Its obvious the holdrege Nebraska Casey's need help. I have seen several new people in and out. No one wants to stay because of management. The head manager for ho!drege was working in the morning and was very rude to a customer. Customer said how is your day going and she got no response. Managers are to cover when workers call in. If peop!e sign up for manager that is part of their job. Being rude to customers is not right. You should not ever be rude to your customers but in holdrege it happens daily. Also workers or management should not ask their coworkers about people in their family life. That is not their business. Ask yourself if you have questions. Very unprofessional at the 2 stores . very sad that the customer is no longer right or appreciated at all.

Management problems
My girlfriend's son Matt was recently promoted to Kitchen manager at Casey's in LaSalle IL. Last week He became ill and he went to Urgent Care. He tried calling Casey's in LaSalle Illinois numerous times. They refused to answer the phone. I tried to call and got the same thing nobody answered. His mother tried to call many many times nobody answered. I posted it on Facebook and Facebook friends tried to call nobody answered. When we finally got somebody to answer the phone The manager was very rude and ignorant and stated that there's no way they did not answer the phone. I called one day and finally got somebody to answer and she said her name was Jackie. She said to call tomorrow when the manager was on duty. I found out the manager's name is Jackie. Whether this is one in the same I don't know. Anyway we were told that he was fired on a Saturday when he was in the hospital emergency room even though we could not contact them. My girlfriend finally spoke to the manager today because she was really rude when her son finally got through to Casey's yesterday. And she explained to the manager that we have so much documentation that we continually tried to contact Casey's. We also have medical documentation. When we explained what the outcome was of his medical issue she said good job Matt and hung up the phone. After we told her of all the documentation we have she is trying to deny firing him.
Desired outcome: I think the manager needs to make a public and written apology. I think that she needs to be fired. He is very concerned about going back to work for fear that they will find a reason to fire him.
Employee complaint/ district manager
The store manager at the glasford Illinois Casey’s is rude to the customers all the time. She will yell at them if they don’t listen to her when she tells them to put their card in the card reader. She’s very hostile. She also treats her employees horrible. She throws stuff at them. I have been there as a customer and seen it with my own eyes. It’s definitely a hostile environment. The district manager just brushes off the incidents when they are brought to his attention. He doesn’t reach out to the ones that come to him to tell him how this store is benign ran. She in my eyes needs to be fire due to the way she is rude to the customers and the employees! The store needs to have someone running it that is respectful to customers and employees. Myself and other customers have tried to contact the higher up and the corporate office but can ever get anyone to answer the phone!

Management is a joke at my store, always having attitudes when asked for help, cutting people hours outta spite, not allowed breaks ? That's a joke right !? The store is gross 90% of everything is broken or not working we have 4 pumps down the ice cream machine, and the freeze machine. Our floors are so sticky everywhere and our bathrooms let's not get started... our stock room is a fire hazard and our coolers have molded nasty milk on the floor...

Horrible management
I just quit my job today because of how bad the new store manger is. In Hiawatha Kansas store 915. I called in sick Monday evening about 6:15pm. The manger wrote me up because I didn't have a 24hr notice, but the policy states and hour before you start your shift. Also told me I needed a doctors note before I could return to work. (I have messages to prove) He then calls me this morning and tells me I need to come into work. I also read in the policy that if employees call in sick the manger has to find a replacement. He makes his employees do it. I was just tired of being disrespected, I worked at the same store a year before I reapplied and never was treated the way he treated me.

Poor management
I'm a customer who was going into your store at Jay, Oklahoma store number 3701. Your store manager is telling the customers about everything that her employees do wrong including one who stole $1000 from the store. I don't think that is very professional. On another incident your store has a couple working there that is not dependable and has poor working ethics. The young man of the couple doesn't show up for work on time and he also was wrote up for using a pizza knife like a sword and it was on video. He lied to management and said he properly sanitized the knife but he really just put it back on the table and they used it to cut customers pizzas with it. That is very disturbing and unprofessional. Management wrote him up on multiple occasions and his girlfriend too. They still work for you. The employees that are dependable and reliable they get rid of. I hope that this isn't the kind of store you are running. One of your employees was late one time to work and when she was to start her shift they terminated her and said that she was wrote up several times. According to the employee that was her first write up and was not given a reason why. Just shows you that you are running a crappy business here.
Desired outcome: Corporate needs to investigate these accusations and deal with the management crew that's running the show. FYI management won't tell the truth. If you want the truth ask your ex employees

