My flight ticket
Hie last week Tuesday l called the cheapoair customer service so they could change my flight routes,they said they would make the update and send me an email confirmation in 72 hours,now it's past 72 hours and they still have not send me any information,can l please have my update and confirmation about my flight,you guys need to to really work on your response time considering the money that customers are paying out.My booking number is75683072,l need a update and a confirmation ASAP...l even sent them an email to remind them and called them but up till no they have not responded yet which is very dissapointing.There is a reason why l booked my flight ticket early and l don't really like they way that they are handling this.They need to learn to give customers a value for their money ..
Desired outcome: I need my email confirmation and my flight ticket solved and my booking ticket confirmation as soon as today,no delays on that.l shouldn't have to wait for more than 72 hours to have this done
Flight Tickets
We usually like to think that companies like Cheapoair will be okay to deal with, but wow this has been the absolute worst experience. We regret this. We booked tickets ([protected]) to be able to go to the Philippines for funeral arrangements, essentially to bury some family members who had passed due to COVID. Our flight has a layover in Narita airport in Japan, and then we have to switch to airport (Haneda) to catch the plane going to the Philippines. Similar case for the return flights. As per Japan's Covid 19 restrictions, going out to transfer airports even if just transit is not allowed.
Japan Airlines policies say that "Tickets issued by Japan Airlines (JAL) with ticket number starting with '131’ that meets either of the following conditions are eligible for a one-time free change to an alternative flight departing on/before November 30, 2022, or a refund without cancellation charges." Our case both falls under these conditions:
1. Reserved flights departing on/before October 29, 2022 impacted by schedule change or flight cancellation
2. If you are unable to travel due to travel restrictions imposed by the destination
In this regard, we were requesting for them to either change our booking or simply cancel it then give us a refund so we can make other arrangements.
Currently, we quite literally have tickets that cannot be used. I’ve contacted Cheapoair many times, each having to wait for longer than an hour, then put on hold, and then when someone responds, they pretty much say that they’ll follow up in a few days to check on the situation of the refund. Absolutely no email or follow-up still. It has just been ridiculous dealing with Cheapoair.
This is a lot of money that Cheapoair has taken with no accountability or willingness to help in the matter.

Refund and airline credits
My mom purchased the ticket last year to come to usa from my country. She showed up at the airport. there was confusing rule change about Pcr and other test regulation for covid. So Airline an employee didn't allow the board at flight because of that she missed connecting flight at other country. She wasn't able to take this flight. I contacted the cheapOair customer service and explained about the situation. She show up at airport and other airline considered her as no show up. Anyway recently Cheapo Airline emailed me that I got credits from this flight I had to use it before expiration date. So following weeks I have been contacting to Airline to purchase new ticket with my credits or either get refund. So they told me to pay no show up fee and fare difference. I said I am okay. After that they told me ticket is suspend comeback week later to contact us. I have contacted following week. Again same excuse or other issue that they need to clarify something in order use this credit or refund. I have been phone and online many many hours just hoping hear good news. Unfortunately I am succeed after spending and wasting so many hours on the phone and internet for Trying to use credits they issued me in first place and expiration date. I feel like CheapOair employees making all kind of excuses in order to me to prevent me to use this credits and waste my time. Simply Tryna look like ethical company who care about the customer when I. Reality they are trying to pretty much rob every penny from their customers. I feel so sorry for the Airline. But such unethical and cheap just Trina maximize their profit. If fact you guys are losing your customers because of your greedy and unethical practices. If you cared about your customer need and trying provide value for them..I m pretty sure your profit be double and you could have reputation for your company.
I never gonna do business with you guys or recommend to friends and family.

My original flight for my return was auug. 13 2021 the airlines (air canada Operated by luftansa cancelled my return portion i ask for refund and explained what happen cheapoair didn't respond until a year later saying I have a credit which will expire on the 29th of june even tho and i need to use it so I attempted to use it but was unable to find a flight i asked for it to be extended and was denied so I attempted to use the credit one more time and I found a ticket for a lower price than the credit I was denied again and told to call the air line my self to resolve the issue but i paid cheapoair to act as the travel agent but it seems that they are good at taking your money but that"s it booking number [protected]

My airline changed my return flight and cheapoair keeps hanging up on me after waiting 21/2 hours on the phone!!!
My airline changed my return flight and I was never notified by Cheapoair until I called for some information.
Not knowing better, I called the airline and they informed me that my file was with Cheapoair and theyre the one who need to make the change. The airline informed me that there should be No extra charges for the changes since it was the airline who changed the flight.
So I tried calling the next day, 6/22/2022 and after speaking to the first agent, he had to connect me to someone else to be able to change the fllight. I waited 21/2 hours on the phone and finally spoke with the proper person who can make the changes, they wanted to charge me a fee for the change. They put me on hold then hung up. I called again today at 9am 6/23/22 and again after having to wait for a second agent, I waited another 2 hours for someone to pickup, someone picked up and hung up.
I have purchased many tickets from this company but I will never buy from them again. The service is terrible.

