canada post mail delivery truck (5ton) passing double solid line 100km in 70km zone
Date: Friday September 1st 2017
Time: 1745 (5:45pm)
Offence: Tailgating, passing on double solid line, speeding 90-100kmph in a 70 kmph zone.
Good day,
I am a Constable employed by the RCMP, as I was on my way to work to start my shift leaving Pincher Creek Ab, travelling East towards Brocket on Highway #3. The driver of the vehicle a (5 ton cube postal delivery truck) was following close enough behind me that I could see the bugs on the grill of the truck. As I was in the 70kmph zone in the community of Brocket the driver of your mail delivery truck passed me on a double solid line and I estimated his speed to be around 90-100kmph.
I had a member from my office attempt to locate the truck but was unsuccessful do to the time delay of the offence and the volume of traffic due to the long weekend.
mail lady and her manager
We just moved recently. Our mail lady Sharon NEVER closes our mailbox. Its not hard you push it, it clicks its closed. Neighbours have made coments about how funny it is that they can close it but she cant...one if my neighbours is over 80! I called the office yesturday and asked the manager if she could please just ask her to push harder make sure it clicks because our mail is getting wet and covered in dirt. I get this morning a note in my mailbox to fix my broken mail box! 🤤 Its not broken! So again I call the office. Robyn said shes the manager and hasnt seen the box so theres not much she can do. I invited her and the mail lady sharon to meet me at the mail box for confirmation of mailbox issue or lazy mail person. Sharon calls me. She is rude, confrontational and belligerent. Calls me a lier and and hangs up on me twice. I call office back yet again. Robyn tells me I have to have my neighbours call in to complain about my mailbox because its just my word against sharons. Why would my neighbours call about MY mailbox?! I asked for the super intendants name. Robyn flatly refused to give me their name. She did however give me a 1800 customer service number...which I called and put me in ques for tracking mail ect. Not very helpful. Not very impressed. Great start to say the least.
rudeness of canada post staff
Date: August 28, 2017 at 5:30pm
Location: Canada Post office in Pharmaprix (Shoppers)
Address: 1051 Decarie Blvd, Saint-Laurent, QC H4L 3M8
(The one beside Cote Vertu Metro in Montreal, QC)
When I went to pick up the delivery at the Canada Post counter, the staff Valerie had scanned the shipment notification card and went through the address verification process, which was fine until this point. Once the verification process is done, she confirmed on her computer screen that the customer (me) has accepted the shipment, in which I did not see the parcel yet. (Note: It is a big box of child car seat).
When she pushed the box out from the storage room, I was already a bit shocked by it being dented and damaged. I asked Valerie if I can open it to take a look before take it with me, and she said Yes and handed me a pair of scissors to open it. After I opened it, I realized that there is no foam nor bag for protecting the product so I have doubt, and would like to refuse the shipment. However, another lady** who also worked beside her at the counter looked at me and said I could not refuse the parcel if I opened it. This was told "after" I had it opened.
**Note: this lady had flipped her name card to hide her name on her blouse. When I asked the staff who helped me to load the box to my car (eventually when I had no other choice), that staff said he also did not know her name. Let me called her Lady X for now in this case.
I was not satisfied on the spot and asked why this was not the way Valerie told me, then Lady X raised her tone, being rude, and repeat again that I cannot refuse the parcel since I accepted it and opened it.
First of all, I was mislead from the first staff - Valerie - at the beginning that I could refuse the parcel if there is an issue with it, and then I was told - by Lady X - that it is false information.
Secondly, as being a customer service staff, how can one be so rude when talking to a customer. When I said to Lady X that "The information I got from Valerie is not the same. She said I could check it before receiving it.", and all I got is "It is not my problem!" with an evil unfriendly look. I feel like I am treated like a teenagers who break everything in the store almost being like a criminal. I do not deserve this kind of service as a human being.
