Citibank Credit card

I received a text from Citibank stating my credit card payment was past due. I reviewed my online banking account payment was sent 3/17 paid on the 20th same date payment is due. When I reviewed my account at Citibank it required a payment, I inadvertently sent the requested payment. I have been trying to contact the customer service to no avail for the last seven days, after a certain time of holding it automatically disconnects. Today I received a letter stating I have a past due balance threating it could jeopardize my privileges, encouraging me to CALL NOW. I called not once but twice only to get disconnected. How dare you Citibank. As a banker myself I will report you to the regulators.

Citibank Coronavirus assistance

Why in the world is Citibank doing NOTHING for its credit card customers other than waiving a late fee ($35) during the Coronavirus Pandemic?

All other credit card, insurance, mortgage companies are offering forbearance or deferral for a month or two with no interest or late fees, or something of substance?

Citibank is using this as an opportunity to show how much they dislike their credit card customers.

Absolutely awful by Citibank!

Citibank been trying to contact citi cards by phone or chat through website since 20 March.

It appears that either their phone system is down or everyone was dismissed due to virus.

Citibank deactivation of credit card

I have 2 credit cards from citibank that I wanted to deactivate unfortunately, I no longer live in the Philippines for more than 3 years now. I no longer use and no longer need my credit cards that's why I tried to cancel it when I visited the Philippines last January. I called their hotline maybe 5 to 8 times. I was redirected to different people who were not able to help me at all. I am now back in the US and still finding a way to cancel my cards cause I dont want to be charged another annual fee this year. I tried their online chat support, but they were not able to help as well. I was advised to do it via an online account which I dont have. I didnt have an account because when I was trying to register for one, I was required to provide the registered mobile number connected to my credit cards which has long been deactivated since Iam no longer in the Philippines. This is frustrating because I keep on paying the annual fee of both cards which I no longer use.

Citibank absolutely awful!

Back in November I cancelled my credit card. I have been with City Bank AT & T Universl Card - Platinum Card - over 10 years. I cancelled my card due to a recurring charge that will not go away. After I cancelled my card fully paid, City bank allowed the charge to go thru. They allowed a charge and then on top of that they charged me late fees for months. I called them to dispute the charge - I spoke to 3 people - explaining all the details - no regard. they said I have to pay all the charges or it will continue to increase. I asked to speak to management and they said they are not available for my dispute and unfortunately their system will not allow to credit any charge fees. I just have to pay the full amount.
I'm 84 years old. Living on social security. This is the payback from being a loyal customer for over 10 years. The nonsense they come up with in marketing for loyalty programs its all a slap in a face at the end. There is no customer service.

I will make sure all my friends and family and social media finds out how disgusting they run their business.

Citibank late payment removal due to the unusual situation

Dear Complaint Members at Citi Bank Organization,
Subject: Constant Insufficient Money and $35 Penalty in My Citi Bank Account Due to the Negative Effects of the Replacing Soviet's Health Professional (Physician Assistant) Job with the Actual American Graduate Medical Doctors

Issue That I Discussed with the United States Government Regarding Constantly Having Financial Disaster with Lack of Job to Practice Medicine in the United States

My personal experience is very similar to what I found later on about strange behavior that Polish community experiencing by some paramedics made decisions to do not pick up Polish elders to the Emergency room in Poland (Dr. Masziak, Professor of hab, Lublin., and the Head of Psychiatric in Lublin, Poland) regarding the Soviet type of health care relates to the time that me, my mother, and a neighbor picked up my father to the Emergency Room in the main Hospital of the city of Bandar Pahlavi (Gilan, Iran), while there was no Physician appeared to check up my father when we arrived in the hospital, and after 15-20 minutes losing time there was a physician who showed up with the bad news. The incident of losing my father on that day motivated me to become a physician in that time. On the other hand, when the dream of becoming a Physician by the United States and Poland became true (2009-2015), I noticed that the one who appeared as a medical doctor could not be a medical doctor, but the Soviet type of health professional (Physician Assistant) who might purposely showed up late since my father was a Police officer (Immigration Police Officer with One Star) in that time. To avoid such misunderstandings and for protecting the loving Polish people to do not face with not trusting those with worst intentions and history against Poland, one humble idea for the great Polish government would be to use the actual European graduate medical doctors from the Polish graduate doctors or other European graduate medical doctors to make sure they the loving Polish people receive the most acceptable type of health care in Poland. I also noticed that the same group of the Soviet type of health professionals (Physician Assistants) are very protective and feeling responsible regarding those patients with the Soviet background, while they have fewer interests to provide full service with every other population in the United States. Recently, I discovered a new fact which I believe this could be the main cause of misinterpretation regarding shortages of the medical doctors in Poland that I wish the Great Polish Government to investigate a possible few Soviet Medical Doctors (Belarusian-Polish Learned Language Individuals) who might be left Poland by leaving multiple signatures for the Physician Assistant working under his responsibility (e.g., One Soviet Medical Doctor who might left 50, 100, or more signatures for the other young Soviets to misrepresent as health professionals in Poland) in Poland.