The manager at store 3728 stop 12 is a racist she is manipulative and if you don't do what she wants you to do she cuts hours. The employees smoke weed behind the trash can. She is by far the worse manager I have ever worked for on top of being lazy. The assistant manager Brittany does nothing when bring thing of concern to their attention you get treated bad as if you are the problem nothing is ever done about people not coming to work on time or smoking drugs on the clock. If you are of color you are made to do everyone's work. The management is poor and sad. I give this store zero stars and someone needs to go in and figure out why the cash is always short.why there is never pizzas in the warmers or sandwiches. April sits in the office all day and don't do any work. laziness is the reason nothing gets done..she will hold your w-2 and if she don't like you she will lie and make up things on you.she is a true manipulative person.

When I first started at Casey's everything was going really good. But then I had started to get really uncomfortable with the kitchen manager. I worked in the kitchen as well. I had asked the store manager to not work with the kitchen manager and ask if he could not show up when I would be working. The store manager said he would do that and talk to the kitchen manager. The very next day the kitchen manager was there when I clocked in and stayed there untill the end of my shift which made me feel very uncomfortable. On top of that I had gotten a very bad tooth infection to the point where my tooth is falling out. Granted there are only 2 kitchen closers it was me and the kitchen manager. So when I had asked the kitchen manager if he could cover My shift due to the pain and the doctors notes I had get refused and then the other managers at the store started harassing me constantly. Also one of the shift team leads started rumors about me and was going around work saying very mean things. It had gotten to the point where I had no choice but to quit. I will never go back to that store and I would never recommend anyone to work they at all. I will never like caseys anymore for that matter
Management and employee
One manager doesn't do much while the other manager makes her own schedule and leaves whenever she feels like it. Also one manager has her girlfriend/wife in the store office when that is against the guidelines. One employee just sits arounds or follows the main manager at Casey's.
This Casey's is located in Van Wert, Ohio. The one employee who just follows the main manager around is possibly getting a promotion which shouldn't be allowed and I see it's unfair. The main manager is named Brittany the other other manager is Kylie... the employee name is Ciara Wiseman.
This store has no leadership skills and is in utter chaos.
Desired outcome: I would like better leadership that is respectful and strict.i wish for a none chaos zone when I work.

I worked at the McKenzie Tn store for almost 4 months. When I was first hired I was Hired for days. My manager and a couple employees ended up getting covid. Me being the good hearted person I am covered shifts for everyone day and night. I did this without complaining and in the spur of the moment. My first few paychecks were 94 hours, 86 hours ect... another words overtime each pay. To make a long story short. My manager had previously told me that there was a college student who was off for summer break and would be coming back to work, ect... She also assured me it would not have any effect on my hours. After working my tail off 2and a1/2 months later I was told she needed me to work the 4-12 shift so that she could punish another employee for not doing their job so she was putting her on 8-4 for a week. Two weeks later she informed me she was leaving the schedule that way. Then she told me i would be getting a 50 cent raise and moved to fulltime. A couple days later the college student came back, and all of that went out the window. No raise no fulltime status, just attitude. A week later she told another employee that she was cutting hours to people who were calling off to teach them a lesson. About a week later I had gotten down sick. I had to miss about 4 days of work total by the end of this. I went back with a drs statement. When I went back to work I noticed that my hours had went from 37 hours a week to 22 hours a week. I tried contacting the manager repeatedly and i have all of the messages and call logs to show this but, she would not answer my calls or text. This went on for about a week. I went in on Saturday because the normal schedule for me was 4-12 only to find out she had put this boy on the schedule in my place, when I called no answer as usual. So I went home the next morning I thought I was scheduled 4-12 but apparently she decided to change me to 8-2. When I woke up I noticed my manager had text, not called just a text asking me if I was working. I tried calling of course no answer, so i text back and said why wouldn't i be. no answer so I called the store. Our kitchen manger answered and I explained that I messed up when I looked at the schedule and she informed me that my shifts had been covered. So upset I told her that was fine I was going to quit. I repeatedly tried calling Donna I tried texting even going to the store only to have her act like a preschool student and hide in the office. She finally answer one of my messages to inform me she would give me a reference to another Caseys but not another employer. I contacted coorperate and the let me know I was eligible for rehire but every application I put her down for a reference on has found other people to hire. This store is very improperly managed and if you talk to any regular customers they will tell you I went above and beyond for this woman just to be disrespected used and tossed out. They really need to look into this store better, they wouild find out a lot o thing they don't know. I can't tell you how many nigh5ts I went in to find managers all gone and safe left open. The employees do the managers jobs for them. I really felt bad for her when I first started but I soon realized she uses people and thats why they can not keep good help

