the manager and staff are racist
Two black males went to eat at the Boston pizza located in Scarborough Ontario at Milner and Morningside. The Manager and staff refused to serve them any food unless they gave them their I.D. The manager said this is a new practise that Boston pizza is practising. This is racial profiling and discrimination. BOYCOT them they are racist and do not value their black males customers.

Who whom this may concern, the reason why I am complaining today is because I attended Boston Pizza in Peterborough Ontario store #412 because of the food and the service. We went on 09/04/16 at 19:59pm, our order was simple fully loaded nachos and yam fries. My fiancé and I have ordered these items many of times and the quality this evening was unbelievable. You expect your money worths of food. We had one piece of chicken. Two banana peppers and lettuce. We were honestly just eating chips off the plate with nothing on them. When we brought it to the servers attention. We simply asked, " what goes on this." The waitress said "idk." My fiancé even said, " would you eat this, and pay 20$ for this if you were served it. There's nothing to it." The waitress looked down and said, " well there's one banana pepper." They didn't offer to take it off our bill, they didn't take it back to fix it, or even say sorry. We were sitting there for 15 min for our bill when there was 2 other tables of customers. She didn't grab the right refills. The waitress and manager who were on shift this evening had the worst customer service skills I've ever seen. They've lost my service, family and friends, as well as recommending it to others.

After a movie, we went to a Boston Pizza, location 450 Promenade Centropolis in Laval Quebec, the time was 21:30. My wife and I walked in and stood by the counter to be seated. The young lady at the desk was on the phone, I don't think it was a personal call, and we waited patiently to be seated. after about 5 minutes, I asked if we can sit or someone will seat us, to which she replied, it won't be long, someone will seat you shortly. We waited for another 5 minutes, no one came and she continued on the phone. I interrupted her and thanked her for the great service and walked out. I decoded to return and asked for the manager, she did come promptly, and explained to her what happened. she apologized and offered to seat us, however, by that time we lost our appetite for Boston Pizza. She did offer to give us something but we were too upset.
People seem to forget that when we walk into an establishment, we chose it and we expect to get the service. We as customers expect to pay a price for quality food and willingly pay to get the quality and service that is expected from our choice. The people who work there should be grateful to the customer for choosing their establishment.
I am very disappointed and probably never go back there again.

Hi, the reason I am complaining today is because I attended boston pizza (markham road location) because of the service and food and price. We came on august 19, 2016, and were not satisfied with the service or food but didn't wanna complain to the restaurant and were in a hurry to leave already. First of all, we were not greeted by the right person and she wasn't even our server. While ordering our main course the server was not aware of prices that were on the menu and couldn't answer all our questions. Our salad came quickly but I didn't enjoy the quality of the salad.in fact, I thought the salad was overpriced as well. It was 10.20 cents which were split between two people. Unfortunately, the other person is out of the country and they are unable to write this complaint so I am writing it instead. Secondly, it took about an hour for us to wait for us to order our main courses which I thought wasn't good. It took a while for them to bring them and I was disappointed about this. When she brought the order she didn't bring the complete order which I was disappointed about as well. She forgot to bring the salsa and sour cream and on the picture it shows a salad is also included but we didn't receive that. Again we had to ask for the salsa and sour cream. We ordered the chicken quesadillas. We also ordered chicken pasta and it was cooked terribly which had too much sauce and not what we were expecting. Last but not least we also wanted to order dessert and we have to wait to order this as well and to conclude the waiter messed up our receipt and didn't even add the dessert. We were honest and told her so she fixed it. We were mad because this caused us to wait more.in the end, we were not satisfied with our service but still tipped her 5 dollars each because that's what our standard is. Unfortunately when I got home the next day I was feeling very sick and this was because of the food. This gave me a very bad stomach ache. Overall, I thought the food was not worth the price and the service were terrible. I request a refund of $38.57. This was the not the total but we split everything but my friend does not have time to complain. She also does not feel comfortable complaining but because of me experiencing a very bad stomach ache I do have to complain and would like to get my money back. Our cashier name was ashley p. She did say she was a new server but I don't think she was trained properly and this caused us so much hassle. I would definitely not recommend this location. Please train your staff properly on how to make a customer happy. Anyways I would appreciate if I could get my money of 38.57 back. I was in to eat the other day. Could hear whom I'm only assuming was the boss screaming at the top of his lungs to the kitchen staff, swearing, throwing things etc. There were tables whom could hear this as well tables with small children. I don't know how they keep staff on here if that's what they have to deal with, probably because it pays their bills. Could hear waitresses talking about the "boss" what an a**hole, how do they put up with his [censored]. Seems that all or most of the workers hate this guy. Also seen a kitchen worker I'm assuming a boss/supervisor or whatnot because he was driving the BP car, have a couple beers at the bar then took off to either go home or make a delivery. The management seems very sloppy here only out to make the big bucks while the rest of the staff suffer and barely scrape by in life very sad BP I will never eat at the port elgin or Owen sound BP again (same owner). Shame on you!

