiving decided they weren't giving me anything. Even though if you read the books they take it states they do not accept "writing and markings (Unless on a very few pages or very slight) or highlighting on many pages". So what they actually mean is any writing at all on any page. So they screw you over when they get the books. No big deal, you can have them sent back right? Yeah, if you want to pay $20 in return shipping. This company is such a ripoff. They steal your books that they are going to turn around and sell for $50 and there is nothing you can do about it. I have used multiple other sites that buy back books and I have never had an experience like this. So I sent them six books and they are going to be nice enough to only pay me $30. How kind. If I could file a report I would. What an awful business.

I had the same thing happen to me. They claim both books had water damage but if that was the case it happened in their possession. I have dealt with many resell companies and this has never happened with any of them. Never again will I do business with them, very dishonest.
I have had a similar experience, but contrary to the above comments by the company, they claim they will accept the water damage (even though above says they will not accept any water damage). The photo they attached is a blurry photo of 1 page and they would like to cut my return in half.

Do you know Booksrun, rent books for half the semester so that you can keep paying for extensions. Also did you know that if and when you do an extension and/or your book is about to expire, Booksrun DO NOT send a notification reminder regarding your deadline approaching. What they do is just take your damn money, as they did me. They took 216.00 out of my account without prior notice, and then have the nerve to tell me that they are not giving me back all my money only half, like wtf. PIST to the max. They are a bunch of rip offs, never again will I rent another book from them. If you do business with them, you better watch your bank account because they are thieves. Now I am out of 216.00 messing this bs company.

I don't consider the payment receipt of the extension proper notification. Did you send a notification ANY TIME from 3/27/2017 to 4/23/2017 the day you took my money? I think not. BY THE WAY, WHERE IS MY REFUND. You received your book 4/28/2017, now where is my money. Why don't you comment as to when you plan on refunding my money. I have sent you to 2 emails requesting a status of my refund and have yet to get a response, but yet I get a email stating Books Run has responded to my comment. At the moment I only concerned with my refund. Everything is null and void.

I sold some textbooks via BooksRun website and when I received the money there was much less than I expected! I contacted BooksRun support and asked about the money and they claimed I received as much as they promised. That was not true and I was not satisfied with their decision and tried to resolve the matter but they were not interested in helping me! No matter how many times I contacted their support service they refused the pay the rest. I am very disappointed, these guys are liars and real cheaters!
All my textbooks were in a perfect condition and unused!

I got a charge from www.booksrun.com on my Bank of America debit card and I definitely never bought anything from this site. Nothing shows up on the web about them besides some others wondering who they are. Can anyone help with more info?
