Hair cut and customer service
I have two boys who have picture day tomorrow 9/26/22. I went to the Cost Cutters in the Northgate Plaza in Missoula Montana. I could not believe how rude the elderly lady was! She asked what we would like I said a tight fade with it blended to the top and she used a 1 and went all the way up to the middle of my sons head! She took 3 minutes total to do this haircut! Did not listen to anything that we requested. I’m planning on calling the manager on Tuesday when she will be in. My youngest had a haircut that he could probably do himself! Both haircuts were less than 5 minutes and were horrible. I’ve never seen anything so bad! The lady was rude and was impatient and acted like we were such a bother for her. She either hates her job or just likes making people feel miserable. My son cried after leaving this place! This lady needs to be removed from working with the public! Especially poor kiddos! I’m so upset
Desired outcome: I’d like my money back ($40)!!
Hair color
I went to cost cutters in Canton Ohio on Saturday August 20th. I have dark brown hair almost black and wanted to go auburn. I informed the lady that if she needed to bleach my hair that’s fine because my hair is healthy and I wash and condition my hair weekly. As she put the color on my hair she told me she could tell it was already turning lighter and that it was going to look really pretty. After 45 minutes she rinsed my hair and my hair looked darker then it original was. I was then told I would have to pay $210 to get a color correction and they would then bleach my hair to lighten it first. I told them I would rather not do that at this time. The lady then told me when I had enough money to come back and they could correct it. I ended up paying $80.00 and only my roots look a little lighter.
Pixe Cut and style
I call cost cutters first to see if they have any type of services for Pixe cuts and style. appointment was scheduled. my hair was shampoo blow dry flat iron and cut. Even though I showed the stylist a video of how I want my hair. The stylist cried and complained to another stylist in the shop stating he didn’t know what to do. My hair was cut never styled!
Desired outcome: I wasn’t satisfied at all ! I paid the full price ! I walked out the shop looking even worse than I came in! Very unprofessional
Apprentices
Cost cutters in Manitowoc Wisconsin. The COO as he calls himself Melvin Kessler has been running an apprenticeship even though they never legally got license by the Estate to have an apprenticeship until the second week of July. He’s had apprentices in there since May. He is also running an apprenticeship out of his Marinette Wisconsin store and after making a few calls to the state board they haven’t even been approved to have a apprenticeship program in the Marinette store. He also claims he has an education license and he’s been doing hair for 17 years but the fact is he’s 28 years old and is only been doing hair since 2016. These apprentices are actually working on real clients as they come into the salon. He is also not in the salon teaching the apprenticeships he comes in for two hours clocks in and clocks him self out on his own computer at home. He is very shady he has a liar and you cannot believe a thing he says. He also started A fight with the stylist at great clips online so the public could see the bickering back-and-forth. He is a disgrace to this company

Hair color
Went in On the July 27th for color- turned out nothing like I asked- my scalp and hair a burned and now my hair is falling out. The best they could do was refund my money but they ruined my already balayaged hair - which cost hundreds of dollars to achieve- more importantly my scalp and hair is ruined, breaking apart and falling out • I have yet to have anyone from my local salon reach out like they said they would- and the refund was never actually issued even tho they said it was. My scalp is still burning- from over processed hair - The district manager told the worker she would reach out and still has yet to even address the issue- Not like there is a corporate number to call and talk to an actual human either -
Desired outcome: Fix my hair and restore it to what it was when I went into the store -
Hair Color / at the Perryville store in Rockford,il
I told the girl i wanted sliver/gray dye in my hair she told me she would have to do a lift first to remove what dark hair was left I am almost grey . Then she put the hair dye application after she did the lift and after she rinsed me I was still looking like I had blonde hair , so the manger told her to put another application
on me but this time leave it on longer so she did what he told her mind you I found out this hair stylist is fresh out of beauty school by just a few mos. he up and tells her he is going to lunch and its just him and her running this store . she tells me she told him she wasn't comfortable doing colors . So that right there told me she was nervous he should have never left her I don't blame her she felt bad that it didn't take . so she did the second try and I sat there for a longer time

is what I left with they didn't charge me for the lift but still carge me for the color and hair cut which for 4 hrs of still no results I think is crazy ! then I got to my car and I seen the 2 of them laughing so I don't feel comfortable coming back next week to fix this problem so now what I want money back so I can go elsewhere ?

