I was at the Vincent Park branch on 11/07/2024 to buy a few things, wanted to split my payment to part WiCode and part card.
Generated the code from my app, put in the code over three times as per the cashier because it kept on declining, until I told the cashier I'll pay the whole balance off with my bank card.
On my way home, I received a notification telling me that I had redeemed the balance from my Wallet.
Phoned the store when I got home to inform them of this error, I was told to wait until the next day for reconciliation which I had no problem with as I also thought it would reverse back after 24hrs
From the 12th of July to date, my query is still not resolved. The store keeps promising on calling me which they never do until I follow up, when I ask for the manager, it's always "she just went out". It's too much of a coincidence that everytime I phone, they just stepped out of the store! This has become an inconvenience for me because I've spent more than what is owed to me only on airtime phoning the store!
All I required from the store was decent communication and honesty that they don't know how to resolve this matter and I would've left it because it is not a huge amount, but now due to their incompetence, I want my refund ASAP!
