Campers Inn RV in Pittsburgh: A Disappointing Experience
I gotta say, if everything goes smooth sailing, then sure, you'll probably give a good review. But when things go south, that's when you really see what a business is made of. And let me tell you, Campers Inn RV in Pittsburgh didn't impress me one bit.
Back in April, we bought a used unit from them and were told it was in like-new condition. But when we got it, it was anything but. We had a whole bunch of issues with it, and we were promised that they'd take care of it for free. And honestly, they should have. But we were so fed up that we just wanted our money back. Unfortunately, that wasn't an option.
Now it's September, and we've missed out on a whole summer of camping because of all the problems we had with our camper. We're finally picking it up tomorrow, but we're never dealing with Campers Inn RV in Pittsburgh again. They really dropped the ball on this one.
Campers Inn RV Provides Great Service Despite Costly Mistake
Just recently became a proud owner of a motor home and had some issues with the LP not flowing to the appliances. Luckily, Campers Inn RV was able to fit me into their busy schedule and provide me with some great service.
I explained to them that I had already checked the full tank, made sure the tank valve was open, replaced the regulator, and purged the lines for 30 minutes, but still no luck. I even asked if there was a switch I may have missed, but they informed me that I would have to drop off the motor home for them to take a closer look.
After a couple of hours, I received a $400 invoice for 2 hours of labor, only to find out that the LP switch was off. I couldn't help but wonder, with their expertise, wouldn't that have been the very first thing they checked within minutes of troubleshooting?
Despite the costly mistake, I still appreciate the effort and time they put into fixing my motor home. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future repairs or services needed.
Disappointing Service Experience at Campers Inn RV: A Review of My Winnebago Revel Purchase
I recently purchased a brand new Winnebago Revel from Campers Inn RV in Kingston, NH last October. I was excited to hit the road and start my adventure, but unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the roof mounted MaxxAir fan. I took it upon myself to order the replacement parts and called Campers Inn RV to see if they could make the necessary repair. To my surprise, they told me that they couldn't get me in until August!
I was disappointed to hear this news, especially after hearing so many positive things about Campers Inn RV from the sales and F&I people. They continuously told me what a great organization Campers Inn RV is and how well they take care of their customers. However, my experience with their service department was the complete opposite.
As a customer, I expected better service and a quicker response time, especially since this was a warranty issue. It's frustrating to have to wait so long for a repair, especially when I took the initiative to order the parts myself. I hope that Campers Inn RV can improve their service department and provide better customer service in the future.
Overall, I had a good experience with the salespeople at Campers Inn RV, but their service department needs improvement. I would recommend doing your research and considering other options before making a purchase from Campers Inn RV.
Disappointing Changes at Campers Inn RV: Former Employee Shares Negative Experience
I used to work at Campers Inn RV and I was proud to be a part of the team even before they took over. But now, I can't say the same. I left the company to better myself and grow, and there was no bad blood between us. However, when I went back to talk about customers who had been waiting for units and had called my personal cell, I was told to get out and never come back. It was like they put blood in the water.
To make matters worse, my family and I's insurance was cut off before my final date. This has caused a back track of medical bills for my two kids who are both under the age of 3. The company did not honor the insurance 30 days after my leave. This has caused a lot of stress and financial burden on my family.
I was also in the market for a camper, but I can't even buy from the establishment anymore. My own friends who work there can't even help me out because of the company's new found "rule". It's really disappointing to see how things have changed at Campers Inn RV. I used to recommend them to everyone, but now I can't even step foot in the building.
Campers Inn RV: A Top-Notch Selection and Customer Service Experience
I recently had an RV experience with Campers Inn RV and let me tell you, it was quite the adventure! I had heard great things about their selection of RVs and their customer service, so I decided to give them a try.
When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by a friendly salesperson who showed me around and helped me find the perfect RV for my needs. I ended up purchasing a 2021 Forest River Rockwood Mini Lite and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
The RV was in great condition and had all the features I was looking for, including a comfortable bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. I was also impressed with the quality of the appliances and the overall build of the RV.
During my trip, I encountered a few minor issues, such as a leaky faucet and a blown fuse, but the staff at Campers Inn RV were quick to help me resolve these issues. They were always available to answer my questions and provide me with the support I needed to enjoy my trip to the fullest.
Overall, I had a great experience with Campers Inn RV and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality RV. Their selection is top-notch and their customer service is second to none. If you're in the market for an RV, be sure to check them out!
Campers Inn RV: A Company with Integrity, Respect, and Community Involvement
I used to work at Campers Inn RV and I gotta say, I know a thing or two about the company and its management. Jeff Hirsh, the owner/CEO, and Ben Hirsh, the CFO, are some stand-up guys. They're honest, ethical, and have a lot of integrity. They don't make decisions based on money, they make decisions based on what's right. I've seen them refund sales that they didn't have to refund just because they thought it was the right thing to do.
And let me tell you about how they treat their employees. Every single person, no matter what their position is, is treated with respect and dignity. They go out of their way to make sure that everyone feels valued and appreciated. Even when they have to let someone go, they do it in a way that's kind and gentle, so that the person's self-esteem isn't damaged.