Color
I just had my hair colored. I wanted red, and it turned out PURPLE! My hair is a completely different color than I asked for. My hair is now purple instead of red I tried asking the manager multiple times if there is something we can work out, a $10 discount is all that she offered, when I mentioned I would not like to pay for the service and if we can please work something out she would not work with me at all. All three workers were arguing with me instead of hearing me out and seeing the truth. One worker got in my face and I asked her politely to get out of my face the other worker called me a b**** when I was leaving the building. The manager Melody threatened me with theft. It is my birthday weekend and now my hair is purple and dark. I have took many pictures for comparisons. I asked for her manager's number and she did not give it to me and she said she will have them contact me. I spent 3 hours of my time getting an all over color that is completely dark and purple. It is my birthday weekend and I had to cancel my dinner reservations due to this. The manager threatened me with theft so I would need someone to contact me as soon as possible. *****

My haircut
Yes today is May 14 2022 and at 5.00 today I went to Cost cutters in Cross Lanes West Virginia and the woman who did cut my hair did a horrible job I asked her not too cut it that short I specifically asked her not to but she did it anyways she cut my hair the way she wanted too not the way I wanted her too. I Will probably not leave my house untill it grows back a little bit that's how bad of a job she did and it wasn't right I even showed her a picture of what I wanted and she totally ignored it u would like something done about it
Desired outcome: She can't fix what she did but she needs too be held accountable for doing this to me
Service
Called for an after school appointment when I arrived Was not on the books. Was not even greeted had to get my own pen to sign in. Two girls working one was doing color and while customer was processing stood and talked to the other girl that was working. Another customer walked in with 2 children and was taken a head of me . When hairdresser was finished she proceeded to leave her station and walk out into Walmart this is when I had had enough and left! I don’t want a blue ribbon but have been going there since the salon opened but it really put me off because my cut was for a child and anyone with child knows to wait 40 minutes is like 24 hours. The one girl is very rude and short with everyone that came into the salon for a cut! I ending up going somewhere else !
Desired outcome: Left after 40 minutes and went to another salon.
lack of professionalism
The Cost Cutters in New Pointe Plaza in Clarksburg, WV is horrible. I tried to walk in to get a hair cut weeks ago, the hours on the door at that time said open at 8:00 a.m., no one was there. I tried again, and someone was there but there were no other customers there, and I was told I had to make an appointment online. So, I finally made an appointment online for 10:15 a.m. today, I get there around 10:05 a.m. to sign in, and NO ONE WAS THERE AGAIN! Supposedly, people were at the bank. Someone finally showed up, and I was finally able to get a hair cut but this is nuts. I did notice that the sign on the door now shows hours are at 9:00 a.m. but still. If they are not busy, why can they not take a walk in for haircuts especially for a guy. It doesn't take that long to cut most hair on men. Not everyone in the world has all this free time to waste for people to show up on time and do a job!
Desired outcome: They are "permitted" to take some walk in services. People show up and be there when they are supposed to be working!
Customer treatment
My husband and I went to the cost cutters at
2001 Glenn Blvd Sw, Fort Payne, AL 35968 ON 4/22/22.
We were there 10:30 to get hair cuts. The manager explained that they only had one stylist there but another stylish would be there in a half hour. She also said if I signed my name on the customer waiting list I could come back after shopping and would not have to wait because I was signed in and would be taken as soon as a stylist was available. My husband stayed and got a haircut. I went shopping. When I returned at 11:30 the stylist came out and I explained i was on the list and what I had been told buy the manager. The stylist was very disrespectful, didn't look me in the eye, talked over me to another customer and told her to get in her chair and that I had to wait. I left. I called the salon and talked to the manager and she assured me that the stylist should have taken me next. I ask her to file a complaint at thier corporate office.
Desired outcome: Stylist reprimanded
hilight and color
I went in on Wednesday of last week and got a toner and paid $25,it didnt give me much resukts, So i webt in this passed Friday to get Hilights and color. I paid $214.00 and now my hair is red,orange and white or silver. I wanted a golkden blondish brown. I couldn't really tell the color before leaving because they dont blow dry or style your hair even after paying that much for services.

Hair highlights
Went to cost cutters in North Olmsted Ohio about a little over a month ago, I had April do my daughters in my hair. She is not consistent, I went back for her to fix what she didn't do for my daughters highlighting and she still didn't do it right even though when I left I tipped her $20 just to have her do what she didn't do the first time. They are too busy for people to walk in and get haircuts where they tend to neglect you sitting there in the chair just to get the job done for somebody else. She starts highlighting from the back of my daughter shoulder length hair which left a whole front dark black roots which she didn't get done the first time that I mentioned. Called her on the phone to let her know I wasn't happy and she said she did the same thing as she did before and I had told her we will not be back and do you want to come in for a color on top of the highlighting. I never get color on top of my beautiful highlighting when it's done right, tried to call corporate office no answer and tried to get a hold of a manager district manager that is only to get another manager to tell me to go to another salon so they could see if they can fix it. I told him I will never go to another cost cutters I just want my money back $190 total for me and my daughters hair to get highlighted which was effed up to begin with. 90 some dollars apiece go figure and I believe I should get a discount because I'm 65 did they even bring that up. Never go there again inconsistent they don't know how to do hair and they rip you off.

