My daughter purchased a wedding dress and had alterations done, came in for final fitting on September 1, 2023 at 2:30 PM. We had asked for buttons the color of dress to be put on top of the zipper so the zipper wasn’t as noticeable. We also asked for the zipper to be replaced and they said it couldn’t, so we asked for it to be trimmed down. We also asked if buttons can go all the way down the zipper they told us NO! When we came for the final fitting, the buttons were not what we had paid for or asked they were a different color. The seamstress told us in a very rude manner. That’s what she chose to put on I said, why didn’t you call and ask for my permission she again told me that’s what she had on hand and that’s what she chose. When my daughter put on the dress, we noticed how uneven the buttons were and there was a hole in the netting the work was horrific. I went to the store manager, and she also agreed how horrible the job was. We asked if the buttons could be replaced with the white buttons, the seamstress came back with white buttons that she said she found in a drawer, they were filthy and I said I want brand new buttons. She again argued with me being rude until the store manager got involved and agreed with me when we brought in the dress in the garment bag there was also a second dress that we purchased for the rehearsal dinner apparently they couldn’t locate the dress and had lost it and told us that they would replace it but at this point she doesn’t even want the dress anymore she is so aggravated with David bridals she’s ready to report to the Better Business Bureau and attorney generals office. This was supposed to be a special day and has been nothing but aggravation. We have spent a lot of money in the store buying seven dresses accessories shoes I expect some resolve meant in this matter.
Desired outcome: I want my money back on the alterations and my second wedding dress