Campers Inn RV is also a great member of the communities that they serve. They really care about the people who live there and they do everything they can to make a positive impact. And they're really invested in their employees too. They provide training and opportunities for advancement, so that people can build a career and a better life for themselves.
I'm retiring from Campers Inn RV soon, so I don't have any ulterior motives for leaving this review. I just want to help anyone who's thinking about working there or doing business with them. Trust me, you won't regret it.
Nightmare Experience with Campers Inn RV: Fridge Breaks Down and 27 Issues Found on First Trip
I recently had a pretty bad experience with Campers Inn RV. My wife and I were super excited to purchase a brand new RV from them back in July. We had a big trip planned to go see my son and grandkids who are in the military, and we wanted to make sure we had the perfect RV for the journey. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned.
On the second day of our trip, we woke up to find that the fridge and freezer in our RV had stopped working. All of our food had gone bad, and we had to go out and buy a cooler for the rest of the week. This was just the beginning of our problems, though. We ended up finding 27 things wrong with the RV in total, and we had only taken it out once!
When we got back home, we contacted the dealership to see if they could help us out. Unfortunately, they weren't very helpful at all. We've been trying to get in touch with them since August 19th, and we haven't heard anything back. It's been a total nightmare, and we've had to cancel three trips because of it. We're paying a $136,000 loan for an RV that we don't even have right now!
Honestly, I'm pretty frustrated with the whole situation. I just want my money back at this point. It's not fair that we're stuck paying for an RV that's been in the shop for three months, and the dealership won't even return our calls or emails. I wouldn't recommend Campers Inn RV to anyone based on my experience.
Warning: Do Not Do Business with Campers Inn RV of Florida - My Family and I Were Robbed of $20k
I just wanted to share my experience with Campers Inn RV of Florida. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them, as my family and I were robbed of roughly $20k.
We purchased a Motorhome from them on February 2, 2023, and it's now April 1, 2023. We've had a lot of issues with Campers Inn since then. First, the finance manager, Juan, made a huge mistake on our loan documents, to the tune of $8k! He told us to sign them anyway and that they would refund us once it all went through. But we still haven't received our refund, and Juan has since been fired. The owner of Campers Inn, Dave Hirsch, confirmed to us that Juan had been fired and that he never wanted to hire him in the first place! We're still fighting to get our $8k back.
Next, our loan documents weren't even submitted until two weeks after we signed them because Juan lost them! And we still don't have our plates or even a temporary plate because Campers Inn never submitted the correct files to the DMV, and they never had the previous owner sign over the title. We're still waiting on this!
But the worst part is that we were told the Motorhome had a BRAND NEW Turbo and EGR Valve, which was a key selling point for us. But when we drove it back to Texas and then back to Florida, roughly 1900 miles, both the Turbo and EGR valve failed! We were shocked! After meeting with Dave Hirsch, one of the owners of Campers Inn, he assured us that the problem would be taken care of, and that Campers Inn was a company of integrity. But that was a lie! We ended up spending 12 days in a hotel, costing us $300/day, and paying $7300 to a diesel mechanic to fix the issue. It was a nightmare!
We've since retained legal counsel and reported Campers Inn to the Florida State Attorney General. We're also telling everyone we know and reaching out to local news stations to warn others. It's just not worth the risk of doing business with a company that engages in dishonest and fraudulent practices.
If you're looking for an RV, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Campers Inn RV of Jacksonville West is the location we went to, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!
Campers Inn RV Review: Great Service, but Paperwork Process Needs Improvement
I had a pretty good experience with Campers Inn RV. The people there were really nice and helpful, which made the whole process a lot easier. However, I did notice that their paperwork process seemed to be more focused on the store than on the customer.
For example, when I bought my camper, I had to pay for it before they even prepped it for delivery. And when I did pay for it, the 20-day plates started from that date, not from when the camper was actually delivered. That seemed a little strange to me.
Another thing that I found odd was that I had to sign the title application before I even took delivery of the camper. I bought a used camper and purchased the peace of mind coverage, but they had me sign the title transferring a CT title before I even accepted the camper. It seemed like they were more concerned with getting the paperwork done than with making sure the camper was fit for sale.
Despite these issues, the service people were really great. They did their work well and were very helpful. This was my first camper purchase, so maybe it's just different from buying a car or a home. But I did ask to speak to the manager and never got a response. I ended up calling corporate, and they referred me back to the store.
I think the focus on paperwork is a sales booking issue. My brother-in-law bought a new camper from them and had the same experience. And my lawyer friend bought a camper from them this year and had to sign a form that made him responsible for the camper when it was on their property before he even accepted delivery.
Overall, I think Campers Inn RV is a good place to buy a camper. The people there are nice and helpful, and the service is great. But if you're going to buy from them, just be aware of the paperwork process and ask your salesperson about their delivery procedures. It's important to know what you're getting into before you sign anything.