Canada Post Front Counter Staff - They are completely ignorant of the products that Canada Post offers. Most of them even have issues trying to sell you a book of stamps. The moment you walk in with numerous parcels they are rude and argumentative. No wonder I buy my labels for my business online. In the future I am only going to use the drop box. At least when I use the drop box, it is not rude and argumentative and my parcels magically seem to still get to where they need to go. When I take them in to the counter staff, they insist that it is not a Canada Post shipping label, that my parcel will not get to where it needs to go and try to tell me I can not leave them there. I have to inform them that other Canada Post locations seem to have no problem with my parcels and that I am sure they will figure it out. There is no need in today's day and age to even have this position. They are slow as molasses at the best of times and lets not even discuss how slow they are at XMAS. Have an automated kiosk like McDonalds and get rid of these overpaid, rude, argumentative people who should not be serving Canadian customers. As Canadian customers we pay their wages and then they treat us like crap. Privatize the Canadian Postal system all the way.
canada post delivery service
I have had two packages in the last week for which a delivery notice was left stating: was not listed.
The notice was left in my mailbox which would imply the delivery person had access to the building.
This boggles my mind as to why they did not come to my door with the parcel!
I am not listed on the main board for security purposes and would appreciate either an email or text when a parcel is here for delivery. I didn't pay for delivery to then have to go and pick it up myself at a depot.
Sincerely,
Annoyed
delivery to canada from eu
Awful service! Employees are not responsible for anything, parcels are not delivered and are not tracked on the site.
On June 26, a parcel was sent from Bulgaria with the tracking number RI248677051BG. The official site does not show the movement of the parcel. On one of the sites for tracking parcels, the status is indicated - 07/08/2017 10:23 PM
Sorting
Mississauga
I called today, on August 28, on the support. The operator replied that the parcel was not being tracked. I tried to explain that I see the movement on another site, the operator dropped the phone and did not let me say a word!
I do not advise anyone - you will be left without money and goods!
delivery notice & pick up friday-saturday
RE: Tracking Number [protected]
Was not at home to sign for my package on Friday, August 25th 2017. The delivery notice card circled the business hours on Saturday as being from 10:00 to 17:00 and the box was checked that I could pick up my package after 13:00 at Pharmaprix post office # 105122.
So I went to the post office #105122 on Saturday and was told that Friday notices really mean the article can be picked up only on the next business day, not on a weekend.
So why did I have to waste my time making a trip to the post office for nothing? And why would the Canada Post person who left me the delivery notice deliberately circle that the parcel would be available on Saturday?
This really annoys me because it was a rather urgently needed product, and I am very unhappy having to go to the post office again after I finish my long day at work on Monday.
Since Canada Post has been making parcel delivery a crucially important part of its business the past few years, I hope you will investigate what can be done to help customers get their orders quickly and efficiently, and not be penalized if the delivery happens on a Friday.

I have the exact same situation. Notice note was left on a Friday and circled Saturday after 13:00 would be available to pick up! but then I have another issue at picking it up on Monday... (details will be posted in another post)
rudeness of the mail carriers
I am planning on putting a mailbox outside our retail store, and carriers will no longer be welcome inside! I am sick of the rudeness! I sick of being yelled at if I point out their mistake. I delivered mail for 12 years and never would have spoken to a customer this way. I have had a retail store in Hamilton for 4 years now and it's not one! It's every one of them. What are you doing to make them like this? Even when I called customer service (that name is a joke) it was implied that I was in the wrong for pointing out a mistake. Well there's a suggestion for privatizing the mail system, my vote will be YES!
driver postman
I'm very upset with the postman around my house. THis is not the first time I have issues with him and I hope before go to the media, this situation be solved right away.
He didnt provide me his name or id, however, the plate of his car: AC 42697 or Ac 46297. At time: 1: 25pm August 11 2017.Zip: M1B1Y2
Getting home from work 2 blocks ahead my house he was delivering all mail of the area. and he had parked his canada post car in the middle of my private driveway. No way to enter my car, until he came to see me, and said I parked there because He brought a package (less 2 pounds) to my house.
