I have always been big fan of Chipotle food and have eaten has various ourlets here in VA and DC area. However, this specific out of Chipotle at George Mason University, VA is being deteriorated a lot. They serve very less quantity of each item. I have to literally just beg the each time to put some more more and more of each item I ask for. I do not get what I pay for. I have had experiences at many other Chipotle outlets and I know what quantity is in general served.
bad service, attitude and no care with food prep

Started out normal, asked for a bowl rice no beans, extra rice all well, then the meat question...I said stake, she repeated steak, then I moved over and she left my bowl by the meat and turned to co-worker and said that all you, or something like it, so-worker walked away, so she continues with my bowl but puts chicken instead. I said politely, sorry I said stake, that's when it all went down hill. She said oh I can't hear you too well sounded like chicken, rudely already...I said OK please steak, I had chicken here yesterday today is steak...I tried to move on and make it no big deal, that's when she starred to say she couldn't hear me about everything I asked for after and made me scream everything else once and twice and made me feel like I was the problem. Then the cashier continued the miss treatment by glaring and being short and unpleasant and when I asked for my tortilla on the side which was left behind by the warmers, the food prep person slid it aggressively all across to the counter. I love Chipotle and I have never been treated so bad. Also the bowl was terrible, she stabbed a huge spoon of mild sauce angrily and did the same with all ingredients. Horrible and disturbing. I never had to complain this way.

I had to wait 10 minutes for the rice to be cooked when it finally was ready the girl was rude she barely gave me any steak at all so I asked her to add some more and she rolled her eyes at me and said I can't give you any more and then I was charged $8 for barely any steak and a few spoonfuls of rice after I waited 10 minutes and I'm now late for work
burrito bowl
Hello, I just wanted to send this complaint so it will be enforced to make sure no hair gets in the food. I went to Chipotle yesterday in New York Long Island Hicksville and I ordered a burrito bowl with loads of stuff on it. I brought it home to start eating with my friends. Then I unfortunately saw a long strand of hair in my burrito bowl. I would just like to be emailed a discount or free bowl/burrito because, it's honestly ridiculous that there was hair in my bowl.
have not received refund
I was charged on Feb. 23rd and had talked to the manager at the North Rock location in Wichita, KS to get my full refund due to canceling my order. She took all my information and told me it would be given to the correct department. Here it is March 8th and I have received no communication or my refund. There is no reason for this! I feel I have given plenty of time to resolve this situation.

I know this is a fast pace establishment. The blonde heavy set guy taking care of our order did a fantastic job for servicing the customer to the best of his ability. The staff behind him that doesn't have much contact with customers however aren't very ample at their job. People constantly grabbing over this poor gentleman and management on their phones or not paying attention. This all lead to a 15 minute wait. This employee calling constantly for things running low and letting customers know they're working on getting steak cut. All the while getting no confirmation that support is inbound. A young lady working around him to fill online orders decreasing his supplies even further and leaving him nothing to tend to customers who are already there. And then getting told to tend to customers first before online orders. Kind of ironic, irritating and a good example of poor management/team work. Now the young blonde man has been booted from his position to no fault of his own. And management is finally interfering and operating the line. A surprisingly untrained staff handling the store today.
refusal of service
Drove to chipotle and arrived approximately 11:00 am Saturday, March 3rd. When I tried to go in, the doors were locked, no sign on the door, only the regular store hours from 10:45am-11:00pm. There were multiple employee staff members inside just looking back at me. Didn't open the door or even try to care to explain why the doors were still locked 15 minutes after opening time. Every time I am in here the staff is usually very disrespectful, rude, and rushes the customers along. Makes the experience very unenjoyable and honestly not want to even come back to this chipotle.
bug in food
When I ordered a chicken-steak bowl to go in the restaurant and took home my food, I finished about a quarter of my food before I moved the lettuce to find a medium sized bug hidden underneath. I went back to chipotle and all I got was a replacement meal but I would have preferred to be compensated for the effort of taking useless time to refund my meal.