Update: The store manager, Peter, called me back after I left messages for him. We had a nice conversation, and he explained that the paperwork is limited by consumer protection laws. He also suggested that they document this in a cover letter to give customers peace of mind when they sign the documents before taking possession. I think that's a good idea, and it shows that they're willing to work with customers to find a balance.
Nightmare Experience with Campers Inn: Faulty Camper, Terrible Customer Service, and Additional Expenses
fixed properly or not, but we will see.
Overall, our experience with Campers Inn has been a nightmare. We paid for a brand new camper and received a faulty one that leaked water and caused damage. The customer service was terrible, with no one willing to take responsibility or help us in any way. We were lied to and given the run around for weeks, causing us to be without our camper for over 15 days. We had to incur additional expenses to get the camper back and forth, and we still don't know if it has been properly fixed. We would not recommend Campers Inn to anyone and advise others to stay away from this franchise.

Terrible Service at Campers Inn RV: Recalls Not Fixed and No Communication
I gotta tell ya, I had a real bad experience with Campers Inn RV. I mean, I wish I could give them negative stars if I could! Their service department is just plain awful. I had some recalls that needed fixing, so I took my RV in to get it all sorted out. They told me it was all good to go, so I went to pick it up. But guess what? The repairs weren't even made! Can you believe that? And to top it all off, they never even bothered to call me back. I had to keep calling them over and over again just to get any kind of update. It took them a whole 10 weeks to finally get everything fixed. I mean, come on! That's just ridiculous. Needless to say, I won't be going back there again.
Disappointing Customer Service: My Experience with Campers Inn RV
So, I had a pretty bad experience with Campers Inn RV. I called them up to complain about something and they said they'd call me back, but they never did. It's like they don't even care about their customers. It's really frustrating when you're trying to get something done and the people you're dealing with just don't seem to care. I don't think I'll be using Campers Inn RV again anytime soon.
Disappointing Experience at Campers Inn RV: 7 Months for Repairs and Still Not Fixed
I went to Campers Inn RV to get my unit fixed up and it took them a whopping 7 months to get it done. When I finally went to pick it up, they told me it was all good to go, but when I got to the dealership, I noticed that there were still some things that needed fixing. I specifically asked them to fix the solar charger, but when I got it home, I realized that it still wasn't working.
Honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole experience. I mean, 7 months is a long time to have my unit in their hands and they still couldn't get everything done. It's frustrating to think about all the time and money I spent on this, only to have to deal with more issues down the line.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Campers Inn RV to anyone looking to get their unit fixed up. It's just not worth the hassle and the headache.

Poor Customer Service and Faulty RV: My Experience with Campers Inn RV
price. We also had issues with the RV we purchased from them. The slide out was not working properly and they did not fix it correctly. We had to take it to another mechanic to get it fixed. Overall, not a good experience and would not recommend.
I had a pretty bad experience with Campers Inn RV. My husband bought a couple of 4 wheelers from them and they charged him more than they should have. When he went back to talk to them about it, they just rearranged the numbers and added a few more to make it seem like it was the same price. It was really frustrating and made us feel like they were taking advantage of us.
We also had some issues with the RV we bought from them. The slide out wasn't working properly and they didn't fix it correctly. We had to take it to another mechanic to get it fixed, which was a huge hassle. Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying from Campers Inn RV. They don't seem to care about their customers and just want to make a quick buck.
Disappointing Experience with Campers Inn RV: Poor Repairs and Warranty Denials
I gotta say, my experience with Campers Inn RV was just okay. I mean, the sales part was fine and all, but when it came to getting repairs done on my brand new camper, it was a total nightmare. I've been trying to get things fixed for weeks now, and it seems like nothing ever gets done. The dealer keeps blaming the factory for denying warranty claims, and it's just frustrating.
To make matters worse, my camper has so many issues that it almost looks like it was wrecked and poorly repaired before I even bought it. I mean, come on, I paid good money for this thing and I expect it to be in good condition.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend doing business with these people. It's just not worth the hassle and frustration. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.
Poor Service and Incompetence at Campers Inn RV - Not Recommended
I went to Campers Inn RV to get my unit fixed up, but these guys just don't seem to have the smarts to get the job done right. I had a leaky roof and some electrical issues, but even after taking it to them twice, the problems are still there. And to top it off, they made me pay out of my own pocket both times, even though I have an extended warranty. It's like they can't figure out how to work with it or something.
Honestly, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from these guys or taking your unit there to be repaired. They just don't seem to know what they're doing. It's a shame, really, because I was hoping for better service. But I guess you get what you pay for, right?
Anyway, if you're looking for a reliable place to get your RV fixed up, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. These guys just don't have the skills or the know-how to get the job done right. So save yourself the trouble and find a better option. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.
Too my military folks, beware of this bunch. Read my BBB complaint of my recent $211,000.00 purchase of a lemon and their recent letter of condemnation throwing me under the bus. They totally ignored my request to resolve this nightmare I am a 100% disabled highly decorated Green Beret, google Bob Charest Green Beret.
This is just to let you know that I'm paying out of my pocket to have item's fixed that you was supposed to have fixed and heartland won't extend the warranty on my unit that you had for 7 months that I didn't get to use