Review:

The course "Physician Assistant" is the Soviet career (Abbasi & Salehnia, 2013; Aghajanian & Merhyar, 1999; Feldshare, 2019; Ramer, 2018), has no credentials to be called doctor, no backgrounds or intention to become a doctor, and we have several unusualities in the United States as well by group of strange people (the Belarusian English-Learned Soviet) using the American social media to vote against Vaccine to make our society become volnurable for catching every possible diseases that only the society type of one year schooling and one year shadowing a doctor could create such a disaster with the name of social morality or I call punishing the Western society through our health service. Moreover, failure to create academic testing by the NBME (Kaplan & Saccuzo, 2013) which cause the American graduate medical doctors constantly fail can be related to what Soviets is planning regarding health socity of the United States and allies.

Citibank Lowered my limit and reported to Experian 1/4/20

I received this info from experian credit report on 1/4/20
I don't understand why it was "lowered" when i've always paid on time and it has a $0 balance. I was informed this would negatively affect my credit rating. I don't care that the limit was lowered but I don't want false negative influences on my credit report.

Citibank citi double cash card

I have an open dispute D-[protected] and while there is "...Thanks for getting back to us with more information about your case. It's all under review, and we'll be in touch shortly..." on "tracking dispute" online page, Citicards dispute dept reps during recorded calls refuse to admit that they opened the dispute by themselves during the conference call with CMS Medicare on 11/27/19 in despite of my objections, assuring me that everything will be OK and taken care of. Now Citi reps are threatening verbally to simply close my dispute unless I provide something in writing. I've provided the CMS letter which is not listing the disputed payment of $542 among all payments received. Citicards does absolutely nothing to resolve the issue. Please, help.

Citibank credit card

hello Sir,
I have a credit card account with Citi here with USA which i signed up through COSTCO.

It came to my notice about i am getting charged about payment delay right from Sept onward. I tried to talk to customer service about this back in Oct / Nov.
1. First time i spoke, and i tried to getting supervisor also involved. Answer this time i got was, they cannot disclose anything, and they are preparing some document, which they will send to me, which will take 1-2 weeks.
2. I spoke to customer service representative one more time, that time she only asked me about if my account is hacked or so, or it's doing fine.
3. I spoke today, which i came to know today only about due to some $1.XX which i didnt pay during Sept, they started to charge me extra 31.91 every month, which is so far going on.

They do not want to cancel this ongoing thing, as i had already paid some extra once, nothing should be asked there on.

I am requesting you to look in this, as this isnt i feel appropriate, and i am feeling getting exploited by CITI.

Please do the needful.

Citibank citibusiness

CitiBusiness is full of people that racially profile African Americans citizens. I was a victim of scam and reported it to their fraud department. Once they heard my voice, they did everything but helped me. It seemed like they were trying to help the person that scammed me by making sure I do not have access to the information that I asked for/ needed in order to get my money back from the scammer. Under 2 days I was surprised that when I called to follow up, they told me that the case was closed. They said that they investigated the case and were unable to retrieve the money from the scammer because the person withdrew all of the money from their account. I asked them to send me a document in writing stating what they told me orally because a place I filed a complaint asked me to upload proof of what my bank said because the scammer was giving contradictory information. I called CitiBusiness Fraud department several times and was given different conflicting information every time. I spoke to several different staff eg. Janette with code TRT071 who is the manager of the fraud department, Rosa TRT012, Rosa TRT017, James who is the supervisor of the customer service department. They all gave contradictory information that does not match what the person before said, which is a proof of bias. This bank has racist employees that discriminates and preys on against African Americans. They run the bank like a prison facility when it comes to African American customers. They are not trustworthy, and I urge any African American individual/ entrepreneur who wants to establish any account with Citibank to consider other banks. Most of their staff are Hispanic Americans, who are totally biased and have nothing but natural hatred and disrespect against African American people. When you complain about racial profiling or racial intimidation, in order to make the racial aspect disappear, they will counter you by bringing the one black staff they have on the phone, who will further intimidate you by saying they themselves are black and continue harassing you. This is the new Jim Crow. CitiBank is trying to make the claims of racial profiling go away by any means necessary. I urge you to look into other banks.

Citibank credit card

Despicable company! Do not under any circumstances apply for credit with this creditor. We applied for credit to purchase furniture and the furniture arrived damaged and incomplete. Then when we reported this to Citibank, out of their passive-aggressive nature, they requested our tax information for a small credit limit or they would close the account within 30 days of their letter. We immediately requested for our account to be closed via phone and in writing before the 30 days. We no longer wanted to do any further business with the furniture store. Then to add more insult to injury, they continuously reported that they closed our account which has impacted our credit scores. We have disputed this with all credit bureaus to no avail. Citibank needs to be shut down for shady and unprofessional business practices.