I told him do nt do it again, because it is not the first time. however if argued, upset and when I request his name to file claim he refused. After I entered my car, he walked again to me. I told him stop and do not trasspas to my house or I will call the police and he shut, anger and used offensive words. Until I closed my door he was stopped just in the border of my driveway. It is scared, I felt threated for him. I have been living here 9 years and never any postman do it. he was challenge me to call the police because my small dog shi tzu was close to me and barking. I request and demand do not bring that man again with my mails. my father always is there is 77 years old and This is a terrible situation in Malvern residents . My husband brain aneurism surgery and I am heart conditiomn patient too.My name Marta Soto. email: [protected]@hotmail.com
service
I have to go pick up my mail at 400 Mc Dermot Ave. Winnipeg Manitoba. Ext 2005. Every single time I call probably over 1000 times, if I leave a msg? Never a call back. They NEVER pick up their phone when they are open at the time I call, I've been there before and I know they are not busy. So i'm not able to tell if I have mail or not. Then I travel all the way over there to find out I have no mail. Bad enough, I have to go on my lunch break because the only time that they are open is when i'm working which isn't entirely fair. They are only open Mon-Fri 9:30-1:30. Why? What about the people who have a job and have to take their own lunch breaks to pick up their mail? Service should be better. Please if you can, contact me. I would like to talk more on this issue because this is a serious issue that has to be resolved.
delivery service
Date of the incidents : Aug, 2, 3, 4
On Aug 2, 2017 a parcel small enough to fit in the parcel compartment was delivered to my apartment, I was not home, the parcel was left at the front door of my apartment. Anyone could have picked it up and walked away with my parcel. 2nd Delivery was yesterday, the mail man came and simply put a notice that I need to pick up my package, he indicated to Canada Post that there was no safe place to leave the package. Meanwhile he failed to come and knock on my door to deliver the parcel, It is a large item and the closest location is still far enough to pick up my package. I spoke with security and other residence whom were present at the time the mail man arrived and they confirmed that he did not have any large parcels with him, he simply went to the mail room. I now have to take a taxi and pick up my item although I have already paid for shipment & delivery.
I called to make a complaint the and supervisor indicated that they will reship the parcel, I provided my cell phone number, buzzer and confirmed my apartment number etc. This morning at 7am I get an email notification that the parcel is indicated as delivered and I have to pick it up from the store. I have been home both days waiting for my delivery. This Canada Post employee clearly does not do his job or does not want to make deliveries to community housing apartments. If so this is a clear practice of discrimination towards Toronto community apartment residents.
I have never had issues with parcels in the past as I shop online quite often. But the past few days have been the worst experience with Canada Post.
postal codes not registered post office not correcting or responding
Deliberately obstructive system of consumer complaints and lack of responsible governance. Two months ago rented po box called many times to cust svc and gone in person given four different postal codes still not able to fix problem. Can post cust svc agent said it was my responsibility to fix the West Brant RPO Can post office problem for registering incorrect postal codes with Brantford municipality. according to Can post online no such address exists for postal code used for boxes at this RPO at 320 colborne st w- As the client I should not have to fix problems with Can Post postal codes being incorrectly administered and registered

post office mardaloop calgary
I recently got out of ACL surgery and it's painful. I called ahead to the post office in Mardaloop in Calgary Alberta to see if they would kindly come out and check my ID so I wouldn't have to make the trip in to the post office as it's very painful. The gentlemen on the phone was pleasant and said that they would be able to accommodate me by coming out and checking my ID and have my partner pay for forms on my behalf.
When I arrived he told my partner I would have to go in. I went in and mentioned to the person working that it would of been nice to know that information before hand. There was no apology or empathic response back. It was a awful response. Defensive, aggressive and dismissive one I'm not familiar with Canada Post in my past experiences. He said it was illegal for him to do that which I understood but irritated that it should of been mentioned prior in the phone call. He said he never took such a call. He then refused to serve me because I was being "disrespectful".
I asked if management was on shift. No response. I was in disbelief that someone who deals with people on the front lines every day was not able to customer service an legitimate upset customer with empathy and compassion. This is by far the worst customer experience I ever had with any company.
I think it would be fair to have a written warning given to him with note to file to monitor future behaviour. If this is the third warning, a dismissal is what I would reccomend be the best interest for Canada Post.