My flight back home was refunded without my consent or knowledge
I recently purchased a home and wanted to cancel the 3 week family vacation I had planned to El Salvador from San Francisco to save money for our new home. Although I purchased the insurance, CHEAPO AIR stated that I could not cancel my trip or get a credit and my request was denied. So my family and I ended up having to go on the trip to avoid losing $3,000. The amount we paid for the tickets for a family of 5. It’s currently 5 days before my family and I are supposed to fly back home and I just found out our flights have been cancelled! Cheapo air has stated that they refunded $100 per ticket per my request for cancellation. This is completely absorb. There is no way I would’ve cancelled my flights back home already being out of the country and I have nothing refunded on my credit card. I have spent over 4 hours on two separate calls trying to make them see what a big mistake this was. The staff there keep stating I requested this and there is nothing they can do, they are also blaming the airline and have hung up on me twice. This amount of stress and anxiety this is causing myself and my family is too much. I need this resolved ASAP

My flights were never confirmed, a refund request was raised 6 weeks back and I have still not received the refund.
Below are the snapshots of the mails I received from Mr Stefan (cheapoair waivers team)
First mail was on May 3rd saying that refund is in process, again I received a mail on June 7th saying the refund is still in process.
It has been more than 6 weeks and there is no resolution, and my money is stuck with cheapoair for no fault of mine.
Mr Stefan (From cheapoair waivers team) says you can contact me any time for the update on the refund process, but he has not provided his number.
Desired outcome: I need the full refund of the amount i have paid to cheapoair, including the amount i paid for preferred seats.
Bought airline ticket with Cheap O air and was not aloud to fly because my name did not appear in the flying list
I bought my airline tickets for a trip from Boston to Mexico and when I got to the airport they told me my name was not on the list so they didn't let me fly.
I lost my flight and so did my granddaughter who actually was on the flying list but as she is a minor she couldn't travel either.
We had to spend 5 hours on the phone at 4 am as the people working at Delta that morning kept telling us they couldn't do anything for us because we bought our ticket through a travel agency "Cheap Oair".
After losing our flight I called directly to Delta and they told me that because it was a flight-sharing code with Aeromexico Airlines, I needed to call them. Delta could not help us in fact were trying to make us buy new tickets as we had already lost our flights... RIDICULOUS!
I called Aeromexico... by that time we have been so far 5 hours at the airport already trying to solve the problem and after arguing with them they changed our flights to the following morning which made us have to stay in a hotel nearby the airport and spend $400 US extra we were not considering and buy all meals for the day.
We are really disappointed in the bad customer service experience from Cheap Oair and Delta at the moment.
We need reimbursement of some sort for the hotel night we did not need and the meals at least.

Refund/cancel order
on 03/15/22 I purchased a travel package for $692.40 hotel and flight. I never went on the trip and I tried to cancel it multiple times. I've just been getting the run around. I already paid $242.43. I need Cheapoair to refund the remaining balance of the loan back to affirm which is $484.86 I am not willing to pay that as again I unfortunately did not make the trip, I tried my hardest to get there and life happens I missed my flight twice. I should not be penalized for this, I tried calling over 20 times cheap o air, the hotel, and the airline, they all were no help and kept giving me the run around. They actually even charged me $84 to change flights on top of the $692. I just want this to be over with I want cheap o air to refund the loan that affirm granted back to them. I shouldn't be charged for this. I've been dealing with a death in my family, funeral arrangements, etc. and this extra stress on top of what I'm already dealing with is causing me anxiety please help Order # 7510431

No refund, nonexistent customer service
I had purchased 3 tickets to fly to Japan in November of 2021. Due to covid, Japan closer their borders to all tourism and I had to cancel the flights. We were told a refund was not possible but that they would give credits.
My other 2 passengers no longer wish to fly anywhere and I willbe flying later this year. Cheapoair cannot roll the amounts of all 3 tickets into one. After multiple calls to Lufthansa, they did not do as they said (refunding the 2 tickets) and told me to contact cheapoair.
I have attempted at least 2 dozen calls to cheapoair and I think 5 of my last 6 calls, I was either hung up on, or a representative answered, left the phone off the hook(I could hear them in the background) and then ended the call without discussing my issue. It's almost like they don't want to resolve it and are doing anything they can to retain my money which I still haven't flown or been able to use the money I paid.
I'm not going to sit here and let a travel agency take $3000 of my money and not provide me a service for it.
Every time I call, I get an international call center, and am never able to speak with a representative in my country. This is extremely frustrating as the call center reps have almost no power to accomplish anything.
Desired outcome: I would like the amount of my 2 additional passengers tickets either refunded to me directly, or all least credited to my account with cheapoair so that I may use all of the funds for a singke ticket. I originally paid for all 3 tickets.

