pharmacy at this location awful
I am forced to use CVS by Caremark. This location is on my way home and nearest to my house but the service is the worst. Every time that I have new prescriptions sent in from doctors office, this location will mess them up. All of my prescriptions are for 90 day supply as mandated by Caremark but the pharmacy will fill them as 30 day supply then have to...
Read full review of CVS and 5 commentsdenial of tricare pharmacy coverage
just found out that no CVS covers Tricare for Life, the drug coverage for retired military and other folk. This is appalling and for shame on CVS! Goodness gracious - these are the people who put their lives on the line for our country, and now a for-profit company sees fit to not help them.
Is CVSs profit margin 'demand' so high that they cannot fill Tricare prescriptions? I would think that the sheer volume of people on Tricare would mean plenty of money for CVS.
I doubt I need to say it, but we will not shop CVS if another alternative is possible for whatever we need.

medication (ambien)
I called a refill prescription through the automated machine. I received an automated call the next day that the prescription was ready. I went into the store, and was told nothing was ready for me. They told me they contacted my physician's office and had not heard back. I explained, I have a new physician. I called and told you guys that. She said I will...

As a licensed physician in 2 states (Kansas & Louisiana), with a valid NPI number, I have recently been writing my own prescriptions (to include: amlodipine, telmisa hctz, doxazosin, crestor omeprasole, furosemide) due to 2 cross country moves in the past 2 years. I have been a CVS customer for likely 15 years. Today I transferred my business to Walgreeen...

I called several times to ask a quick question about the OTC medications I purchased today. I called at around 17:59, was on hold for 4 minutes and then the call hung up. I called back at 18:03, waited for 12 minutes and was hung up on again. Try again at 18:15, again no one answers, no one says please hold, no communication at all. I then try Rite...

On Sept. 18, 2019 I went to this 24 hour CVS at approx. 7am there was no one to be found to check me out in the front. I looked around for about 5 minutes and the pharmacist was in the back by the drive thru window helping someone. After she had finished with her customer I did not asked her to cash me out, I only asked if she can page someone to the front...

#06433, 2516 Gallatin rd, Nashville TN 37206
Our patient receives a controlled substance from this pharmacy. Tennessee has enacted many laws that make prescribers as well as pharmacist weary when filling controls. The patient stated he picked the medication up on the 19th and would not be allowed to pick it up until the 19 which would be 31 days. I reviewed the State data base and called this CVS to let them know it was dispensed on the 19th. They said that when they prepare/fill a script it goes into the data base and the pick up dase can be different.
I preceded to ask another question. The Pharmacist said are you just going to continue to talk or are you going to, listen and let me talk. She repeated herself. My question was in regards to how to interpret the data base if they didn't represent when the patient received the medication. She was focused on the pick up date.
I know patient can be frustrating. I know this patient had called her frequently. I wanted clarity so I could deescalate our patient in the future and not give them incorrect information regarding their meds. Our patient have mental health and addiction issues, causing increased anxiety if anything changes. If we understand how CVS works we can help them relax and reduce the number of calls CVS receives.
As a member of the healthcare team, it is unclear to me why she would talk to me or a patient in such an abrupt manor. Without taking the time to understand what my inquiry was concerning. My offices patients are not always truthful with me and i depend on the pharmacists to help me better understand the situation, not talk down to me.

The Nurse Practitioner finish with his patient and I saw him clean up as he normally does before the next patient ( i was sitting across the open door), He walks out and ask where a specific lady was at and me an another person that was waiting told him that she had left, He went back inside his office and was playing around on the PC, after 5 or so...

On hold for 10+ minutes today and hung up because call was never answered. Drove past while on hold and 1 car at drive through. Parking lot was not overly packed. Read full review of CVSpromise of $5 rebate
I was told I would get a $5 rebate after 10 prescriptions were filled at a CVS pharmacy... I took the offer at its word and filled 10 prescriptions at a CVS pharmacy... Well, there was small print apparently that was... invisible to me. The CVS pharmacy I had gone to was a Target. Unbeknownst to me, the deal is that the $5 rebate is not accepted at the CVS pharmacy because... well, how could I not guess?... the CVS pharmacy's cash-registers are Target's. I had waited to take advantage of the rebate when I picked up my prescriptions and that's when I learned that little tidbit of info. The $5 rebate also had a very short deadline... by the time I learned about this, the coupon had expired. I checked w/ a CVS store and was told that the expired coupon would not be honored. Well, talk about the customer needing to read the mind of the rebate-marketers... I find this really, really sneaky and dishonorable. So, I have taken my prescriptions elsewhere... I will avoid CVS like the plague from here on.

8/21- I called cvs to fill my script which they recieved on 8/19. They told me they didn't have enough in stock until the next day. I my complaints: cvs rewards points and their usage
I was a member of Long's prior to CVS and its useless point/reward system which stinks to high heaven. Tuesday I purchased D3 PA, only to realized they were caps instead of tablets. Today, i returned them to MTN, and could not use my reward of $4.00 for two reasons: 1. Your store had 1 bottle of 100 tabs, when requested a second bottle, the rude little white woman stated I needed to $30.00 purchase. 2. Years, I have earned and lost points to CVS pocket because I am not in need of sale items, especially cosmetics. 3. Some of the clerks will acknowledge the coupons with kindness while others (white old woman), who is nasty to black folks. She never took the time to find out if the tablets were in the back which would have been great customer service.
4. not only am I corresponding with you but I will contact MGMT at the MTN, CA store and do the same; as I am sick of CVS taking money from my pocket.

My name is James Baker and I live in Palo Alto, CA. On about the middle of June, 2019, I stopped by your store at 2701 Middlefield Rd. in Palo Alto. I was there to purchase some items that I needed. My daughter who is 13 was in an accident. After leaving the hospital we decided to have her medicines filled by our hometown pharmacy or cvs. We looked online made sure they were open and it stayed on the website that they are open till 9:30pm, we got there at 9:15 and were refused service because they were closing. So now my child has to be in pain all night because none of the 3 people in the pharmacy wanted to do their job.
