Amount was $47:80 Then I went back to counter to purchase some items with the card The lady @ register tried to wipe code off & she couldn't It is eligible now
I waited around about 20 min. while the manager tried to read it She couldn't either She said I had to go home & call Home office which I did No person answered just recording asking for me to leave my # in for next in line in QUE?
That was 11 AM today & now it is 3 PM & still no call back. I needed the money for XMAS shopping? I feel I shouldn't have had to go through all this & to wait for my Refund?

Fireplace smoke in Chesapeake, Va store #658
We have dined at this store numerous times over the past ten years. In the past year during the cold months, the fireplace is not drafting, leading to smoke in the dining area. This is ongoing. We had breakfast today (12/13/2022 Tuesday) and I finally told the waitress we would not be coming anymore due to the smoke situation. The employees complain of the same thing. It burns their eyes and causes coughing. The store management tried to mitigate the situation by opening doors, which drops the inside temperature to an uncomfortable degree. I have been coming to this store for years. The fireplace never did this in the past. I have asked the wait staff id management has called in a fireplace vendor to investigate the issue and they say no...they have not. I have owned several houses with fireplaces and have had to consult with vendors to fix blockages, cleaning and removal of debris. something is wrong with that fireplace. To keep the unit burning when it does not draft correctly seems counter-productive to good customer service. It doesn't cost a lot to hire a company to fix this. I think you have already lost enough customers to pay for a it to be fixed. Until it is fixed...you have lost my wife and I.

My sister and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel on Sunday, December 11, 2022 for lunch. We drove to the Buckeye, AZ location and was seated in the appropriate. The waitress came over and asked what we wanted to drink and handed us the menus.
The waitress brought our drinks over and asked what we wanted to eat for lunch. My sister and I placed our orders and proceeded to start drinking our beverages. We just moved here from Georgia and had found since this was our second time to this location that their processes were a little different. The first time we came was on Thanksgiving Day for lunch and found that the manager was not as customer service conscious as the ones in Georgia. For instance, I do not like sweet potatoes and wanted to switch the item on my turkey lunch to one that was more likable to me (maybe, cole slaw). The manager stated that at his store, they do not switch items around since it can become time consuming. However, when I went to the Kennesaw location in Georgia, that I have been doing for almost 20 years, it was never a problem. I did not say much at the time, but thought the manager’s ruling was questionable.
After waiting for almost an hour for our food, I asked the waitress, Beth, if we could get some biscuits since we were hungry. She stated that they were about to come out of the oven in two minutes and would bring them to us at that time. About ten minutes passed and no biscuits. My sister stated to the manager that we had been waiting for a long time and could he help us out. During this time period, the waitress made sure the table next to us was waited on and checked out – not us. The manager in turn started yelling at us and was shocked since we are senior citizens and had not caused no problems at that time. In turn my sister stated loudly to the manager that we were hungry and was diabetic – he did not care. My sister and I got up from the table and asked if we should pay for our beverages and the manager said “NO” loudly so the entire restaurant could hear. We left the restaurant and went to Burger King instead to eat since we were very hungry. This is elder abuse and very unprofessional for both the manager and the waitress. We want some sort of accommodations for what Cracker Barrel put us through.
Why my refund cannot be put back on my Debt card!!!
2 weeks ago I returned items in gift shop one of the items were damaged, so they told me they cannot return money on my debt Allegacy card! so they refuned my money on gift card $89.97 I told them I did not want that much money on gift card! Why didn't they give me cash back that would have been better. Why do you not refund to debt Allegacy cards, My debt card work's in all other stores!

take out mess up, once again
order [protected] Fletcher NC location. Just picked up order, chicken sandwich with NO MAYO. It has mayo on both sides. Someone who is allergic to eggs cannot handle this. WHY can't they get any to go order correct? A couple of weeks ago we had pancakes to go. We got no syrup. How do you pack up pancakes and not pack syrup? The time before I ordered the maple glazed chicken and there was no bacon and no maple glaze but there was all kinds of liquid in the togo container. It was too gross to even eat. If the managers can't get the people to get the orders right fire them. If I had eaten the sandwich tonight I would have sued cracker barrell. Something to think about