why is York store on bishopthorpe road in York UK says its open until 10:00pm and when you go it is close by 9:00pm when it says on a lot of web sites and yours 10.00pm because is not the first i have go up about 9:00pm and it is close and i have needed a electric on or milk or bread and your shops close you need to put your times right or open to the right time
Takes people out of order wait to long.
People who come in after you, and gets added to list they leave and come back get in before you. Not the first time it happened. Wait times are too long...you wait over 1 hr just for a haircut. They don't seem to care when u tell them or ask them what or why that happened. Very sad they don't know how to treat all customers equally.
Services
Firstly it is extremely difficult to get into cost cutters even though they have a sign that says walk in welcome. I booked an appointment online and when I went in at the time I booked for I was told they don't take online bookings. The staff at seaford de cost cutters are very unfriendly. They have no customer service skills whatsoever. I figured they must hate their job. Yesterday I finally got an appointment. The lady that cut my hair literally took under 10 min to trim my hair and I was charged a whopping $32.50. She rushed through it. Mind you I just went in for a trim, no shampoo or wash just a trim! That took 7-10 min! Cost cutters your name doesn't hold up to your pricing unless I was overcharged. Also please teach your staff social skills. Thank you
Hair cut
I went to the Beloit, Wisconsin Walmart cost cutters and had the worst experience of my life. The lady who cut my older sons hair was rude and yelled at me when I told her I wanted his hair shorter on sides and longer on top. She did whatever she wanted and rubbed the machine so hard on his neck that she made him cry in agony. She was rude and disrespectful. I was very nice but she threw an attitude when I asked her to keep top longer and sides shorter. She said multiples "what you trying to say" and was very mean. She cut his hair very badly and did not do what I asked her to do. She shaved off side burns and cut his side burns and did nothing blend at all around the sides. I told her great clips does exactly what I ask them to do and she said well then go to great clips. I asked her why she was being rude. She turned around and said I was being rude and yelled at me again, I did not get her name but she was blonde, chubby in corner booth with a lip piercing. A few times she came at me like she was gonna beat me up. I was afraid and my kids were crying so we left as fast as we could. She made rude comments to me during that time. I will never ever step a foot in cost cutters ever again. My kids have the worst hair cuts ever and they are traumatized by this experience. Luckily my 4 year olds lady who cut his hair was very nice but his hair is horrible too. The rude lady in the corner booth made unnecessary remarks to me that had nothing to do with anything. My husband and I run two successful businesses. He runs one and run the other one. I work 2am to 2pm. It takes a lot for me to make plans to take my kids out for hair cuts and shopping. Anyway, my husband dropped us off at Walmart while he went to Menards next door. When he picked us up I was in tears and my older son was crying too claiming his neck hurt which was clearly red at the time. I feel we were abused and targeted by this individual working in customer service. She has no right to cut hair when clearly she hates people. I am taking my kids to great clips tomorrow to hopefully clean the hair upfrom these horrible hair cuts. I hope you fire this individual who clearly does not care about people. She is mean and clearly hates her job. I feel like she ruined my sons hair on purpose to get back at me for asking her to cut sides shorter. She has no right to be working in customer service or cutting people's hair.
Desired outcome: Worst customer service experience ever
I want to remove this as I uploaded photos of my young kids and also so not want to get bullied by the lady who cut my older boys hair. I do not want those images to be visible to anyone.
Highlights
Went in for partial highlights picked out a color from chart and stylist put wrong color in plus the foils where all uneven. Toner was left on way to long! I was not happy when I left the salon I still paid and tipped her. I called the 2nd day and asked her if she could fix the issue I drove 30 from my home to this salon she did NOTHING to fix my hair yet...

I took my child to cost cutters to get a before school haircut, lady was rude from the git go. Was talking to her self, stumbling around, dropping everything and wouldn't listen to a word we told her. She literally butchered my child's hair so bad when I took him somewhere else today that they had to cut almost all of his hair off and now a self conscious teenager has to start school with a hair cut he absolutely hates

I showed up for my scheduled appointment but the attending employee (Sarah O'Brien) completely ignored me even though she knew I was there. I waited for over 15 minutes when there were no other customers. All I wanted was a hair cut. She just kept cleaning in areas that had no purpose for my needs. In the end, she was disrespectful and told me I had to be patient.
