I have been a Comcast customer for years. I ordered a IPhone 14 Pro last October, 2022, and received the wrong IPhone. I called customer service. Agent said no problem and requested I receive a return box with prepaid address label. He said I was qualified for a $400.00 credit on my IPhone purchase. He then transferred me to another agent to order a replacement phone. That agent verified I was to receive a $400.00 discount on my $1,200.00 purchase. He ordered the replacement phone.
I received the prepaid box to return the first phone and immediately mailed it. I received the correct IPhone quickly. Several days later I received an invoice for both phones and saw discount was not listed. I called Comcast and was told to disregard the invoice as the first phone had been received by Comcast and the credit for it was listed. I inquired about the quoted $400.00 discount and was told I did qualify for discount. I have been paying by auto payment through my bank to Comcast for internet and mobile cell service. (separately)
My cell bill did not indicate the discount (it is divided monthly) I called and spoke with a supervisor who said no one had told me I was to get the $400.00 discount. She said the program for the discounts had ended. I said my order was while the program was in effect. she then said she had no record of me calling about my order or my discount.
I had asked agents to email or message me confirming discounts but was told several times they could not do that. She repeated I had not qualified for the discount (even though I had been told by three agents that I qualified for the discount. She said I would not get the discount and kept repeating that many times. Disgusted I finally hung up.
I WANT THE $400.00 for my iPhone 14 Pro as three different Comcast cs people (agents)told me I was qualified to receive.