My husband and I came to chipotle store #2851 in The Colony, TX tonight for dinner when we finally got to our turn we noticed the fajita veggies and brown rice were almost done. We asked the young lady if they were making more so we would wait. There was a woman cooking so the girl serving went up to her to ask how long it would take to make the food . She replied in Spanish that she was making chicken and looked at us and rolled her eyes. I told the lady we were waiting for the fajita veggies and rice. She then told the server to give us plain rice without cilantro. She completely ignored us and when we asked for a manager the server said she was the manager. I've never experienced such disrespect in my life. My husband and I always come to chipotle and have good service but tonight was very off putting. She is definitely not fit for your company much less a manager position. I definitely will be calling the corporate office because that kind of disrespect should never happen.

They play a song that completely promotes murder! While I was sitting down trying to eat my burrito and trying to stay positive because life is already hard enough. I kept hearing this song using the word MURDER over and over again! Worst choice for a song to play while I go into a large corporate food chain. You wanna keep my business. Dont promote MURDER in your establishment! EASY NOT TO DO! TAKE IT OFF THE PLAYLIST NOW! IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS ITS OFFENSIVE> TAKE. IT. OFF!

i Walked into chipotle with my fiancé today and was excited to get a steak burrito that I had been craving all day now when we walked in there was a couple of people ahead of us and only 1 person on the line and nobody else in sight so when she got to me I asked her for a burrito and she gave me a dirty look then she asked what kind of rice and i said white she tried to give me half a spoon of rice and I asked for more and again she looked at me with this dirty look now when we got to the meats I said steak and she gave me way less than the portion amount I asked for double now when I said that she gave me another small spoon again not the right portion size so I asked her if she could give me more than she said if I give you more it will be extra with a very nasty attitude and tone in her voice now so I said u know what it's fine now by this time more workers including the manager came out from the back and started helping watching the way she was acting she continued her attitude thru the salsas and my fiancé beside me had asked for steak and they did the same to him except now it was a male we were over charged and the steak was over cooked and the rice was undercooked it was horrible I have never ever in my life had such a bad experience at any chipotle that was the worst customer service I have ever encountered I will never return to that location and I hope that you guys let them know that I have worked customer service before I actually worked in a restaurantuer restaurant and this restaurant is not up to chipotle's high standards i am very disappointed