When I first wrote this review I was really hurt. I felt used, lied to, and just flat-out disrespected. Over the past couple of months, I have moved on and although everything I said was truthful in my eyes, I'm actually glad it happened. Although I am still considered a rehire, I would say the ones I had issues with stopped that, because I literally tried every store within a 50-mile radius and did not even get a phone call. It's okay though, I am a better person than that. So my apologies if I offended anyone with what I said, it was not my intention I just needed to vent. Mabie one day, they will realize they lost someone who was loyal and wanted the best for the store, but I won't be holding my breath.

I believe i was wrongfully terminated when my manager sierra reed found out i was looking into talking to a lawyer about discrimination my hours got cut days take. Away from me and then she fabricatea lue saying i was terminated for theft this story is in digger indiana most employees are rude manager sierra reed is rude to employees and customers this all started around july / August 2022 and I was the only one that raised concern about selling expired products. And when I tried to call corporate they forwarded me to district manager voicemail and she still hasn't returned my call
Desired outcome: my name cleared sierra reed to be held responsible for retaliation neputism and makeing false accusations about me and i would really like so compensation for all the trouble I've went through

I ordered a pizza from the Owatonna Mn. caseys on Saturday 8/29/22 and when i went in to pick it up the gal cutting it was eating pieces off it and licking her fingers, yes she had gloves on, a clear pair. I was so mad, i paid and left and threw it in the garbage. i called the store manager and she acted like she had no training in her field and basically could care less. This needs to be taken care of or someone is going to get deathly ill. It is a shame workers do this kind of thing. I have no immune, so i have to be very careful. I hope this issue is taken seriously. It was around 5:30 pm that eve. and gal had dark hair pulled up working with a blonde gal. Thank you, Michelle Joslyn

Hanging up on customers
I went to order a pizza online for pickup at the St. Clair Missouri store. It said that they are only taking calls for orders, which I understand. So I called three times and all three times it rang about seven times and then you can hear someone pick it up and hang up. If they are understaffed and can't service their customers, then it should say something else on on the website. But for them to pick up the phone and hang up without saying anything is horrible customer service.
Desired outcome: I would like for the store to be a little bit more professional and provide better customer service. And a free pizza would be nice too.
Wrongful Termination
On 8/26/2022 I feel that I was wrongfully terminated. Let me started by saying I’m a full time student and part-time employee. On 8/25 I attended my morning classes like normal from 8am-5. I understand my school schedule does not matter to them cause it is not beneficial. But it is to me. At 6pm I clocked in for my shift with. I work in the small town of Tamaroa, Il only about 800 people and you guess it only 1 gas station/ convenient store so it is busy from open till close. Of course they run with the smallest crew possible only 2 people working at a time except lunch and truck. Now of course not everything they want gets done when you cant work past 11 ( if you do you get wrote up) so at 11 I clocked out and drove 25 miles home. Now remember the Full-Time student. On Friday 8/26/22 is truck dayI was scheduled to come back in at 6am which is only 7hrs between shifts. Which I’m pretty sure Illinois state law requires 8hrs between shifts. If so then that shift was in direct violation of state laws. To top it off I was only scheduled from 6-6:30 yes a 30min shift so not worth driving 50 miles and then scheduled again from 6pm to 11pm but never made that shift because I received a text message telling me I was not needed anymore.
Desired outcome: I would like to have my job back but I realize that probably wont happen I would like for them to be called out for mistreating there employees and make it right

Tea is supposed to be BRISK & DARK, AS WELL AS SWEET! Your crews in both Albany, and in Stanberry, make their teas to look like SUGARED PISS WATER! The tea they make is virtually SEE THROUGH, AND THAT IS NOT THE WAY TEA SHOULD BE MADE! A person wants to TASTE the BRISKNESS of the tea, as well as the SWEET of it. We need to have that BRISKNESS in our tea, because WE ARE NOT COFFEE DRINKERS! We need BRISK TEA to help jolt us up, like others do with coffee. Thank you for your time.

Management has no place in an employee's personal life let alone placing any judgement especially in a workplace. On top of that in a way threaten this employee about "consequences".