I dont enjoy eating at this establishment altogether. However, wanting to indulge my friends on occasion, i usually stick to pasta.
My sister and i were going through the menus at home and she decided she really wanted BP. So, fine... once again, I grudgingly agree. I ordered the rib plate... that showed up incomplete. The soda i ordered - also never showed up. The staff on the phone were really kind, as was the delivery man. No complaints there. My beef is mostly with the company in general, in terms of overall delivery service (do the different points of service not communicate with each other properly?)
Im not sure whether this whole thing was more about the restaurant not being equipped to take phone orders, or the staff not bothering to ensure that a product leaves in due form. Whatever the case - im YET AGAIN, disappointed. Now that i didnt even have to leave my house to be let down by Boston Pizza, you can be sure you no longer get another dollar.
Your menu is cool and quite diverse, but there obviously needs to be a LOT of quality control here...

Went for a pizza tonight. Ordered a pizza, and a tea and coffee to drink. Waitress brought our tea and coffee, and our plates. The coffee was not a full cup because the waitress had spilled some on her tray while she was walking. She apologized and said she would be around in a bit to top up the coffee. I thanked her and off she went.
As we sat waiting for our pizza, I happened to look down at one of the plates. What caught my eye was the old pizza crust stuck on my plate from someone else's pizza. Still not a huge deal, I mean any dish washer can leave a bit of food on a plate. Then I had a closer look at the plates. They both were covered in a greasy film that showed dozens of finger prints.
By now I am a little grossed out, but I figure, "to ere is human". Right? I had a hard time flagging down our waitress because she had not as of yet made a return visit. (Not even to top up my less than full coffee.)
After about 20 minutes our pizza arrived, but a different waitress brought it. I quietly mentioned to her that these plates were dirty, and would she please bring us some clean ones. She took our plates and brought us different plates. No dried crust on these, but the same greasy film along with dozens of finger prints.
We ate our pizza off of napkins. We also only saw our waitress again when we were ready to leave. Needless to say, there was no refill on my 3/4 cup of coffee.
This was not a fun night, and we are not likely to be eating at a Boston Pizza any time soon.

My family and I met up with my cousin and her family for dinner at Boston Pizza on April 17 around 5:30. We were greeted and sat down and a fairly clean table (my spot had interesting stains left from before- and it could have easily been cleaned off- but not the complaint).
The waitress took about ten minutes before coming over to us (and it really wasn't busy- there were maybe five - seven other tables and about four waitresses we could see) and when she took our drink orders I could already tell how "nice" she was going to be. My son (who is 5) wanted to have some Chamomile tea- now other mothers may appreciate the fact that a 5 year old didn't want a sugary drink and instead have something calming like Chamomile tea! Well, we order his tea- and the waitress gave me this look as if I was crazy for ordering tea. She scoffed and GLARED at me! I'm sorry, but in what world is it alright to glare at a paying customer?! It's not like I was going to pour boiling hot water down my son's throat! Who is she to judge what a child drink? Isn't it better to have kids drink something somewhat healthy rather than sugar laden drinks? Maybe my son really did want something warm to drink? In what world does she hold ANY right to scoff at a 5 year old's drink choice?!?!
Fine, she wrote down the order and I ordered a cranberry juice with lime.
When our drinks arrived, my son got his tea which was good, but my cranberry juice came with Lemon. Unless she's colour blind- it's not the same thing! And when I looked at the drink and didn't say anything, and she had the nerve to say "what? Isn't that a cranberry juice?" in a nasty tone of voice! I didn't even bother asking for a corrected drink.
Then she took FOREVER to come take our orders- we were there probably another twenty minutes before she came back to take our order. And when she did- she took the 3 kids orders first, and then left. She didn't even give us a chance to order for the 4 adults. Ok- we thought fine, get the kids' food first. But it didn't really matter because all the food came out at the same time (which again took forever!)
This waitress Anya was absolutely terrible! She got almost EVERY order wrong, and we just didn't bother saying anything because she honestly looked like a person who would spit into our food. She was a complete nightmare and I honestly wish we didn't even go there tonight.
OH! And when we finally did get our checks to pay- she WALKED off! Who walks off when getting paid? Obviously she cared so little about her job that she would rather not get paid than treat people properly!
Honestly- never going back to this location again. The manager looked sloppy- no tie, shirt was untucked and hair was a mess. The food was only ok- not very fresh. Service was terrible beyond belief.

