This hotel needs to be removed from Cheapoair's page. The hotel is in bankruptcy's. The board of health has shut down the pools. There was no where to swim for us on the property except the Lazy River. Could not swim in it.
The resort stated 2 indoor 9 outdoor pools however none were opened. You should protect us. We are the consumer and pay your salary.
Mold everywhere in the resort. I cannot upload enough photo to show you.Mold all over the ceiling in our room. Also around air conditioner plug. The floors were filthy. I do not know when the baseboards were last cleaned. Filthy, rusted, moldy refrigerator. No phone in room. Rusted coffee pot. Unusable advertised services from the resort.Unsafe doors to room. One half inch opening around door. Lock barely held the door. Had to leave TV on all day so no one would enter.
Took us two hours to check in at night. We were two 66 year old women traveling alone. The first room was on the the fourth floor and elevator did not work. No lights outside to light up the area and the room was right next to busy road. We could not enter the room because the chain was on from the inside. Had to walk back in the dark, wait and get another room. We arrived at 10:30pm and did not get in our awful next room till12:45 am.
This room was not any better. Unusable pools, no restaurant, no pool use over Labor Day weekend. This was worse than any third world hotel I ever stayed in. I travel a lot and have never used cheapoair and will not again.There were so many cigarette holes in the curtains you could stars.
Thank God we wore masques on the plane as we had to sleep with them on at night because of the mold siituation. We kept our masque on while in room. Could not make coffee or use the refrigerator so we had to eat out the whole time which was never our intention.
I am going to my doctor because I have not been able to stop coughing since my arrival home. I am worried I caught something from the dangerous black mold.
I want all my money back. This was the worst travel experience of my life and I have visited 4 continents.

Sorry. The hotel was The Sea Mist Oceanfront Resort in Myrtle Beach. It was book as a package deal though CheapOair a third party site. The hotel said I had to deal with Cheapoair. CheapOair told me that I should have investigated better since the resort was only a two star resort. This rating was not shown anywhere on Cheapoair's website.I was told by Cheapoair that they could book me into another 2 star hotel further in the the bad area of Myrtle. We know this because we had driven around previously and investigated.What information do you need to located my reservation please. I will provide it. Thanks so much
