I went to Deals All Year to find a battery pack and charger for my old Canon PowerShot camera. I wanted to give it to my grandson for his trip to St. Thomas, which was happening the next day. The two dudes who worked there were super cool and helpful. They searched through their storage to find the right one for me. After a while, they finally found it and helped me install it. They were so nice and professional, I couldn't have asked for better service. I'm definitely going to be giving them all my photo business from now on. This store is awesome and the guys who work there are even better!

Before returning the lens, I took many photographs of the item being returned to ensure that there were no cosmetic issues. However, a few days later, I received an Amazon notification that I had a refund for the lens, but I was being charged a fee of $438.80. When I contacted the seller, someone named Fred b claimed that the lens had marks on it and needed to be repaired. I suspected that this was a scam and immediately contacted Amazon customer service to request a photo of the alleged mark. Once I received the photograph, I compared it to my photographs and realized that the mark was not on the lens when I returned it.
I sent Fred b three of the 15 photographs I had taken, and he claimed that my photographs were from far away and at a different angle. This confirmed my suspicion that the seller was attempting to scam me out of $438.00. I immediately contacted Amazon customer service and offered the remaining photographs of the lens that clearly indicated there were no marks of any kind upon this lens. One of the Amazon customer service representatives verified this fact and opened an A to Z claim against the seller.
Once Amazon looked at the email exchanges between the seller and myself, plus the photographic evidence I provided, I was promptly issued a refund for the $438.80 fee the seller was attempting to charge me. The seller is now falsely claiming that I had the lens in my possession for 2 months on the Amazon Seller Feedback site, which is another false statement. It would be wise for this seller to cease digging that hole by posting false information concerning this ordeal.
Overall, Amazon was great during this ordeal. However, I would caution buyers to beware of Deals All Year (brick and mortar) and Global Camera USA (Amazon). It is important to take precautions when returning expensive items and to document the condition of the item before returning it.