Called in an order at 6:21 pm. Took her 6 min. To take the order. I ordered a pizza with 3 toppings with ranchers dressing on the side as well as calimari also with white sauce. My pizza came with pepperoni on it. No sauces either. At 7:21 I put in a call to trace my order. I was told that they were sorry but my order was just leaving with the driver. Just leaving I said? Yes and we are sorry and are sending a coupon with your order. Nope didn't get that either! Being that I really didn't enjoy my dinner and so late. It was 8:00pm.. When done. Not worth the 53.30 for somethig I didnt enjoy. I think a refund is in order.

I am still shaking, I have never been so insulted & humilated & degraded in my whole life! My 13 year old daughter & I arrived at the Boston Pizza at Yonge & Sheppard at around 6ish. The restaurant was nearly empty. Despite that we waited at the hostess stand for a few minutes to be seated, while there were many staff members sitting at the table next to us. Eventually someone screamed for assistance & the manger BARRY PHOMMAVONG came to seat us! No hello, how are you. He did ask if we wanted to sit at the bar though? He seated us in the very corner beside the lounge anyways. Our waitress came & and quickly & quiet inhospitably took our order, that's the last we would see of her for an hour. My daughter ordered fettachinni with a rose sauce & I salad app & a 7oz Newyork steak. I stressed a little pink, medium to well. A long while later a Young man delivered our entrees along with our appetizers. I asked him to take back the apps. Who eats two plates at once? Still at this point I'm tolerating there here sous service. I figure I'll enjoy my entree & leave without desert until I cut into my steak. I had a
lengthy discussion with our server about what I consider med well & even if the cook was
confused I simplified it by asking for a little pink! It was of course, blue rare! Still I don't want to get upset & ruin my evening with my daughter. I figure when the waitress comes back for a quality check I'll just ask her to return it to the grill. When she returns almost half an hour later, I no longer want a replacement. I explain it taken to long & politely ask for our bill. Instead of our bill Mr BARRY PHOMMAVONG, manger, came back & rudly inquired why I sent my entree
back. I explained the situation with great difficulty I might add. While he screamed & second guessed everything I said. He said fine, retrieved my bill, turned & uttered the most disgusting, racial comment I have ever heard in my life! He speed away before I could even process it. I was in such disbelief, I told myself he couldn't possibly have said that! I decide at this point to just pay & leave or else I was going lose it. AND THEN? I still can't believe it! We leave our table & head for the door passing BARRY POOMMAVONG, instead of saying Thank You, I'm sorry, goodnight he stands there giving us

It has been over a year now, and I am sorry you felt this way. I am pretty sure my superiors at the time have extended there thoughts, and /or tried to reach out, so they can try and rectify this in a civil manner. To my acknowledgement, I am still shocked that this compliant is still up regarding myself. I no longer work for the Boston Pizza Company, and that specific location is shut down. I am looking to bury the "hatchet" with you after some time has passed, and although I wish every comment would be a nice one in regards to working in this industry, it is not possible. For the last time, on behalf of myself, and Boston Pizza (at the time), we are sorry for the dining experience you went through, and I did what I could at the time to rectify the situation at hand, and I am pretty sure my superiors went above and beyond to help solve this problem a year ago.

On Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 at approx. 7p.m. my husband, my daughter, our 8 yr. old grandson and myself were in Boston Pizza having a B-day dinner for my husband. My grandson wanted to eat in the bar area so he could watch the t.v.s. Soon as I sat down I noticed an individual sitting in a booth. closest to the kitchen with a woman I would assume to be his mother. He seemed to a bit dirty and a tad loud. A little later, his cell phone rang and the conversation was starting to escalate. His language towards the person, who from the conversation was maybe his girlfriend was less than perfect.. The f-bombs and the way he was talking to this person was both loud and totally disrupting our dinner and others in that vicinity. At one point, my daughter looked around to see who was causing the problem and he was very insulting to her. He was on his second pitcher of beer at that time, that we know. We called our waitress/bartender over and asked her if she could get the manager and speak to him. Nothing was done, so we asked her two more times and still nothing. I guess we could have just left but we fully expected the staff to ask him nicely to keep it down. We paid our bill, and as we passed the front desk asked the young girl there if she could get the manager. This person came out but said that she had been busy in the kitchen and didn't have time to deal with our problem. She didn't take our name and just said that she was sorry. I took a card and we went home feeling very let down with Boston Pizza staff. On Jan. 1, 2015 I sent an e-mail to the owners, , David & Patti Granic and as of today not had a reply. I asked them what the protocal was for staff to follow when faced with this situation? We has always enjoyed going out to Boston Pizza but this was very disappointing .

I delivered a pizza, and was not payed for the delivery by boston pizza, since i didn't not return the credit card slip, the customer refused to give it to me, now that's bostons problem not mine, i did my job i delivered the pizza.
What do you want BOSTON PIZZA to do for you... That is like saying someone cut you off an the road and then gave you the finger and the local police will not do anything for you to make it all better?

First off, our waiter didn't care for what we wanted to order. We took some time ordering due to having kids at the table. Instead of waiting for us to finish ordering he decided to leave and go to another table to take their order. As he brought our appetizers, we asked him several times for utensils. We had to ask other waiters for things we needed. He was very impatient. Once we finished our meals we wanted desert and we waited 20 minutes for our waiter to come. I had to ask another waiter where he was, and found out that he had left without helping us. I've never been so disgusted in my life . Rude service!

Just because you have children does not mean you get special treatment.
You were not ready to order so why should he ignore the other tables until you make up your mind? I have a feeling you are a child yourself being impatient as you are, 20 minutes is not that long. Perhaps this was due to the fact that another family was talking just as long to order. You have no right to complain about wait time when you think it is perfectly acceptable behavior for you to keep the waiter from serving others while you make up your mind.

we got a small pizza but the fat n ugly waitress charged us for the medium pizza. When we told her to change the bill she was really rudely that we asked for a medium pizza but now we don't have money to pay for it. So we said no we asked for the small one but ok we will pay for the medium one since you don't want to change the bill. Still she was really rude to us n didn't even talk to us anymore. I use to like that Boston pizza but I'm never going there again. Both me & my husband has good jobs to pay for our own food, I have never got this kind of rude behaviour from anywhere else. I would suggest everyone else to not go there anymore.

I know what really happened. You ordered a medium and tried to lie your way by saying you ordered a small. The fact that you did not have money to cover the cost of a medium confirms this.

Today was the 50th anniversary of Boston Pizza, so they were having a special. Each individual pizza was $5 (dine in only), which I thought to myself was great so I went ahead and drove to the restaurant and ordered the pizza. Now, here are the problems and complaints that I have. Firstly, our pizzas were cut horribly! Some pieces were uncomfortably long and some so short that it made eating the pizza awkward. Secondly, the dough was disproportionately made or cooked (it just looked unusual). Lastly, when we asked for our bill, our server gave us a bill with a total of $25.18 for 2 individual pizzas. At this point I thought maybe I heard the server wrong when she said the pizzas were $5 each, so just before paying to make sure we asked her to double check the bill and she said, "Oh..yeah that's wrong."
Now I don't know if that's just normal service at Boston Pizza, because I really hope it's not.