Now about the double steak situation, I see it myself, when I ask for double steak up front, I get 1 and 1/3 steak, never once gotten double, when I ask for just steak then they are done I say, u know that? double that steak up, 99% of the time, they throw 2 more pieces in there, then I say, excuse me, I asked for double steak, if you want me to pay the extra 4 dollars, you need to double up, not a single portion plus 2 tiny pieces, yes they get pissy but they do it anyways.
I had bad experience with uneducated rude people at Chipotle myself, you just need to be calm and put them in their place in a nice way, you can say, excuse me, I dont need your attitude, make my food they way I asked and lets leave it at that, if they [censor] then you can tell them to shut the [censor] up and finish the order before you jump over the counter and [censor] them in the [censor] in front of every one
A. Learn some freaking punctuation! Your complaint is one long run-on sentence.
B. You do not need to say "now" before every new thought.
C. If you want extra meat on your burrito, pay for it. Workers can get in trouble for giving away free food just because someone is being [censor] and whiny.
extreme poor service
About a month ago I went to chipotle in peninsula town center, Hampton, VA. To give some back story I have been a die hard chipotle fan since opening, I used to get it religiously and even have the app. When I went to this chipotle, the workers weren't so welcoming as usual. Didn't bug me much, until it came to my food. I had ordered just a burrito to go, came to order my protein, and I was told to wait in the back of line because the protein I wanted wasn't ready. Which was no big deal for me, until the entire line behind me had passed me. And I had been waiting for 10 minutes when I was only told a few. Once the protein was ready, the woman called forward 3 other people who had wanted to same kind, so I continued to wait in the back. At this point I'm pretty infuriated, waited 20 minutes at this point just to get some protein on my burrito. Finally, when I was called up, the worker was super rude, and put not even a half scoop on my burrito. When I asked for more, she rolled her eyes. Then quickly tried getting me out there. At checkout, the woman could tell I was livid and had the nerve to ask how my service was, which was terrible.
Today, I did an online order to avoid dealing with this again, I pick up both me and my boyfriends burritos, and they were absolutely terrible and ice cold. Like they had been sitting for 45 minutes or in a fridge. I couldn't even finish mine. Ive always loved chipotle but I will no longer be giving my business here. This wasn't my first rodeo with the poor service here, I had even previously posted a review and other people online had even agreed they'd not be bringing their business here. Between the rude people, stinginess, and poor hospitality. You could even feel the tension between workers being annoyed with each other. I will not be returning.
burritos
I ordered 3 burritos and the tortilla and rice were hard, the workers didn't roll them, and when we opened them, there was sour cream pouring out of the sides all over. The workers seemed to not care very much about our food. There was not many people here or in line either, but they seemed as if they were ina rush to get our food rolled and get us out of there.
uncooked rice not very appetizing
Very disappointing, my family eats at the Suwanee Chipotle at least once every other week ($40), on 1/18 we ordered two veggie bowls and chips $13. We get home and started eating to find out the rice was not fully cooked, called and spoke with a gentleman and gave him my name and he said hold on to your receipt and we'll replace the order. Go into today 2/1, speak with lady that tells me we have no record of your name and the man does not recall this happening. I explained that we eat here regularly, I'm not trying to cheat you out of $13 bucks. It sounds like Chipotle does not honor there word, make sure you confirm and reconfirm they take your name. I will never ever eat at this location again and female Manager was rather nasty about it as I showed her the receipt in hand. Poor customer service over $13 dollars...wow!
guacamole
At work we ordered online...I ordered guacamole on my bowl and this is what they thought was appropriate. This is disgusting and needs to be addressed. Chipotle charges extra for the guacamole and I'd like to know who allowed it to be placed on my food and what other patrons have said about it. I would like correspondence about how this is being addressed.
food poisoning
Today (January 26, 2018) marks the third time I have gotten food poisoning from this ridiculous company. I got food poisoning from them back in 2014, then I got E. coli from them back in 2016 and now I have food poisoning again. These ignorant employees do not know how to handle food properly. NEVER again will I eat at this establishment. I understand that accidents do happen, but for a company like this who has a history of an E. coli outbreak should be more strict with their training. I hope this company goes out of business. Unless you want to be [censor] your brains out on the toilet while throwing up in a waste basket for 48 hours then you should go somewhere else. Perhaps maybe a dumpster because its probably better for you and not overpriced!
store manager
I was hired in October of 2017 and was told by Abdeel the store manager I would be full time. That did not happen. I was treated harshly on my first week of work for not measuring up to someone whose worked there for 7 Years. I was blamed for things that didn't happen on my shift. I was even injured on the job and continued to work there. When I asked for a transfer 2 weeks before I moved so I could be at a more reachable location I was given a hostile attitude. I was not given the transfer as if the manager wanted to keep me in his clutches, I was fired for not being able to make it to work for that one day. I went above and beyond for this company and was not given fair treatment like an employee should be. This manager is a bad representation of Chipotle because he treats employees like pieces of expendable meat. I would like to speak with someone who has say so because I like the company but I know when I am being discriminated against and mistreated.

I went in for dinner at chiptotle on Eddy street, Notre Dame IN and was treated terribly. I asked for a bowl to go and the young woman asked what type of rice I wanted. When I said brown, which was running low, she rolled her eyes and slammed down the bowl. The next woman asked what type of meat I wanted, when I responded only veggies, she too rolled her eyes and rudely said what else do you want?! I was caught very off gaurd seeing as though I was smiling and using appropriate manners. I'm thoroughly disappointed and feel as if they were annoyed by my presence. I hope that management is able to prevent any other customers from being disrespected in this way and I will be sure to avoid chipotle until their employees learn to respect people.
smaller portions, higher prices
I live in New York. I used to love going to Chipotle, and would go often. Increasing prices and severely diminished portion sizes have convinced me they are not the restaurant they once were. I should never have to ask for more LETTUCE when ordering a salad. Very disappointing. I believe others have taken issue with this as well since they used to have lines out the door, and now have a 10 second wait during the lunchtime rush.
burrito bowls north miami beach
I consitantly Am over paying for a bowl, everytime I go to the chipolete location in North Miami Beach, Fl. I get a small scoop of brown rice and I ask for a half and half chicking and barbacoa. At most its about maybe six pieces and chicken and a a small amount of barbacoa. We as customers pay 9-12 dollars a plate and we are getting less than what we pay for. It seems the managers clearly tell the employees to put alot so they can save money and get more bonuses for thier pockets cutting food cost. This is unfair because we are paying customers and we get cheated out our food for the convinence of the store profits. I have made it a commitment to stop my fanily from going to chipolete because I do not any change and this is not the only store it happens at.
