Dinner / Games / Bill / Tip
I recently visited the D&V in the Palisades Mall on 10/9/2022 and had a wonderful time with my family and paid my bill and recommended gratuity.
While in the arcade I reviewed my dinner bill and noticed that I had paid the waitress a tip not based on dinner alone, but also the 3 game cards I purchased at $35 each for a total of $105. I find it ridiculous to have to pay a tip just because someone gave you three game cards.
I wasn't about to go back and ask for the "extra" tip back from the waitress, so I am instead reaching out to see if anything can be rectified here and to also have this practice of adding the cost of the game cards onto the total bill. The bill should be broken down into two parts, dinner plus gratuity and the purchase of the game cards,

Desired outcome: I'm not going to cry over $10 but this practice should stop. I'm very angry over the 'sneakiness' of the waitress pressing me to buy the cards at dinner time.
Lost tickets
I went to a Dave and busters in Northridge California for play some games, as I also need to switch tickets to an existing card that already had tickets and money on it. the lady messed it up so bad I lost 14000 tickets! they told me there was nothing I could do but call a number. I've called multiple times and I have yet to hear back from anyone. this was over a month ago! I've spent more than 500 dollars collecting all those tickets and was saving them up. I am ready to take it to small claims court and get my money back. I am very frustrated and annoyed at the fact they can't even call someone back. this was a mistake on the employees fault and she made me lost all my tickets. I used to love going to Dave and busters, now they are the worst service ever and do not care about you or the progress you make. all the want is to take your money and hope you stop calling there customer service.
Workers compensation
I don't recommend that anyone pursue employment at Dave and Busters (or Main Event, which is the same company). My youngest was working late one night, during late December of 2021, when he strained his knee, climbing out of a game he had had to reset. He was then unable to place any weight on that leg. His older brother had to take a cab there to drive his younger brother home in the younger one's car. The company assigned him a workers comp rep, who promised to get back to him with information on where he could attend physical therapy. The last time he was able to get her to respond, either by telephone or email, was mid-February, 2022. If I hadn't paid for his orthopedic, imaging, and PT services, he would still be limping around on one leg.
Rude behavior of manager
I would like to share my disastrous and disappointing experience at Dave & Buster Fair Oaks mall, Fairfax VA on Jun 11th, 2022. Though the damage is done I am writing to ensure that the same is not repeated either with me or any other guests.
I am a foreign tourist from India visiting my family in Chantilly VA. I visited D&Bs Fairfax several times with my kids earlier and have thoroughly enjoyed the time I had spent here. With my past wonderful experience, I brought my kids to enjoy the evening playing games.

The reason I have shared my year of birth is to highlight that just by looking at our group you can identify our age of eligibility.
Our server was “Lucas”, who undoubtedly is a very helpful person, took our food order and asked us very politely to show an identification to establish we can consume alcoholic beverages. Still, we took it sportingly, my relatives had showed their American identification and I have shown him an Indian Driving License reflecting my photograph and date of birth.
This is the same identification that I have shown and accepted across multiple restaurants in Boston, New York, and New Jersey in the last 2 weeks. I believe Lucas had no experience in validating a foreign identification, so he requested us to get it double-checked with his manager “Nedar”. This is where the problem started.
The so-called Manager “Nedar”, who should have more knowledge of house policies regarding age identification, came and told us that he can’t allow us drinks without ID which is mentioned in House Policy Handbook. I told him that we are regular visitor and had never faced any issue with identification by my driving license. He suggested that being a foreign national he would need to check passports for me and my wife. I have a digital copy of our passports saved in my phone that he flatly refused to validate. He wanted a physical ID so we immediately returned home to pick up our passports.
We came back with passports and the manager declined the validity of my wife’s passport and served drinks for 3 adults only. His point was he wanted to check a VISA issued by the US government for which I don’t believe he has any right. I have entered this country with a legal document validated at the Port of Entry by a legal immigration officer who stamped my passport with valid stay permission. The stamp on my passport is proof that the immigration officer has already validated my documents.
When my wife was taking a photograph of the drink served to our female relative, the manager ‘Nedar’ suddenly reappeared – picked up all drinks from our table and immediately put the check on the table for payment. We all were in complete shock and asked the manager about the reason behind this rude behavior for which his standard reply was that we have broken the house policy. He brought a House Policy Handbook which I think he himself has not read. He has no clue absolutely if anything was mentioned in the handbook about how to check the identification of foreign guests.
We declined to pay charges for drinks and requested him to remove it but he again flatly refused. Seeing his adamant behavior and rudeness we escalated the issue to his supervisor “Mr. Isaac Shure (AGM)”, who with our luck has better common sense and more maturity to handle this situation. When we explained the entire event, he accepted that there was an execution error, and the manager must have missed a few critical steps. He politely apologized and waved off the entire check. “Nedar” remained unapologetic and rude.
With such a worst experience, I would never return to D&Bs and ensure that all my friends and family members are aware of this incident. Meeting Mr. Shure, I am sure D&Bs human resource team does have criteria to check customer handling skills before recruiting someone for a critical role. My only request is that this incident must not go unnoticed and corrective measures must be taken not to repeat it in the future.

They promise to help fix a problem you have but never contact you back. I had 2 cards with 2 accounts and they left me with the account with least amount of points in my app. The other one that I had 4000 points already accumulated they said I couldn't have 2 accounts with the same phone number. I had to do another email cause the current one at the time wasn't working. At least leave me with that one. I had to basically spend thousands again to reach 4000 points. Unfair. Also spent about 100 in the restaurant and didn't give me the points for it. You add info online to see if they give you the points but they brush it off again. On the phone they say yeah I'll call you back but never do. I should at the moment have 8000 points easy. They are robbing me of what I'm own. You can't even talk to corporate.
Desired outcome: Someone from corporate help me fix this mess they made so I can enjoy Dave and busters again.