When you are paying $5 for pizza keep quiet and enjoy it. You get what you pay for. As for being overcharged everyone makes mistakes.
terrible food / small portions
My dad and I love going to Boston Pizza in Wasaga Beach and Midland Ontario. We usually order the nachos as an appetizer. We went to the Wasaga Beach Boston Pizza today for lunch and of course, ordered the nachos. When the order came we saw that the portion was not as big as it usually is. On top of that, we only got 4 jalapeños in the whole thing. It was ridiculous. Then we ordered the shrimp tacos because it was something that we haven't had before. When I got it, it looked good and smelt good. But when I took a bite out of it, the taco wrap had burnt pieces on it and the whole time I was eating all I could taste was burnt food. It was disgusting. I am definitely never ordering that again.
Lunch and dinner proportions are different. You should have told your dad the food tasted burnt, they would have had a chance to correct their mistake.

When the waitress saw that the OP was four years old Sunday, she should have known the OP cannot read.
Typically at any restaurant if you want more you are charged for it. They are not a soup kitchen. If you cannot afford to pay extra for extras than you can do without. Get a job. The fact that you are complaining about the extra money you have to pay for extras shows you cannot afford to eat there. Remember they are a place of business not a food kitchen.

I totally agree with the original writer. I went BP's with my boyfriend on sunday and the exact same situation occurred. I was outraged and talked to the manager. The manager informed the waitress should have, out of courtesy reminded that each time we ordered extra salsa or sourcream it would cahrge extra. Look at the other comments they have posted; likely don't get out much from the amount of time they spend on line. Their comments about you not reading are rediculous, but that's probably all they do without a life.
You didn't ask if there was a charge, so your server didn't want to insult you by mentioning a small charge.You might have been offended if she seemed to think you can't afford $2, just by looking at you. How much did you tip? Maybe you can't afford to eat there.

I an my co driver went in to the Boston pizza place we were hungry had nothing to eat since breakfast so I suggested we share a pizza, and he said ok and we ordered a all meat pizza we got it was not even hot like it should have been, but we ate it spent just about 35 bucks, and about 40 min latter we both got stomach pains and we had to got to a service station and get rid of the pizza we just had, good place to get diarrhea from is Boston pizza, first time in my life and also my friends life we ever got sick on a pizza and, the manager comes back say like he is a Dr that you don't get sick that fast well my Dr, tells me you can get very sick very fast if the food is bad. So me and every body I meet I tell them about how rotten you get treated for eating there crappy pizza so never again, I had a pizza in loydminister at Boston pizza and it came with a hair cooked into it and they tell me they have high standards I say bull ### to that.at least the one in loydminister, gave us a free meal for there blunder.but will never get a crap pizza form boston again. i can see why they charge high prices they dont like comebacks eat there once you will never want to eat there again
The manager is right you don't get sick that fast. I hope the manager sees this review and sues you for passing on false information to make his restaurant look bad.
You can get sick in 3 hours pretty much! But a empty tummy will pass that one along fast. The meat was probably sitting out too long?
Houston Pizza in Moose Jaw, they had a guy stir the pizza sauce in a garbage pail (clean of course) with his arm and his armpit made it in with the oregano! Yummy eh!

horrible waitresses!
On February 21 2014 me and 2 friends went to the lounge in Boston Pizza. It was extremely busy, and yes there were only 2 servers for the whole lounge. Our waitress however (Taylor ) was one of the worst waitresses I have ever had. Her table side manner was atrocious not once did she smile or give us any pleasantly whatsoever, but our table was seriously neglected... She did however have plenty of time to visit and have a great time with her table of friend that were right behind us.. At the end of the night when we didn't tip her (which is honesty the first time in my life I have ever decided not to tip a waitress) she confronted us demanding to tell her why, and tell her what she had done wrong... When we told her she wasn't friendly at all, she THREW the reciepts at my friend and stormed away.. That is when the other waitress (Deanna) decided to come tell me what a b**** I was and how disrespectful I was to the waitresses... I personally will never be a patron at boston pizza in fort saskatchewan ever again.. I understand having an extremely busy short handed dining room, but that does not mean our table needed to be neglected, nor did we deserve to be attacked by the servers. What happened to the customer being right!?
I am surprised they did not call the police or CPS on a bunch of four year olds dining alone. That clearly is child neglect.
i think your childish attitude has to do with not getting smiled at. When you act like a four year old as a customer you are not right.