Cancellation of Flights
Had flights to go from New Plymouth, New Zealand to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Due to bad weather, domestic flights from New Plymouth to Auckland were cancelled and no more flights going to Auckland for the day (as all are cancelled). Tried to cancel our remaining tickets to have insurance cover and we can re book at a later time. Was put on hold for 5 HOURS! Still no help or assistance. Was hung up on 3 times. Why can't anyone simply help us to cancel the tickets. Was meant to have our tickets cancelled 20 minutes ago but again, unsuccessful. Extremely disappointed and frustrated with this service. Never in my life has service been so poor, slow and disgusting.

This booking was orininally made in December 2021. After a long series of events, Cheapoair agreed to make a partial refund of $782. The refund was in two components - $35 and $746.27. I have received the first component. The second component $746.27 has not been received. It was sent by an agent Russ to my old credit card which had been closed for some time. I complained that this was an old card but Russ claimed that was all he could do. I have since learned from Cheapoair that Russ was wrong - the refund could have gone to my current card.
Cheapoair has written that there has been a full refund but $746.27 is missing. They have not responded to my questions/complaints. I need help.

This place is scam. Do not purchase anything from them, the reps are in India at their houses, when you ask for a manager they'll put you on hold for 2 hours and then hang up. No accountability. No manager to speak to. Theyll tell you the ticket is fully refundable- wont disclose the 24 hour refund policy, that's how they get you. That was no disclosed to me. I called 48 hours after booking to cancel and was told i couldn't get a refund, spent the next 3 hours (4 separate phone calls, multiple different reps) trying to get to a manager. I have them on a recorded line lying about their employee ID number, and refusing to tell me the address to their HQ in NY. Worst experience. Never again will i use this illegal company. Ill take them to small claims court for my refund, hourly wage and court fees. Luckily were lawyers. If you KNOW your going to keep the flight it may not be so bad but ifg you need any sort of help, your more likely to get action from the unemployment agency

I booked a flight from Manila to Vancouver via CheapOair online. It is an international flight with a layover in Incheon Korea and Narita in Japan. However, I was not allowed to board the by Asiana Airlines because the connecting flight is a local/domestic flight from Korea to Japan. Jeju airways flight 11006 is not an international connecting flight. Due to this, I need to pass immigration of South Korea in order to get a boarding pass and board Jeju Airways flight 11006. Since I do not have a South Korean Visa, and Asiana confirmed that I will never be allowed to pass immigration, so we were not allowed to board Asiana Airlines. How in the world would I know that Jeju flight 11006 is a domestic flight? I even called your customer service to confirm my flight and send me a copy of the itinerary, but I was not told that what I booked was a domestic flight.
My complaint is, aside from the time and effort that was wasted due to this fiasco, it is also very hard to cancel the remaining flights when I tried to call your customer service. I am a long-time customer of Cheapoair and I have been using your website since 2016. I have so much trust in your company so much, that even though my May 31, 2022 (booking# [protected]), was canceled due to the fact that we do not have a US visa. Booked a connecting fight within Canada through CheapOair.
Airline cancelled the first flight, I was on the phone for hours attempting to reach a human from the scheduling changes department and could not get through at all. The customer service reps were friendly who handled my initial calls and then connected me to the next department but there seems to be no one available at all times as my phone call goes into a request to complete a survey where I can choose option 1 or 2 and then hangs up. I must have called 6-7 times trying to get through, this is delaying my trip to reschedule as CheapOair has no customer service to handle these calls.
I paid additional costs to have flight changes possible and can not even do this.
This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. You have front line customer service reps and even they don't know what is going on with your Scheduling Department, or has an direct number they could provide.
I waited an for an hour and 25 minutes each time I was on hold and basically lost time to reschedule. Apparently this department is open from 8am-2am and that does not seem to be the case as I called around 11pm and tried to get through until 2am.
Desired outcome: I am requesting a full refund as Cheapoair is unable to offer the service I paid for CHANGEABLE TICKET option.

My credit card statement shows that on March 22, 2022 a payment of $131.99 was made. On March 23, 2023 $32.75 was also charged. Both are duplicate charges for an existing flight. Kindly refund the above 2 duplicate amounts.

When I looked at my other bookings there seemed to be two other return flights fro Auckland to Bali.

I did try to book other flights but the CheapOair Website said that these were now unavailable and I should find other flights.
I am aware that this is a problem that other people have experienced and Customer Service were not very effective, I am hoping that this will not be the case on this occasion.
