Gift Card expired
I bought 2 gift cards a couple of years ago one in the amount of $100 and the other for $150. I tried to use one today ($100)and it said there were no funds left on the card. When I got home I checked the balance on the other card($150) and it also said there were no funds available on the card. I purchased these cards in Albuquerque at Cracker Barrel and I want so answers as to where my $250 has gone. When purchasing these cards I was told that they NEVER expire. I assume since the COVID closed dining they closed their books out for 2020 and stole my money. I want answers. Small claims court here I come if I don't get some refunds. Very unhappy and plan to advise everyone that they took my money.

Not being able to reach anyone
I am trying to correct an error, maybe on my part, but none the less. I did not receive my $10 Cracker Barrel gift card that was offered with the online Mother's Day meal. I didn't see anywhere on there to put my email to receive an e card. Nor have I received anything via regular mail. The Cracker Barrel where I ordered from stated they are not responsible for gift cards and referred me to the home office. Since then, after several attempts, I can't get ahold of anyone nor do they return my call when I leave my number. My email is [protected]@yahoo.com

Gift card issue
In late April, I received a gift card to CrackerBarrel from my neighbor as a condolence regarding the passing of my mother in law. On June 6th, I went to our CrackerBarrel in Prescott Valley Az. and used my gift card to pay for dinner. I was told at that time that there was a -$0- balance on the card. I have to repeat that this was the first and only time I used the card. I did not keep the receipt and instruction card that came with the gift card so I contacted CrackerBarrel customer service to see what could be done. I was given a ticket number 000931. They "cheerfully told me that I had a -$0- balance on the card. I wrote them back saying I knew that and explained the issue and asked if there was anything that could be done. I got no response. I wrote to customer service again and asked about my issue. I was contacted by e-mail by Thom Wilkinson on June 14th. and was asked to provide the number on the card. I did and even added the"pin" number under the scratch off section. I never heard back from him. I wrote my last e-mail to Thom on June 19th. I really feel bad for my neighbor who spent her money on this card. Apparently the store clerk didn't activate it or did not put an amount on the card. I will not go back to my neighbor and tell her that her condolence gift didn't work. That's just not right. There probably is nothing that can be done but, it would be nice to hear it from your customer service department.

We did pick up at Cracker Barrel tonight (6/18/21). We normally eat the Friday Fish plate. We ordered our two go plates (2) and when we got them home this was the worst meal that I had ever seen or tried to eat. The fish was burnt, looked like burnt scrabbled eggs, soaking in burnt oil.
Normally, our fish are intact, lightly brown and not swimming in burnt oil. If we had been non take out tonight, we would have sent this meal back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were take out. Lesson learned tonight if I return to this business will be to check our food plates prior to paying for them to make sure we are not receiving burnt food soaking in burnt grease!
Very disappointment in Cracker Barrel for preparing this food for a customer to eat. I would not have fed this to a dog.

Take out food is a great situation for restaurants to serve the same priced and occasionally poorly prepared food.
I’m thinking Covid and the upsurge in take out presented many folks accepting less than decent food. And so, it’s become sort of the norm in many eateries to think they can serve sub standard food.
I always open the box and check the condition of the food and had a few issues that were addressed on the spot.
Also, remember that these restaurants employ anybody who can convince the management that they can cook and the restaurant thinks they can still charge these outerageous prices for sub standard food.
I worked in several places and could write a book!
Chicken pot pie
I had ordered cracker barrel online back on may 20th. Took it home ate my meal and only a few short hours i was sick. I was sick for 2 days. I have reached out to that location and havent heard a word back. Please help me with this as i will never order from there again.i find it unprofessional for not getting a response back as i was very ill. Something needs to be done

I called in order to place an order for curb service understand you supposed to do it online but I'm driving down the road I cannot download your app and try to watch to order as well driving so I don't think there should have been a problem with me calling you in to order something and getting tired of service but they refused me to do that so you just lost its tail and I'll just eat them pretty regular I don't know the difference it would make about calling and order it for subsurface versus online I was in a hurry I'm on the road can't take my eyes off the road to do that I really wish that it would be a option that we could have to order to online or we can call in and ask for curbside and have no problem. Invalid gift card
On 12/23/2020, I received a gift card for Christmas. I attempted to use the card on May 15, 2021 and I was informed its was invalid. I have the original receipt, and the card was purchased with cash for the amount of $35.00. The card was purchased at the Pueblo CO Cracker Barrel, cashier 1563677. I tried calling, but LONG waits to speak with anyone.
I have not had good experiences with your establishments, and the is just another reason. I am just asking that I get a replacement gift card for the $35.00. Its upsetting and embarrassing that this could not have been handled by the manager. Unprofessional that the customer to be inconvenienced. Your response is appreciated.

Possible food poisoning
My name is Willma Miller and I wanted to let someone know about how terribly sick I got after eating at the Cracker Barrel in Bloomington Normal Illinois. I ate dinner with a friend and had Chicken and dumplings and for desert I had blackberry cobbler. Approximately 7:00PM I developed chest pain that was constant and about 8PM started vomiting. I was sick for 12 hours. I called 911, went to OSF Saint Joseph hospital and was admitted for 5 days. I think it was from the blueberry cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream.
At the hospital they conducted several tests to make sure it wasn't my heart.
I feel like I need to report this to you so it doesn't happen to somebody else. I also reported it to our local health department.
Please refund my check. My friend and I had Chicken and dumplings and 2 deserts and 2 beverages.

I was with family yesterday and signed in at 10:00 am. At 12:12, still had not been seated with a party of 13. I understand it was Mother's Day, but there were others called before our party. The manager, Derek, was very rude and did not handle the situation professionally. He was involved in a heated conversation with several in our group.
Items for sale
I have notices that nearly every item for sale in your stores are made in China. China is a communist country that oppresses and tortures people who have religious or differing political views. I am a repeat customer and I am considering not eating at your restaurant in the future. This would be hard because I eat at Cracker Barrel quite often. I would rather pay more for things made in America than support any establishment that does not see the danger and moral issues related to the Chinese government. I have never receive bad service and the food is consistently good so it troubles me to have to say this.