At approximately 5pm, I came onto the BP website to complete an online order. Upon submitting the order approximately 10 minutes later, a message appeared to say the order had been submitted but not completed, to complete please call the restaurant. At that time, the website was very slow at loading and wouldn't allow me to return to the order page. Once I contacted the restaurant, a male answered, once I explained my situation that the website didn't complete my order then told me to call the restaurant, he resonded by saying he would have a manager take the line. After being put on hold for nearly 10 minutes, the male returned to say he would take my order over the phone, by this time I was able to get back to the order page to list him the items for my order. Once I placed my order again, over the phone, he then placed me on hold for roughly another 5 minutes, he came back to say they were out of one of the items I ordered (sticky ribs). This was very disappointing because it had already taken 30 minutes to place this order. We picked another item to add to our order to compensate for the missing item and I finished by requesting to have the order delivered and pay for it by Visa. He then told me they could only accept Cash tonight as they didn't have their personal delivery driver tonight. Another disappointment to add to the situation, I then asked the male how long for the delivery and he replied approx. 40 minutes. I explained to him that it was very disappointing to hear that the process had took well over half an hour to place the other and now another 40 minute wait along with all the other things that went wrong during one order. All he had to reply with was he was sorry for our inconvinence. I personally feel that more should have been done on the part of the BP employee to rectify the negative situation. I wanted to cancel my order all together but realised how much time I had already put into it and still went through with the order. I have to say that I really do not believe we will ever be ordering from Boston Pizza again due to such a horrible experience and lack of customer service that was provided. Just all around a very big disappointment, just to order dinner.
I had contacted Boston Pizza to reserve a table for 25 people for a surprise birthday party for my little brother. Upon reserving, I had clearly mentioned that it was a SURPRISE birthday party. As we walked in the restaurant, we took a seat in our spots and made a plan to yell surprise as soon as my little brother walked in. I know I am stating the obvious by saying 'we decided to yell surpise'. I say that because I was approached by the manager and was told that we weren't allowed to yell 'surprise' because that is not what NORMAL people do when they are in a restaurant. I told him it was a surprise party and of course we were going to yell surprise when my brother enters because that's the norm, upon which Jason McArthur told me that the other guests in the restaurant would not like it (even though we had asked all the guests in the restaurant if they were alright with us yelling surprise and happy birthday. They were perfectly fine with it) and he said that he will kick us out of the restaurant or add extra payment on our bills if we were to proceed with what we were doing. Furthermore, as the night progressed, the server who served us was really mean to all my guests and did not treat them with respect whatsoever only because they were kids. He yelled at them, messed up their orders and was also heard telling his co-worker '### THEM ALL' after we had paid. Additionally, at the end of the night when I went to express my concerns to the manager, I was only treated with disrespect, was badmouthed and yelled at by Jason McArthur. He did not apologize for any bad service. He did not made us feel welcomed into his restaurant despite giving him so much business. I thought of picking Boston Pizza to celebrate the special day. Not only did the horrible service ruin my experience but also the many guests' that I had brought along. I will make sure that I express my concern about this location to every single person I know. Not only will I never attend the 32nd ave location again but I will most definately have second thoughts about returning to any Boston Pizza again. I strongly urge and recommend that Jason McArthur be taught how to provide good customer service as well as respect his customers. I am so very disappointed. Jason McArthur needs to learn his manners and most definately needs to learn how to talk to people in the right way. I am EXTREMELY unhappy with the service. I will make sure I refrain all my family, friends and acquaintances from attending any Boston Pizza Restaurants again because the fact that a manager like Jason McArthur is hired at one location means that there will be many more Jason's hired at the various other locations.
Game Stop - Augusta Mall | Augusta Georgia: The Guy who manages the place, is a certified idiot, he keeps hiring convicts, felons, and immature clowns to run this crappy establishment, that only does a good job ripping off customers on their overpriced games. The Customer Service is ALWAYS lousy, and I discovered that the Gamestop managers enforce a discrimination policy on hiring blacks. The manager recently turned down another african-american male (who was qualified & had no record)- FOR NO REASON, only to hire; yet again, another white street dealer who was just let out of prison- FOR SELLING CRACK TO A MINOR! I hate what this racist manager is doing to the image of Game Stop, because I really used to love buying their games; now, I prefer to buy & rent games online or at Redbox, it's alot cheaper and I don't have to worry about lousy customer service or racism, in the comfort of my home. I HIGHLY recommend to others to do the same, and stop shopping at Game Stop...
