Total scam! We sent them our book from my daughter's summer college Psychology class which she used for the class and purchased through a legitimate seller. After receiving a quote from BooksRun we sent it off as they requested. Today I received their reply that it was counterfeit and won't pay us anything (0$)! AND we have to pay $8.9to get it back! So they get the book or we end up paying them in the end?! My 15 year old daughter used her own money from savings to take this college course over the summer, so she really wanted to get something back from the book- textbooks are expensive and she paid more than they quoted her anyway! So upset for her! Not sure I want to pay this kind of company any money- but they have the book hostage.

Terrible company
I was a brick and mortar bookstore seller. I've sold on Abe Books, Amazon, Biblio, and I've sold to other Bookscouter sites. I've never had a complaint about the condition I've noted. Booksrun downgraded all of my books---just so they didn't have to pay out quite as much. The money was insignificant, but the fact that they are so dishonest means I will never do business with them. I want other honest people to be warned.
100% scam company.
I sold 5 books and they said they didn't receive 2 of them. Ironically when I sold them I noticed they didn't have any available to purchase on their website but now they have quantity 1 of each one available for purchase. You can't make this stuff up. So yes they received my two books, lied and said they didn't receive them and are now selling both of them.
I just pray they get a class action lawsuit against them.
I ordered a book for school 15 business days before my class started. Thinking that should be plenty of time to get my book before class. I even reached out to them to make sure I would have the book on time and they assured me it would absolutely arrive on time for class. It was due to arrive a week ago and I still don't have my book. I reached out to the company again several times, but can't get a response out of them. They got their money out of me, so no one cares anymore. So strange they were quick to respond before the sale, and now it's crickets. I went to the post office to figure out where my book was. The post office told me that because of the way they shipped the book it will most likely take 6 weeks to arrive. How is it possible a book will take 6 weeks to arrive leaving PA and going to Alaska? My class will be more than halfway over by then. Will the company respond to me regarding a refund, or help in anyway? Of course not! So students if you are trying to get a book for school and you still choose to use this garbage company you might want to order them 3 months in advance.
lmao don't believe this "resolved" whatever stuff. It's been 10 days I haven't even gotten any information on if they have even received my books. This is 100% a scam do not send your books to them.