Pull cameras... U can see that I went to the bar... Waited... Waited... Left went to restroom.. Came back with my husband... Waited... Moved to other end of bar closer to the bartender that was busy... I get that... I also work in high intensity enviroment... So I do understand.. At the point that the bartender went and served people that came to bar after us my husband got upset... We asked to speak to a mgr that poised herself with a standoffish attitude... Who obviously did not care about customer service... And did nothing other than frustrate my husband further... Myself have worked in this environment... Nartended... Managed bars and am currently a division mgr in an iconic restaurant known for our unruly customers... And still know how to accommodate a customer that is upset... We dropped quite a bit of money considering it was just my husband and myself... This young lady by the name of kelly would be awesome as a bouncer of a club... But as a representative of a company that has children there... No... She had no intention of being of any help to us... Said that we were trying to intimidate her... All we were tryingbto do was get help... Is there something wrong with that? That is what your management is there for... I know in my position at my job... It is my responsibility to accommodate my paying customer... I feel discriminated against... Paid for cards that will not be used... After this experience... Which was the first time we had ever been here and were super excited... Our server and food we ate before we played games was awesome... However this young lady was absolutely horrendous... I understand in thos new economy that it is hard to attain reliable and capable help... But can I just say wow... I do not know how to even describe the demeanor she approached us with when we wanted to complain... I understand complaints are not what any member of a management want to deal with... But that is a part of being in management and a part of customer service... I would not emply this particular young lady in the position she is in... I really do not want a corporate apology... I don't want someone asking if I want gift certificates or store credit to accommodate me... I would like my money back... Not for my whole ticket... We did eat the food... I did drink my beverage... I was at Livonia Michigan yesterday. Front to back top to bottom, your staff sucks except for one waitress. Your drinks have no prices and they are watered down. Then you find out their TEN [censored]ING BUCKS. Your 3D event didn't work quite right and the lens were smudged and the [censored] you hired to work that spends most of his time staring into his phone, both ears plugged. Oh, you must go up, get back in line and put a SEPARATE FIVE DOLLAR CHARGE on a card even with credits on it. Oh, and if [censored] don't work we don't give refunds.
It's too damn loud, its dirty, and dark. Doesn't have to be that dark. The air hockey table is not well lit. Many machines not turned on. The three goons at the entrance to the bar/restaurant were clearly not happy to see yet more people looking to eat. Telling people there is a half hour wait when many of the damn tables were empty and a whole section was roped off unused. We were in the middle of a game eight minutes later and they texted us to come eat. When we got there, one of the men was literally pissed off that we still wanted to eat and they had to seat us. UN. BE. LIEVABLE.
From what I have read online you are now just a large [censored]ty company selling [censored] everywhere with low low ratings.

On March 12, 2022 at 7:20pm I walk in Dave & Busters in Hollywood FL. As I came, my family and I walked toward an empty table and seat as usual. Thereafter Brenisha “the hostess” walked toward me and stated that we are supposed to wait in a line to be seated and she said on top of that the table is broken which my family and I step out politely to wait on the line. We bought four tickets for that ride and it was down they said it would be up shortly we waited 6 hours and they still couldn't get it running and they refused to give our money back
Between our four kids we spent $325 on the games we were there for six hours I think that was more than enough time to get that virtual ride up and it was still down when we left and they refused to refund our money for the ride Not a good way to run a business

Me and my Husband wanted to try something different and both never been here, wanted to check it out. The whole experience was terrible. We walked in at 945, the ladies at the front told us to have a seat a booth or bar, we went to booth but told Kitchen was closed at that time. We ended up walking around, at 950 we heard over the intercom LAST CALL FOR FOOD, (we were so hungry too) so we went to the bar, sat there and watched the 2 bartender ladies walk past us didn't acknowledge us, had to wave her down and asked to order food because they said last call. Her response was NO WE ARE NOT ORDERING FOOD ANYMORE then she just walked away, didn't even ask us if we wanted something to drink, 2 min later, another person walks up and the other bartender lets her order food after we were just told that it was closed. Then the lady (Thalia) ( that's the name that was in the receipt) said ok I guess you can order food now, and then I asked for a menu, never been here before, don't know what my options are. She said I had to scan it on my phone and look at it through there, I personally don't know how to use the scan thing, I wanted to see a menu physically. She then walked around, came back and asked us what we wanted, told her 2 strawberry margaritas, chicken strips and fries. Got the drinks first. Literally tasted like all Strawberries, no alcohol whatsoever. Didn't feel anything, and there were big drinks. I then over hear the couple next to me complaining about the same girl ( Thalia) said there were over charged and there drinks tasted like no alcohol also. There is a manger there now, I started to say that she was gave us a horrible experience too in front the The manger and she just walked around like she didn't even want to hear my situation. Me and my husband were so upset, we ended up walking out with our 150 tokens still left on card. Didn't even to to spend no more time there or play anymore games.

On May 1st I visited Dave & Busters - Milpitas around 11 pm.
I understand that I should have been more mindful of my game swipes since it was very close to closing.
I swiped 4 times and was able to play 2 games. I lost 2 game swipes.
Also, I wasn't able to redeem my tickets for the 2 plays I got in.
Additionally, this particular machine that was open-to-play had a token stuck on the right hand slot.
Desired outcome: Refund for my 4 game swipes. total 43.2 credits.

I went to check how many points I had, and it said I had 0 when I had well over 100. I was confused but then I realized it was probably due to either outing a be chip on the card or using my card for the vr. Please fix this ASAP, it really ruined the experience and wasted my money and we didn't even get refunded!