Service and food
We have eaten at Cracker Barrell for many years and enjoyed our meals but this trip has made us ponder if we ever want to go back to the Elizabethtown, Ky restaurant. We realize that it is difficult to get help and we were patient with our waitress but as time went on it our patiences grew very thin. To begin we waited for 25 minutes to be seated after about 15 min, we finally got a waitress that took our drink order and we placed our food order at the same time. Again 15 min later we get our tea. Oh I forgot your biscuits NO silverware or napkins, so finally catch her to ask for sliverware and napkins OH we out of knives the dishwasher is broke. We wait and wait for our food she comes back we are out of baked potaotes. So again we change and wait some more. Then finally after an hour wait she bring out a platter of food place in front of me grilled salmon I ordered grilled chicken my husband ordered a steak it was hambuger steak, We said that its we are leaving. Never walked out of a Cracker Barrel but after that no way were going to wait any longer for food! On scale of 1-10 this was a ZERO!
Desired outcome: I hope this is addressed that it doesn't become a habit that others have to experience this kind of service.
Gift card pin number
My son purchased a $50.00 Cracker Barrel gift card in December, 2021.
When I tried to use the card a few months later, it was not accepted because the PIN was covered by one of your stickers and when pealed off it took part of the PIN number with it. According to your employee this made the card not valid. I have tried a number of times to contact your company without success. The card number is [protected] and the PIN numbers that seem to be still readable are 93. The PIN number consists of four numbers. You have a very poor customer service department that tells me that they are too busy and I will have to try again at another time. This is always a prerecorded voice, never a live person. Fairmont West Virginia - Thanksgiving take home family meal -$160.00
I ordered The Thanksgiving Family - take home catering meal and spent over $ 160.00. I ordered well in advance to make sure I placed my order appropriately since it was the large meal. We picked it up the day before Thanksgiving as indicted on our pick up schedule. Heating instructions were followed. The meal other than the baked goods and one of the turkeys was inedible. The gravy was green (maybe too much sage or something), the mashed potatoes were runny and had zero flavor, the dressing absolutely was so full of cornmeal it looked like mush and tasted gritty and no flavor, the sweet potato casserole was sour, the rolls were hard, and the Mac and cheese again had zero flavor. I was so embarrassed because I was hosting the dinner. We took pictures of the green gravy. We threw most of the food away. Needless to say we had to go get fast food. I filed a complaint with the store but yet have heard anything from them after two emails. I initially called but was told they were too busy to check the status and didn’t think they could find a manager. I understand low staff, but if you cannot deliver the promised product, then don’t take my money and pretend. This is 100% fraud advertising on a product but still taking money from a customer. I’m still trying to figure out the green gravy if it was even safe.
Desired outcome: I want a percentage refund.

Always a fan of Cracker Barrel until now. The menu has changed so much, omitting some of our favorites, such as regular hash browns, The Sunrise Sampler, having to pay for apple butter, extremely high price point with smaller portions. Then adding alcoholic beverages is very disappointing. There is a demographic that you are alienating and it’s just sad. We will be hard pressed to return.

Quality of food
My family and I spent over $300 on take out Thanksgiving dinner from Cracker Barrel at the new store in Bakersfield CA. We had five individual plates and eight sides and five pies. The plates and sides were TERRIBLE! The food portions were awful. One plate had one piece of turkey. Several sides were practically empty. You open the container and there was a very small amount of food in it. Our guests did not have enough to eat. It was embarrassing after having placed so much trust in Cracker Barrel in the past. The food was chewy, tasteless and just an embarrassment. Another family member in Kansas has a similar experience. I want you to know that if you cannot make this situation right, I will do my level best to spread the word about the poor food and service we had at Thanksgiving 2022. A hire-up manager needs to read this message and address it. Anything less is unacceptable.

I went to the Altamonte Springs Florida location yesterday 11-20-22 at 2:45 pm and wanted to have 16 people sit together for a birthday party was informed that it would be an hour wait - then it went to and hour and 45 minutes - but very rude about it - so I let them know that I would take my business elsewhere - it was a loss to them but they didn't care. The other business we went to was very happy to make a $400 sale - so glad that cracker barrel is doing so well - loss this family forever sincerely

On 10/16/2022 our Trailway tour bus stopped with 18 passengers at the Cracker Barrel in Milford Ct at about 7PM.
Our table of 4 were seared in area that was not serviced. We had to wait 15-20 minutes to find a waitress (subsequently learning that the assigned person went off duty at 7PM). When we did place an order we had to wait again 15-20 minutes to receive our meals (one of which was not correct and subsequently we were over charged). When we placed a complaint one manager walked away stating she would not handle it, the second stated there was nothing she could do to assist us. In the meantime our bus was ready to leave.
As opposed to our prior experiences at this same restaurant we are completely disappointed at its current service / management staff.

We went to Cracker Barrel in Brighton Mi last night (10/20) about 8:30 p.m. The food was a bit dried up (esp. Buiscits and potatoe casserole. Didn't complain because we realized it was late. When I tried to use a gift card (which was very old) we were told there was no money on the card. Whenever I use up a gift card I throw it away. I am 99% sure it hadn't been used.