Citibank blocked account

My name is Yixuan Mao. My checking and saving accounts have been blocked and need to verify my address. I moved in this June so my current address is different from the address when I open the account. I already contacted the customer service for more than 10 times, but the representatives are not skilled enough that almost every time I called, I get a different solution. I have faxed my documents for 4 times, but nether of them were received. Then, I mailed the same documents twice, which were delivered on 10/21/2019 and 11/6/2019. However, when I called Citi Customer Service, the representative told me that my document was rejected due to address mismatch and Citi didn't receive any document for my current address. The fact is that I mailed documents for both my old and current address and they are in the same package. So, I cannot understand why they can only see one of the documents I mailed. My account is still blocked until now and this seriously affect my ability to pay my bills.

Citibank unethical and inexplicable policies

This is literally the first time I have ever gone online and flamed a company because I have other things to do with my time but this is just a warning to other people who ever need access to, like, their own money that is in their account, because if you deposit a mobile check, they will block your entire account. Even if you (as I do) have hundreds of dollars in the account aside from the pending check. They block your debit card, your online access, everything. And customer service refuses to do anything about it. So, even though I have hundreds of dollars in my checking account, I made the grievous error of using a service they offer for my supposed convenience (online deposit), and now I am helpless. Can't take money out, can't use my card, can't put gas in my car or buy groceries or pay bills, all because I deposited money into my account. I have never experienced a more absurd policy in my life. I understand holding funds on a check, but why the * can't I access the other money in the account? Why the * can't I log in to my account? This is so unacceptable it's surreal. I am a teacher and artist living on limited funds, and I can't just "wait 48 hours" for a goddamn check to clear when I have my money already sitting in the account. Customer service agents, of whom I have talked to at least five today, are unable to do a single thing. Just robotically repeat "that's the process" [censored] this process. You are putting my life on hold because I put money in your bank.in what world does that make sense?

Citibank credit cards

On 11/01 @ 9:38 am I submitted a payment for 1796.63 which made me have a zero balance. On 11/01 @ 12:00 pm. I received an emsil stating the following:
There was a review of your account and credit informstion. As a result, we have revised the credit limit to $500. The decision was based on a delinquent credit obligation either paid or unpaid account or another creditor. Your account balance is 1796.63. I have never been 30 days lste on any of payments to creditors. After speaking to 4 representatives i was informed because i made a payment 3 days late this action was taken. Secondly i was informed i had to resubmit my information to see if i would qualify for my original balance. Needless to say i requested that my account be closed. I was appalled by the treatment i received from Citibank as if i wasn't a value customer. Which i didn't understand because i received a preapproval letter. I asking my family and friends along with social media not to consider any credit products from your company. I just couldn't believe the treatment i recived. Hopefully your practice will improve in the future

Citibank I want my account closed and my money asap

I have photos and phone recordings. I opened a new checking and savings account around oct 7. I did not receive my debit card and was locked out of my online access around oct 18. I spent over 3 hours, hung up on 9 times and transferred multiple times trying to get access to my online account. I asked to close my savings and checking accounts immediately. I was told by 2 people that my account was closed and i would receive a check for 16, 000 7-10 days. I called again oct 31 and was told my account was still open but they could not help me to access it online and i had to call back before 5pm. I called back Nov 1 and asked again to close my account. I have not had access to my money since oct 18 and it has been held from me while i have been lied to about my account. I have phone recordings. I want my account closed and my 16, 000. I have reported to CFPB. PLEASE GIVE ME MY MONEY.

Citibank unauthorized transaction on credit card

I received a message on 31/10/2019 at 11:26PM stating that a transaction was made for AED3578.29 at Etc IVR 142. On complaining to the bank, my card was blocked and the matter will be investigated. Will I be made to pay this amount before the matter is resolved? How can Etisalat make a transaction without any authorization from me? Is this why we were made to give our credit card details before taking the mobile subscription?

Citibank online account access

I opened a savings and checking account totaling over 10, 000 and linked them to my current online credit card account. I was locked out of my account due to not receiving my debit card. I called 9 times / over 3 hours and kept getting transferred and hung up on october 21. I asked to have my checking and savings closed because i had linked them to my credit cards and could not access my credit cards because i could not access my checking until the debit card arrived. I finally got someone to unlink my credit cards so i could create an accessible account for them and still do not have access to the banking and savings account and Do not know what is going on with the money i have in them. The debit card arrived today and i am still unable to access the account with that info. The savings account and checking account has over 15, 000 and i have no way to access the account to know if they actually closed it. I don't know where my money is and have no access to it.