my mail delivery person
The person delivering my mail has written on the outside of my new mail box. She also delivers the mail doing the route backwards as to not get out of her vehicle at any time. This means she is delivering mail on the wrong side of the road on a secondary highway. I have met her several times in fog and snowy conditions coming right at me. She has had a serious accident during this employment, but had just gotten off work. She drove through a stop sign and was hit. She is hard to deal with, and always thinks she can do no wrong.
parcel delivery
My fiance was put in prison, the prison then took belongings he had which were not allowed in there and then sent them to me via Canada post. 2 separate parcels took over a month to be delivered to me from a town 5 hrs away from me, costing me money to be delivered, only to have Canada post then send back only 1 of the 2 parcels before the 15 day holding period was up which contained my fiances engagement ring, to which is now sent back to the prison which he is not allowed to have, only to have the prison then destroy the parcel. I'm extremely angry with this as when I called to ask about it all I was told was "just call the prison if you want them to send the parcel again"... after explaining that they've already destroyed the package because of their mistake. Even if they did have it there, why is it my problem to have to pay a 2nd shipping fee for this when it was sent back before it's due date not giving me enough time to pick it up as well as costing me more money to re send it back to me again?!?! And when I stated those points out, literally the only response was "if you want your package back again then you need to call the prison it's not our problem anymore " and when I pointed that she had absolutely no remark about the mistake made by them to begin with, and now I lose my fiances engagement ring and other valuable stuff like his wallet, because of THEIR MISTAKE, still all she could say was "again if you want your parcel delivered again call the prison." What a freaking joke! This is what we pay them for!?!?! I don't even like using Canada post for mail to begin with. Nor did I want to deal with them as this is an issue I've seen many times before but had no choice as the prison sent my parcels that way... on my dime... and really? THIS IS WHAT WE FREAKING PAY FOR?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
delivery of an item that requires a signature was not delivered
Hello,
A package was to be delivered to [removed] today (Aug 1) with the following tracking number [protected]. It was for my husband so I was not too certain which company was delivering it. When my husband got home he said he got notification the package was "attempted" to be delivered by Canada Post. That is upsetting to me as I literally saw the mailman go to the mail box but he did NOT come to my house (I am across the street and can see the box & the walkway to my front door from the window). I was home waiting for the package & am very disappointed it wasn't delivred to me. It is an inconvenience to now go to the post office tomorrow over my lunch hour because the mailman did not wish to walk actress the street. I would like to please hear back as to why it was not delivered as now I'm concerned about future delivery. You can reach me at [removed] or [removed] Thank you for your help!
driver's driving
I was driving north bound down St Anne's Road around 3:24 pm when a mail truck came through Beliveau, slowed down and then turned suddenly right into my path. I slammed on my brakes as I was going 60 kms an hour which is the speed limit on this section of road. The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic which has the right of way. The licence number of the vehicle was FWH 747 and the # was #13763. This happened today, July 31, 2017. If I hadn't been alert I would have hit the vehicle. I missed by less than a foot. I am not happy about this at all. I await an answer back from your office.
I was told mail was sent to me at two different address I sent documents by Canada post and paid for a signature and parcel went missing to peel police board [protected], [protected], [protected] recently I had to ask my phone company to resend my bill as I have not Recive the last two and no explanation of why a 911 call on April 11, 2016 was not on my bill now I send the last packets sent by Canada post paid for signature on five packets two of the packets was not signed for .
There is a work ticket for the packets sent by photo.

everything
I ordered 2 day shipping, it has been 4 days now. My tracking says my package was delivered yesterday, when it was not. Then, this morning it was scanned out for delivery. I called the number listed on your website and was guaranteed to get my package today by 8pm. It is past 8pm and as expected, my package didn't show up. When I called I was told there was an error, in which my package was taken to the wrong sorting facility, but I would still get my package today by 8pm. When my package obviously didn't arrive, I tried to call again only to find that the line is closed. I can't help but feel I was told to wait until 8, as that is when the line closes in PST, so that the customer service rep I spoke to didn't have to deal with it. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by this lack of service. I want to say I'd never use Canada Post again, but I don't have much of a choice. Your lack of competitors shouldn't mean you can slack in customer service. This isn't my first time having a problem with your services (or lack thereof), from no packages delivered to situations like this. Every employee of Canada Post should be ashamed by the embarrassment that is their employer.
the late delivery and unreliable postman
The postman in Guelph is such a unreliable man that never delivered the package on time but change the tracking status couple of days before she deliver the package. I bought sephora for two years, never met the packages not delivered but status showed it's already delivered. Recently my three packages all delayed by this lazy unreliable postman. It's ok raining days you don't deliver but the second day it's a shining day you still don't deliver the package and today is the third day. I will complain you every where until you get better or lose job. Hope you will see this.
